Humility 3.

“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
 Matthew 3:16-17(KJV).

From our opening scripture, we notice that after Jesus submitted Himself to the baptism of John, the Heaven’s was opened unto Him, and God publicly declared Jesus to be His Son. Jesus also got a fresh out pouring of the Holy Spirit upon His life that day. All these happened as a result of Him choosing the path of humility. So, walking in humility as a child of God is for your own benefit.
Think for a moment and ask yourself what would have happened if Jesus had decided not to be baptized by John. He would have traded God’s plan because of pride. Today a lot of believers have traded their destinies without knowing just because of their refusal to submit to God’s plan for their lives.
Imagine Jesus; God in the flesh submitting to John’s baptism. And the bible says, the heavens were opened unto Him. If you want to see unusual favor in your life, you’ve got to be humble. If you want to live under an open heaven, you’ve also got to be humble. Cultivate the right attitude; for that is the way you are going to see great success in your life. Do not go in the way of pride, the bible says in Proverbs 16:18 that, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

CONFESSION
Lord I offer my life to you, all that I am, all that I have, all that I have done and accomplished, all the titles that men have given to me and all the awards I have won. I lay them down before you and I declare that, “I am what I am today by the Grace of God.” May all the praise and glory, be to your Name. Amen.

Proverbs 11:12, 1 Timothy 3:6, 1Corinthians 15:8-10

DOING THE WORD
Serve in humility and trust in God’s grace for your promotion at the appointed time.

Humility 2.

“And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them”
Luke 2:51(KJV).

From our opening scripture, we see that in the life of Jesus even as He grew from a child, He exhibited the character of humility in His life, by submitting to God’s program. The bible says in Luke 2:51 that Jesus was subject to His parents. The word ‘subject’ in that scripture is from the Greek word ‘hupotasso.’ This means; “to submit to the control of someone, to subject oneself, to yield to some ones admonition or advice.” Even though Jesus was the Son of God in truth, yet he remained subject to His earthly parents, until the time appointed. He was Lord of all but he had to remain in submission until God’s timing.
When Jesus was given an instruction by His parents, he obeyed. As He did, He was learning authority. When He continued in this way of humility, the bible says in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” This was the result of walking in humility in the life of Jesus. He went to another level of favor in His life. Favor both with God and with men.

You’ve got to cultivate this attitude, if you want to go far with God. So, if you want to make great advancement in your spiritual walk, one of the virtues you have to develop in your life is humility. You never really know how well you have developed humility in your life until you are under pressure. This is because pressure forces you to express your true character.

Not walking in humility may hinder God’s favor from manifesting in your life. For example, the bible says in Psalm 18:25-26, “With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.” In other words, God deals with you based on who you are and the character of your life. So, walking in humility is definitely the right posture to take at such a time as this. This is surely a time of promotion.

PRAYER
Father I thank you because I know that promotion does not come from anyone or anywhere else but from you. Thank you for grace to remain in this path of humility. I thank you for as I do, I shall experience an increase of favor and wisdom in Jesus Name. Amen.

Matthew 23:11, Luke 9:46-48, Luke 14:11, Proverbs 18:12, 1 Peter 5:6.

DOING THE WORD
Keep yourself subject to all authority which God has placed over you, and cultivate a servant heart.

Humility.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

                                                                                                            James 4:7(KJV).

Functioning in a great anointing requires humility. What is humility? Humility refers to been selfless. It also means been self sacrificing. It also refers to yielding to authority. It refers to been teachable. Humility is seeing yourself within the context of God’s mind or His Word. The bible says in Romans 12:3(GW), “Because of the kindness that God has shown me, I ask you not to think of yourselves more highly than you should. Instead, your thoughts should lead you to use good judgment based on what God has given each of you as believers.”

When Jesus met John the Baptist in Matthew 3:14, John said to Jesus, “I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?” But Jesus answered and said unto John the Baptist; “Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.” Matthew 3:15. Then, Jesus submitted to John’s baptism. From this context, we see humility as submission to God’s program. In other words, you can say humility is a selfless and self sacrificing attitude of submission to constituted authority or God’s program.

Humility is a very important virtue in your life that every one of us has to develop because a life of humility would attract God’s grace to your life. The bible says in 1 Peter 5:5, “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.”
Pride would choke and block God’s grace from functioning in your life. So at such a time as this, it is important that you examine yourself in other to make sure that there is no room for pride to block the blessings that God is releasing to you in this season.

PRAYER
Father I ask that you purge my heart of every seed of falsehood that has entered into my belief system. I submit wholeheartedly to your will and your program for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Ephesians 5:21, Daniel 4:30-37, Job 40:12, 1 Peter 5:6.

DOING THE WORD
Entrust yourself to God, submit yourself to God’s program. Even when it looks belittling to you, remember it is only a positioning for greatness.

You are Christ’s representative.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name … they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Mark 16:17, 18(KJV).

Our opening scripture reveals to us the power that God has already given to us in His Name. One of those abilities we have in the Name of Jesus is to lay hands on the sick and have them recover. Don’t ask how? All you need to do is to step out in faith in that Word as one who believes in Jesus and the sign will follow you. This was exemplified with the lives of the Apostles in the scriptures.

For instance, when Peter got to the gate called beautiful, he met a man that has never walked begging for money. Then Peter spoke to him in Acts 3:4 and said, “… Look on us.” Notice, he did not say, look to God. Why? He saw himself as a representative of Christ having the capacity to do the same works which Jesus did. As a Christian, I want you to know that you are the representative of Christ, so you must always see yourself that way, whenever and wherever you find yourself. You are the Savior they are looking for. You carry the solution to the problems in the lives of men. You are not ordinary.
Peter looked to the man with this understanding and said to him, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.” Acts 3:6-8.

PROPHECY
“There is a realm of authority I want my children to walk into, but many have not been taught, and their ignorance has stopped them from enjoying the privileges that I have given unto them. For I have said to my own, that it is the Father’s good will to give you the kingdom. The kingdom has been given unto you and the authority therein for the glory of my Name. If you would arise with faith in my Name, faith in my Word and in the Power of my Spirit, great results you would see by my anointing says the Lord.”

John 14:12, Luke 10:17, Acts 5:16, Acts 16:18, Acts 19:12, Acts 28:8-9.

DOING THE WORD
If you find anyone sick around you today, do the Word by praying for that person and expect them to be healed.

Praying in agreement.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 18:19.

From our opening scripture, Jesus is saying to us that if any two of us on earth will bring anything to him in agreement, it shall be done by His Father in heaven. That word agreement is from the Greek word ‘sumphoneo.’ It means to make one sound, and the word ‘done’ in our opening scripture, is from the Greek word ‘ginomai.’ It means it shall spring into being. This means, if we come together in agreement with one heart, making one sound to God on any matter, God ensures that the thing which we are asking about springs into being even if it does not exist before.

In other words, God is saying to us that He has given us such power that releases God’s creative ability. There is the true story of a boy who was born without a hip bone. His mother brought the boy who could not walk to the Man of God and told him, “Do the praying, and I will do the believing. So the Man of God prayed for the boy in agreement with her and she believed. The next day, the boy that was born without a hip socket was walking. Science may have said, this is impossible, but God is saying, that if you believe, nothing shall be impossible. Every Christian has sovereign power. That is why God wants to raise us in His Word so we can use the authority he has given unto us well.

PRAYER
Father I commit my heart to the fidelity of your Word. I believe that your Word is true and it is yes and Amen in my life always in Jesus Name. Amen.

Acts 1:14, Acts 4:24-31, Acts 12:5.

DOING THE WORD
Know that whatever you pray in agreement today is done even as you ask.

Heaven is backing you up.

“… For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”
1 Samuel 17:26(KJV).

Goliath continued to talk down on God’s people (the children of Israel) for forty days, and God did nothing about it because no one was brave enough to declare his boastings against God’s people unlawful. But, when David came and heard what Goliath was saying, he said in 1 Samuel 17:26, “… for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”  The moment he said that, he began to make transactions in the realm of the spirit with his words. He rendered Goliath’s boastings unlawful on earth, and it was backed by heaven. Subsequently, David went out against Goliath with those words of victory in his mouth and he successfully killed Goliath.

Be assured in your heart and know that nothing can stand against you successfully. If you live with the understanding of who God has made you in Christ and you maintain your confessions accordingly, victory is sure.

When Stalin was killing Jews in Russia, some Christians went on a fast. And suddenly, he had a hemorrhage and died. Why? Those Christians declared his acts unlawful and improper on earth and it was backed by heaven, so Stalin had to die. This is because Jesus said in Matthew 18:19, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

Therefore, whenever you stand to declare unlawful anything that is inconsistent with God’s will or you come together in agreement with any one over any issue on earth, know that it shall be done for you by your Father in heaven. You are not alone your Father in heaven is backing you up.

PRAYER
Father I thank you for you are with me always and the Power of your Spirit is strengthening me with might in my inward man to always stand in my victory in Christ in Jesus Name. Amen.

1 Samuel 17:23-51.

DOING THE WORD
Stand your ground in faith because nothing can stand against you successfully.

Express your faith.

“As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: …”                    Numbers 14:28(KJV).

Great faith is expressed in words. Our communications unveil our faith. This is because you cannot claim you believe one thing and say another. Whatever you are experiencing in your life is because of your words. If you are experiencing demonic oppressions or increased angelic activity in your life, it is because of your words.

So, keep on making those right confessions which are consistent with God’s Word, because as you do, you are making transactions in the realm of the spirit. What kind of talk is coming out of your mouth? Remember that as a child of God, you have the kingly anointing. That anointing ensures that every word you speak with your mouth comes to pass.

When you speak, do not think those words have just gone into thin air. No! Transactions are taking place in the realm of the spirit to ensure that those things which you have said happen even as you have spoken. Instead of you confessing that you do not have money, start saying, “Money is coming to me now in Jesus Name.” When you start doing that, your angels will be released to ensure that money comes to you by free course. But as long as you remain quiet about that lack or that problem in your life, nothing is going to change. This is because until you declare that situation unlawful on earth, it will not be declared unlawful in heaven.

So, refuse to be quiet over any negative situation in your life today. Address every negative situation in your life authoritatively in faith and watch that mountain fall before you because heaven will surely back you up.
CONFESSION
I am backed up by deity; the All Powerful God. Therefore, none of my words will fall to the ground. My words are anointed to prosper in whatsoever I send it to do in the Name of Jesus.

Psalm 33:9, Matthew 8:8-10, 13

DOING THE WORD
Today, make your confessions and direct the word to any area of your life you need a change.

Transactions in the Spirit.

“… And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.”
Mark 7:29(KJV).

This woman in our opening scripture transacted with her words and the devil tormenting her daughter had to go out. It happened because of her saying (her words).
Do you know that the transactions we make on earth which affects the realm of the spirit that determines what happens in the physical is by words? For instance, when you wanted to get born again, you had to say words in declaration of the Lordship of Jesus over your life. That declaration was a transaction in the realm of the spirit that led to your salvation.

God’s dealing with man in the garden was by his voice, which is His Word. This is why the bible says in Genesis 3:8, “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:” For the voice of God to be walking as revealed to us here, it therefore means that the voice of God is a person.
Also, in the Old Testament, Moses continually reminded them that, they should hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord (Exodus 15:26, Deuteronomy 15:5, Deuteronomy 26:14.) More so, God also hearkened to the voice of the Children of Israel as we see in Numbers 21:3, “And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; …” So, when you are talking or making your declaration, don’t think you are just speaking empty words. No, you are making transactions in the realm of the spirit.

When angel Gabriel came to Daniel, in Daniel 9:23, he made him know that it was because of his supplications; which are made by words, that is why a commandment came forth that he (Gabriel) should bring the answer to Daniel. That transaction that caused the angel Gabriel to be sent to Daniel with the answer he needed was made by words.

Therefore beloved, don’t be careless with your words. For even as you fast and pray in these days, you are making transactions in the realm of the spirit that can alter your destiny and even the destiny of your family and this nation. Also, know that angelic activity is been activated in the realm of the spirit for your well being. So be conscious of every utterance you make because you are transacting with those words.

CONFESSION
I am going upward and forward in my life. I will fulfill my destiny without reproach. All the resources that I require for the fulfillment of my destiny are coming towards me by free course. God has given His angels charge over me and every member of my family. We dwell safely all our days. The blessing and plenty abides in my home in the Name of Jesus.

Psalm 10:17, Psalm 91:15, Isaiah 65:24.

DOING THE WORD
Be conscious of what you say because your words are transactions in the realm of the

The authority of the believer.

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”                         Matthew 16:19(KJV).

The Christian is a sovereign authority on earth. God has given us limitless capacity. That is why He says to us in our opening scripture that, “… whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”  Believe it with all your heart, that whatever you bind or loose on earth is bound or loosed in heaven. Until you believe it, you will not see such manifestations in your life.

On the earth realm, it is said that, “the laws of the land is legal and binding.” In other words, the people are tied to it. So whatsoever you shall declare illegal, unlawful and improper on earth, shall be declared illegal, unlawful and improper in heaven. That means that God will always back you up with His authority.

So, while you are waiting for God to do something about the situation, God is waiting on you to do something about the situation. And, while you waiting for God to heal that person or to set someone free, God is saying to you that He has given to you the keys of the kingdom. In other words, you are the one that allows Heaven’s Authority to manifest on earth.

Do you know that Hitler wanted to take over the world? But that was prevented because some believers got together to fast and pray. As a result Hitler refused to follow the decisions given to him by his Generals and he ended up making the worst decisions of all. Why? Some Christians who had faith in their authority got together to fast and pray and their prayer ended up confusing the wicked dictator Hitler and caused him to make the wrong decisions.

Therefore, take your stand now as a Christian to pray, make your declarations and stand on the Word of God. Because it is you, and not God that is responsible for what happens in your life. So, stop blaming God, take responsibility and start using your authority rightly.

PRAYER
Father I take responsibility for my life today. Thank you Father for I am blessed and I cannot be cursed or disadvantaged in my life. All things are working together for my good, including all that the devil meant for evil. I bind all forms of stagnation, poverty, death, wickedness, mediocrity, violence, and all other vices in this nation and I announce the release of progress, prosperity, life, love, excellence, peace, and all blessings on this nation in Jesus Name. Amen.

Matthew 18:18-20.

DOING THE WORD
Start reigning and stop worrying.

The kingly anointing 2.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
 Revelation 5:10(KJV).

The word king like we learnt yesterday, means the lord of the land. This therefore means that in the sight of God, the lord of the land is not the Chief, or the titled king, or the Governor, or the President. The lord of the land in God’s sight is the Christians in that land, state or nation. They are the ones that have the last word on every issue in that land. This is why we must know and understand how to use the authority that has been given to us of God.

Ecclesiastes 8:4(MSG) says, “The king has the last word. Who dares say to him, "What are you doing?" We have the last word. That is why you must learn how to use your mouth rightly, because the last word is in your mouth concerning your finances, your health, your family, your protection, your nation, etc. Do not take this truth lightly because the bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:21-22, “For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;”  Including life and death, they are all yours.

Therefore as kings of this land we must repent from speaking the wrong words about our land, and follow what the Word says to us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Therefore we can see that God is indeed depending on us for the prosperity of the land where we live and where he has sent us. We can do something about the progress of this nation and her people. This is why we are taking out time to pray and fast in this month. So, repent from speaking curses on the nation, but instead start praying and declaring what you want to see in this nation. You are making this nation a better place to live in for your children and generations yet unborn. Use your authority well as we fast and pray for this nation.

PRAYER
Father I repent from speaking curses and negative statements about this nation, my life, my family, my finances and all that has to do with me. Today, I speak God’s peace to this nation, and I declare that violence shall no more be heard in our land. Instead there shall only be prosperity and sustainable developments in our nation. I pray that the fear of God will be in the hearts of all our political leaders, and you will cause them to favor God’s righteous cause. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Daniel 7:18, 27, Revelations 2:26-27, Revelations 3:21.

DOING THE WORD
Maintain your confessions about this nation.

The Kingly anointing.

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”     Revelation 1:6(KJV).

When you got born again, you were initiated into the Priesthood. Then, there is also the kingly anointing which most of the church calls the baptism with the Holy Spirit. But a lot of Christians do not know what they received the day they got born again or when they received the Holy Spirit because they have not been taught.

So, as a born again Christian you ought to know that you are already a king. The word ‘king’ in our opening scripture is from the Greek word ‘basileus.’ It refers to a king, a prince, a commander, a lord of the land or a leader of the people.

Therefore as a Christian, you must know that you have been made the lord of the land where you are. God has made you a ruler. God has given you a sphere of authority. So do not see yourself as a victim or someone who lacks ability. No! You are a king. You have the authority and ability to determine what happens around you. And the bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4, “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?”

The Lord Jesus also says to us in Luke 10:19(GW), “I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy's power. Nothing will hurt you.” That is the sovereign declaration of the One who has all power; we see that in Matthew 28:18 where Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Then in the verse 19, he says to us, “Go ye therefore …” In other words, he is backing us with all His authority and power in all that we do. So, as you exercise your authority as a king today, be confident knowing that you are backed by the All Powerful One. His Name is Jesus.

PRAYER
Thank you Father for making me a king to reign and rule on the earth. I thank you for I am backed up with your authority which is superior to all other authority and power. I thank you Father for you have filled my words with creative ability to always produce what they talk about. In Jesus Name. Amen.
1 Peter 2:9, Revelations 5:10.

DOING THE WORD
Function in your kingly anointing today; pray and declare what you want to see happen around you and in our nation.

Grow up spiritually.

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”    Galatians 4:1(KJV).

From today’s opening scripture, we see that if the heir to an inheritance is a child, he is not different from a servant. The word ‘child’ is from the Greek word ‘nepios.’ This implies; “one that is an infant or an immature Christian who is untaught in the Word of God.” So, as long as you remain a spiritual infant who is untaught in the Word of God, you are not different from a servant.

Notice the word says, in our opening text, “… as long as he is a child …” This means that you can remain a child as long as you want. As long as you are not feeding on the Word of God, you will remain a child spiritually, notwithstanding how long you have been born again. Without the Word of God you will remain a child spiritually and be unable to enjoy your inheritance because you have chosen to remain in the state of infancy through the years.

Secondly, the word ‘lord’ in Galatians 4:19, refers to a sovereign; one that is supreme in authority. In other words, the baby Christian is an heir to all the authority that God has, but he is still like a servant because he is still a child (an infant); one that is untaught in the Word of God.

This explains why some Christians pray sometimes and they do not see results. Why? It is because they are untaught in the Word of God. So they are unlearned and unskilled in the knowledge and the usage of the Word of righteousness to get results. This is why Ephesians 4:14-15(WNT) admonishes us saying, “So we shall no longer be babes nor shall we resemble mariners tossed on the waves and carried about with every changing wind of doctrine according to men's cleverness and unscrupulous cunning, making use of every shifting device to mislead. But we shall lovingly hold to the truth,
and shall in all respects grow up into union with Him who is our Head, even Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, today I recommit my heart to your Word. As I feed on your Word daily, may my heart be good ground for your Word and let the Word produce in my life what it talks about always in Jesus Name. Amen.

Isaiah 28:9, 1 Corinthians 14:20, Hebrews 5:12-14.

DOING THE WORD
Give priority to your growth spiritually. Do not just hear the Word of God, practice what you hear.

You have an Inheritance.

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”
Romans 8:17(KJV).

From our opening scripture, we see that as children of God, we have become heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Then if we are heirs, it therefore means that we have an inheritance. So, how do we access our inheritance?
Paul says in Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”  This shows us that our inheritance is revealed to us from the Word of God. The word of God is the will that contains our inheritance. But before we can really begin to enjoy our inheritance in its fullness, we must first be built up by the word of God, which helps us to grow into our inheritance.
Acts 20:32(GW) says, "I am now entrusting you to God and to his message that tells how kind he is. That message can help you grow and can give you the inheritance that is shared by all of God's holy people.”

Therefore my beloved, as you fast today, spend time in the Word of God, because the Word of God is that message that will help you grow spiritually. It is the food for your spirit man (1 Peter 2:2). And as you grow spiritually, the Word will give you the inheritance. In other words, as you grow spiritually, you would begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessing and our heritage in Christ. Don’t remain a child spiritually; grow by the Word, because the more you grow, the more of God’s blessings you would enjoy.

CONFESSION
I have received Christ. I have power. God’s ability is at work in me. I am born of God; therefore I am a son of God which makes me an heir. I am an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ. All things are mine and I do not lack anything good. Amen.

Psalm 84:11, Romans 8:32, 1 Corinthians 3:21-23, Revelations 21:7.

DOING THE WORD
Give God thanks for He has brought you into a life of abundance.

The deep things of God.

“But as it is wriiten, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”
                                                                                         1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

I want to tell you about Yondei; he bided to carry out a construction contract which all the experts in construction in the world said was impossible. When Yondei bided, he went on a fast, asking the Lord to reveal to him how he was going to get the job done? And God said, “The sand there is like cement. When water touches it, it becomes like brick. You don’t need cement for this. Number two, God told him, “Don’t work during the day, it’s a desert. It will be difficult for the men, so work at night.” He followed God’s instructions that he got from a place of prayer and fasting, and built what the best people in the world said was impossible. Why? His spirit was sensitive to God to receive divine wisdom.

Today, Yondei is so rich, branching off into many kinds of cars and all kinds of things. He is now a brand name because he knew how to fast and hear from God. So don’t joke with this fast, because an idea can come during this fast that can fetch you an income for a life time like Yondei.

1 corinthians 2:14 says, “But the natural man (the man who lives according to his reasoning) receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

They asked a billionaire, “What does it take to be a billionaire?” He said, “It takes one idea to fetch you an income for a life time.” That idea that you need can come to you during this fast if you will take it seriously. When I say take the fast seriously, I don’t mean you should be serious during the fast from morning till evening and not talk to anybody. That is not what I am talking about. I mean you should give attention to the Word of God and be attentive God’s Spirit even as you fast. If you would only give this fast the attention it demands, it will change your life and set you on course for undeniable success. Remember that in the equation for success, God is the constant while you are the variable. So, align yourself for that desired change in this season.

PRAYER
Father today, I ask for an idea that will totally transform my life and finances and fetch me an income for a life time in Jesus Name. Amen.

Isaiah 64:4, Psalm 31:19, Colossians 1:26-27.

DOING THE WORD
Give the fast the attention it deserves; pray in the Spirit, study the Word of God and meditate on the Word of God. Then listen, because God will surely speak to you.

Keep your spirit sensitive.

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV).

Are you aware of that God talks to you through your spirit? Fasting will fine tune your spirit so you will become more sensitive to hear God talk to you through your spirit.
Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” Jesus also said in John 7:38-39, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive …”

So, as a child of God, the Holy Spirit lives in you. Also, it is important you know that God guides you from your spirit. Also, all that God gives to you is first deposited in your spirit. For that reason, you ought to keep your spirit sensitive to God. Your spirit is so important in your spiritual development because; all that you need or desire is assessed from your spirit including supernatural wisdom.

How do I access the wisdom of the Holy Ghost? The bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:2, “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” This means that when you are praying in tongues, you are praying secret truth. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 says, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory”. So, if you lack the wisdom of God, you will make mistakes just like the princes of this world.

Therefore, keep your spirit sensitive to God and spend time everyday to speak in other tongues. By so doing the wisdom of God would inundate your spirit and your mind.

PRAYER
Father, I thank you for out of my belly flows rivers of living water. Thank you Father for as I take out time to pray in the Spirit today, may I contact supernatural wisdom and insight to inundate my spirit and my mind so I can be guided rightly in your will at all times in Jesus Name. Amen.

Job 32:8, 1 Kings 3:28, 1 Kings 4:29, Proverbs 2:6, James 1:5.

DOING THE WORD
Pray and give God thanks because His wisdom is at work in your life today.

You can minimize your mistakes.

“And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.”
Joshua 9:14-15(KJV).

In our opening scripture, we see Joshua making a covenant of peace with those whom God has commanded the children of Israel to destroy because he did not ask counsel of the Lord. This shows us that if we will learn to pray and seek counsel from God, we would minimize our mistakes.

I was praying in Church and God spoke to me concerning the church and concerning certain individuals. He said, “Some persons are opportunist, be careful of such persons.” You as an individual must also take that word seriously and be mindful and careful of such persons who just want to take advantage of you. It will help you to minimize your mistakes.
These Gibeonites that came to Joshua were opportunist. They told Joshua they had come from a far country and Joshua followed what he saw instead of asking counsel from God. He hastily made a covenant with the people God said he should kill. And now, because he made the covenant of peace with them, he cannot kill them. If he kills them, he will be going against his covenant and God will come against him. What a dilemma he found himself in. Moses had previously warned them that if they do not kill those God had instructed them to kill; they will be pricks in their eyes and thorns in their flesh.
This is one of the reasons it is important you fast. Because at such times, your spirit becomes quiet and more sensitive to hear from God. Fasting is not a time for you to spend the whole day sleeping. You will get nothing from your fast that way. It is a time to pray, study and meditate on the Word of God and let God give you directions for your life. This will save you from making costly mistakes in the future. Ask Him to grant you wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him so that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened.

PRAYER
Father I ask that I may be filled with wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. I ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in Jesus Name. Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6, 1 Samuel 30:7-8, 2 Samuel 2:1, 2 Samuel 5:19, 23.

DOING THE WORD
Just as David inquired of the Lord, go ahead and inquire of the Lord about the decisions and the steps you are planning to take before you take them.

Fasting changes you.

“I proclaimed a fast there beside the Ahava Canal, a fast to humble ourselves before our God and pray for wise guidance for our journey--all our people and possessions.”  Ezra 8:21(MSG).

Fasting doesn’t change God, it changes you. When you study your bible, you will notice that whenever there was an issue, the people of God will call for a fast. Why. They did that to separate themselves to hear from God, because there are some certain things you are doing right now that may be sabotaging your progress, but you do not know. But when you separate yourself to fast like this, God will point out the areas in your life where you need to make some adjustments.

I was listening to a Man of God talk about firstfruit. He spoke about how the Spirit of God will always lead him to give the first of everything he got, and he was wondering, why? Until he found it in the Word of God for himself. When I heard that, I was encouraged because that was how it happened to me too. The first time I went to preach as a young Christian, I was given an honorarium. As I left that place on my way home, I heard in my spirit, “Take that money to Church, it is not your money.” So, I took it to Church and gave it.
That was the Spirit of God leading me in line with the Word of God. So, the Spirit of God can lead you to fast in order that you may separate yourself so that He can show you things which you do not know.

Some people have never given their first fruit. They think that they are smarter than God, but let me tell you something, if you don’t know what the bible says about an issue, you are exempted in some form. In other words, you won’t see the full impact of the judgment or the consequences. But if you know what the Word of God says and yet harden your heart against it, something starts leaving your life. You will find out that though you seem to be making progress, you will be empty. But as you fast in times like this, God will begin to correct you and put you in line with His destiny for your life.

PRAYER.
Father I ask that you grant unto me wisdom and revelation into every hidden detail that has to do with my life. Help me by your Spirit to always apply my heart unto wisdom and instruction, as I remain sensitive to the leadership and guidance of your Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

Psalm 143:8-10, Isaiah 30:21, Jeremiah 10:23.
