“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:”
2Corinthians 10:3(KJV)
We live in the realm of the flesh but we do not war like natural men, as a result, we do not war with physical weapons. Though we've got flesh and blood we do not war after the flesh. That's why we don't use cane to whip witches or some other things that some people do. If Jesus didn't do it, then it is wrong what they do because Jesus is our ultimate example.
The scriptures say in 2 Corinthians 10:3, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:” So, if someone is getting into spiritual warfare and he tells you to use physical weapons, it's already out of line. The devil is a spirit, so if we are fighting with the spirit, then we must use spiritual weapons.
The Bible says to us in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (GNB), “It is true that we live in the world, but we do not fight from worldly motives. The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons but God's powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ.” This is how we fight in order to win in spiritual warfare.
CONFESSION
I release my faith against all the onslaught of the devil against me. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me is condemned in Jesus Name. A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it shall not come near me, in Jesus Name. Amen.
