Be Favour Conscious 7

“Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house. And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.”
Esther 5:1-3.

Favour gives territorial authority. Therefore, you cannot have favour and be small. Our opening scripture shows us that Esther put on her royal robes; our royal robes as Christians is righteousness which gives us right standing before God. Just as Esther found favour in the sight of the king, you also have found favour in the sight of God.

When someone finds favour in your sight, there is a way you see them. It doesn't matter how others see them, what matters is how you see them because they have found favour in your sight. Now that you have found favour in God's sight, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about you, what matters is that you are favoured in God's sight so accept yourself as the righteousness of God because that is how God sees you in Christ. When you accept the fact that you are righteous in God's sight, you procure favour.

Esther came before the king and obtained favour before him which also gave her territorial authority. The king said to her "What wilt thou, Queen Esther, and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom." Esther 5:3. Favour leads to territorial authority. I pray that such favour will rest on you today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Instruction.
Read Nehemiah 1:11 and thank God for giving you favour before influential people by His favour.

For further study, read:
Genesis 39:1-5, Psalm 5:12, Acts 7:9-10.

Doing the Word
Accept the fact that you are the righteousness of God; see yourself and relate with God with that consciousness.

Be Favour Conscious 6

“And of Asher he said: "Asher is most blessed of sons; let him be favored by his brothers, and let him dip his foot in oil.”
Deuteronomy 33:24 (NKJV)

Today I want you to know that favour makes you exceptional. This means that favour makes you a favorite. Whenever God favours you, people will begin to celebrate you. This is why the English Standard Version renders our opening scripture thus, “And of Asher he said, "Most blessed of sons be Asher; let him be the favorite of his brothers, and let him dip his foot in oil.”

The favour of God made Asher a favorite. He is declared to be the most blessed of sons. What does it mean to be blessed? It means to be endowed with favour. The Blessing is a spoken declaration of favour.

Every child of God is blessed because God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. But from what we see today in our opening scripture, it means that among Christians, you can be more Blessed.
It is when favour is at work you become a favorite. For instance, every Christian is loved of God but in the midst of all Christians you can be exceptionally favoured by others. May God’s favour on your life make you a favorite among others.

Instruction.
Read Genesis 30:22-24, Psalm 106:4, Isaiah 60:10 and ask God to remember you by His favour and grant you that which your heart fondly wishes for.

For further study, read:
Luke 1:28, Genesis 39:1-2, 2 Chronicles 1:1,
1 Peter 2:9.

Be Favour Conscious 5

“But Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?" He answered, "Because the Lord your God granted me success."
Genesis 27:20 (ESV)

Favour gives speed. God's favour on you hastens the fulfillment of His Word in your life. Isaiah 60:22 (NIV) says, “The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly." This is the time of God's favour and His will is accelerated concerning you, in the Name of Jesus.

Be favour conscious because favour guarantees restoration. If there is anything missing in your life, favour can bring restoration. When Absalom, the son of David, rebelled against him to seize the throne, as David left Jerusalem he said to Zadok the Priest, “… Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation:” 2 Samuel 15:25. Surely, by the favour of God on David, he was restored again to the throne.

Favour is what makes all things work together for good.

Instruction.
Read Psalm 85:1-5, 1 Kings 13:6 and ask God to restore whatever is missing or out of place in your life spiritually, financially, mentally, physically, maritally,  etc. by His favour.

For further study, read:
Genesis 20:7-14, 2 Kings 13:4 (ESV),
2 Chronicles 33:10-13, Nehemiah 5:11-12,
 Jeremiah 30:17.

Doing the Word
Thank your heavenly father for giving you the restoration you have requested for today.

Be Favour Conscious 4

“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.”
Psalm 44:3.

Our opening scripture shows us that favour is the key to landed properties. God's favour on you empowers you to possess landed properties. Deuteronomy 33:23 says, “And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.”

Be favour conscious because favour makes people like you. In Esther 2:15 the Bible says, “Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.” Expect the favour of God on you to cause you to obtain favour in the sight of all them that look upon you. When people like you, they do what you ask.

Favour can also lead to church growth according to Acts 2:47, “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

Instruction.
Read Acts 2:47 and Esther 2:15 and ask God to give you favour with people everywhere you go.

For further study, read:
Ruth 2:1-23, Nehemiah 1:11, Esther 2:17.

Doing the Word
Expect the favour of God to give you with ease what others struggle to get.

Be Favour Conscious 3

“Then he said, "O Lord God of my master Abraham, please give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.”
Genesis 24:12 (NKJV)

Be favour conscious because favour facilitates prosperity. This was what Abraham's servant was conscious of that was why he prayed and asked God to show kindness or favour to his master Abraham by prospering his journey. Expect God to prosper you because you have found favour in His sight. Favour puts an end to financial frustration.

Being favour conscious will also facilitate your marriage if you are single or marital harmony if you are married. Expect God's favour to give you favour with your appointed one if you are single because it is favour that makes marriage happen. If you are married expect to have favour with your spouse. The Bible shows us in Deuteronomy 24:1 that one of the reasons for divorce is a loss of favour. “When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.”

May God give you favour for prosperity and favour for marriage and marital harmony in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Instruction.
Read Deuteronomy 24:1, Esther 2:17, Proverbs 18:22 and thank God for giving you favour with your spouse or your appointed one.

For further study, read:
Deuteronomy 8:17-18, Exodus 3:21-22 (ESV), Exodus 12:35-36 (ESV), 1 Kings 11:19.

Be Favour Conscious 2

“And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.”
Genesis 39:3-6.

Today I want to show you another reason why you should live favour conscious. Favour brings promotion because favour will cause you to become effective on your job. If you want to have favour with your boss then you must factor into favour. Favour always comes before promotion and loss of favour always comes before demotion.

When you read our opening scripture, you will observe that it was favour that caused Joseph to be promoted in the house of Potiphar his master who made him overseer over his house. The favour of God upon the life of Joseph was what made him effective and caused all that he did to prosper in his hand. I pray for you that God will put such favour on your life that will cause all you do to prosper in your hand and bring you to a high place of authority, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. May the force field of favour around you be manifested consistently, in the Name of Jesus.

Instruction.
Read Genesis 39:3-4 and Ezra 7:28 and thank your heavenly Father for giving you favour that causes all you do to prosper in your hand.

For further study, read:
Genesis 39:20-23, 1 Samuel 18:5, Psalm 89:17,

Be Favour Conscious 1

“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
Psalm 5:12.

I believe that if you have been reading and applying what you have been learning in this devotional this month you ought to have become really favour conscious by now. This is important because whatever you are conscious of, you attract. Also, whatever dominates your mind, you become conscious of.

Let the favour of God dominate your mind because when the favour of God is on your life, it preserves your life because it prevents misfortune.

In Ezra 8:31, Ezra testified that the grace of God upon them protected them from their enemies, “Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.”
Be conscious of God's favour on your life which is able to preserve and protect you from all enemies round about.

Instruction.
Read Psalm 5:12 and Psalm 30:7 and thank God for His protective favour upon your life. Thank Him for protecting you and every member of your family from all evil in all your ways.

For further study, read:
Genesis 19:19-21 (ESV), Psalm 3:3, Psalm 84:11.

Doing the Word
Fear no evil and be conscious of divine protection. Declare Psalm 91 over you and your family.

Recognize The Grace

“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.”
2 Corinthians 6:1.

When you don't recognize the grace of God upon your life, it becomes useless. One of the ways you recognize grace is to talk about it. There are many Christians who do not talk about the grace of God working in them and through them.

In the book of Nehemiah and Ezra you will repeatedly hear them talk about the good hand of the Lord that was upon them granting them favour with the king, favour with other men, giving them protection, etc.

Ezra testified of God's grace that gave him favour with the king, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put it into the king's heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way and who has extended his good favor to me before the king and his advisers and all the king's powerful officials. Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.” Ezra 7:27-28 (NIV). This is recognizing the grace of God. Instead of talking about your problems and challenges, I encourage you to start recognizing the grace of God on your life.

Instruction.
Read 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 and ask God to glorify Himself through your life by manifesting His character and power through your life.

For further study, read:
Ezra 7:6, Ezra 8:18, 22, 31, Nehemiah 2:8, 18.

Factor Into Grace

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me”
1 Corinthians 15:10.

Grace is the outworking of the divine influence. It is the divine influence working in your life. For instance, if you are a singer who have written five hundred songs in two years, that is the grace of God working through you.

Paul in our opening scripture helps us to see that it is the grace of God that makes you what God has called you to do. There is grace to be a pastor, a doctor, an athlete, etc. This is why I always encourage people to find out what their destiny is, assess the grace they need in God and they will become unstoppable.

If you are not reigning in your field, you are not functioning in your grace. Romans 5:17 says, “… they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” It takes grace to reign. The reason why many are struggling is because they've not yet factored into grace. They are not walking in partnership with the Holy Spirit who is the spirit of grace. It is through the Holy Spirit we are empowered to be, do or have all that God has ordained for us to be, do or have.

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.”
Zechariah 4:6-7.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I receive the supply of Your Spirit and grace towards me today so that everything You want to do in me and through me shall be done, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Philippians 4:13, Ephesians 6:10,

Be Strong

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”
Ephesians 3:16.

The prayer Paul prayed for the Ephesian church is one prayer you need to pray for yourself consistently if you do not want to experience spiritual weakness. If you are weak spiritually, this is one prayer you need to pray to come out of that weakness.

If Paul prayed for some in the church to be strong, it means that it is possible to be weak in your inward man. So the reason why many Christians struggle is because they are spiritually weak. Weakness in your spirit can lead to an immoral lifestyle.

There are those who are mentally weak; they are forgetful and lack creativity. Others are physically weak because they are always sick. If you are experiencing any of such weaknesses, I encourage you to pray the prayer in our opening scripture consistently and God will strengthen you with might by His Spirit in your inward man against all weakness in the spirit, physically and mentally.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You strengthen me with might according to the riches of Your glory by Your Spirit in my inward man. I am strengthened against all weakness in my spirit. I am strengthened in my body and I am strengthened mentally, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lean On God's Grace

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…”
2 Corinthians 12:9.

When God says in our opening scripture  “My grace is sufficient for thee”, the word 'sufficient' in the Greek means enough. It also means 'to put you over'. This means that grace gives you the capacity to win. It produces in you the transcending life. God's grace on your life gives you the empowerment to live beyond human limitations.

God also says in our opening scripture, “for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” The word 'strength' in the Greek means power. Therefore God is saying to you that His power is made perfect in weakness. God's power finds perfect expression in you when you are weak. That is why you will observe that those who were very weak before they got saved, become very strong after they were saved. It is the case of God's power finding perfect expression in their weakness.

The Message Bible puts 2 Corinthians 12:9 this way, “And then he told me, My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness. Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness.”

If you learn to rely on God's grace, it will compensate for your weaknesses; spiritual, mental and physical. If you were forgetful, expect grace to compensate and make you smarter.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

For further study, read:
2 Corinthians 3:5-6, 2 Corinthians 12:10,
1 Timothy 1:12-14.

Doing the Word

The Unction To Function

“Of this [Gospel] I was made a minister according to the gift of God's free grace (undeserved favor) which was bestowed on me by the exercise (the working in all its effectiveness) of His power.”
 Ephesians 3:7 (AMP).

The anointing of God upon your life as an individual was given to you by God as a gift of grace in order for you to produce divine results. When the anointing for your specific assignment is on you, you will see the results.

This is why some call the anointing the unction to function. You cannot claim to have an anointing that is not working. If the anointing is there, the results will show because a tree is known by its fruit.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:16, “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” The anointing is the root, so if you have it, there will be fruit. When the Apostles in Jerusalem heard and saw the results in the life of the Apostle Paul, they gave him a right hand of fellowship. The anointing on him produced the fruit of his ministry. One time he said, “Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.”   2 Corinthians 12:12. I encourage you to function with the unction for your assignment. That is where your greatest effectiveness lies.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask for the supply of Your Spirit towards me today for greater effectiveness in that which You have called me to do, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Recognize The Anointing

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

Jesus was letting His disciples know in our opening scripture that when they receive the anointing, they will be able to be what they were born to be. This means that the anointing is the divine empowerment to be, do or have all that God has ordained for you to be, do or have.

That means without recognizing and functioning in the anointing on your life, you may not fulfill your destiny.

Saul needed the anointing for him to become the king of Israel. ”Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the Lord hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?” You need the anointing to be able to do what you have been born to do.

Jesus was anointed to fulfill His destiny. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38.

Paul made us see in 1 Corinthians 15:10 (AMP) that the reason why he was able to do all he did was because of the anointing and the grace of God upon his life. “But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for Your grace (Your unmerited favour and Blessing) upon me. I submit myself to Your grace today to empower me to be, do and have all you have ordained for me to be do and have, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Spirit Of Grace

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Luke 4:18-19.

One of the definitions of grace is unmerited favour but another definition of grace is ability. Grace is an empowerment. It is the supernatural empowerment to do effortlessly what is humanly or naturally impossible.

When you read through the Bible, you will discover that one of the ways the grace of God can be activated on your life is by the anointing. What is an anointing? An anointing is a supernatural or divine empowerment to carry out a God-given assignment.

For everything God has called you to do, there is an anointing to do it and until you learn how to receive, function and flow in that anointing, you may never fulfill your destiny. The anointing on your life is the blessing and grace of God on your life. Therefore, receive, function and flow in the anointing and you will become all God has made you to be, you will be empowered to do all God has called you to do and you will have all that God has ordained for you to have.

Instruction.
Read Isaiah 32:15 and Ezekiel 34:26 and ask God for a rain of the Spirit on your life that will increase your productivity in every area of your life and God-given assignment.

Don't Cover Your Sins

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
1 John 1:8.

Today I will like to encourage you based on the Word of God not to keep sin secret or try to cover your sin. If you are trying to cover your sins, it means you don't know God and you are not yet perfect in His love for you.

The Bible says, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13.

Stop the pretense and come to God sincerely just the way you are. You don't need to try to make yourself perfect before you come. Just come as you are. That was what the prodigal son did in Luke 15:18 where he said, “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,” As he came to his father with a repentant heart, the Bible says, “… But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” Before he confessed his sins, his father already embraced him and began to kiss him, which is a show of intimacy. As he confessed his sins, his father began instructing the servants, “… Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:”     Luke 15:22.

The best robe is the father's robe, yet the father asked that his robe should be put on this prodigal son who did not deserve to be a son, rather a servant. He never asked for it but the father clothed him with favour, he put a ring in his hand and shoes on his feet. That is what your heavenly Father is ready to do for you today if only you can come to him with a sincere heart. God will never turn you away when you come to Him with a repentant heart. His arms are always open to receive all that will come to Him today in faith.

Instruction.
Confess all secrets faults before God and do not hide anything from Him.

Favour Towards The Undeserving

“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”
Romans 5:10.

God's dealings with the Apostle Peter in the scriptures inspite of his mistakes was to reveal to us that He is a God of grace.

After Jesus had risen from the dead, one day Peter said to the others, “… I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.” John 21:3. At this time, they were not supposed to be fishing but because of the decision Peter took, they were out in the sea fishing again.

When Jesus appeared to them in their disobedience, the first thing He did was not to reprimand them, instead He first reached out to them in love and called them children; “… Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.” John 21:5. He still chose to favour them after they had toiled all night without success, He said, “… Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.” John 21:6. He is saying to you that even when you don't deserve it, He is still willing to help you prosper.

As the disciples came to meet Jesus on the shore they met Him preparing breakfast for them, “As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine.” John 21:9-10,12. He fed them in disobedience. What an expression of unconditional love, favour and grace to the undeserving? He did this for them because of us. He wants us to see how much He loves His own and unwilling to abandon them. Come to your Lord today. Come home to Him today with faith in His love even though you may feel unworthy. He will receive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Instruction.

He's Not Condemning You

“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”
John 8:3-11.

If Jesus could have mercy on the woman that was brought to Him in our opening scripture after she was caught in the very act of adultery, how much more will He favour you if you are born again?
Jesus said to the woman, “… Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” John 8:11. Jesus is letting you know today that He is not the One condemning you because He bore your condemnation on Himself. The Bible says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.

Romans 8:33-34 says, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”

God is giving you another chance because it is not over for you. He is calling you to come boldly to the throne of grace because He is the God of all grace; that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Instruction.
Repent of your sins and you can also rededicate your life to God by praying the prayer of salvation on page 66.

The True View Of God

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16.

Today I want you to change every wrong view of God because the God you are dealing with is not a hater, He is a lover.

Our opening scripture reveals that God was willing to let go of His best for the undeserving. How much more you His child if you are born again? What is it you have been asking God to do for you and yet you say He hasn't done it? It is because you have not yet understood His love for you.

Did you need to beg God for a Savior? You didn't need to because salvation was not your idea. It was His idea. In His love for you, He conceptualized the idea of salvation and became flesh. He suffered all humiliation in His body for the undeserving (those who were not perfect) not for the righteous. If the undeserving can get such good, how much more you a child of God?

From today, I encourage you to receive His grace and favour from a new perspective if you are born again. Romans 8:32 says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Now that you know the true character of God, receive from Him freely without fear and doubting.

Instruction.
Exercise your faith today and ask in faith for whatever you desire and it will be given you.

For further study, read:
Matthew 7:7-11, John 16:23-24, James 1:5-8.

Doing the Word.
According to James 1:5 (AMP), when you ask you heavenly Father for anything, expect Him to give to you liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given you. Thank Him for His answers.

Knowing God's Love

“He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.”
1 John 4:8 (AMP).

Have you received a revelation knowledge of God? Our opening scripture reveals that God is love. He is love personified.

When Peter denied Jesus three times, for him it was over. But not with God because Jesus told him earlier that he was going to deny Him, “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32.

Jesus knew beforehand that Peter was going to deny Him and He loved Peter so much that He prayed for Him that His faith fail not. In the same way, God knew you were going to make that wrong decision before you did and He has already made provision for your forgiveness. So ask Him for forgiveness and He will forgive you.

God because of His great love for you will always give you another opportunity to prove your love for Him just as He did for Peter in John 21:15-17, He gave Peter three opportunities to affirm his love for Him. “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” 1 John 4:19 says, “We love him, because he first loved us.” That is unmerited favour.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You because Your love is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit You have given to me. I ask that You fill my heart with the knowledge of Your love for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Throne Of Grace

“Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].”
Hebrews 4:16 (AMP)

Our opening scripture shows us that God is on the throne for your favour. He calls the throne the throne of God's unmerited favour.

Are challenges coming to you? Then go to the throne of God's unmerited favour. Are you dealing with failures? Then go to the throne of God's unmerited favour. Do you need help for any need? Then go to the throne of God's unmerited favour.

No matter how bad what you've done, God is inviting you to come to the throne of God's unmerited favour. When you come to Him, confess your sins, receive your forgiveness and mercy and He will give you grace or the empowerment to overcome that weakness.

Have you lost money from a bad decision you made because of greed? There is a way out, go to the throne of grace (God's unmerited favour) and confess your sin of greed, receive your forgiveness and mercy, then declare that you receive a double compensation. Do it in faith and it will come to you because of His favour towards you.

Instruction.
Read Exodus 33:13 and 2 Peter 1:2 and ask God to reveal Himself to you so that you may experience increase in grace.

Sufficient Grace

“And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."            2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV).

Are you struggling with any form of weakness? God is saying to you today that his grace is sufficient for you, and His strength or power is made perfect in your weakness. Access God's grace and you will be empowered to live above your carnal weaknesses and sin.

Romans 6:14 says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” What is grace? Grace is the divine empowerment to do what is naturally or humanly impossible.

For instance, when a man who smokes about sixteen sticks of cigarettes everyday gets born again, suddenly stops smoking, and cannot even stand the smell of cigarettes anymore, such transformations can only be done by grace because no human being can change himself that way.

The reason why some Christians are still failing and falling is because they are trying to change by themselves without relying on God's grace. God's grace available to you is greater than your challenges and weaknesses, so receive the grace you need to empower you above your weakness because for every challenge that comes your way there is grace to overcome it.

Instruction.
Read 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 and ask God to glorify Himself through your life by manifesting His character and His power through your life.

Receive Grace

“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
Romans 5:17.

Notice that our opening scripture says, “… they which receive …” not 'they which received.' This means he is referring to continuous receiving because grace and favour is always flowing. There is grace for today. There is grace for tomorrow. There is grace for any challenge you may be going through but if you do not receive the grace, it will be tormenting.

Whenever you are going through any challenge, know that grace is available to you so just say, “I receive grace to go through this challenge and to come out victoriously.” When you wake up commend yourself to the grace of God for that day and declare that it is a day full of grace and favour for you. When you are ready to go to bed at night, commend yourself to the grace of God and declare that it is a night full of grace for you.

When you keep on proclaiming grace that way, you will not experience robbers because grace and favour preserves. One of the meanings of the word grace is unmerited favour, so when grace is working in your life, it will give you favour before your boss. Therefore if you are going for an interview or you are going to see your boss, pray and declare that you receive grace and favour before him. What you say is what you will get.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I commend myself to the grace of God today and I declare that I receive grace and favour for today. The grace of God is working in my life in abundance. I enjoy unmerited favour everywhere I go with all people, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Receive Grace And Favour

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
 Luke 4:19 (NKJV)

What is the acceptable year of the Lord? The acceptable year of the Lord is known as the debtor's year. It's a season where your debts are cancelled if you were owing. It's a season where your lands are restored if they had been taken. So Jesus said He came to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and we are still in that year.

The Amplified Bible puts our opening scripture this way, “To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.]” We are in a season when the favour of God abounds.

Whenever Paul writes his letters he usually begins with the salutation, “… Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 1:7. Why? It is because we are in a season where the grace and favour of God is flowing towards us.

In the kingdom of God, just as oxygen flows on earth, favour is flowing in the kingdom and if you are not experiencing it, it is because you are not receiving it. For instance, salvation is open to all; Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” That means salvation is available to all men, yet all men are not saved, though they can be saved in an instant if they receive the salvation available to them in Jesus Christ by faith. This proves that whatever you are not getting in the kingdom of God, God is not to be blamed, just know that you are not receiving.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, therefore I reign in life by Jesus Christ.

Favour Unleashed

“But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].”
 2 Corinthians 5:18 (AMP)

According to the above scripture, if you are a Christian, it is important you realize that you have been received into favour with God. If you lack this knowledge as a Christian you would not be able to access the favour of God as you ought to.

The concluding part of our opening scripture helps us to see that the reason some Christians do not win souls is because they have not yet had a revelation knowledge of the favour of God in their lives, as a result they find it difficult to tell someone else about Jesus because their own lives have not been transformed by the favour of God.

When you have a revelation knowledge of the favour of God, your life becomes a message of hope to those who are perishing. Therefore by word and deed, your life becomes a testimony to others of the saving grace or favour of God.

What is it you want? The favour of God makes anything possible. Do your want to prosper financially? The favour of God gives riches. So as a child of God, you cannot be poor because you are favoured. Do you want children? The favour of God will give you children. Hence, the Christian cannot be barren. Do you want to be promoted? The favour of God gives promotion. Therefore, if you are born again, you cannot be stagnated. See with the eyes of favour and begin to enjoy all-round blessings.

Instruction.
Read 1 Chronicles 29:25 and 2 Chronicles 1:1 and ask God to magnify you exceedingly in the sight of all people. Ask Him to take you to levels you have never been before.

See Your Blessing

“And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.”
Genesis 21:19.

Yesterday, you learnt that for every day there are loads of benefits and blessings that God has laid up for you. My prayer for you today is for God to open your eyes to see them. Our opening scripture tells us of how God opened the eyes of Hagar to see a well of water in the wilderness because her son found favour in the eyes of God. The lad would have died of thirst because they were in the wilderness, but God preserved him by revealing to his mother a miracle well of water.

There are people who expect bad things to happen to them every day because they are not born again, and if they are born again and still think negatively, it is because they do not know what is available to them in Christ.

What are you expecting today? Do you know you have found favour with God? As the favoured of the Lord, expect Him to open your eyes to see the favours, opportunities and blessings around you that you do not see right now. Also, you can declare what you expect to see and it will come to you because you are in a day where the free favours of God is profusely abounding towards you. (See Luke 4:19 AMP)

Instruction.
Please read Ephesians 1:17-18 and Genesis 21:19 and ask God to open your eyes to see the blessings and opportunities around you.

Loads Of Favour

“For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.”
John 1:16 (AMP)

Our opening scripture shows us that the fullness of God's favour is available to humanity through Jesus. When you accept salvation and become a child of God, be conscious of this truth; “Favour is flowing to you every day.”

If you are a Christian, every day for you is a day of favour. The Bible says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24. Every day for you, as a child of God, is a good day.

Psalm 68:19 says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” This means that God is loading you with benefits every day. That means that God has benefits for you today.

You can only receive what you expect. Therefore, when you realize that God sets up surprises, miracles, blessings and benefits of favour for you every day, you will start expecting good things every day. Now as you are going out today, I believe you know what to expect because you are the favoured of the Lord.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have received of the fullness of Christ. I share and I’m supplied with one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. I declare today a blessed day for me, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

You Are Highly Favoured 2

You Are Highly Favoured 2

“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”
 Luke 1:28.

To be favoured alone is good, but God has made you highly favoured according to our opening scripture.

A minister of God who had this revelation that he is highly favoured shared what happened to him in his younger days after he passed out in an exam hall because he was sick. As they were carrying him out of the hall, he said he remembered that God wrote the Ten Commandments with His hands so he prayed and asked God to fill in the blank spaces in his answer sheet and God did because he passed with flying colours. When you know you are highly favoured of God, you can confidently make high
demands.

2 Corinthians 5:19 (AMP) says, “It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).” You are highly favoured of God; that is why when you confess your sins and repent from them He forgives you and completely writes off your debts, cancels them and blots them away as though they never existed. God has done all these for you in bringing you into right standing with Himself because you are highly favoured. Praise God.

Instruction.
Read Genesis 24:12, Genesis 27:20 (ESV), Isaiah 60:22 (NIV) and ask God to give you good speed by His favour. Ask Him to give you with ease what others struggle to get.

For further study, read
Isaiah 41:10, 14, Isaiah 43:1-4,
