Working with God

“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” 
2 Corinthians 6:1(KJV)

Ministry is partnership with the Holy Spirit. A call into the ministry is a call into a divine partnership. This is why the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:9, “For we are labourers together with God…” This lets you know that ministry is labouring together with God. So when you get into the work of the ministry, it is important you know that you are in partnership with the Father through the Holy Spirit.

God wants to work with you, in you and through you because you are the body of Christ, and the movement of the body is the movement of Christ. Wherever you are, Christ is available; His anointing is available because Christ is in you.

Jesus said in John 5:17, “… My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” Jesus said again in John 5:19, “…Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” This means that in ministry, the Father initiates and we follow.

So whatever the Father tells us to do or shows in the realm of the Spirit, is what we do on earth. That is what true ministry is all about, it is building according to the pattern of the Spirit.

PRAYER
Dear Father I want to thank you for the privilege of been called into the ministry. I ask that the influence of your Spirit would increase upon my heart to make me more submissive and committed to your leadership and guidance in Jesus Name. Amen.

Live in Him

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring” 
Acts 17:28(KJV)

Our opening scripture lets us know that we dwell in God, He is our dwelling place. We live in Him, that means we have been wrapped up with God. So God is your shield, He is the house in which you live.

For instance, for a thief to get into a house, he would have to break into that house. In the same way, for someone to be able to break into your life, they would have to go past God first. That lets you know how secure you are in Christ, because whatever cannot break into God cannot break into your life. That is why the Bible says in Psalm 91:10, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

In Colossians 3:3 the Bible says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” If your life is hidden with Christ in God it means that no witch can pluck your life because they do not have access to it.

In the light of this truth that you have received today from the Word of God, I want you to settle it in your heart that you cannot die prematurely because your life is hidden with Christ in God, therefore the number of your days you will fulfil in Jesus Name.

Jesus said in John 10:28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you for your Word that has come to me today, I receive the Word with faith and I declare according to your Word that, “There shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.” “With long life will You satisfy me, and show me Your salvation.” In Jesus Name. Amen.

The expression of the Spirit

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;”          
Isaiah 11:1-2(KJV)

The word translated spirit in verse two of our opening scripture is the Hebrew word 'ruach'. It refers to breath, wind, or spirit especially of a rational being. That suggests to us that the Holy Spirit has intelligence. In  Romans 8:27 the Bible talks about the mind of the Spirit. So we can deduce that the Spirit of God has a mind.

The word spirit in our opening scripture also refers to the functions and the expressions of the Spirit. So when we talk about the Spirit of wisdom, it does not mean that there is a spirit called wisdom or another spirit called knowledge, or counsel. No. It refers to the functions or the expressions of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

I want you to know that there are various expressions of the Holy Spirit in our lives. In other words, the Holy Spirit can express Himself in your life as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, might, etc. Therefore if there is any area of your life where you are experiencing any weakness, I encourage you to take advantage of any of the expressions of the Spirit that you desire in your life to augment your potential today.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask for the supply of your spirit towards me today. Thank you for the Spirit of Lord rest upon me, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord functions in me in their fullness today in Jesus Name. Amen.

Members of Christ

“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? …” 
1 Corinthians 6:15(KJV)

A lot of Christians have not really come to understand who a Christian is and that is why they don't have faith in what God has made available. Paul the Apostle asked the Corinthian Church in our opening scripture, “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?” This was because many of them were not functioning and living their lives with that understanding. So he had to let them know that their bodies were members of Christ. This means that your body is no longer yours anymore, in other words, what God will not tolerate in the body of Jesus Christ, He will not tolerate in your body.

The Bible also lets you know in 1 Corinthians 12:27 that, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” As a member of the body of Christ I want you to know that whatever authority is given to the head(Christ) is also given to the body(You). This means that the power that flows in Christ who is the Head, also flows in you because you are the body of Christ.

Therefore, the Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:23, “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”  This means that all authority that has been given to Christ has been given to us because we are the body of Christ. So our union with Christ empowers us to cause whatever bows to Him to bow to us. Whatever obeys Jesus ought to obey you because you are the body of Christ.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am a member of the body of Christ, therefore every authority and power that flows in Christ flows in me. I have been empowered by my union with Christ to command obedience in every sphere of life.

God dwells in you

“And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.” 1 John 3:24(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us how we know that God remains in us. We know that God remains and dwells in us by the Holy Spirit which He has given to us. This means that if the Holy Spirit has come into you, it means that God has taken residence inside of you, so you are now joined to the Lord.

In 1 Corinthians 6:17 the Bible says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” This means that when you became born again, you became one with divinity, the life of God which you received at the new birth has supplanted the human life in you. Now you have become plugged into God.

This is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Now that you are in Christ the Bible says in Galatians 3:27, “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Child of God I want you to know what you have received. You need to know what happened to you the day you got born again, you are no longer ordinary anymore. When God looks at you, He sees Himself.

Therefore, I encourage you to meditate upon this truth until faith rises in your heart, that is when you will be able to live this quality of life that you have received in Christ.

In the Name of Jesus I declare that greater is He that is in me than He that's in the world. God dwells in me by His Spirit that lives in me. I am one with divinity because I am joined to the Lord by the Holy Spirit who has made me the habitation of God.

Divine Immunity

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” 
Luke 10:19(KJV)

Today I want you to take note of the latter part of our opening scripture where the Bible says, “…and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” This means that in this authority we have in Christ we have divine immunity.

Child of God you need to realize that there is nothing that the wicked can do to you that can harm you. Some Christians may begin to live in fear because they heard that a certain group of fetish persons have said they are going to stop them. No! they cannot stop you because you have divine immunity over all the ability of the enemy.

The Bible says in Isaiah 54:15, “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.” This means that people will surely gather against you, it doesn't matter who they are and where they may be gathering against you, I want you to know that you have a more sure Word, that whosoever gathers against you shall fall for your sake.

The Bible also says in Isaiah 41:10-12(GW), “Don't be afraid, because I am with you. Don't be intimidated; I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will support you with my victorious right hand. "Everyone who is angry with you will be ashamed and disgraced. Those who oppose you will be reduced to nothing and disappear. You will search for your enemies, but you will not find them. Those who are at war with you will be reduced to nothing and no longer exist.” This is your heritage in Christ.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus, I will not be afraid because God is with me. His grace is sufficient for me, His strength is perfected in every weakness. I am victorious in Him, and anyone who rises up against me will be ashamed and disgraced because I am the anointed of the Lord. I have divine immunity over all the ability of the enemy.

Every sickness can be healed

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.” 
Matthew 9:35(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that Jesus healed every disease and every sickness among the people. If Jesus healed every sickness and every disease among the people, it therefore means that every sickness and every disease can be healed including HIV.

Believe this; every sickness and every disease no matter the name it goes by can be healed. The Bible says in Philippians 2:10, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Every sickness has a name, but there is a name that they all bow to, that Name is the name of Jesus. It is higher and greater than all other names; so when the Name of Jesus is mentioned, HIV bows, high blood pressure bows, cancer bows, diabetics bows, etc.

So use the Name of Jesus today and free yourself and others from every oppression of sickness or disease.

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you for the power in the Name of Jesus, therefore in the Name of Jesus I curse every sickness and infirmity in my body or in the body of my loved ones to pass out of our bodies unnoticed right now in Jesus Name. Amen.

The devils are your subject

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” 
Luke 10:17(KJV)

The word subject in our opening scripture is the Greek word 'hupatasso'. It means to arrange under to obey. This means that they were saying to the Master, even the devils are arranged under us to obey us through your name.

This means that the posture that demons or devils have towards us who are in Christ is the posture to obey us because the name of Jesus has been named upon us. Jesus has given us His name. This is why the Bible says in Mark 16:17, “…In my name shall they cast out devils…”

The word name is from the Greek word 'onoma' which means authority, rank or character. This means that when Jesus gave us the right to His name, He gave us the right to His authority and rank to which every devil must obey.

Therefore whenever you use the name of Jesus and you say, “In the Name of Jesus”, the moment you mention that name whatever you say in that name must be obeyed because it is taken that Jesus is talking because you are speaking in His name. That name has authority in heaven, on earth and under the earth and it does not fail. So as you use that name be confident knowing that all devils are arranged under you to obey you.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I have authority over all the ability of the devil. At the mention of the Name of Jesus every devil is arranged under me to obey me. In that Name I have authority to demand for things in heaven, and to command obedience of things in earth and under the earth.

Your Legal Authority

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” 
Luke 10:19(KJV)

The word power in our opening scripture is the Greek word 'exousia' it refers to delegated power or delegated influence. It also means rights, privilege, authority or jurisdiction.

This means that when Jesus said, “…I give unto you power…” It meant that Jesus was authorizing them, which means He was giving them the legal authority or capacity to be able to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.

I want you to know that serpents and scorpions are symbols of satan. For instance in Revelations 20:2 satan is called, “…that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,…” This means that Jesus has given unto everyone of us the legal authority and capacity to trample under foot that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan.

Therefore child of God live your life with this consciousness that satan, the devil is under your feet because you have been authorized to tread on serpents and scorpions, this means that no matter the number of devils assigned against you, you can walk over them.

CONFESSION
Dear Father I thank you for giving me the legal authority and capacity to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Therefore I declare that all devils are my subject in Jesus Name.

The effect of the anointing

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” 
Isaiah 10:27(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that every burden or yoke will be destroyed when the anointing of the Spirit comes mightily upon you. It is not possible for the anointing to come upon you mightily and you remain bound.

I will like to explain to you what it means for the anointing to come upon you mightily using the account we read yesterday concerning Samson in Judges 15:14 where the Bible says, “…the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him …” The word mightily there is from the Hebrew word 'tsaleach' which means 'to push forward', 'to break out', 'to be profitable' and it also means 'prosperity'.

This means that when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you mightily, He will push you forward over every barrier or limitation, He will cause you to break out from every burden or yoke that wants to bind you, and He will cause you to become profitable in all that you do even as you continue to make progress and go forward with prosperity. So stir up that anointing of God's Spirit in your life and He will surely produce these effects in your life.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am moving forward by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Every bondage and every bad habit is broken by the power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost is causing me to prosper and to make progress in every area of my life. Amen.

The Spirit of Power

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you …” 
Acts 1:8(KJV)

Our opening scripture lets us know that when the Holy Spirit came upon you, you received power. For instance, you cannot separate water from being wet, because when water is poured on you, you become wet. In the same way, you cannot separate the Holy Spirit from the power of God, so when you received the Holy Spirit you received power.

This means that when you say that the Holy Spirit lives in you, you are saying that the power of God lives in you. This was why Micah declared in Micah 3:8, “But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, …” This means that wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, the power of God is, because the Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of power.

Another example we see in the scriptures is Samson. When you read about Samson in the Bible, you will notice that whenever the Spirit of God came upon him, he did mighty things. The Bible shows us this in Judges 15:14-16, “And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.”

Child of God be conscious knowing that the Spirit of power is in you, therefore nothing shall be impossible unto you and nothing shall be able to bind you anymore.

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am full of power because the Spirit of power is in me, therefore I am liberated from all that binds and am empowered to do the previously impossible and to set new standards. Amen.

Your memory box

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” 
John 14:26(KJV)

Today I want to let you know that the Holy Spirit is your memory box. This is because the Bible says in our opening scripture that the Holy Spirit is the One who teaches you and brings all things to your remembrance.

Therefore it does not matter weather you are preparing for an exam or an oral interview, do not be afraid. Yes it is important for you to read, so go ahead and read all the materials you need to read. When you have done all the reading you need to do, remember that it is the Holy Spirit that will brings all things to your remembrance. This means that if you read it, you will remember it because the Holy Spirit is your memory box.

Child of God it is important you know that the Christian is never forgetful. This is why I don't ever try to remember because I know that the Holy Spirit is my memory box. So as long as I read it, the Holy Spirit is obligated to bring it to my remembrance.

Therefore I encourage you not to lean on your brain or your mind, lean on the Holy Spirit. When you lean on the Holy Spirit, no matter how they twist the question, you will know how to answer it.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that the Holy Spirit is my memory box, therefore I do not forget because He brings all things to my remembrance. I declare that the Holy Spirit has all answers and He is inside of me, therefore I boldly say that all answers are inside of me. Amen.

Success by the Spirit

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18(KJV)

The Holy Spirit who is the source of the anointing. He is also the source of wisdom, understanding and knowledge for every kind of expertise in this life. Jesus succeeded in His ministry on earth because He functioned under the anointing of God's Spirit; He preached and did all the mighty works He did because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit that was on Him without measure.

Therefore if you are a leader in the house of God or a minister of the gospel, your success in the ministry is tied to the Holy Spirit and the operation of the anointing upon your life.

If you are in business as a child of God, your success is also tied to the Holy Spirit. So, you must daily submit to the influence of the Holy Spirit and His guidance in your life because as you do, your success even in business will be amplified. This was evident in the life of Joseph to which Pharaoh testified in Genesis 41:38-41, “And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.”

From the above scripture, you will notice that Joseph did not become the Prime minister of Egypt because he knew Pharaoh, no. Joseph became the Prime minister of Egypt because he had wisdom and discretion which was a working of the anointing of God's Spirit upon his life.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the source of wisdom is in me because the Spirit of God who is the Spirit of wisdom lives in me. Christ is the wisdom of God, and Christ is in me. Therefore the wisdom of God is inside of me augmenting my potential and causing me to excel in all that God has called me to do. Amen.

Lead by the Anointing

“…And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward…” 
1 Samuel 16:12-13(KJV)

In our opening scripture, the Lord spoke to Samuel to anoint David king over Israel because leadership demands an anointing. You cannot lead beyond the anointing on your life. This is why throughout the Old Testament God did not make any one King over the children of Israel without first anointing them with oil.

This is important because when you are anointed of the Lord to lead His people, you won't have to force people to obey you. The anointing upon your life is what will cause them to comply. That anointing will move the heart of every one under your influence to obey you willingly.

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 10:26 “And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched”. Notice that these men followed Saul not because he forced them but because God touched their hearts to follow him.

Therefore this shows that it is the anointing that moves people to follow you and gives you influence with men. So if you expect to see such results in your life as a leader, then you must rely on the Spirit of God and fellowship with Him so that the anointing will continually increase on your life.

CONFESSION
Dear Father thank you for the anointing upon my life, I place a demand on that  anointing right now to produce increase, fruitfulness and multiplied influence for that which you've called me to do in Jesus Name. Amen.

Augment your Potential

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” 
Luke 24:49(KJV)  

As a child of God, you should be conscious of the anointing of God's Spirit on your life because without the anointing on your life, you would have no influence. Without the anointing of God's Spirit upon your life, you will live your life beneath your potential as a child of God, this was why before Jesus sent out His disciples to do the work of the ministry, He endued them with power from on high;  in other words He told them to wait for the anointing. This is because the anointing of God's Spirit came to augment your potential, and without the anointing you have nothing to give.

In Exodus 31:2-5, the Bible shows us the operation of the anointing of God's Spirit in the life of a man named Bazaleel and how that anointing augmented his potential to be able to do what God has called him to do.

Exodus 31:2-5 says, “See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.”

I want you to know that the same anointing of God's Spirit is available and can fully equip you to do all that God has called you to do.

CONFESSION
In the Name of the Jesus, I declare that the Spirit of the LORD rests mightily upon me, may the Spirit of wisdom and understanding fill my life with insight and excellence, may the Spirit of counsel inundate my mind, may the Spirit of might strengthen my inward man, may the spirit of knowledge fill my heart with revelation, and may the Spirit of the fear of the LORD establish my heart in righteousness and holiness. Amen.

Supernatural Influence

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” 
Acts 10:38(KJV) 

The measure of the influence of God's Spirit over your life is what determins the measure of your influence with men. Therefore if you want to have lasting influence with men, then you must have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. See Judges 6:34.

Child of God influence is supernatural. For instance when you observe the life of David, after he was anointed by Samuel to be king over Israel, (See 1 Samuel 16:13) he didn't become king of Israel overnight, but his influence continued to rise in Israel steadily from one level to another until he eventually became king over all of Israel.

As David's influence increased, the men of Judah came by themselves to make David king. The Bible says in 2 Samuel 2:4, “And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah…” Afterwards in 2 Samuel 5:1-3(MSG), “Before long all the tribes of Israel approached David in Hebron and said, "Look at us--your own flesh and blood! In time past when Saul was our king, you're the one who really ran the country.

Even then GOD said to you, 'You will shepherd my people Israel and you'll be the prince.'" All the leaders of Israel met with King David at Hebron, and the king made a treaty with them in the presence of GOD. And so they anointed David king over Israel.”

PRAYER
Dear Father I surrender my life to you, I give you my will, my mind and my emotions. Anoint me with fresh oil today even as I position myself for a closer walk with you in Jesus Name. Amen.

The anointing to lead

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?”

Our opening scripture shows us that effective leadership is by the anointing. This is why Samuel came to anoint Saul the first king of Israel before he started leading God's people.

Also, when God rejected Saul and choose David to become king over Israel, David also had to be anointed before he could assume that responsibility of king of Israel. The Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:30, “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.”

Why did God send Samuel to anoint David before he was made king? It was because David was going to be a leader over God's people. This shows you that you need the anointing of God's Spirit upon your life for you to be an effective leader over God's people, because the measure of your influence over God's people will be equivalent to the measure of the anointing on your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask for the supply of your Spirit towards me for greater effectiveness in all that you have called me to do in the house of God. May the Spirit of the Lord rest mightily upon me for effective leadership over God's people in Jesus Name. Amen.

You are anointed

“And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” 
Exodus 31:3(KJV)

The anointing is the empowerment of God's Spirit for a particular purpose. I want you to know that without the anointing of God's Spirit it is impossible to fulfil God's calling on your life, that is why whenever God wants to do something with your life He anoints you for it.

God specifically anoints you for the purpose for which He has called you. For instance there is an anointing to do business, there is an anointing to pastor a church, there is an anointing to sing, there is an anointing to write, and it is important you know that the measure of anointing on your life is what will determine the measure of your effectiveness in your calling.

When God anoints you for a particular purpose, most times at the beginning, you may not walk in the fullness of that anointing, you would have to increase in it. For instance the Bible tells us in Luke 2:40 that Jesus was full of wisdom. Then again in Luke 2:52 the Bible says, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” I want you to notice that the Bible said initially in Luke 2:40 that Jesus was full with wisdom and then in Luke 2:52, the Bible said Jesus increased in wisdom showing us that Jesus did not function in the fullness of the wisdom at once because wisdom is in levels. So for every level, He functioned at the highest level of wisdom for that level.

Therefore child of God, when you discover God's plan and purpose for your life, it is important you know that the anointing to fulfil that purpose is already released towards you. Therefore I encourage you to release your faith and receive grace to function in the fullness of the anointing required for greater  effectiveness in every level of your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father I receive grace today from your Spirit to function in the fullness of the anointing that will produce in me greater effectiveness for this phase of my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Vitality in the Spirit

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you …”

The day you received the Holy Ghost you stopped being a weakling because the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of might. I want you to know that the power of the Holy Spirit in your life will not only make you strong spiritually but it will also make you strong physically. Remember Samson.

The Bible says in Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” The word quicken in that verse means to 'vitalize', it also means to 'make alive' or 'to give life'.

Therefore, it doesn't matter the infirmity or weakness you may have been born with or that is prevalent in your family. Now that you are born again and have received the Holy Spirit, you need to know and be conscious of what you have received, the power of the Holy Spirit in you is able to vitalize your body, and this power of the Spirit is mostly activated when we pray in other tongues.

So whenever you pray in the Spirit know that the life of God is been communicated to your body; to vitalize your body and to destroy every weakness and infirmity, as a result you are empowered to live in divine health and vitality always.
   
CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that the Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead dwells in me, therefore the Spirit of God vitalizes my body and destroys every weakness and infirmity by His power that dwells in me. Amen.

Let God show you visions

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” 
Joel 2:28(KJV)

From our opening scripture we see that when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, one of the things He does is to empower you to see visions, this is why the Bible says, “…your young men shall see visions”.

God wants to show you visions. He wants to show you pictures. These pictures are what will guide you into your future. The Lord Jesus while He was here on earth was able to see ahead; that was why He said in John 5:19, “... The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” The pictures He saw from the realm of the Spirit shaped His future.

God can also show you visions to guide you into your future. Kenneth Hagin said when He prays for his meetings, he would see visions; he may see a vision of someone on a wheel chair or someone lying down flat and he saw himself going to raise the person up in the vision. So when he comes into the meeting and he sees someone in the condition he saw in the vision earlier, he knows God wants to heal that person, so he walks there and raises the person up. He was confident to do that because he saw what the Father was doing, and he did it, and it worked.

Your life can be that way too. If you have not started experiencing such, you can ask the Father and He will begin to show you visions because it is part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask that you anoint my eyes with eye salve to be able to see the visions of your Spirit concerning my future and all that you have called me to do. I thank you for as I see what you are doing, faith is stirred up in my heart to do likewise in Jesus Name. Amen.

Activate the ability of the Spirit

Today I want you to know that the day you received the Holy Spirit, an anointing came upon you to make you a success in life. This is because you received all the ability of the Spirit into you the day you received the Holy Spirit. This means that all the wisdom of God is inside of you if you have received the Holy Spirit. See 1 Corinthians 1:30.

Therefore if you have received the Holy Spirit as a child of God, stop making wrong confessions about your self and your job. Stop saying words like, “I don't just understand my job” or “I am just confused, and I don't know what to do.” Instead of making such complains, why don't you just take out some time to pray in the Spirit concerning all that's bothering you.

When you pray in the Spirit in other tongues, you are activating the power of God and the abilities of the Holy Spirit will be activated in your life. As you pray with this understanding in the Spirit, wisdom will be activated in you, your fears will fade, you will be empowered by the Spirit to do the previously impossible. It will also produce in you a new sense of confidence and peace, it will produce soundness in your mind and discipline in your life.

I encourage you to maximize the abilities of the Spirit in you by exercising yourself in the Spirit and praying in other tongues everyday.

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you for giving me the gift of the Holy Spirit. Therefore I declare that my life is filled with power, my life is filled with love, and I have a sound mind filled with wisdom, discipline and excellence in Jesus Name. Amen.

Plugged into Power

“For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”

Today I will like to share with you the story of a lady who testified concerning what happened when robbers came to her house. She said while she laid on the floor, she began to speak in other tongues, and as she went on and on praying in the Holy Ghost, those robbers could not do anything to her and neither could they take anything from her house and they left.

What gave her that result? It was her level of understanding. She knew what happens when she prays in other tongues. This is because you cannot walk in the power of God beyond your understanding of that power.

A dear man of God told a story about a man that was kidnaped and was taken to a place where he was supposed to be killed. When the men who was supposed to kill him came out and began to move towards him, he began to speak in tongues and the men moved backward. When he noticed how the men reacted when he spoke  in tongues, he continued  speaking in tongues, and as he did the men left him and he escaped unharmed. Some time after that incident, he was in Oba market in Benin City and a man who he was unfamiliar with greeted him and introduced himself as one of those who kidnaped him and tried to kill him, but as he wanted to quickly get away from this strange man, the man began confessing and telling him why they couldn't kill him. The man said as he spoke in tongues, fire was coming out of his mouth towards them and that was why they had to let him go.

Child of God I want you to know that you have been plugged into the power of God and all of God is now inside of you, no weapon formed against you shall prosper because of your union with deity.    

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I have been plugged into power because I have received the Holy spirit and power. Therefore whenever I pray in the Spirit in other tongues the power of God is stirred up in me for exploits. Amen.

Christ consciousness

“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,”

Today, our opening scripture reveals to us what it truly means to be a Christian; it is Christ reproduced in you. Being a Christian does not mean to be weak or powerless as those who lack understanding may want to portray Christianity.

I will like to share with you the testimony of a brother who understood what Christianity was. While he was in the park on his way to church one day, armed robbers were shooting sporadically  into the air, and before he could escape, he was met by a stray bullet. Now instead of the bullet to enter into his body, it touched him, rolled down his body and fell to the ground even as he remained unhurt. Immediately this happened, all those who witnessed it gathered around him and he used that opportunity to preach to them.Wow.

You may want to ask, why didn't the bullet enter? It is because he is conscious that he is wrapped with the Holy Spirit and power. Are you also living your , life conscious of this reality; that you are wrapped up with the Holy Spirit and power? It is important for you to live with that consciousness because your safety depends on it.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, therefore I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. No evil shall befall me neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. I am protected from the pestilence that walks in darkness and the destruction that wasteth at noon day. A thousand shall fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it shall not come near me because I am wrapped up with the Holy Spirit and power.

You are sentenced to succeed

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

Do you know that the day you received the Holy Spirit who is the power of God, you received all that you require for life and godliness? You received all you require for life and godliness the day the power of God came into you when you received the Holy Spirit.

Child of God I want you to know that the day you started speaking in tongues, you were sentenced to success. A lot of Christians do not know what they received the day they received the Holy Spirit. This is why John the Apostle wrote in 1 John 4:4 saying, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

The Greater One lives in you, therefore stop being afraid of the devil, he has been defeated and he is under your feet. Our Lord Jesus won the victory for us and has declared us more than conquerors in Him. Praise God.

In the Name of Jesus I declare that in Christ Jesus I am victorious over satan and all his wiles against me. I have been sentenced to a life of success because I have all I require for life and godliness by His divine power that is at work in me.

The Anointing

“But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.” 
Psalm 92:10(KJV)

One of the definitions of the anointing means 'to pour oil upon'. It also means 'to smear with oil'.

One of the words for anoint in the Hebrew is the word 'Mashach'; 'it means to rub with oil', to consecrate', 'to paint'. Another word for anoint in the Old Testament is the word 'Balal'. This is what we see in our opening scripture (Psalm 92:10) where the word says; “I shall be anointed with fresh oil”. It means to overflow with oil, to mix, to anoint or mingle.

This means there is a mingling that takes place when you are anointed. It is called the intermingling. This means that when you are anointed with the Holy Spirit you have been intermingled with the anointing. This means you have become inseparable with the anointing that you have received.

This is why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:17 “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” This means that you have become one Spirit with the Holy Spirit who you have been anointed with. The Bible says in 1 John 2:27(AMP), “But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you;”

So if you are born again and have received the Holy Spirit, you are never alone because the Holy Spirit who is the Person of the anointing abides in you permanently. You have been mingled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to do supernatural things. Praise God who has made us more than men.

PRAYER
Dear Father I give you thanks for making me one with You through your Spirit. I thank you for the supply of your Spirit towards me today, causing me to do supernatural things to the glory of your Name. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Inherent Power

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” 
John 14:16(KJV)

Do you know that as a child of God who has received the Holy Spirit, the power of God in your life does not go and come? This is because the Holy Spirit brought the power of God into your life. Therefore as long as He abides in you, the power of God also abides in you.

I also want to remind you today that the power of God in you is inherent, so you do not need to pray down the power, all you need to do is to stir up the power. So know that every time you are speaking in tongues, you are actually stirring up the power of God in you. See 2 Timothy 1:6-7.

This is why the Bible says in Jude 1:20, “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” The Amplified Bible puts it this way, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;”

This means that whenever you pray in the Holy Spirit, you are stirring up the power of God's Spirit in you to cause you can make more progress by rising higher and higher like an edifice for greater accomplishments in your life.

Therefore I encourage you  not to trivialize praying in the Spirit because it is a required exercise for you to walk in the power of God.

Who is a Christian ?

“… And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” 
Acts 11:26(KJV)        

Today I want to explain to you what it means to be a Christian. Firstly, a Christian refers to someone who have lost his identity in Jesus Christ. See Galatians 3:27. This was what made those who saw the disciples in Antioch call them Christians. The lives of the disciples manifested the identity of Jesus Christ.

The word Christian is also from the Greek word ‘Christianos’ which is generally been translated as the follower of Christ, but Christianos also means, “someone that is joined to the anointed One and His anointing.”

For instance when I got married to my wife Valerie, she got married to everything that I will ever be, that means that she has access to all that I will ever be and all that I am. In the same way, when you got born again and became joined to Jesus Christ, you received access to all that He is and all that He has. See 1 Corinthians 3:21-23, 2 Corinthians 11:2.

Therefore a Christian is someone who has taken part in an anointed union with Jesus Christ. So if you are a Christian, the same anointing that is flowing through Jesus is flowing in you now. See John 15:5.This means that the same anointing that Jesus walked in has been made available to you to enable you  to do the same works that Jesus did today. Do you believe this?

This is why the Bible says to us in I John 4:17, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” Therefore I encourage you not to limit yourself as a Christian. You are extraordinary in every sense of the word because you have access to all the power of God to be able to live just like Christ in this world today.        

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you because Christ is formed in me today in Jesus Name. Amen.

You have power in you

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: …” 
Acts 1:8(KJV) 

The word 'power' in our opening scripture means 'inherent power.' It refers to power that is intrinsic  with the nature of a thing. This means that the power we have in us is because of the Holy Ghost who we have received in us.

This is why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:17 “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” Therefore now that you have been mingled with the Holy Ghost, it means that                                                                                                                                                  you have also received all the power that is in the Holy Ghost. So no matter where you are, if you need that power you can just simply stir it up by praying in the Holy Ghost to produce whatever change you desire.

This was why Paul speaking to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6 said, “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” This admonition from Paul is still very relevant to us today because some Christians allow themselves to become overwhelmed by their challenges and the difficulties that comes to them forgetting that they can do something about it.

Therefore, when challenges and difficulties arise, know that you can change it by stirring up the power of the Holy Spirit that is in you, that power in you can change any circumstance, no matter how hopeless it might seem to your senses. If you spend time praying in tongues - directing the power of the Spirit to that circumstance, it will surely change in your favour.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, therefore greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, may every challenge and difficulty that has arisen against me be turned in my favour by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Be filled with the Spirit

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”              
Ephesians 5:18(KJV)

Our opening scripture instructs us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. That should be the state where we live as believers. A state where we stay perpetually filled with the Holy Spirit. That is what God wants for us.

So if you ever notice in your life that it looks as though you are becoming stubborn and irresponsive to the things of the Spirit, and may be you are finding it difficult to obey God, there is something you must do.

You must take out some time to spend quality time praying in other tongues until you are full of the Spirit. When you are full of the Spirit, obedience becomes easy. Jesus was always full with the Spirit and also led by the Holy Spirit. (See Luke 4:1).

So if you want to be controlled by the Holy Spirit, I encourage you to spend time praying in other tongues until you come under that control. Today please take out some time to pray for yourself in other tongues and let the influence of God’s Spirit increase in you.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask for the outpouring of your Spirit upon my life today, and I ask that my heart will be more sensitive to the control and guidance of your Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

Be endued with power 2

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” 
Luke 24:49(KJV)

Today from our opening scripture,  I will like to emphasize to you what it means to be endued with power from on high. The word 'endue' means 'to cloth', 'to wrap around with',  'to sink into like been submerged into a sack'.

With this understanding you can now understand what Jesus meant when He said, “… tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” It meant He was telling them to wait in Jerusalem until they sink into power. This means that when you say that you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, you are saying that you have sunk into power. This is because when you baptize something, you bury it in the water. So when you are baptized with the Holy Spirit, you are completely submerged in the Holy Spirit such that you become clothed with the Holy Spirit. See 1 Corinthians 6:17.  

Therefore, if you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit it means that you have been clothed and wrapped with the Holy Spirit, in other words you  are clothed and wrapped with God's power twenty four hours a day everyday of your life.

So what are you going to do with this enormous power that has been made available to you in the Holy Ghost?  I encourage you to stir up that power in you so you can walk consistently in the supernatural.  

INSTRUCTION
If you are born again and if you are not filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, I will encourage you to ask the Father to fill you with the Spirit even as you receive utterance to pray in tongues. Please read Luke 11:13, Acts 2:38-39.

Be endued with Power 1

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Our opening scripture shows us that God is the source of the anointing. Secondly, I will like you to notice that the Bible says Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost.

The word anoint means 'to rub into'. For instance when you rub your cream into your skin, you are actually anointing your skin with your cream because when you are through rubbing your skin with your cream, you cannot separate the cream anymore from your skin. Therefore, when the Bible says that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost it meant that the Holy Ghost has been rubbed into Jesus such that they have become One.

This shows us that the anointing in the New Testament is not just a thing, it is a person, it is an inducement with the Person, Presence and Power of the Holy Ghost. In Luke 24:49, the Bible says, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Therefore I want you to know that if you have received the Holy Ghost, it means that you have been anointed and endued with power from on high, in other words, you do not lack power. I encourage you to live your life conscious of the anointing which you have received in you so you can begin to produce supernatural results because you are not ordinary.      

CONFESSION
 I am not an ordinary person because God has anointed me and endued me with power from on high. I am filled with the Holy Spirit and power to produce supernatural results and to heal all who are oppressed of the devil in Jesus Name.
