A Bountiful Eye

A WORD IN DUE SEASON

Saturday, April 21st, 2018

A Bountiful Eye.

“He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.”
Proverbs 28:27

Giving to the poor also facilitates the favour of God in your life. Do not turn away from helping those who are less privileged around you. Find a way to help them. It is one of the ways you can perpetuate favour and the blessing in your life.

Proverbs 22:9 says, “He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.” Know that every time you help someone that is less privileged than you, you provoke a blessing.
Proverbs 19:17 says, “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.”

Also, it is important for you to give to your parents.
Exodus 20:12 says, “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.” Some people honour only their father or their mother, God commands that you honour them both. Even if your parents are separated, God still expects you to
honour them both.

“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.”
Ephesians 6:2-3. According to this verse, if it is not well with you, I can trace it to your disobedience of this commandment of honouring your parents. The scriptures cannot be broken. John was the apostle of Jesus that lived the longest; he was the one that took care of Jesus mother. They tried to kill him, but they could not. He was the one who honoured Jesus mother. Therefore, I encourage you to honour your parents.

Instruction.

consistently as God has blessed you and you will continue to increase.
