Conceive it in your heart. 2

"And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever."

Genesis 13:14-15

The future that you see is the future that will be. God told Abraham in our opening scripture, "…all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." Before Abraham was able to have Isaac, he had to see it as well. The Bible shows us this in Genesis 15:3-6 saying, "And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness."

Work on your mind. Fill your mind with pictures of prosperity and possibilities. Meditate on the Word of God until you can visualize yourself living in the reality of that Word. See yourself healthy, see yourself prosperous, and see yourself victorious. This is important because the more you renew your mind, the more you are able to connect with your supply. Therefore, I encourage you to keep your mind renewed to the promises of God because right thinking leads to right believing. God bless you.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you because every limitation on my mind concerning prosperity is broken. I see myself walking in prosperity, victory and health everyday of my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Conceive it in your heart 1

"To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,"

Acts 7:39

What your mind cannot conceive, your hand cannot receive. From our opening scripture the Bible shows us the reason why the older generation of the children of Israel died in the wilderness and could not enter the Promised Land. It was because in their hearts, they turned back into Egypt.

In Hebrews 3:10-11 the Bible sheds more light on this saying, "Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)" They could not enter into God's rest because they could not conceive it in their hearts.

Therefore, no matter what you desire to have, if you do not see yourself in your mind having it, you will not hold it with your hand. Happy Caldwell stood before a beautiful house in Hawaii and he said he could not see himself living in that house. When he said that, he said he heard the voice of God telling him that so long as he could not see himself in that kind of house, he would never have it.

In Joshua 6:2, before Joshua conquered Jericho God came to him saying, "… See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour." This shows that no matter what God wants for you, you have to first see it in your heart, before your hand can receive it.

Instruction

What is that thing that you are expecting? Describe it in your dream note in such a way that you can see it with your mind's eyes. Then thank the Father for it.

God is your source

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:19

Our opening scripture reveals that God is our source. He is able to supply every need that arises in your life. The word supply in our opening scripture is from the Greek word 'pleroo' which means to cram a net. This can be explained with the picture of a net full of fish and there is no longer any space in the net. Therefore, when God says He shall supply all your need, He is saying that He is going to so fill you with every provision you need until there is no space left.

The word need is from the Greek word 'chreia' which refers to demands. That means for every demand you make, there is an equivalent supply. So there is nothing you need that God cannot supply. Always remember that God is your source. Your job, business, etc. are only channels. Therefore, do not put your hope in any of the channels through which God blesses you. Let your hope be in God alone because even if one channel fails, He is able to open to you new streams of income so that you can be abundantly supplied.

For instance, Jacob was a man who recognized God as his source and vowed to give God a tithe of all that he possessed (Genesis 28:20-22). Because of this, Jacob prospered so much until he became richer than his employer (his father in law) who tried to cheat him ten times in his wages, yet he prospered more. Jacob attests to God as his source in Genesis 31:6-9(GNB) when he addressed his wives saying, "You both know that I have worked for your father with all my strength. Yet he has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God did not let him harm me. Whenever Laban said, 'The speckled goats shall be your wages,' all the flocks produced speckled young. When he said, 'The striped goats shall be your wages,' all the flocks produced striped young. God has taken flocks away from your father and given them to me." Make God your source and you shall not lack any good thing.

Prayer

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that God is my source. Therefore, I am abundantly supplied with all good things in Jesus Name. Amen.

Choose God's plan

"I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for."

Jeremiah 29:11(GNB)

Many people find it difficult to accept and follow God's plan for their lives because they have a wrong mindset that God's plan for them will bring them to poverty and suffering. Yet the Bible shows you today from Jeremiah 29:11 that the plans that God has for you, are plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster. His plans will bring about the future you hope for.

I encourage you today to stop struggling with God's plan for your life. The process at the beginning may be uncomfortable for you, but the Bible says there is an end (a future and a reward). Proverbs 23:18(AMP) says, "For surely there is a latter end [a future and a reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off."

Therefore, Hebrews 10:35-36(AMP) says, "Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised." Ask the Father to give you steadfast patience and endurance for persistence in God’s plan and purpose for your life. This is important because if you give up on God's plan for you today, you will definitely not be able to receive the great and glorious compensation of reward. Also, you will not be able to perform and fully accomplish the will of God for your life. I encourage you to choose the plan of God for your life inspite of all odds because it has no possibility of failure.

Prayer

Dear Father, I submit to your plan and purpose for my life with all my heart because I know that your plans for me are plans of good and not of evil to bring me prosperity and not disaster, to give me the future that I hope for. Strengthen my heart dear Father to persevere in your will inspite of any challenge in Jesus Name. Amen.

A Prophetic Word.

"The Israelites did according to the word of Moses; and they [urgently] asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver and of gold, and clothing. The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. And they stripped the Egyptians [of those things]."

Exodus 12:35-36

God told the children of Israel through Moses the man of God to demand of the Egyptians jewels of silver and of gold, and clothing before they left Egypt. This was a kind of wealth transfer that took place at that time because the Bible clearly shows us that, "…The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. And they stripped the Egyptians [of those things]." I believe that in this year the children of God are going to have such favour that will cause every need that they have to be met.

In Genesis 39:21-22, the Bible says, "But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison. And the warden of the prison committed to Joseph's care all the prisoners who were in the prison; and whatsoever was done there, he was in charge of it." In this year, expect God to give you favour with all those above you in the places where you work that will lead to your supernatural promotion and lifting.

The Bible says in Acts 7:9-10, "And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house." In this year, even as God gave Joseph favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so will God cause those in political authority to favour the Body of Christ and cause believers to ascend to influential positions to establish the will of God.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you for every good Word that has been spoken over my life this year. They shall all come to pass speedily in Jesus Name. Amen.

The purpose of prosperity

"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:"

Genesis 12:2

Why does God want you to be rich and wealthy? It is said that if you do not know the purpose of a thing, abuse is inevitable. Therefore, as a child of God you must know the purpose why God wants you to prosper.

We see one of the reasons why God wants us to prosper in Deuteronomy 8:18, it is to establish God's covenant. God prospers us so that we can partner with the kingdom of God and the spread of the gospel by our giving. As God prospers you, a certain percentage of your income must go into the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our day. This is something you must be actively involved with to sustain your prosperity.

Secondly, as God prospers you, you ought to take good care of your family. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 5:8, "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." As God prospers you, He expects you to care for your family and those in your house. It is one of the reasons why God prospers you.

Thirdly, God prospers you so that you can be a blessing to many others. The Bible says in Genesis 12:2-3(AMP), "And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]. And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you] and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves]. [Gal. 3:8.]"

Therefore as God prospers you, make sure your prosperity achieves these three primary purposes.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me your Word today. I choose to pattern my life according to your truth by partnering with the gospel and being a blessing to my family and many others. Thank you Father for blessing me to be a blessing until all the families of the earth have been blessed in Jesus Name. Amen.

Work the blessing

"But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."

Deuteronomy 8:18

I will like you to establish it in your heart today that God wants you to prosper. Be conscious of the truth that God has given you the power to get wealth. Whatever you lay your hands to do should prosper because you have the power to get wealth. Realize that this is your heritage as a child of God.

The Bible says in Proverbs 10:22(GW), "It is the LORD'S blessing that makes a person rich, and hard work adds nothing to it." And then the Bible goes to say in Deuteronomy 28:12, "The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow."

Now that you know that the blessing of prosperity is on you, do not be idle. If nobody gave you a job, create one. Direct the blessing into that venture and watch it grow. You have a more sure Word. God has said that He will bless all the work of your hands. If your hands have no work there will be nothing for God to bless.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the power to get wealth. In the Name of Jesus, I command that power to release the blessing into all that I lay my hands to do for divine increase and prosperity in Jesus Name. Amen.

Renew your mind

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 12:2

If you must experience financial freedom, you must take personal responsibility for where you are. It does not matter what others may have told you or the bad advice you were given. You made a choice to listen and act on what you were told, whether they were right or wrong counsels.

Therefore, if you are going to move on in a life of prosperity and increase, you must begin now to renew your mind with the Word of God. That is the reason for all the teachings you have been receiving in this month's devotional. Use these truths to transform your thinking so that you can conceive God's will for your prosperity.

Why is it important for your mind to be renewed? It is important because your prosperity begins with your thinking. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …" One dear minster of the gospel said that there were many things their ministry could not do because his thinking was wrong. So, one day, God told him that he had been limiting Him by his thinking. When he heard that, he went and gathered scriptures on prosperity and for two years, he kept on reading scriptures on prosperity and meditating on them.

I encourage you to begin to do the same. Take out time to meditate on the Word of God until it becomes rooted in your heart. This is because it is the Word of God that takes root in your heart that will bear fruit in your life.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you because my heart is good ground for your Word. May your Word produce fruits of a hundred fold harvest in my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

The commandment of prosperity

"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" Genesis 3:17

From our opening scripture, it is obvious that suffering and shortage started after the fall of man. God cursed the ground when man fell, which meant that he would have to toil all his life. One of the reasons why man fell as shown to us from our opening scripture was because Adam choose to listen to the voice of his wife rather than the commandment given to him by God in Genesis 2:16-17, "…Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Therefore, if you are going to experience divine prosperity, the Word of God must have final authority in your life. God's Word and His principles for prosperity which you are learning in this month’s devotional must become a commandment to you for you to experience divine prosperity. What is a commandment? A commandment is a non negotiable obligation. It is not a suggestion. It is something that you must do. The Bible says in Psalm 112:1-3, "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever."

Gold is good

"And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: …"

Genesis 2:10-12

From our opening scripture today, we see another truth in the Word of God that debunks the belief that gold is evil. God created gold, therefore, gold is good. In fact the Lord Himself said in Haggai 2:8, "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts."

Another thing you need to understand is the law of first mention in scriptural interpretation. This law teaches that when a word is used for the first time in the Bible, what is said about it is what is used as a rule of interpretation for that thing throughout scripture.

It has been said in some quarters that after Exodus 32, God did not have anything to do with gold again because of the golden calf that was made by the children of Israel. They forget that in Exodus 35:5, God instructed Moses to collect offerings of gold from the people. Also in Exodus 37:2, the ark of God was overlaid with gold inside and outside. The utensils of worship in the temple were all made of pure gold (Exodus 37:16,17,22-24). Even the altar was made of gold in Exodus 40:5. In 1 Kings 7 when Solomon built the temple, he overlaid it with gold. Revelation 21:21, the last place in which gold is used in the Bible, shows us that even the streets of heaven shall be of pure gold. That is to say that there is gold in heaven. And we know that there is no evil in heaven.

Therefore, I encourage you to read your Bible and let the Bible define what you believe and not man's opinion.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I ask that you expose every seed of falsehood that have entered into my belief system in Jesus Name. Amen.

For further study read:

Acts 17:11, 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Doing the Word

Let what the Bible teaches form your opinion.

The truth about prosperity

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 8:31-32

From our opening scripture today, you will notice that lasting freedom is founded on truth. Whether it is financial or spiritual freedom, it has to be established on truth.

What is truth? Jesus said in John 17:17, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." This means that truth is the Word of God. Therefore, it is the truth of the Word of God you know that sets you free.

Knowledge is the key to liberty. Isaiah 5:13 says, "Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge …" This means that ignorance is bondage. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: …"

There are people who believe that God wants them to be poor. That wrong belief has entered into their sub conscious. Therefore, they think poor, talk poor and remain in poverty all their lives. Yet the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9, "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." That is truth in the Word of God. That is the knowledge that breaks the hold of poverty off your life.

Do not frustrate the grace of God. Jesus did not become poor so that you will remain poor. According to the Bible, He became poor for your sake, so that through His poverty you might become rich. To be poor here means to be indigent, beggarly or destitute. To be rich means to be wealthy and to increase with goods. In reality as a child of God, He has already made you rich in this life and He has abundantly supplied you with all good things. Meditate on this truth.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I receive your Word into my heart with meekness. I release my faith concerning your Word in 2 Corinthians 8:9. Jesus became poor for me, that I through His poverty might be rich. Therefore, every stronghold of poverty is broken from my mind. I embrace riches. My mind is open to abundance and increase in Jesus Name. Amen.

Stop the worry

"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" Matthew 6:25

From our opening scripture, the Lord is instructing you today to stop worrying about your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. If He could not take care of you, He would not tell you not to worry. God is big enough to provide what you shall eat, what you shall drink and what you shall put on.

Have you considered who God really is? Has any bird ever come to you for food? This is because God feeds the birds. Jesus said in Matthew 6:26, "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" When you know who God is, you will be at rest concerning your needs.

Matthew 6:30-33 says, "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Instruction

If you have any worries, write them down, get scriptures from the Word of God that speaks of their provision and meditate on them, then thank God for the supply.

For further study read:

Psalm 55:22, Philippians 4:6-8, 1 Peter 5:7.

Doing the Word

Don't forget to thank Him for His answers.

Divine supply

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:19

There was a day I got a call from someone very influential. He wanted me to come and see him after he heard the prophetic Word I gave in that particular year. The Spirit of the Lord did not release me to go. So, I did not go to see him even when I heard that he was able to give us free airtime once a week on radio at that time. I still did not violate divine leading.

Today, we are not just on that radio station once a week, we are on air everyday on that radio station and many others. You cannot compromise divine instruction or disobey God to go up or prosper as a child of God. To go in that way is to fall into a snare. You have actually limited yourself and what God can do in your life. Such prosperity is never permanent and it pierces those who fall into it with many griefs.

Come to the understanding that God is able to supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When you have that understanding, you will never be unwilling to give up whatever He tells you to give up because you know that whenever you give up anything for the Lord, that is the least He will ever give you.

Today, when people see all the things we are able to do as a ministry, they ask, "Who is sponsoring your ministry?" We answer, "God." He supplies all the needs of the ministry according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He can do the same for you if only you will learn to trust Him.

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that God is my source and He is able to supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen.

For further study read:

Psalm 23:1-6, Psalm 34:9-10, Psalm 84:11.

Doing the Word

You cannot be looking to man and God at the same time. Rest in divine supply.

Power to get wealth

"And beware lest you say in your [mind and] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth. But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."

Deuteronomy 8:17-18(AMP)

As a child of God, you must always remember the source of your wealth. It is not your power or the might of your hands. The power to get wealth comes from God.

Someone came to me one time and asked me if he should stop an ungodly business that he was engaged in. I knew he had to stop it so I told him to write down the amount he makes in that business, lift it before God and God would pay him.

What was the principle in scripture that made me confident to tell him to do that? You will find it in 2 Chronicles 25. When Amaziah the king of Judah at that time wanted to go to war, he hired 100,000 mighty men of valor from Israel for 100 talents of silver. The man of God came to him and instructed him by the Word of the Lord not to go to war with the men of Israel he hired, so he asked the man of God in 2 Chronicles 25:9, "…But what shall we do about the 100 talents which I have given to the army of Israel? The man of God answered, The Lord is able to give you much more than this." Amaziah obeyed and went to war without the 100,000 men of Israel and God still gave him victory.

This should let you know that whenever God tells you to give up something, it is because He wants to give you much more. As a Christian, do not continue in that illegitimate business you were into before you got born again. Give it up for the Lord, and He will give you much more than that. He will give you the power to get wealth.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the power to get wealth. I vow to establish your covenant with my personal involvement and finances to see to it that the gospel of salvation spreads more and more until all the families of the earth have been blessed in Jesus Name. Amen.

For further study read:

Luke 3:12-14, Luke 19:8-10, Ephesians 4:28

Doing the Word

If you are involved in any illegitimate business, it is time to stop it.

Expect increase

"And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field." Genesis 39:5

I will like you to notice from our opening scripture that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. That meant that the blessing on Joseph brought increase to his master's house and business.

As long as Joseph was a leader or overseer in Potiphar's house, there was increase. That is one of the evidences of divine prosperity at work in a man's life. Divine prosperity is the blessing at work in your life to bring increase and progress into all that you do. Are you experiencing increase in that which has been committed to you as a leader?

I want you to know that Joseph did not need to pray for the blessing to work. It worked on its own. When the blessing is on you, it should automatically bring increase into whatever you lay your hands to do as a child of God.

Consider the life of Abraham that was blessed by the Lord. The blessing on him brought so much increase that the Bible records in the testimony of Abraham's servant saying, "And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses." Genesis 24:35. That will be the testimony of your life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the blessing of the Lord upon my life is bringing forth increase and prosperity into all that is committed to my trust and all that I lay my hands to do. Thank you Father for I am moving upward and forward by the blessing. Amen.

Prosperity by the spirit.

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

Joshua 1:8

I heard the story of a Christian lady who became the richest woman in Asia at a particular time. She was from an orphanage. She said she built her life on two scriptures: John 10:10 and Ephesians 3:20. There was a time she made a business decision by the spirit. Some renowned economists who knew about her business mocked her for making such a decision. Some years later when they saw that her decision turned out to be a sound decision, they came to her and asked her how she knew the trouble that was coming. She said that she had an intuition from the Holy Spirit to make the decision she made.

Do you want to minimize your losses and mistakes? Then partner with the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in John 16:13, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."

Kenneth Hagin spoke about the young man who when he started listening to his messages had only fifty dollars to his name. In seven years, that same man was worth seven million. How did he get there? From culturing his spirit with the Word of God. He said whenever he wanted to make a business decision, he does not just rush to make any decision. He took his time to pray about it and meditated on the Word of God before making any business decision or investment. He said some deals might look lucrative and promising but if he had a witness of the spirit not to invest in it, he left it, and most times, such businesses crashed. By so doing, he said he never missed any investment opportunity.

How to profit.

How to profit.

"Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go."

Isaiah 48:17

Our opening scripture shows us that God can teach us how to make profit if we only allow Him to lead us in the way that we should go. There are so many ideas in the realm of the spirit. All God needs is someone to get it.

There are some of you reading this today, all you need to get out of that financial dryness you are in right now is just one instruction. God can just tell you to move your shop from where you are right now to a place that He will reveal to you, and within six months as you follow that instruction, you can become a millionaire.

Just one idea from God can totally change your financial fortunes. I read of a woman that was in poverty, but while she prayed to God because of her challenges, God taught her how to work with clay. Today she has so many workers and she has become a millionaire in America just from working with clay.

A man of God was praying for one of his spiritual sons that was going through financial challenges. As he laid hands on him, the man heard water. Immediately after he was prayed for, he went into the water business. Today he is wealthy and prosperous.

When God gives you a divine instruction, know that He is the One who sees the future and has considered all the facts, present, past and future. His conclusions are perfect. He can never make a mistake so trust Him when He guides you.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me ideas, insights and concepts that will overcome this world and bring me into my wealthy place and fetch me an income for a lifetime in Jesus Name. Amen.

Partnering with God.

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"

Isaiah 1:19

The reason why some of God's children are not moving forward the way they want to is because they have not understood the place of perpetual obedience. In the realm of the spirit, nothing remains static. Everything that remains static deteriorates.

Divine prosperity is prospering in partnership with God. Do not try to live your life without divine guidance. Let God lead you and guide you, giving you ideas, insights and concepts on the way you should go in life. When you study through the scriptures, you will discover that those who were willing and obedient to the divine guidance of God for their lives all became great.

Divine prosperity does not just come because of your natural knowledge or human connections. It comes as a result of your relationship with God. For instance, the Bible says in Jeremiah 10:21, "For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, …" The Message translation puts it this way, "It's because our leaders are stupid. They never asked GOD for counsel, And so nothing worked right…"

Do you ask God for counsel before making your decisions? Or you make your decisions from the look of things in the natural. If you are planning to start a business, have you asked God for counsel? If you are planning to relocate to another city, have you asked God for counsel? If you are planning to choose a spouse, have you asked God for counsel? From today, in order for you to always be in the center of God's will for your life, do not make your decisions without first asking God for counsel.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I ask that you fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that I may walk worthy of you, pleasing you in every way, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of you in Jesus Name. Amen.

A hundred times more.

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him."

Genesis 26:12

Isaac was functioning under divine instruction. Therefore, the blessing was activated. He sowed seed in a dry land that was devastated by famine and the Bible says that he received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

This is divine prosperity at work, because naturally, there was no way Isaac would have been able to receive a hundred times what he sowed in a time of famine. This reveals the possibilities we have as sons of God.

The Bible says in Galatians 4:28, "Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise." Therefore under this dispensation of grace that we are in, we are like Isaac. I will encourage you to release your faith for this because since we are like Isaac, it is possible for you to get to the end of the year and be a hundred times richer than you are right now.

When you are functioning in the blessing, you are functioning as though there is no curse. So from today, I want you to live your life with the understanding that you are not a victim of the economy of this nation. Therefore, no matter the economic status of the nation, it should not affect your prosperity because you are functioning under heaven's economy.

Obey God

"Stay here in this land and I'll be with you and bless you…"

Genesis 26:3(MSG)

Our opening scripture was the instruction that God gave to Isaac. He wanted to move out of Gerar because of the famine in the land, but God told him to stay in Gerar. This is because when you are where God wants you to be, blessings are inevitable.

God also spoke to Isaac saying in Genesis 26:3-5(MSG), "… I'm giving you and your children all these lands, fulfilling the oath that I swore to your father Abraham. I'll make your descendants as many as the stars in the sky and give them all these lands. All the nations of the Earth will get a blessing for themselves through your descendants. And why? Because Abraham obeyed my summons and kept my charge--my commands, my guidelines, my teachings."" I want you to notice why God said He was going to do all the things He said He would do for Isaac and his descendants: "Because Abraham obeyed my summons and kept my charge--my commands, my guidelines, my teachings." This teaches us that obedience has transgenerational impact.

Genesis 26:24(AMP) says, "And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will favor you with blessings and multiply your descendants for the sake of My servant Abraham."

Therefore, one of the reasons you should obey divine instructions is not just because of you, but because of your children. Your obedience today can determine the favour your children will enjoy tomorrow. It pays to obey God.

Dear Father, I thank you because your grace is sufficient for me both to will and to do of all your good pleasure in Jesus Name. Amen.

Do you tithe?

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Malachi 3:10

There is a particular ministry in America which owed about six million dollars some years back. As the Pastor fasted and prayed for guidance, the Lord instructed that the ministry should begin to give ten percent of their income. When the ministry started tithing, they prospered. They paid up the six million dollar debt and they are still prospering.

Do you tithe as an individual? If you are a business man or woman, does your business tithe? If you are involved in the ministry, does your ministry tithe? Tithing is a kingdom obligation if you are going to walk in divine prosperity. Those who do not tithe, whether as individuals, or as a business or ministry, are transgressing God's principle for divine prosperity.

When you refuse to tithe, you have refused to acknowledge God as your source. Remember that divine prosperity is traceable to obedience to divine instructions. A dear minister of the gospel said, "The instruction you obey is what determines the future that you create." Decisions determine destiny. Choices have consequences. The Bible says in Proverbs 13:15, "Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard." I encourage you to follow the way of understanding, not the way of transgressors.

Your connection to prosperity.

"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

Romans 8:32

There is nothing you need that you cannot get from God. As a child of God, you are under God's economy and God's economy is superior to the economy of the world or the nation in which you live. The blessing is your connection to the economy of heaven.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18, "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." It is God that gives you the empowerment and the ability to get wealth, not the economy of the country where you live. This is something you need to understand as a child of God because there are those who have wrongly believed that they have to travel to Europe or America in order to be prosperous. No sir.

In Genesis 26, the Bible reveals to us that there was a famine in the land where Isaac the carrier of the blessing lived. As a result, he wanted to relocate to Egypt. God appeared to him and instructed Isaac to remain in the land of famine and he obeyed that divine instruction. As he did, he prospered greatly.

This shows us that divine prosperity is tied to your obedience to divine instruction. I remember the story of a minister of the gospel who was sent by God to America to start a Church in Houston but he went and started the Church close to Houston, not directly in Houston. As a result, the Church never grew. So, while he was praying, the Lord said to him, "Go to Houston, not near Houston." When he finally went to Houston, his church increased greatly. If you do not want to die in frustration, locate the instruction necessary for your promotion.

Prayer.

No excuses.

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

3 John 1:2

Do not buy into any excuse why you should not prosper and make great progress as a child of God. The Word of God already shows you that above all things God wants you to prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. God wants you to prosper in all realms of human existence. He wants you to prosper in whatever you lay your hands to do, which includes your finances. He wants you to prosper in your health, which includes your body. This means that your body should be fruitful and vibrant. He also wants you to prosper in your soul, which is the possession of your spirit. God wants you to prosper in every way so do not give any excuse for mediocrity.

Worldly statistics has shown that 80% of the world's richest men are from poor and average families. Also, it has been discovered that 75% of the world's greatest leaders were people from abject poverty. Some of them were sexually molested, while some others were physically challenged by some form of deformity in their bodies.

Therefore, do not make any excuse why you should not go far in life. Excuses and alibi are celebrated only in the camp of failures. Be inspired by men like Nick Vujicic, the Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. He has no arms or legs yet he is prosperous today. You can overcome every insurmountable odd on the path to greatness that God has destined for you. The greater the challenges before you, the greater your destiny. This is because satan fights the hardest what he fears the most. Change your attitude and decide to become your best inspite of all odds.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I thank you because you have empowered me to prosper in all realms of life. I prosper in all I lay my hands to do and in my finances. I prosper in my body; from the crown of my head, to the soles of my feet, every one of my organs is inundated with the life of God and health. I prosper in my mind and my spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

Leviticus 26:9, Numbers 6:24-27, Deuteronomy 30:8-9.

Doing the Word

Think thoughts of prosperity and progress.

Righteous prosperity.

"THERE WAS a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who [reverently] feared God and abstained from and shunned evil [because it was wrong]."
Job 1:1(AMP)

Another example of a man who functioned in divine prosperity in the Bible is Job. Our opening scripture shows us the kind of man he was "…that man was blameless and upright, and one who [reverently] feared God and abstained from and shunned evil [because it was wrong]." This means that you do not have to be a fraudster to prosper. You can prosper in righteousness.

The outcome of Job's life as he walked in righteousness is shown to us in Job 1:3(AMP), "He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and a very great body of servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the East." The outcome of Job's life was greatness.

Let me explain to you vividly how prosperous job was. The Bible says he had 7,000 sheep and 3,000 camels. Camels at that time were used as a means of transportation. So, camels would mean trailers in our day. That is to say that Job had 3,000 trailers. He was a big business man, yet he was a righteous man. He also had 500 yoke of oxen which would mean tractors in our day because oxen were used then to plough the field. So he was into mechanized farming. He also had 500 female donkeys which were like vehicles used to distribute goods for sales. He also had a great body of servants, in other words numerous employees. See how great the blessing made him.

I want you to know that serving God and prioritizing righteousness have benefits. You can deal righteously and still be the greatest in your field. The Bible says in Job 22:22-25, "If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver."

Prayer

In the Name of Jesus, Father, I commit to continue walking righteously and I turn away from every wrong way. I cast away all confidence and trust in material things and money. You are my source, my gold, my treasure and my large supply of every good thing. Amen.

God wants you to prosper.

"By now Abraham was old, and the LORD had blessed him in every way."

Genesis 24:1

Do you know that there are some people who hold erroneous beliefs that you have to be poor if you are close to God. That is a lie of the devil to keep God's people in bondage. Abraham was so close to God that God made reference to him as His friend in Isaiah 41:8, yet he was not poor, but rather, he was blessed in every way.

God is not against riches. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9, "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." God wants you as a child of God to be abundantly supplied with all good things. What God does not want is for you to trust in riches. Do not trust in riches. Trust in God, He is the One who makes rich.

In Matthew 6:31-33, the Bible says, "Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." God wants you to eat, drink and be well clothed, so do not go after such things. Let the kingdom of God and His righteousness be your priority and every other good thing shall be added unto you.

Therefore, your priority is what determines your prosperity. Divine prosperity is a function of priorities. Today, I encourage you to reorder your priority and make the kingdom of God and his righteousness your obsession.

Prayer

Dear Father, I cast down all my cares and worries because I know that by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ I am rich. Therefore, I am abundantly supplied with all good things in Jesus Name. Amen.

A blessed life.

"And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses."

Genesis 24:35

The final outcome of your life is tied to the blessing on you. Our opening scripture shows us what the final outcome of the life of every child of God should look like. Just like Abraham, the blessing for divine prosperity on your life should cause you to become great.

In the Word of God, there is the legal aspect and the vital aspect. The legal aspect refers to what is written, while the vital aspect refers to what you are experiencing based on what is written in the Word of God in your life. Every child of God, according to what is written in Ephesians 1:3 is blessed, "… with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:" This shows you that all the blessings in Christ are already on you. That is the legal aspect. The vital aspect of this truth then is, how much of this blessing are you enjoying as a child of God?

You have to factor into the grace of God and learn to recognize God as your only source for you to see and enjoy the vital aspect of the life of abundance because true riches comes form God.

Abraham recognized God as his source and the Bible says in Genesis 24:35(GW), "…The LORD has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female slaves, camels and donkeys." There is nothing that God cannot give you if only you will factor into His grace and truly recognize Him as your source.

Prayer

The prosperity of fools...

"For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them." Proverbs 1:32

The Bible shows us in our opening scripture that the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. How does this happen? When a man is a sinner, if he gets more money, he will sin more because money amplifies character. If he was smoking cigarettes before, when he gets more money he will go for cocaine and harder drugs. By so doing, he will die quicker. Therefore, his prosperity is what is destroying him.

The Bible says in Psalm 92:6-7, "A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:" When you see a wicked man prospering, do not envy him, destruction awaits him.

In Psalm 69:2 the Bible says, "Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap." While the prosperity of the wicked do lead them to their own destruction, the prosperity of the righteous establishes God's will on the earth and brings him more blessings. Psalm 35:27 says, "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant."

Don't envy the wicked.

"For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked."

Psalm 73:3

The Psalmist in our opening scripture became envious when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. Are you like that? Do you envy the prosperity of the wicked? Does it bother you to know that the ungodly are cheating and living in sin, yet they seem to be prospering in their wickedness? That was the dilemma in which the Psalmist found himself when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. You will see this in Psalm 73:13-20(GNB), "Is it for nothing, then, that I have kept myself pure and have not committed sin? O God, you have made me suffer all day long; every morning you have punished me. If I had said such things, I would not be acting as one of your people. I tried to think this problem through, but it was too difficult for me until I went into your Temple. Then I understood what will happen to the wicked. You will put them in slippery places and make them fall to destruction! They are instantly destroyed; they go down to a horrible end. They are like a dream that goes away in the morning; when you rouse yourself, O Lord, they disappear."

The wicked will never end well. That is why I never envy the wicked no matter how high they rise or how Don't envy the wicked.

True prosperity

"Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches."

Psalm 73:12

For the people of this world, prosperity is simply increase in riches or amassing more and more money. So what does prosperity really mean? Prosperity is from the Hebrew word, 'tsalach,’ which means to 'break forward.' This suggests that prosperity means to make progress. Therefore, every form of progress you make as a child of God is prosperity.

The ungodly do not judge prosperity that way. They judge prosperity by how much money they can store up. So they do everything they can to keep on amassing more money. Do not let your trust be in the increase of riches. The Bible says in Psalm 62:10, "Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them."

There are several stories of men and women who became very rich in the world at one time. Each one of them died broke. They ended their lives broke. People like Hedy Lemarr, Garry Coleman, Joe Louis, and even the popular Michael Jackson. When Michael Jackson died in 2009, he reportedly owed an estimated 500 million dollars. That should let you know that there is more to prosperity than amassing money. Instead of going after money, go after the blessing of the Lord. The Bible says in Proverbs 10:22, "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."

One of the ways to activate and sustain this blessing in your life is by tithing. Do you tithe ten percent from all your income? Your tithe is not yours. It belongs to God. When you tithe, you are acknowledging God as your source. The Bible says in Malachi 3:10, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

Divine prosperity

"And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; …"
Genesis 39:1-2

I want you to know today that there is such a thing as divine prosperity. This refers to prosperity by divine input. This means that you become prosperous by God's involvement in your life. That was the kind of prosperity Joseph had, as seen in our opening scripture. It is not the kind of prosperity you get just by human connections or academic qualifications. That is natural prosperity. The prosperity that was at work in Joseph's life was divine prosperity. He was a slave, yet he became a prosperous man.

2 Chronicles 26:5 shows us the secret of Uzziah's prosperity. The Bible says, "And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper." Divine prosperity is founded solely on God.

Natural prosperity is not founded on God or the principles of the Word of God. To prosper naturally in most cases, some people steal, cheat and deceive others in other to increase in riches. The Bible speaks about this in Psalm 73:1-12. When you see people prospering without God, don't envy them because the Bible says in Psalm 127:1, "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain."

Natural prosperity can only go as far as your scheming can take you. It ends where your connections end. But divine prosperity is permanent prosperity; you will go farther than anyone can take you. The grace for such prosperity is what God has released upon us this year. It is time to learn how to activate this grace for divine prosperity.

Prayer.

Dear Father I thank you for the great grace for prosperity that you have released on me this year. I ask that as I act upon your Word and the principles of divine prosperity, may I be empowered for a supernatural change of status for progress in every area of my life in Jesus Name. Amen.
