The kingly anointing 2

Monday, February 29th
The kingly anointing 2.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
 Revelation 5:10.

The word king like we learnt yesterday, means the lord of the land. This therefore means that in the sight of God, the lord of the land is not the Chief, or the titled king, or the Governor, or the President. The lords of the land in God's sight are the Christians in that land, state or nation. They are the ones that have the last word on every issue in that land. This is why we must know and understand how to use the authority that has been given to us of God.

Ecclesiastes 8:4(MSG) says, “The king has the last word. Who dares say to him, "What are you doing?" We have the last word. That is why you must learn how to use your mouth rightly, because the last word is in your mouth concerning your finances, health, family, protection, nation, etc. Do not take this truth lightly because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, “For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;” Including life and death, they are all yours.

Therefore, as kings of this nation, we must repent from speaking the wrong words about our nation, and follow what the Word says to us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God is indeed depending on us for the prosperity of the land where we live and where he has sent us. We can do something about the progress of this nation and her people. This is why we are learning this at such a time as this. So, repent from speaking curses on the nation. Then pray and declare what you want to see in this nation. You are making this nation a better place to live in for your children and generations yet unborn. Use your authority well as we take responsibility for our nation.

Prayer
Dear Father, I repent from speaking curses and negative statements about this nation, my life, family, finances and all that have to do with me. Today, I speak God's peace to this nation, and I declare that violence shall no more be heard in our land. Instead there shall only be prosperity and sustainable developments in our nation. I pray that the fear of God will be in the hearts of all our political leaders, and you will cause them to favour God's righteous cause, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Jeremiah 1:9-10, 1 Kings 17:1, Revelations 2:26-27.

Doing the Word

The kingly anointing

Sunday, February 28th
The Kingly anointing.

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
Revelation 1:6.

When you got born again, you were initiated into the Priesthood. Then, there is also the kingly anointing which is called the baptism with the Holy Spirit. However, a lot of Christians do not know what they received the day they got born again or when they received the Holy Spirit because they have not been taught.

So, as a born again Christian you ought to know that you are already a king. The word 'kings' in our opening scripture is from the Greek word 'basileus.' It refers to a king, a prince, a commander, a lord of the land or a leader of the people.

Therefore, as a Christian, you must know that you have been made the lord of the land where you are. God has made you a ruler. God has given you a sphere of authority. So do not see yourself as a victim or someone who lacks ability. No! You are a king. You have the authority and ability to determine what happens around you. And the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?”

The Lord Jesus also says to us in Luke 10:19(GW), “I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy's power. Nothing will hurt you.” That is the sovereign declaration of the One who has all power; we see that in Matthew 28:18 where Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Then in the verse 19, He says to us, “Go ye therefore …” In other words, He is backing us with all His authority and power in all that we do. So, as you exercise your authority as a king today, be confident knowing that you are backed by the All Powerful One. His Name is Jesus.

Prayer.
Thank you Father for making me a king to reign and rule on the earth. I thank you for I am backed up with your authority which is superior to all other authority and power. I thank you Father for you have filled my words with creative ability to always produce what they talk about, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Daniel 7:18, Daniel 7:27, 1 Peter 2:9,
Revelations 5:10.

Doing the Word
Function in your kingly anointing today; declare what you want to see happen around you and in our nation.

You are preserved

Saturday, February 27th
You are preserved.

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”
Jude 1:1

Do you know that you are preserved in Jesus Christ if you are born again? When I found this scripture many years ago I knew I could not backslide. If you believe this, then make this confession out loud, “I am preserved in Jesus Christ. I do not backslide.” This is your right in Christ; the right to be preserved.

Jesus said in John 6:37-39, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

The Father's will concerning you in Jesus Christ is for you to be preserved in Christ till the last day. Believe this, no matter the contention of the enemy for your soul, you shall not be lost. In John 10:27-30 Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.” Settle this forever in your heart: you are in Jesus Christ and no one will be able to pluck you out. Amen.

Confession:
By my faith in the Word of God, I declare that I am preserved in Jesus Christ; I do not backslide. I am in Jesus Christ and no one will be able to pluck me out. Faithful is He that called me who also will do it. Amen.

For further study, read:
John 18:9, 2 Timothy 4:18, 1 Peter 1:5.

Doing the Word
Remain faithful in Christ.

Grow up spiritually

Friday, February 26th
Grow up spiritually.

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”
Galatians 4:1.

From today's opening scripture, we see that if the heir to an inheritance is a child, he is not different from a servant. The word 'child' is from the Greek word 'nepios.' This implies; ‘one that is an infant or an immature Christian who is untaught in the Word of God.’ So, as long as you remain a spiritual infant who is untaught in the Word of God, you are not different from a servant.

Notice, the Word says, in our opening text, “… as long as he is a child …” This means that you can remain a child as long as you want. As long as you are not feeding on the Word of God, you will remain a child spiritually, notwithstanding how long you have been born again. You will be unable to enjoy your inheritance because you have chosen to remain in the state of infancy through the years.

Secondly, the word 'lord' in Galatians 4:19, refers to a sovereign; one that is supreme in authority. In other words, the baby Christian is an heir to all the authority that God has, but he is still like a servant because he is still a child (an infant); one that is untaught in the Word of God.

This explains why some Christians pray sometimes and they do not see results. Why? It is because they are untaught in the Word of God. So they are unlearned and unskilled in the knowledge and the usage of the Word of righteousness to get results. This is why Ephesians 4:14-15(WNT) admonish us saying, “So we shall no longer be babes nor shall we resemble mariners tossed on the waves and carried about with every changing wind of doctrine according to men's cleverness and unscrupulous cunning, making use of every shifting device to mislead. But we shall lovingly hold to the truth, and shall in all respects grow up into union with Him who is our Head, even Christ.”

Prayer
Dear Father, today I recommit my heart to your Word. As I feed on your Word daily, may my heart be good ground for your Word and let the Word produce in my life what it talks about always in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Isaiah 28:9, 1 Corinthians 14:20, Hebrews 5:12-14.

Doing the Word
Give priority to your growth spiritually. Do not just hear the Word of God; practice what you hear.

No more curse

Thursday, February 25th
No more curse.

“The curse of Jehovah is in the house of the wicked; But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.” Proverbs 3:33(ASV)

Understanding the doctrine of righteousness would empower me to live free from every curse because from the day I became righteous in Christ Jesus, every curse was reversed to a blessing. Some people are struggling to break curses in their lives. They have fought the enemies, they have fasted and struggled to be delivered from curses that have hindered their progress, yet to no avail. If only they can believe the gospel in Galatians 3:13-14 which says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Believing this simple truth and choosing to appropriate it in your life can completely deliver you from every curse, but there are some that would not believe. Their minds are corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. So their struggle to be free continues.

The Bible says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, …” Proverbs 11:9(ASV) says, “… But through knowledge shall the righteous be delivered.” The knowledge of the truth of what Jesus Christ has accomplished for you already is what liberates you. Jesus Himself said, “… If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32(ASV)

Confession.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore the blessing of the Lord is upon me according to the Word which says, “Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on me through Jesus Christ; that I might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Jesus has taken my curse, therefore I am free from every curse. Amen.

For further study, read:
Genesis 49:25, Psalm 5:12,  Psalm 128:1-5.

Doing the Word
Read the blessings in Deuteronomy 28:2-14 and declare same over you and your household.

Renew your mind

Wednesday, February  24th
Renew your mind.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …” Proverbs 23:7

Until you change what you believe about yourself, you will not be able to change your behaviour, because “as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” It is how you see yourself that determines your behavior.

If you are still struggling with bad habits in your Christian walk, it is because there is a stronghold you have allowed in your mind that has kept you in captivity. These strongholds are imaginations and thoughts. Bondage is a house of thoughts. Therefore, prayer alone is not what will change your behavior. You have to renew your mind.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 say, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” Therefore, I encourage you to put an end to the wrong imaginations and stop thinking contrary to the Word of God. By so doing, you will be liberated to live right because you have already been free from sin as a Christian.

Instruction
Invest in the continual renewal of your mind with the Word of God in the area where you are having struggles.

Free from sin

Tuesday, February 23rd
Free from sin.

“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” John 8:10-11

It is knowing you are the righteousness of God that breaks your bad habits. When the woman that was caught in the very act of adultery was brought to Jesus, in John Chapter 8, by the scribes and Pharisees demanding that she should be stoned to death, none of them could condemn her because they were not without sin. Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” When you are free from condemnation, you would be free from sinning.

John 3:16-18 say, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Romans 6:22 says, “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” When you got born again, you were made righteous and became free from condemnation; as a result you were made free from sin. Understanding that Jesus has freed you from sin breaks the power of sin from your life and empowers you to go, and sin no more.

Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I declare according to my faith in the Word of God that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

 For further study, read:
Romans 4:6-8, Romans 6:11-18, Romans 8:1-2.

Doing the Word
Go and sin no more, knowing that Jesus is not condemning you - See Romans 8:33-34.

You are blessed

Monday, February  22nd
You are blessed.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Ephesians 1:3

You are already blessed according to God's Word from our opening scripture today. God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. You have a right to all blessing.

What blessing do you require in your life? Take advantage of it because it is already available to you in Christ. In Christ, none of us is supposed to be smarter than the other because we have the same Christ and the same Holy Spirit in us.

Stop making excuses for mediocrity. Start recognizing the sufficiency of the Holy Spirit in you, affirm it and confess it until your progress is visible to all. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” The wisdom that Joseph, Solomon, the Apostles or anyone in scripture had access to, you have access to in Christ. You also have access to righteousness and sanctification to empower you to live a holy life. You also have access to redemption; the fullness of Christian salvation is all yours in Christ. Recognize it, affirm it and confess it always.

Confession
I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Christ is made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. Amen.

For further study, read:
Galatians 3:8-9, Colossians 1:26-27, 1 Peter 3:9.

Doing the Word
Draw from the reservoir of blessing in you.

You carry the fullness

Sunday, February  21st
You carry the fullness.

“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”
Colossians 1:19

Our opening scripture shows us that everything that God contains is inside of Christ because all fullness is in Him.

Colossians 2:9-10(AMP) say, “For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].” Please make this declaration aloud, “I am full of God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

In John 14:11 Jesus said, “Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: …” So, if Christ is in you according to Colossians 1:27, it means that the Father is also in you. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” This means that the Holy Spirit also lives in you. You are completely filled with the Godhead - the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All of God is inside of you. That means that all His abilities, virtues, anointing, etc. are inside of you. That is why God expects so much from you. You have no excuse for sin or any failure in your life because He has loaded you with Himself.

Confession.
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me of your fullness. I am completely filled with the Godhead - the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All of God is inside of me. All of God's ability, virtues, anointing and grace are at work in my life producing the Godkind of results today. Amen.

For further study, read:
John 1:16, John 3:34, Ephesians 1:18-23.

Doing the Word
Stir up the gift of God in you, praying in the Spirit.

Cheer up!

Saturday, February  20th
Cheer up!

“Consider [it] all joy, my brothers [and sisters], whenever you encounter various trials”
James 1:2(ALT)

Do not feel bad that trouble came. The Bible says for you to consider it all joy. Why? That trouble or trial came to be conquered.
2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” So no matter what comes against you, one of your rights in Christ is to triumph always.

Romans 8:37 says, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” You are more than conquerors over all your challenges; make it your consciousness. Whatever it is that came against you, came to be conquered.

1 Corinthians 15:57 says, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Your victory is sure. Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” He overcame the world for us and He gave us the victory. Cheer up, you have overcome the world.

Confession
Thanks be unto God, who always causes me to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of His knowledge by me in every place. Therefore, no matter the challenges that come my way, I declare that I am more than conquerors through Him that loves me. Amen.

For further study, read:
Romans 8:18, Romans 8:35-37, 1 Peter 4:12-13.

Doing the Word
Fear not! Instead rejoice in the midst of trials.

This is your story...

Friday, February  19th
This is your story …

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Philippians 4:13

Christ in you is sufficient for all that you go through in life. You can handle every challenge that comes your way because Christ is in you. There is power flowing inside you because Christ is in you.

You have enough help in you to handle everything that comes your way because Christ is in you. Christ in you is all the power you need for life and ministry. There is nothing that can outdo Christ in you.

Christ is always with you because He said in Matthew 28:20, “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Since Christ is in you and with you, it means that there is always enough power to handle anything that comes your way. You are not a weakling; you can face anything and come out victoriously.

This is your story: you came, you saw and you conquered. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Confession.
Christ in me is sufficient for all my challenges. I am not a weakling; I can face anything and come out victoriously. This is my story: I came, I saw and I conquered because greater is He that is in me, than He that is in the world. Amen.

For further study, read:
Genesis 39:1-6, Genesis 39:20-23, Psalm 1:1-3.

Doing the Word
Maintain a victorious attitude even in the midst of challenges. It will turn out for your glory.

Called by Grace

Thursday, February  18th
Called by Grace.

“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.”
Galatians 1:15

Our opening scripture shows us that God did not just desire to save you the day you got born again. He has always wanted you saved. He has been trying many times to reach you, though He will not strive with you forever. That's why the Bible says, in Genesis 6:3, “And the LORD said, my spirit shall not always strive with man.” That word strive means, 'umpire'. That means the Holy Spirit will not struggle with you, trying to get you saved forever.

God's call on your life for salvation is based on His grace (Galatians 1:15). The Bible also says in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” This means that, we are saved by grace, not by works.

You might be out there feeling like you have messed up God's plan because of the wrong things you've done in your life. But I want you to know that God is still reaching out to you today with His grace. What is grace? Grace is unmerited favor, a favor you don't deserve. There is nobody on earth God did not call by grace.

Whatever mistake you have made, remember that Jesus already died as payment for that sin. He purposed to use you to do what he wanted to use you to do before you were even born. Knowing you were going to make those mistakes, He made a remedy in his grace. So don't feel bad and say, “Pastor, can God use me? I have smoked and have done so many bad things.” Yes, He can still use you. He knew you were going to do all that before the foundation of the world. That is why He sent His Son to die for you, and also made sure that you are reached with this message today. Praise God.

Prayer of Salvation.
“O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He is the Son of God. I believe that He died for my sins. I believe with all my heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I receive eternal life into my spirit even now. Amen.”

For further study, read:
Romans 3:23-26, Ephesians 2:4-10, Titus 2:11-14.

Doing the Word
Thank the Lord for His mercy and grace towards you.

Know the truth

Wednesday, February  17th
Know the truth.

“They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: …”
Psalm 82:5

When you lack knowledge, you will lack understanding, and when you lack understanding, you will walk in darkness, and when you walk in darkness you are in satan's domain. Satan is the prince of darkness; he rules over darkness. So, because they do not know, and they do not understand, they continue to suffer demonic oppression.

Knowledge is the only key of escape from bondage. In John 8:32 Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The Word of God is truth and truth is the anchor of freedom. John 17:17 says, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” So, if you hate the knowledge of God's Word and the study of the Bible, it means that you love bondage.

You are only as free as you know. So long as you lack knowledge you are bound. This is because the strength of the oppressor is the ignorance of the oppressed. The devil keeps people in captivity through their ignorance of the truth. Therefore the moment you acknowledge the truth, you are delivered from the snare of the devil.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 say, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you grant unto me a deeper passion for your Word. I also ask that you grant me wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the deep and intimate knowledge of you and in spiritual verities, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read: Ephesians 1:13, John 14:16-17, 2 Timothy 2:15.

Doing the Word
Meditate and put to practice the truth you receive from the Word of God.

Acknowledge what is yours

Tuesday, February 16th
Acknowledge what is yours.

“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”
Philemon 1:6

You faith becomes operative, effectual and activated by the recognition and awareness of the good things you have in you in Christ Jesus.

Faith grows with knowledge. The more you know what belongs to you in Christ, the more faith and confidence you will have about life. That is why when God's children that have not been taught begin to find out what belongs to them from God's Word, they are amazed that they would have had a better life if they found the truth earlier.

Is it possible that there are many things God wants you to enjoy that you are not enjoying because you do not know what belongs to you? C.H Spurgeon told a story of a woman he went to visit. She was sick and dying. While he was there in her little house, he saw, on the wall, a plaque from the British royalty who had willed an estate to her with great wealth, but because she could not read, she was dying and eventually died of starvation in poverty. Your ignorance of your rights in Christ would keep  you from the quality of life that God ordained for you to have.

Do not continue to live your life in spiritual illiteracy, because truth is the anchor of freedom; that is why the devil likes you to remain ignorant. Therefore I encourage you to give attention to the study of the Word of God and learning about your inheritance in Christ so that your faith can become effective for the victorious life.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you grant unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Proverbs 3:13-18, Proverbs 24:14, Jeremiah 15:16.

Doing the Word

Your right to victory

Monday February  15th
Your right to victory.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1Corinthians 15:57

Our opening scripture says God “… giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The word giveth is a present continuous tense, which means that no matter the situation you may be going through, you will always have the victory.

Having consistent victory is your right in Christ. There is no challenge that is too difficult that God cannot give you the victory over.

No matter the challenges that are obvious in your earthly family, God allowed you to be born into that family for a reason.  He wants to show case His victorious power through you. So, the family may be struggling, nobody succeeds, and everybody knows it. Now that you have been saved and have become a child of God, even though you were born from that family that nobody succeeds, know that your story has changed. You will begin to see visible success and prosperity because you have been born into a new family where they are always victorious.

Therefore, those who used to know you including your family members will be drawn to this God you serve. That will be the story of your life, in Jesus' Name.

Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the Lord is my chosen and assigned portion. He holds and maintains my lot. Therefore, the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage by my identity in Christ. Amen.

For further study, read:
Romans 8:37, 1 John 4:4, 1 John 5:4-5,

Doing the Word
Thank the Lord who has given you victory over every negative circumstance of life.

No capacity to fail

Sunday, February 14th
No capacity to fail.

“because every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith.”
1 John 5:4(GNB)

Now that you are born again, the capacity to fail has been removed from you. If you are born again, failure is not part of your character. That means whatever you touch as a child of God will succeed.

You have been born with the capacity to win, prevail, defeat, overcome and be victorious over the world as a child of God. You cannot be defeated. There is no failure in you because no child of God is a weakling.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…” God says His strength finds complete expression in weakness. So, when a Christian finds himself in a situation where he seems to be weak, God is saying that in that weakness, His strength will find complete expression through him.

Therefore, stop confessing weakness. Joel 3:10 says, “… let the weak say, I am strong.” So, in spite of the weakness of your flesh, say to yourself, “I know that God through me will overcome these things.”

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am strong, the Word of God abides in me and I have overcome the wicked one. Amen.

The Godline

Saturday, February  13th
The Godline.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
John 1:12-13

Today I will like you to notice from our opening scripture that those who are sons of God have lost their affiliations to their natural birth. The Bible says, “Which were born, not of blood, …” The sons of God have lost the link to the blood of their earthly father. This is because when you were born from your father's blood you received the potentialities and the propensities of your natural father. That is why a child that is born from an artistic family has a tendency to be artistic because it came through the bloodline. But from the day you got born again and became a child of God, you are no longer supposed to judge yourself by what you got from your bloodline anymore but what you got from your Godline.

Therefore as a son of God, you have received the potentialities and the propensities of your Father God. So, do not say, “in our family there is fibroid”, because you have another family, the family of God, and there is no fibroid in that family.

1 John 4:4(WNT) says, “As for you, dear children, you are God's children, and have successfully resisted them; for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am born of God, therefore I overcome the world. By my faith in the Word of God, I have victory over every negative affiliation from my bloodline. Amen.

Doing the Word.
Renounce every weakness from your natural birth and declare the potentialities of your spiritual birth.

Right to sonship

Friday, February 12th
Right to sonship.

“But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]”
John 1:13-14(AMP)

When you received Jesus into your heart and got born again, you received the right to become a child of God. If you are born again you are a child of God by right. In other words, you have access to the inheritance of the children of God.

It does not matter what your earthly parents say concerning your birth. Even if they said they did not want you or that you came by mistake, from the day you are born again, that does not count anymore. What matters from that point is that God wanted you; you have found your true identity in God.

Please say out loud if you believe this, “God wanted me. I have found my true identity in God.” Yes, God wanted you and He knew you even before you were formed in your mother's womb. You came as His choice. See Jeremiah 1:5.

Therefore, the moment you get born again, you are able to receive the legal right to become a son of God. 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 say, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

I encourage you to pray the prayer of salvation below if you want to receive the legal right to become a son or daughter of God.

Amen.”

See your supply

Thursday, February 11th
See your supply.

“… and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.”
Revelation 3:18

There are certain things that are around you that you may not be seeing. This is why I will encourage you to always pray that God will open your eyes to see the opportunities that are around you.

As a child of God whatever you are looking for is never far from you. Your eyes just need to be open to see it. For instance, when Abraham sent away Hagar and her son in Genesis 21, the provision he gave to them was not enough. This is why you must never depend on a human being because human beings run out of supplies. God never intended for anyone to be your source. God is your source, look to Him alone because He never runs out of supplies. In Genesis 21:14, the Bible shows us that Abraham gave them bread and a bottle of water. Genesis 21:15-19 say, “And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.” When you make men your source, they will only give you a bottle, but when you make God your source, He will give you a well.

Instruction.
Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see your opportunities and your supply.

Fear not!

Wednesday, February  10th
Fear not!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Isaiah 41:10

God consciousness is the cure for fear. Every time you find people that have a problem with fear, they are self-conscious. Self conscious people are fearful. Proud people are fearful because a proud man is self-conscious. Keep your mind fixed on the Word of God which will help you to maintain God consciousness.

Meditate on Psalm 91:1-7 which say, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

His Everlasting Love.

Tuesday, February  9th
His Everlasting Love.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

You determine the value of a thing by how much it cost to get it or what was paid for it. Therefore, it is only in Christianity you will be able to understand your true value.

The Buddhist does not know his value so he tries to do good to earn points, so that in his next life he will not be a goat. The Muslim tries to earn good points with God by trying to do good; he believes that, on the last day, God will weigh the good and the bad things he has done, and if the good outweighs the bad, he will go to heaven, and if the bad outweighs the good, he will go to hell. So to earn higher points with God, he chooses to pay for his sins by being a martyr or becoming a suicide bomber.

In Christianity, we do not need to die for our sins because Jesus already died for our sins. It is only Christianity that lets you know that God loves you unconditionally. In spite of all your flaws and your secret faults, He still wants you. One thing you must know is this: God knew you before you were born. He knew your parents, He knew your school, He knew all the mistakes you were going to make, He knew everything, and yet this same God sent His Son to die for you before you were even born. Jesus had already died for your sins before you sinned; that is to show you how much He wanted you. He wanted a relationship with you.

Get to know how much God loves you. He said, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with loving kindness have I drawn you and continued my faithfulness to you” (Jeremiah 31:3 AMP).

He also says to you in Isaiah 44:22 (MSG), “I've wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There's nothing left of your sins. Come back to me, come back. I've redeemed you.” He said He has redeemed you. A price has been paid for you. It is not going to be paid, it has already been paid. All you need to do is respond to the cross, respond to the blood and all your sins will be forgiven and you will become the righteousness of God in Him.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for your unconditional acceptance towards me. I thank you for loving me with an everlasting love and kindness towards me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

John 15:3, 1 John 3:16, 1 John 4:9-10.

Righteousness delivers from death

Righteousness delivers from death.
Monday, February  8th

“Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.”
Proverbs 10:2

Righteousness would deliver you from death. Proverbs 12:28 says, “In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.”

Psalm 23:3 says, “He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” When you understand the doctrine of righteousness, you will know that God leads in the path of righteousness, and in that path there is no death. Therefore as you walk in the way of righteousness, your days are prolonged.

Righteousness breaks the power of death over our lives and gives us eternal life. The Bible says in Romans 5:21, “That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Grace would reign through righteousness until those of us who have received the gift of righteousness are completely swallowed up of life then this our corruptible and mortal body would put on incorruption and immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 say, “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have been ransomed from the power of the grave and have been redeemed from death. Amen.

Isaiah 25:8, Hosea 13:14, Hebrews 2:14-15.

Ransomed from affliction

Sunday,  February 7th
Ransomed from affliction.

“Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.”
Job 33:24

Jesus Christ is our ransom. Therefore the doctrine of righteousness states that because Jesus Christ has died for you and taken your place, God will treat you as though you never sinned. He will bless you as though you never sinned. Jesus took your place to suffer for your sins so that you will not suffer anymore.

Before God found a ransom, the man that was talked about in our opening scripture, which could stand as a type of all men, was suffering affliction. But when the ransom was found and the price was paid, his captivity was turned.

Job 33:19-30(CEV) show us the picture saying, “Sometimes we are punished with a serious illness and aching joints. Merely the thought of our favorite food makes our stomachs sick, and we become so skinny that our bones stick out. We feel death and the grave taking us in their grip. One of a thousand angels then comes to our rescue by saying we are innocent. The angel shows kindness, commanding death to release us, because the price was paid. Our health is restored, we feel young again, and we ask God to accept us. Then we joyfully worship God, and we are rewarded because we are innocent. When that happens, we tell everyone, "I sinned and did wrong, but God forgave me and rescued me from death! Now I will see the light." God gives each of us chance after chance to be saved from death and brought into the light that gives life.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for the redemptive work of Jesus Christ that has made me free from the consequences of my sins and liberated me from death and all captivity. Thank you for your grace that has delivered me from hell and brought me into the light of life in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Function in righteousness

Saturday, February  6th
Function in righteousness.

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.”
Isaiah 54:14

Understanding the doctrine of righteousness would free you from every form of oppression. Some Christians are constantly being oppressed because they do not understand the doctrine of righteousness.

Jesus already took your place and suffered for your sins so that you will not suffer any oppression anymore. Righteousness would keep you in health because sickness is an oppression of the devil. Now that you are the righteousness of God, you should be far from oppression; demons have no right to oppress you.

The consciousness that you are the righteousness of God should deliver you from all fear. When you understand the doctrine of righteousness, you would lose all your fears. There are Christians who are always afraid at night. There are others who are always afraid when travelling. It ought not to be so. Now that you are the righteousness of God, you are exempted from all evil; it shall not come near you.

Proverbs 28:1 says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” This is your heritage as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am the righteousness of God. Therefore I declare that I am far from oppression. I am delivered from fear and terror. No evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling. I am safe at all times. Amen.

Established in righteousness

Friday, February  5th
Established in righteousness.

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: …”
Isaiah 54:14

The Christian that does not understand the doctrine of righteousness would not be established because the Bible says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: …”

I read a story of a particular woman of God who, in her earlier days, wanted to be righteous in the sight of God. So, in trying to be righteous, she will stick pins in her body to disfigure it so that she will look ugly. She thought that, maybe, God will look at her,  feel sorry for her and accept her. Do you know that there are many who still think that God will accept them because of their suffering? So they inflict punishment on themselves because of the sins of their past so that God can look on them and feel pity for them and accept them.

God does not accept us because of our suffering; He accepts us because of the suffering of Jesus Christ. Jesus already suffered for all our sins. Isaiah 53:4-6 say, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” You do not need to pay any longer for your sins; Jesus Christ paid it all. Surrender to Him, and receive by faith His salvation and righteousness. He became sin for you that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus I lay aside all inferiority and condemnation of the devil because Jesus already suffered for me. He was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with his stripes I am healed and completely made whole: spirit, soul and body. I am already accepted in the Beloved. Amen.

For further study, read:
Isaiah 61:10-11, 2 Timothy 2:1, Hebrews 13:9.

Doing the Word
Stop trying to pay for your sins; Jesus already paid.

Righteousness is a gift

Thursday, February  4th
Righteousness is a gift.

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”
Romans 3:24

Today, I will like you to know that righteousness is a free gift. We are justified freely by His grace. Therefore we can say that righteousness is a gift of grace.

Romans 5:15-19 say, “But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

One of the reasons why the enemy is fighting the subject of righteousness by grace is because he knows that until you know that you are righteous you cannot live right. When you are righteous, you are not only delivered from guilt, you are delivered from the power of sin.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for your grace that has brought me salvation and righteousness through faith; I acknowledge that it is not by my effort: it is Your gift. I am your workmanship, born again in Christ Jesus and empowered to do those good works, which you planned beforehand that I should walk in them. My life will always be lived for your praise and glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Acts 15:1-11, Ephesians 2:1-10, Titus 3:5-7.

Doing the Word
Thank the Father for the gift of righteousnesss.

Righteousness by faith

Wednesday, February 3rd
Righteousness by faith.

“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” Galatians 3:11

In the New Testament, you cannot be justified by the law in the sight of God; you are righteous by faith. Hebrews 11:6a says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: …”

Even in the Old Testament no one could be made righteous in the sight of God by the deeds of the law, because the rituals and sacrifices of animals could not wash away their sins. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:1-3(CEV), “The Law of Moses is like a shadow of the good things to come. This shadow isn't the good things themselves, because it cannot free people from sin by the sacrifices that are offered year after year. If there were worshipers who already have their sins washed away and their consciences made clear, there would not be any need to go on offering sacrifices. But the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins. It only reminds people of their sins from one year to the next.”

Seeing that the law does not make anyone righteous, why then do you seek to be made righteous by the law? Galatians 5:4(AMP) says, “If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing).”

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for the washing away of sins. By my faith in the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for me, I believe that all my sins have been washed away. Thank you Father for the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost that has freed me from all guilt and condemnation, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The purpose of the law

Tuesday, February  2nd
The purpose of the law.

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.”
Romans 3:19

Our opening scripture makes it clear to us that the law was given so that men may know their guilt. The law was given for a revelation of sin.

For instance, there are some countries where it is against their law for anyone to smoke in public places; you would be arrested if you do.  But in countries where such laws do not exist, no one will be guilty for smoking in public places. So, the law is given to reveal what is wrong.

1 John 3:4 says, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”

Romans 3:20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” From this verse we see that, the purpose of the law was not to make anyone righteous or justified but  to make us know what sin is and to make us guilty before God, thereby showing us our need for the Saviour Jesus Christ.

Therefore the way to righteousness is not by the deeds of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 3:21-22 says, “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare by my faith that I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work for my salvation. I declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am free from the law of sin and death. Amen.

The Gospel of Christ

Monday, February 1st 2016:

The gospel of Christ.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-17

The gospel is the power of God. The gospel means good news. Therefore, wherever we preach good news we will see the power of God manifested. That means God's Word unlocks God's power. Another important truth you need to know about the gospel is that, the gospel will work for everyone that believes it. The gospel is no respecter of persons; it will work for the Jew as well as the Greek who believes it.

Our opening scripture also shows us that the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel. Before the gospel of Christ was preached, the Jews were the only ones privileged to be blessed, and the Gentiles did not have the blessing on them. The Jews were blessed because they had the law of God and as long as they obeyed the law, they were blessed. The Gentiles did not have the law of God; instead they had idols, so they were under the curse.

Therefore, now that the gospel of Christ has come, all men have been given equal opportunity before God and the right to access the blessing through the righteousness of faith in Jesus Christ, both Jews and Gentiles.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I release my faith in the gospel of Christ. I believe in the power of the gospel to produce the fruits of salvation and the effect of righteousness in my life. I am blessed by reason of my identification with Jesus Christ. Amen.
