The right mindset.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …”
Proverbs 23:7
Your greatest limitation in your journey of advancement and prosperity is in your mind. This is why the Bible says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …” So, how do you think concerning your provision? Do you see God as your source? Is that your mindset? This is important because your mindset decides from the outset the outcome of your life.
When you observe the life of Joseph in the scriptures, you will notice that he never complained when he was brought down to Egypt because he had the right mindset. He had an understanding of divine prosperity. That is the understanding you need to excel wherever you are. This understanding will give you a mindset that gives you such confidence that wherever you are if God is there, you will prosper.
See how the Bible describes the life of Joseph even when it looked as though he was in a disadvantaged circumstance, divine prosperity was still at work. The Bible says, “And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmaelites, which had brought him down thither. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.” Genesis 39:1-3. This does not describe prosperity by your effort. This is prosperity by God's involvement in your life.
Prayer.
Dear Father, I choose to maintain the right attitude irrespective of my circumstances. I believe I receive grace to excel, to make progress and to prosper wherever I am and in whatever I lay my hands to do. Thank you Father for divine prosperity is at work in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
