Jesus response to faith.

“… My daughter is about to die! Please come and touch her, so she will get well and live. Jesus went with Jairus. Many people followed along and kept crowding around.”
Mark 5:23-24(CEV)

From our opening scripture, you will notice that one of the reasons Jesus followed Jairus is because the man had faith. This means that Jesus responds to faith.

If you study through the word, you will find out that every one that was healed by Jesus, got their healing as a response from their faith in Him. In Matthew 9:27-30, “Two blind men came to Jesus desiring to be healed by Him. He asked them, “Do you believe am able to do this? Yes Lord they answered and He touched them.” Know for sure that God wants to heal you. The word of God already says in 3 John 2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” The question really is, “do you have faith in His willingness and in His ability to heal you?”

For some people, it is after they have tried every other thing and could not be cured, that is when they remember or hear about Jesus. They are like the woman with the issue of blood. The bible tells us about her in Mark 5:25, “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.”

Under the Jewish law, when a woman is in her cyclic period, she is unclean. Worse still, if she is hemorrhaging, she shouldn’t touch anybody. Now, for her to come out in her uncleanness and begin to make everybody else unclean, she should be stoned to death. So, why was she willing to take such a risk? Her faith was in operation. She knows she was going to be healed. So, in faith she set a time for her healing. She said, if I should touch the hem of His garment I shall be made whole. She decided the way she would be healed by her faith. So, the moment she touched Him, she was healed. You can do the same today if you desire to be healed and you will get the same results because God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34).

PRAYER
Father, I acknowledge that your Power is always available for my good. Today, I release my faith in your willingness to make me whole I every area of my life. I receive wholeness in Jesus Name. Amen.

Mark 5:34-43.

DOING THE WORD
Act out your faith and go ahead and do what you could not do before.

Taking God at His Word.

“The person in charge of the Jewish meeting place was also there. His name was Jairus, and when he saw Jesus, he went over to him. He knelt at Jesus' feet and started begging him for help. He said, "My daughter is about to die! Please come and touch her, so she will get well and live."”              Mark 5:22-23(CEV).

We see from our opening scripture, that Jairus had faith in Jesus. He was certain, without any doubt, that if Jesus would come and lay His hands on His daughter, she shall be healed. That is faith. He didn’t say, “Come and try and let’s see if she would be healed.” He said come and touch her, so she will get well. So, faith works with positive expectation. If you are really in faith, you would always be expecting something good to happen.

For example, let’s say your wife told you she is pregnant, you didn’t need to see the baby to believe. That pregnancy test report becomes an evidence of something not seen. The same thing applies to the life of faith. The word of God is our evidence. It is the evidence of what we do not see. So, if God’s Word says something to you, refuse to doubt. Do not double. To doubt is to double. It also means to weaver between two opinions. When you are that way, do not think that you will receive anything of the Lord. (James 1:6-7)

There are things that you believed for, that you didn’t receive because you doubted. Doubt is an enemy. It will short circuit the power of God and the effect of the word of God in your life. The bible says in Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” So, when you make your confessions, don’t go back on them. Hold on to it inspite of contrary evidence. Your true evidence is the word of God.

CONFESSION
The Word of God is my evidence that what I do not see is real. Because I have the Spirit of faith, I call things which be not as though they were. Therefore, I declare that I am prosperous, I live in health, the blessing of the Lord is evident and heavy upon my life. I am a soul winner. I have good success. I am a giver. I am blessed to be a blessing until all the families of the earth is blessed.

Hebrews 3:6, 14 Hebrews 4:14, I Thessalonians 5:24.

DOING THE WORD
If God says it, I believe it and that settles it.

Faith speaks.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”
2 Corinthians 4:13.

From our opening scripture, we see that faith speaks. Faith has a voice. In other words, your faith can be heard from what you say. So by just hearing someone speak, you can be able to tell whether they had faith or not. If someone says, “I really believed that God was going to do it, but I don’t know why He didn’t do it eventually.” His words show he didn’t believe. Because if he believed, he will not say he didn’t know why God did not do it.

Believing is not trying God; a lot of people are trying God. The only time God permits us to try Him is in money matters. Malachi 3:10(CEV) says, “I am the LORD All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessing after blessing.”

So, how do I get my faith to work? You start by getting the word into your spirit. You do that by hearing the word and listening to the message. The bible says in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” In other words, what we hear repeatedly, we will eventually believe. That is, “What I keep on hearing, I will become convinced about.” You don’t believe something because it is true; you believed it because you kept hearing it over and over again.

Another reason why you believe is because you have faith in the integrity of the speaker. For instance, if they had taught you in school that the earth was flat, you would have believed it. Why? Because you had faith in your teacher. Whatever they taught you was right. Now that you are born again, you must receive the word of God in the same way, having faith in the integrity of the word of God. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

So, keep on hearing the word of God, let it get into your system richly. The bible says in Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly …” when you are full of the word of God like that, it won’t be long before it will begin to come out of your mouth. Matthew 12:34 “… for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” So, fill yourself with the word of God, and keep making your confessions. As you do, your life will be always fruitful and productive. Filled with all good things.

CONFESSION
I declare that I am fruitful and productive in every good work because the Word of God is dominating me. The Word of God is renewing my mind, it is transforming my inward man and I am been changed into the image that I see in the Word.

Romans 10:8-10, Deuteronomy 30:14

Do you really believe?

“And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.”
Matthew 9:27

That is the way some people pray. “Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, have mercy on us.” “Oh Father, have mercy on us, oh Father, have mercy on us, open the door.” The blind men in our opening scripture were following Jesus crying “… have mercy on us.” Yet they did not receive their sight. You may be going through a lot right now, but if all you are doing is to cry out to God saying, “Oh God have mercy on me.” It would not change anything.

Matthew 9:28 says, “And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?” Jesus asked them a question, do you believe am able to do this?

One of the words for mercy in the Hebrew means, to step down to show kindness to an inferior. Jesus asked them, do you believe am able to do this. Be sincere with yourself, do you believe you can live in that house you’re praying for? Do you believe that God is willing to do it for you?

“…They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:28-29. He did not say according (equivalent) to my power, but He told them according to your faith. This means that you receive from God according to your faith. The reason you don’t have it, is not because God does not want you to have it. The issue is that you don’t understand how faith works. Jesus touched their eyes, but they received according to their faith. Do you want a touch from God, do you want God to touch your business, and do you want God to touch your child? His touch is right where you want it right now. But, your receiving is up to you. He says, “According to your faith be it unto you.”

CONFESSION
I believe I receive all that God has freely given to me in Christ, according to His Power that is at work in me. I declare that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

2 Chronicles 20:20, Mark 9:23, Mark 11:23.

Great Faith 2.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

God is saying that a life of intimacy with me is impossible without faith. Your walk of faith today reveals what your future is going to look like. I can predict your future by looking at your faith. If I talk with you, I can predict your future. A lot of people wonder why their lives are not going the way they thought it should go. Your life will only go the way you said it should go, because it is in your mouth. The bible says in Proverbs 18:21 that, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Learn to put the word of God in your mouth, by talking the word of God all the time. The Word of God is life. Jesus said in John 6:63, “… the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Therefore, God’s word has the ability to give life to whatever situation you direct it to. Do you know that the word of God directed to a sick person can heal that person? This is why the centurion that came to Jesus, whose servant was sick, told Jesus, “… speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8. Then Jesus spoke the word and the centurion’s servant was healed that same hour. But Jesus could have gone to the centurion’s house, and it would have taken a longer time to heal the man. This means that faith gives speed. So, what is that situation that is giving you challenges, use the word and go to rest.

Have you come to that point where the word only is enough for you? The Roman Centurion had faith in the words of Jesus. He took Jesus at His word, and the servant was healed that selfsame hour. That is great faith! Great faith takes God at His word. Great faith says, “Has God said it? I believe it, and I count it done in my life. That’s Great Faith!

CONFESSION
I believe and therefore have I spoken. I declare that my path is the path of the Just, and it is shining more and more unto the perfect day. I do not get sick. I do not fail. There is no disadvantage in my life because the Word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Amen.

Proverbs 12:18, Proverbs 15:4, Proverbs 16:24.

Great faith

“When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”
Matthew 8:10

Great faith is believing and accepting the word of God as superior evidence to your circumstances. You are operating in great faith when everything looks terrible and you still believe the word of God, you still confess the word of God. You are still found standing on the word of God. That is great faith!

“And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.”  Matthew 8:13. God’s power will not benefit you without your faith been put to work. Faith is what allows God’s power to manifest for your benefit.

What do you want to be in your life? What do you to want to see happen in your life? Jesus said, “… as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” So, until you believe it, it is not going to happen. For instance, God wants the whole world to be saved, but they’re not going to be saved until they believe in Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord. That is when they are going to be saved. Without doing that, they cannot be saved.

So, God may have good intentions and plans for you. But, until you believe those intentions, confess those intentions, and act in line with those intentions, you will not see God’s blessing in manifestation in your life.

CONFESSION
No matter what comes against my faith, I will not be moved, because I am founded on the Word of God. God’s Word is Yes and Amen in my life today and always. Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:20, 2 Peter 1:3, Mark 5:28-34.

DOING THE WORD
Discipline yourself to always make confessions that are in line with God’s will for you.

Faith is based on the Word of God.

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.”
Matthew 8:8

When you want to operate in consistent faith, you must live by the word of God and not your feelings. If you are basing your faith on your feelings, your Christian life will be unfulfilling and difficult. Faith is not based on feeling, faith is not based on your physical circumstances, neither is faith based on sight. That is why the bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” Therefore, faith is only based on the word of God and not on any sensory evidence.

So, whatever God has said to me in His word is what is real to me. It does it matter what I see, feel or even hear, all those are subject to change through my faith in the word of God, because the word of God has creative ability. So, if you are faced with challenging circumstances, do like the Apostle Paul who said in 2 Corinthians 4:18, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

What are those eternal things that we are to fix our attention on? The word of God. Jesus said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” In Isaiah 40:8 (BBE), the bible says, “The grass is dry, the flower is dead; but the word of our God is eternal.” So, fix your attention on the word of God. What has God said concerning your health, your finances, your future, your children, let that be your final authority and the foundation upon which you base your life.

The Roman centurion in our opening scripture said, “… speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Truly the Word is all that you need to be a success in every area of your life. In the realm of faith, the word is enough.

CONFESSION
The word of God is my life. I live by the word of God. Whatever the word says is what is final authority in my life. I declare that I am strong, the Word of God abides in me and I have overcome the wicked one. Amen.

Hebrews 11:1, Romans 10:17, Isaiah 46:10.

DOING THE WORD
Don’t ever base your faith on any physical evidence. Base your faith only on the word of God.

The righteousness of faith.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
Acts 20:32.

God builds your life with His word. The word of God is a divine transporter. That is why Paul the Apostle said in our opening scripture, “I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Develop your relationship with the word of God because, if you do not have a relationship with the word of God, you will be frustrated in life. Building your life on the word of God is building your life on the sure foundation of faith. Why is this important?

The bible says in Romans 4:13, For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. So, if you are going to be a partaker of God’s promise to Abraham, it is going to have to be by the righteousness of faith. That faith is what stirs up the Abrahamic blessing and causes it to function in your life. That blessing carries in it greatness, prosperity, unusual favor, dominion, abundance and increase in the superlative with it. So, when you begin to function in this blessing through the righteousness of faith, it will bring you into your rest.

Faith is rest. You can never enjoy more favor beyond the level of your faith. Neither can you enjoy prosperity or any of these blessings beyond the level of your faith. The measure of favor, prosperity, greatness, etc. you enjoy is equivalent to the measure of your faith.
Your faith is the key; your faith is the currency with which you make withdrawals in the kingdom of God. So, growing your faith and nurturing you faith by putting it to work should be your priority if you want to live in God’s rest.

PRAYER
Father, as I commit to developing my faith, may my heart always be good ground for your word, such that the word will produce a hundred fold harvest in me. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 13:2, Genesis 17:6, Genesis 22:17-18, Hebrews 4:3.

DOING THE WORD
The quality of your faith reveals the quality of your life. So, grow your faith.

How shall this be?

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?"
Luke 1:34.

Just like Mary in our opening scripture, we always want to figure out our miracle. So we ask; how shall this be?

When God spoke to me about us having a radio and the TV station. I used to think in my mind; How shall this be? Seeing that I don't understand television. Until it dawned on me that when God called Paul Crouch (the owner of TBN), he had no idea of television.

How shall this be? This is the question in the mouths of many today. Some are wondering, how are they going to pay their school fees? How are they going to pay their rents? Luke 1:35,37 gives us the answer, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. For with God nothing shall be impossible."

God is your how. So you may ask, how am I going to pay my school fees? God is your how. He will provide the money or He can make it possible for you to get a scholarship. In your life be rest assured that with God, nothing shall be impossible. This is because when God speaks, His words will not be void of power; His words must surely come to pass. Because God is committed to bringing His Word to pass. The bible lets us know that, He watches over His word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

God knows how to get the supplies you need to you. He has a thousand and one ways to get it to you. God told Kenneth Copeland to get on radio, and he was thinking, how are my going to get on radio. Their ministry was very small, the crowd wasn't much. So, He said Lord, you have to give me a sign, and the Lord said, you don't need a sign, just believe my word. But he kept on arguing with it, until one day, they got a call from a Man of God in America, more popular than he is. The man asked, “God told you to get on radio right? He answered, yes sir! He continued, but you have not gotten on radio ever since, he replied, yes sir! Then the man said, I want you to meet me on Monday, I want to connect you to twenty stations, and you will be getting on air. That was how he got on twenty stations from one phone call.

God is your how. Stop thinking and wondering in your mind, 'Is God that big?' Yes, he is that big! And He wants to show Himself strong in your life if you would only believe.

CONFESSION
Lord I believe your word to me above all else. I declare that nothing shall be impossible unto me, because I believe with all my heart that you are committed to bringing your word to pass in my life. Amen.

Refuse to fear.

"For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”
 Job 3:25

From our opening scripture we can see that fear is an enemy to faith. Fear is what opens our lives up to the enemy. Imagine Job saying, “And my worst fears have all come true.” Job 3:25 (CEV). What is fear? Fear is confidence in the enemy's power to harm you.

Job went on to say in verse 25 of Job 3 that, “I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came." All the while he was protected, yet because of his fear, he broke the hedge of protection around him.

I want you to see the testimony of satan about Job in Job 1:9, "Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side...?"  If only job knew how protected he was, he would not have been living his life in fear. Same thing with you, if you could only see into the realm of the spirit and see God’s hedge over you and your family, you would stop been afraid. God’s hedge is all around you. So, stop the fear, stop the worry, and stop imagining evil happening to you or around you. Stop making the wrong confessions, because you are fully protected by God Himself. Those wrong imaginations are satan’s tool to keep you in bondage to fear, which breaks God’s hedge over your life.

Observe carefully again Job 3:26, Job said, "I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came." Job was restless. He said he was not quiet; that means he was saying it all the time. And his words came to pass. What do you see? What do you say? If they are the wrong words, you had better change it, otherwise they would come to pass.

PRAYER
Father, I thank you because I know that I am fully protected by you from all evil and attacks of the enemy against my life. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Proverbs 18:21, Deuteronomy 30:19, Proverbs 12:28.

DOING THE WORD
Be conscious of the fact that your words are not mere words, but they are a prophecy of your future.

Your angels are on assignment.

"Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words."
 Daniel 10:12.

Our opening scripture lets us know that the moment we pray, God hears us and the answer is dispatched from Him immediately. So, when you pray, God dispatches angels with the answers to your prayer.

Luke 1:26 says" And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women." That is the way God sees you as well. He sees you as one who is highly favored, and greatly beloved of God.

You are greatly beloved means you are the focus of God's love, which means that, God is mindful of you to bless you. Let’s say you came out of a bank, with N100, 000. And now you stood on the side of the road, and you saw a guy just looking at you. By instinct, you will hold your hand bag tighter. What will come to your mind is that this is a thief. Only for him to walk up to you and then calls your name. Then, you discover it was someone you knew but did not recognize anymore. He offers to give you a drop home and then gives you N50, 000.

You never expected that because, most of us are more expectant of evil than of good happening to us. God is bigger than your mind. So, when you pray, stop wondering how it will ever come to pass. Your answer has already been dispatched. Be expectant because it is right at the door. Your angels are on assignment.

PRAYER
I banish all fear and doubt from my heart today. I expect favor, unexpected income, promotion, increase and the right persons to come my way today. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Psalm 23:1-6, Psalm 91:1-16, 2 Kings 6:11-17.

DOING THE WORD
Cheer up! Don’t worry. Just give commands to your angels and they will go to work on your behalf.

Act out your faith.

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”            James 2:17

Our opening scripture lets us know that faith does not just end with believing alone. There must be corresponding actions to your faith. If you believe what the word says, then you must act according to what you believe in the word about you or any other area of your life you may be dealing with. That is why the Good News Bible puts James 2:17 this way; “So it is with faith: if it is alone and includes no actions, then it is dead.”

Let me explain this using the story about Jessie Duplantis. He needed to raise about 500,000 dollars. So, he saved some money, but the money was not enough. But there was a church that was building close to him, then, God told him to give the money to that church. And he obeyed and gave the church the money for the completion of their building. Because of that act of faith, that same week, Paul Crouch, the owner of TBN, called him and said, “We are going to get you on TBN for free for the next five years.”

That is how faith works. There must be corresponding action. That corresponding action, obligates God to perform. Jessie Duplantis also talked about a time when he and his wife was always wearing old clothes because that was all they had. His family members were mocking them, saying that they did not understand their kind of Christianity. So, they began saving money so they could buy clothes. After some time, God told him to give the money they have been saving for clothes away. Some of us would have been reluctant to do it. But Jessie gave it away. Why did God require that of him? Because God wants him to know that He is the Lord of the harvest.

This has also happened to me as well. At one time in my life, I was believing God to move to the next level of increase, then God said, gather all your clothes, the best ones, and give them to people. I did. And the harvest came. Today, I give out suites. Have faith in God. Not faith in your human ability and schemes. Not faith in your salary; I believe that is why God demands the first fruit of our increase (Proverbs 3:9). He wants to be the Lord of your harvest. He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. So, don’t stop putting your faith to work because your miracle is closer than you think. Be expectant.

PRAYER
Father, my heart is open to hear what you demand of me to do in other for me to move unto the next level of increase I my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.

James 2:26, 2 Peter 1:5-9, Genesis 22:1-18.

DOING THE WORD

Don’t give up.

“Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit.”
Luke 18:1 (MSG)

From our opening scripture, it is made clear to you that God does not want you to quit. In other words, God does not want you to give up, or be discouraged in your life. If you pray, and you do not see a physical manifestation immediately, what should you do? For some others, that is the time to give up. But no! Don’t give up. Hang in there, refuse to quit.

The Bible says, "If you faint not, you shall recieve in due season" (Galatians 6:9). There is a due season for you. God might have spoken to you, but when you look at your life, you may not have seen the manifestation physically. Don’t give up. His word to you shall be fulfilled in their season.

Many years ago, God told us to get on TV. In obedience, I went to negotiate with NTA. When I was told the amount, I wondered in my mind when we are ever going to get such an amount to pay for our TV broadcast. I was getting myself under pressure. No, when God tells you to do something, don’t get yourself under pressure. You are not the one that brings the word to pass. Your part is to do the believing. And there shall be a performance of that which has been spoken to you of the Lord.

I remember the story of Jessie Duplantis who needed some money because he wanted to get on TV, he said, “even the devil did not believe I will get on TV.” At that time he could not even pay for fuel to fill his car's fuel tank, so you can imagine God telling that kind of man, he was going get on TV. One day, he was walking out of a place and a woman walked up to him and said, “Brother Jessie, please take this.” And the woman gave him something in his hand, he thought it was a 10 dollar note, he never knew it was a cheque for 25,000 dollars. So, when he got into the vehicle on his way home, he opened the cheque, and found out it was a cheque of 25,000 dollars, and he was shocked. It happened just like that, because he refused to give up on his faith. Your best is yet to come, so don’t give up too soon.

PRAYER
Father, I thank you for I know you make all things beautiful in your time, therefore I refuse to worry over anything. But I cast all my cares on you because I know that you care for me. Thank you Father because I know you are bringing holy surprises my way today. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Prayer activates angels.

"And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,"
Luke 1:26.

I want you to notice here that God sends angels in answer to prayer.

Daniel 9:21-23 says, "Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth...,"

As soon as the man started praying, God spoke. (Daniel 9:2-3). So, as Daniel brought the word back to God, God released an angel. That means when we pray with faith in God, God responds by sending an angel "...and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision." (Daniel 9:23)

Are you aware that you are greatly loved by God? Knowing this will give you confidence in prayer. A lot of times, why we are not confident in prayer is because we are not convinced we are greatly loved by God. And if Satan can convince you that you are not loved by God, not very long you will doubt everything.

In Daniel 10:11, we see that an angel was dispatched to Daniel as a result of his prayer. So, anytime you are praying, an angel is dispatched. When the angel came to Daniel, in answer to his prayer, he said,"… O Daniel, a man greatly beloved" Do you know that God loves you in the same way, and He enjoys answering your prayer? In Ephesians 1:6, the bible lets you know that you have been accepted in the beloved. Therefore, because you are the beloved of God, you are always safe. Because you are beloved of the Lord, you know that all things will certainly work together for your good. Therefore, remain conscious of God’s love and know that as you pray, angels are assigned to work things out for your well being.

PRAYER
Father, I thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for always answering my prayers always. I know that all things are working together for my good even as ministering spirits are assigned even now to meet my every demand. In Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Be conscious of the ministry of angels around you. Start using your angels. They are there to minister to you.

No more unbelief

"But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John."
Luke 1:13.

You would expect that such a message in our opening scripture from an angel to any believing Christian should be received with faith and joy, but not with Zacharias.

Luke 1:18, tells us about his response, "And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years." This is always the issue sometimes, you are going to see situations that will want to make you give up, give in, and quit. But you have to hold on to the word of God. The bible says in 1 Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

Zacharias unbelief brought him dumbness. The angel rebuked him for his unbelief and said to him, “And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season." Luke 1:20.

So, we see here that God wants us to control our tongue, if we are going to see His promised word come to pass in our lives. The prayer may have been heard, but if you speak negative, what you prayed for will never be manifested. So, the reason for the delay in many things you believe for is your words, what you are saying. Because true faith is revealed in our conversation. So, we must learn to listen to ourselves when we speak, it's not just the high moment of faith that is required, your daily confession also counts.

What you say every day largely determines the fulfillment of God’s word in your life. This is why Satan will put you under so much pressure so you could speak negatively, because he knows God will bring your words to pass.

PRAYER
Father, I ask that I be strengthened by your Spirit to always do and say that which I should always do and say. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Genesis 18:10-15, Proverbs 18:21, James 3:5-10.

DOING THE WORD
Hold on to your faith in God’s word because there is nothing too hard for Him to do.

Don’t quit your believing.

"Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away."
Matthew 21:18-19.

I want to bring something to your notice that affects us most times in our faith work, which is declaring something sometimes and not seeing the result immediately. The fact that you did not see the result immediately after you spoke, does not mean you should quit and begin to nullify what you have already declared before. In the realm of the spirit a change has already occurred because of your declaration. So, it shall come to pass.

Notice what Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 21:20-21, "And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done." So, your words are coming to pass because of faith. It is important you know this because; some persons get into the notion of thinking that their words are not coming to pass because they are not Pastors, or Evangelist, or an Apostle. No! The word comes to pass because of faith.

Jesus goes on to say in verse 22 of Matthew chapter 21, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." This means no believing, no receiving. The reason why many of us have not received what we asked for is because we don't believe. This is why the angel said to Mary in Luke 1:45, “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” So, God’s word to you today is this, “… And as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” Matthew 8:13.

CONFESSION
I am a believer and not a doubter. The word of God is final authority in my life. My words are coming to pass. Good is coming to me. All the benefits that God has for me are coming towards me by free course today. My life is easy; all things are working together for my good. I am enjoying God’s favor every day of my life. Amen.

Romans 4:17-21, 2 Kings 7:1-20, 1Corinthians 16:13, Ephesians 6:10.

DOING THE WORD
The time of prayer is the time of receiving. When you pray today, believe that you receive and don’t change from your confession.

Have Faith in God

"And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it."
Mark 11:12-14. (KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see Jesus speaking to a tree. This reveals to us that everything that God created responds to words because they were made by words.

In verse 20 of Mark chapter 11, the bible says, "And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots." This makes me remembered what the Lord said to me many years ago when I was studying along this context. He said, "You can kill anything from the root by your words." Why is it so? It is because most of the challenges we go through are actually created by words. So, if you are going to deal with the root issue, we must change our words.

In Mark 11:21 the bible says, "And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away." This shows us the power of words whether positive or negative. In the scripture above, Jesus had spoken a curse word the previous day to that tree, and it came to pass even as He said.  What is a curse? A curse is a negative statement. Whenever, you speak a negative word, you are speaking a curse, and whenever you are speaking productive words in line with the Word of God, you are blessing. Every one of these words spoken by you; directed to any circumstance or thing at any given time has the potential of coming to pass, if you believe.

The bible says in Mark 11:22, "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God." Do you have faith in God? To have faith in God is to have confidence in God. In other words, you are not going to have faith until you know God. Our focus most of the time is to have faith in faith, but the Bible doesn't say have faith in faith, it says "... have faith in God."

PRAYER
Father, my faith is in you and in your Word alone. Thank you for making my words potent with power to produce what they talk about. In Jesus Name. Amen.

 John 4:48-50, 1Kings 17:13-15, Mark 7:29-30.

DOING THE WORD
Call forth what you want to see and it will come. Curse what you don’t want and it will die.

You have what you say.

"...For verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."  Matthew 17:20.

What I say reveals the level of my faith. Your confession is always an indication of the level of your faith. What you are saying reveals what you believe. You speak what you believe. The Bible says, "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." Matthew 12:34. So, every time you open your mouth, you are saying what you believe. You are saying what you believe about yourself, what you believe about your future, what you believe about your capabilities, what you believe about your finances. And don't forget, the Bible says in Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

In other words, there is nobody stopping your progress, but your words. When you said you couldn't do it, you lost the ability to do it. Why? Because you have whatsoever you say. But when you say you will get it, you got the ability to get it. Why? This is the victory that overcomes the word even our faith. (1 John 5:4)

The word victory is the word 'nike.' It means, ‘the means of victory,’ ‘the instrument of victory.’ So, now you can live a life for victory. Victory in your health, victory in your finances, victory in your marriage, victory in raising your children, victory in every area of your life! Always remember that you have been called into a life of victory. Maintain your faith and always make sure that your confessions are always in agreement with your faith. So, instead of focusing on the problem, just feed your faith. Then with your words you can change the situation.

CONFESSION
I have victory in Christ. My words are filled with God’s ability to produce what they talk about. Therefore, I speak peace into every area of my life, and I declare that it is well with me and all that has to do with me. God’s ability is at work in me, energizing me to make supernatural progress, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Mark 9:23, 2 Chronicles 20:20, Psalm 62:8, John 14:1

DOING THE WORD
Feed your faith by hearing the word over and over again.

Do you believe the Word of God?

“So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”  Hebrews 3:19.

The word ‘unbelief’ in our opening scripture is from the Greek word 'apistia.' Apistia means faithlessness or disbelief. So you see that the reason certain Christians are not able to enter into God’s rest in different areas of their lives is because of their unbelief and faithlessness. It   is not because the devil is strong.

The reason many Christians are not getting results in their lives is because they do not believe the word of God, neither are the acting on the word of God. For instance, you get to your friend's house and he says, his brother is beginning to lose his mind. Seeing and hearing that will cause the average Christian to run away. Why? Because he has no faith. Yet the Bible tells us that even the devils are subject unto us. (Luke 10:17) That means that the devil in that guy is subject to you, but because you have not been hearing the word, you have no faith, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17).

When the word of God gets into your spirit, you would not only believe it, you would act upon it. Faith is believing and acting on the word of God. So, you have not heard the word, believed and accepted the word, until you’ve acted on it.

I remembered one time I was standing on a street and a mad man was coming. I wanted to cross over because of the mad man, but the Spirit of God said to me, “No, you don't, he will have to cross over for you.” And while we were standing there, the brother beside me was a little nervous. But the mad man walked towards us, looked at me, turned, crossed the road and passed through the other side.

That is the Spirit of dominion at work. I believed the word, stood my ground in confidence, and the devils were subject. It should be the same thing for you, your response to God’s word should always be this; “If God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.”

CONFESSION
The word of God is my life. I believe what the word of God says concerning me above all contrary evidence. The Spirit of dominion is at work in me, for greater is He that is in me than He that is in the word. All devils are my subject, because I have been given authority in Christ trample over all the power of the devil, and nothing shall by any means hurt me.

1 John 4:4, Luke 9:1, Luke 10:17, 1 John 5:4-5.

DOING THE WORD
Listen to your confessions and always see to that you are acting accordingly. If you are not acting accordingly, it means you are not walking by faith.
