God has blessed you.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”   Ephesians 1:3(KJV)

All the blessings that you will need if you were in heaven are available to you here on earth. Therefore, the man in Christ is called to live as though he was in heaven on earth.

The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:10, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Now if all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places are in Christ and Christ is in you, it therefore means that all the spiritual blessings are in me.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love”  Ephesians 1:3-4. This reveals to us that the blessing is the key to fulfilling your destiny. This is because He has blessed us according as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world.

Acts 3:26(CEV) says, “God sent his chosen Son to you first, because God wanted to bless you and make each one of you turn away from your sins.” This shows us that the mission of Jesus on earth was to bless us and to make us turn away from our sins. In other words the blessing that Jesus brought to us is able to empower us against every natural proclivity in us. In other words, the blessing empowers you against the sin you naturally like to sin. Some people naturally addicted to smoking, women, drugs, etc. But the scripture is letting us know today that God sent Jesus to bless you and make you turn away from your sins.

The blessing breaks the power of sin. Therefore, when you really learn to receive, function and flow in the blessing, you will walk out of all bondage to sin.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for sending the Lord Jesus to bless me and turn me from my sins. I open my heart to the Holy Spirit to teach me about the blessing so that I may be, do, and have, all that I was born to be, do and have in Jesus Name.

Maintain the blessing flow.

“And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.” Genesis 13:8(KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see Abraham the blessed man speaking to his nephew Lot saying that there should be no strife between them because the land where they lived at this time has become too small for them and their herdsmen with all their possessions that God has blessed them with. So, Abraham said to Lot in Genesis 13:9, “Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.”

I want you to notice that Abraham who was senior to Lot put Lot first because he understood the blessing, knowing that wherever he went after Lot chose, he was going to prosper there. When Lot saw that his uncle gave him the opportunity to choose first, the Bible says in Genesis 13:10-12, “And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.”

From Lot’s choice, he looked like the person with the advantage. This is why it is important for you not to be envious of anyone. Never be envious, just put your faith in the blessing. This is because there are lots of people who look like a success because they have chosen the cities of the plain. They have various schemes on how to get money. But I will encourage you to stay with the word of God and put your faith in the blessing like Abraham. You may look disadvantaged to the natural man but you are building your life on the right foundation which is the word of God and the blessing. In the latter end, you will surely be ahead of all those who built their lives with their schemes and not the blessing. So, Lot ended up in a cave without living any inheritance for his two daughters; which all he had left, but Abraham left a blessing for all the families of the earth to inherit.

PRAYER
Dear Father, help me to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto your wisdom on how to sustain the blessing flow in my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Blessed according to knowledge.

“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter 3:9(KJV)

Your attitude is a revelation of your knowledge. Every time you act, you are expressing your knowledge. Every time you talk, you are revealing your level of knowledge.

How do you respond when someone does evil to you? Instead of avenging yourself, revenge with a blessing. I remember many years ago when I was in Benin, I taught my brethren how to overcome evil with good. It is important that you know that when identity is defined, destiny is determined. In other words, you are acting in conformity with the picture that you see of yourself.

God does not want you to act and function like the natural man. Who when you speak badly of him, he speaks badly of you. When you hurt him, he hurts you back. But he says that you should on the contrary bless. Why? Because you know that you have been called to inherit a blessing.

If you have the blessing functioning in your life, it will make you to become all that you were born to be. You will be able to do what you were born to do and you will be able to have what God has ordained for you to have irrespective of what anybody does against you.

So the blessed man cannot be disadvantaged, because he has the empowerment to be what he was born to be, to do what he was born to do and to have all that he was born to have. But if you lack this knowledge in your life, you will function beneath your calling.

The blessing affects your seed.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Hebrews 11:8(KJV)

The way of greatness is through the way of faith. If you are going to become great, you are going to have to go in that direction by faith.

A study was done on two families in America, the family of Russell who was an atheist and one of the modern day founders of atheism in America. When they observed his children, they discovered that almost every child that has come out of that family line has been an armed robber, a prostitute, etc. When they did a study on the family of Jonathan Edward, a minster of the gospel, they noticed that everyone that has come out from that family has either been a Vice President or somebody responsible in the society. Why? It was because the man brought a move of God to America at a particular time so God owed him to preserve his generation.

Are you sincerely committed to God? Is all your heart in your service to Him? If it is, it will reflect in your seed. The Bible says in Proverbs 11:21, “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” 

God told Abraham in Genesis 12:1-2, “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation…” This means that as you follow God by faith, He will make of you a great nation. You won’t need to be praying, “O God, let my children be great.” God Himself will ensure that your children are great. All He wants you to do is follow Him. When you do, the Bible says, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3.

PRAYER

Dear Father as I commit my heart to follow you in faith as the Father’s of faith did, may your blessing be activated in my life to produce greatness and productivity not only in my life but also in the lives of my seed, in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Blessing stirs fruitfulness and dominion.

“And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.” Genesis 1:21-22(KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see that whenever God creates a thing, He blesses it. The blessing puts an end to shortage. The blessing prolongs your days.

In Genesis 24:1 the Bible says, “And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.” That blessing of productivity continued to function in Abraham’s life that even after Sarah died, Abraham married Keturah. In Genesis 15:1 the Bible says, “Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.” And she bore him six sons, meaning that Abraham still had strength at old age because the blessing was still working in him. This shows us that the blessing renews your youth.   

In Genesis 1:28, the Bible says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion …” This shows us that the blessing activates your dominion and empowers you for dominion.

When Adam sinned against God, God cursed the ground for Adam’s sake in Genesis 3:17. So, as a result of Adam’s sin, the curse came upon all men. But when Noah was born, his father Lamech said concerning his son in Genesis 5:29(GNB) “From the very ground on which the LORD put a curse, this child will bring us relief from all our hard work"; so he named him Noah.”  This word was fulfilled in Noah’s life in Genesis 8:20-21, “And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake…” And then in Genesis 9:1-2, God blessed Noah and his sons and restored dominion back to man. Today every curse on the ground because of Adam’s sin has been removed by the blessing. Praise God.

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I thank you because your blessing on my life has brought me to a place of abounding grace for fruitfulness and dominion. I experience productivity in my body, in my job, in my finances, and upon every area of my life. I curse every form of dryness and satanic confrontation against me and I reign over them all in Jesus Name. Amen.

The blessing is supernatural.

“It is the LORD's blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer.”                  Proverbs 10:22(GNB)

The blessing is a supernatural empowerment for success, prosperity and progress. The blessing is not natural but it is supernatural.

Everyone around you in your office may be confessing that things are going to be hard for them, but be sure and know that things will surely not be hard for you because you are blessed. Remember the Bible says in Ephesians 1:3 that you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
When some persons hear that, they may say things like those are spiritual blessings. They forget the blessing that is on us is spiritual, it cannot be seen. That is why it is released in words.

So when Isaac was blessed by his Father it was released in words. When God told Isaac, stay in this land and I will bless you it was released in words, and Isaac acted on the blessing and took his seed and planted it in the ground in the time of famine and dryness. I believe that those Philistines who saw him may have wondered if he was okay. But in one year, his produce which he harvested from that land made him a national figure.  

Learn to receive, function in and flow with the blessing and stop giving reasons why things should not be better for you in your life. The blessing breaks barriers, it is a limit breaker, and the blessing is your atmosphere. It’s your own personal atmosphere. It is not decided by the general cloud. Blessed people carry their own atmosphere.

For instance when the children of Israel walked in the wilderness, the Bible says that there was a cloud upon them by day because the wilderness ought to be very hot but because of the blessing, they had air conditioned(AC) during the day in the desert.

As a blessed man or woman, the circumstances of your life should not determine how you should feel, how you should act, what you should have and what you can do because the blessing is on your life. In the night when the wilderness ought to be very cold, God gave them a pillar of fire by night. They had their own atmosphere. So that means that you carry your own atmosphere. It’s a blessed atmosphere. Therefore there is nothing that is going to stop you in this year 2013. Amen.

CONFESSION
I live under an open heaven, I carry the blessed atmosphere 24hrs a day every day of my life. My gates are open continually; they shall not be shut night and day that I may receive deliveries of wealth from all nations and their kings.

A life of plenty.

“… With corn and wine have I sustained him …" Genesis 27:37(KJV)

The blessing brings you to a place of plenty. Say out loud, “The blessing is working on my behalf.”

The Bible tells us about Isaac, a blessed man. In Genesis 26, there was famine in the land and Isaac wanted to leave the land and go to Egypt, but God appeared unto him and said, “Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father” Genesis 26:2-3.

Then the Bible says in Genesis 26:6, “And Isaac dwelt in Gerar” In Genesis 26:12-14, the Bible says, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.” Isaac took his seed and sowed it in a dry land where there was famine, there was no water, yet the seed germinated, grew, and produced fruit at the height of perfection which is an hundredfold. That means that the seed produced maximally in unfavorable conditions.

That tells you that the blessing on your life will work perfectly inspite of unfavorable conditions. That means that no matter how things are going; it can only turn out right. As a blessed man or woman, your life is not subject to the economic conditions and policies of the nation or state where you live. There was no water and there was no rain in the land where Isaac sowed his seed yet he reaped an hundred fold harvest. That tells you that you are not governed by the laws of this life. 

All you need to do is to learn to receive, function and flow with the blessing. Isaac received, functioned and flowed with the blessing, and as a result, the whole nation of the Philistines recognized him as a blessed man in one year. It’s your time.

CONFESSION

The blessing is on me therefore it is my time for multiplication, increase and dominion. I live a life of plenty by the effectual working of the blessing on my life. My life is not subject to the economic condition of the nation where I live. I function according to the heavenly supply of the blessing for God is my source even in unfavorable conditions. Amen.

Supernatural supply.

“Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.”
Psalm 31:21(KJV)

The blessing thrives in difficult places. That is why for you as a child of God, there is no difficult place. If you find yourself in a difficult place, the blessing will shine more. So if the place you are right now looks unfavorable and difficult, know that it is your place of favour.

Declare out loud, and say, “The Blessing is on me.” 1 Peter 3:9 says that you have been called to inherit a blessing. In other words, the blessing is your inheritance; it is your lot and your right. It’s yours because you’ve been called to inherit a blessing. Yet some of God’s children do not know about the blessing.

Do you know that when you are a blessed man, you cannot die of starvation? Before Abraham sent away Hagar and her son Ishmael from him, God had already blessed Ishmael because of Abraham in Genesis 17:20; “And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.” So when Abraham sent away Hagar and Ishmael in Genesis 21 and the boy was without food and crying, the angel of the Lord said unto Hagar, “What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.” Genesis 21:17-18. After the angel was through speaking with her, the Bible says, “And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.” Genesis 21:19-20.

The blessing is your connection to supernatural supply. You cannot die because you are blessed. If God could sustain Ishmael the son of the bondwoman because He had blessed him, how much more you whom the Bible declares in Galatians 4:28(ALT) that, “we_, brothers [and sisters], just like Isaac, are children of promise.”

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you because your blessing is heavy on my life and your blessing has connected me to supernatural supply. I thrive and I bloom wherever God sends me because of the blessing in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Blessing puts you ahead.

“Let peoples be your servants, and nations go down before you: be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons go down before you: a curse be on everyone by whom you are cursed, and a blessing on those who give you a blessing.” Genesis 27:29(BBE)

From our opening scripture, we can see that with the blessing comes dominion and greatness. And as a child of God, the blessing is in your DNA.

When Jacob was been blessed as we see in our opening scripture, Isaac blessed him and said, “Be lord over your brothers…” Why is he going to be lord over them, it is because of the blessing. When you are blessed, you do not struggle to become significant. You don’t need to join all kinds of groups to become significant. Groups should be begging you to join them so that they can become significant.

As a child of God who is blessed of the Lord, you are the head and not the tail. You should be ahead in your family because the blessing is a separation to favour. Another interesting thing about the word blessed is that it also means to consecrate. That means that when you are blessed, you are separated for favour. That is why the blessing is capable of putting you ahead of everyone in your family and even in your community.

When a man is blessed, if you curse him you are cursed. The blessing keeps you ahead. You shall be the lender and not the burrower. To be the borrower is to be the tail. This is because the Bible says in Proverbs 22:7, “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” In other words, the lender has subjugated the borrower. That is why we will never borrow all our days. Never will I borrow, not even for God’s work. This is because to go borrowing is to come under a curse. When you borrow, you place yourself at the mercy of someone else.

Do you know that the day you got born again, failure ended, poverty ended, and you received the blessing. The Bible says in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” You are already blessed now that you are a child of God.

CONFESSION
I have already been blessed by God the Father with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. I do not fail because I have already been made more than a conqueror in Christ. I am rich and abundantly supplied with all good things because He became poor so that I through His poverty might be made rich. Jesus became a curse for me on the cross, so that the blessing of Abraham would come upon me. I am the blessed of the Lord.

Do not lose the blessing.

“And God gave them his blessing…” Genesis 1:28(BBE)

What Adam lost in the garden was the blessing, and when you lose the blessing, you lose fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishing and dominion.

In Genesis 1:26, the Bible lets us know that God gave man “… dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” So God is saying that man ought not to be afraid of anything. But you know that when man fell, he lost the blessing.

In Genesis chapter 9, when the blessing was restored, God said, “…Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Genesis 9:1. Then in verse 2 of Genesis Chapter 9, God said, “And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.” So we see from this verse that when God restored the blessing upon Noah, he also restored authority. Therefore we see that with the blessing comes authority, and if you will learn to be blessing conscious, functioning in a greater authority will become easier.

Remember that learning how to receive, function and flow with the blessing is the key to having all your goals and dreams fulfilled. Another thing you need to understand about the blessing is that the blessing is always transferred through words because it means to pronounce upon.

In Genesis 27, when Isaac was to bless his son Jacob, he pronounced the blessing on him through words. Genesis 27:28 says, “Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth and plenty of corn and wine” The fatness of the earth refers to prosperity. In Genesis 27:29, Isaac blessed Jacob saying, “Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.” This shows us that if the blessing is on a man’s life, he will always be on top.

So if you want to be ahead in life, there is no use trying to be ahead, just know how to receive, function and flow with the blessing.

CONFESSION
The blessing of the Lord is upon me, setting me on the course that I must follow. He has given me dominion over peoples and nations. He has made me an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. All those who have despised me shall come bowing unto me. Whosoever curses me is cursed and anyone who blesses me is blessed.

The empowerment to be, do and have.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…”
Genesis 1:26(KJV)

God did not make man to be subservient to anything. God wanted man to reign on earth, but how is he going to reign? For the man to reign, God had to bless him. So in Genesis 1:28 the Bible says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion”

So, the blessing is the empowerment to be, to do or to have all that God has ordained for you to be, do or have. The word blessing is one of the most miss understood word in the body of Christ. For some people when they hear the word blessing, the first thing they think about is money. But for you to understand the blessing, you need to know whose idea was the blessing.

The blessing was God’s idea. God said unto the man He had made, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion” This shows us that the first thing that the blessing would do in your life is to make you fruitful. That means the blessing would make you productive, effective, and reproductive; in other words you can perpetuate what you start. You can perpetuate yourself; you can reproduce that business again. If you are a cell leader, you can start another cell and still be effective because you are fruitful.

Also, when God blesses you, it will cause you to multiply; that is to increase in number. The blessing will cause you to enlarge or increase in greatness. Then the blessing will also empower you to replenish the earth. The word replenish means to refill, it also means to accomplish. That means that without the blessing I cannot accomplish my God given assignment.

This is the blessing; God said, “Be fruitful, and multiply…” That is the empowerment to be. Then God said, “Replenish the earth, and subdue it…” That is the empowerment to do. Then God said, “Have dominion…” That is the empowerment to have. Therefore, the blessing is the empowerment to be, do and have all that God has ordained for you to be, do and have.

CONFESSION
Father I thank you for I am blessed. I am empowered by the blessing to be fruitful and multiply, I am empowered by the blessing to refill the earth and subdue it. I am empowered by the blessing to have dominion. Thank you Father for you have made me to have dominion over the nobles among the people and you have given me dominion over the mighty.

Do you tithe? 2.

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”      Malachi 3:10(KJV)

God will not force you to bring your tithe to Him. He expects you to do it willingly because tithing is your escape from the curse and all its consequences.

Many years ago, while working as a church staff in my home church, after I was paid my first salary, I wanted to look like my young friends, so after I collected my salary, I went to buy myself a St. Michael's pair of shoes. During that period I was to attend my grandmother’s burial, so as I was travelling to the village, I kept my pair of St Michael’s in a bag right in front of me. Every other thing I was travelling with was all behind in the boot except for the shoes.

When I got to my destination, it was then I realized that I had misplaced my shoes. I went back to the park to try to track the shoes but I couldn't find the shoes. It was then the Spirit of God reminded me that I had not tithed. From then on, I made up my mind that in my life I would never joke with tithing.

The Lord says to you, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says the LORD of Armies”  Malachi 3:10(HNV). God demands that you test Him in your tithing. God is daring you, this is the only place in scripture God says for you to test Him because money is the measure of value.        

Be a tither and you will begin to experience sweat-less success because the blessing will remove sweat from your life. God wants your life to be enviable and inspiring to the world. The first house which I rented and lived in, when I just came into Bayelsa was an uncompleted building. But I told the brothers that were with me then that from this house we will affect the whole State. We not only completed the house but we got on television from that place. There are so many possibilities awaiting you if only you will start tithing today.

Dear Father, I thank you that whenever I release my tithe, it is a declaration of my faith that you are my source. Therefore there shall be no miscarriage in my body or in any area of my life. All nations shall call me blessed for my life shall be delightsome and pleasant in Jesus Name. Amen.

Do you tithe? 1

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”      Malachi 3:10(KJV)

When you tithe according to the scriptures, there is a blessing that prevents misfortune added unto your life. Then the Lord goes on to say in Malachi 3:11, “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.”

The Bible says that as a tither, the devourer shall not be able to destroy the fruit of your ground, neither shall there be any miscarriage among your vine, much more in your life. The Bible says in Psalm 128:3, “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house …” This is what tithing would do for you.

The tithe is ten percent of your income. As you give it to the Lord, don’t think that you are helping God because He doesn’t need money. The gold that we count as precious in this life is like the dust in heaven. The pearls women are seeking to wear on their necks is what we will use to make our gate in heaven. So, you are not helping God when you give your tithe, you are helping yourself.

When you are a tither, you are going to be so rich and so blessed that nobody will be able to say, “I made you rich.” If you will learn to tithe, you will minimize your warfare by 80 percent. Make up your mind that you are going to be a tither. When you tithe, you activate the blessing and that blessing can give you whatever you need. There are two primary things the tithe will do for you: it will bring you provision and protection. It will also affect your reproductive health.

God said to me, He said, “Learning how to receive, function and flow in the blessing is the key to having all your goals and dreams fulfilled.” 

CONFESSION

I am a hearer and a doer of the word of God. As I give my tithe consistently, thank you Father because you have poured out on me a blessing that I won’t have room enough to receive. The devourer is rebuked concerning my finances, my health, my body and all that I lay my hands to do. I am blessed to be a blessing until all the families of the earth have been blessed. Amen.

Free from the curse.

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”   Proverbs 10:22(KJV)

The place of the blessing is free from the curse. Whether it is the sorrow of conception, or the sorrow of child birth with so much pain. When you are functioning in the blessing they will be removed because, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

The Blessing of the Lord upon your life will prevent sorrow from your life. So when you enter that blessing enabling environment, your life will be free from sorrow. Under the curse, sorrow is supposed to be part of life. that is why you hear that people can be in labour trying to give birth for as long as eight hours, or even for two days. In the place of the blessing it ought not to be so.

Therefore, the sorrow free life is possible, the sickness free life is possible, the pain free life is possible, the anguish free life is possible, the depression free life is possible, because “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

I remember one time, a section of the market in Ring Road in Benin known as Oba market was burning and one of our members ran to me and said that the fire was burning and it was approaching her mother’s shop. I answered her and said that the fire would not get to her mother’s shop because of her, because she was a tither. The fire stopped before it got to their shop. That’s the blessing at work; He added no sorrow with it.

Malachi 3:8-9 says, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.” I remember when Jerry Savell came to Africa and he was starting churches, so God told him to teach them about giving, but he said that they were too poor but God insisted that he teaches them because if they don’t give, He cannot bless them. So he began teaching them about giving, and they responded and began to give and they began to prosper. As long as you withhold the tithe and you refuse to give, you cannot experience freedom from the curse that way.

PRAYER

Dear Father I thank you for bringing me into the blessing enabling environment. Therefore, by the blessing, I am experiencing complete freedom and prosperity in every area of my life and there shall be no loss in Jesus Name. Amen.

Faith gives access to the blessing.

“For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.”   Romans 4:13(KJV).

From our opening scripture, I want you to observe that the promise that God made to Abraham and to his seed was not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. This means that we are able to access that promise made to Abraham our father by our faith. In other words, what you have faith for is what you have a right to. So, if you will not believe for it you cannot get it. This is because in the kingdom of God, believing is receiving.

This is why the message translation puts Romans 4:13 this way, “That famous promise God gave Abraham--that he and his children would possess the earth--was not given because of something Abraham did or would do. It was based on God's decision to put everything together for him, which Abraham then entered when he believed.”
Therefore, if you don’t have faith for what God has said is already yours in His word, you are not going to get it. For instance, in Luke 1:6, the Bible tells us about Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth, “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” But in verse 7, the Bible made us know that they were barren. Why? They had no faith.

When the angel Gabriel came and told Zachariah in Luke 1:13 that, “Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” When Zachariah heard this proving he did not have faith answered the angel and said in Luke 1:18, “Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years” Because of his unbelief the angel answered him in Luke 1:20 saying, “And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.” 

So we see from the above that Zechariah had no faith but he was keeping the law and living right. Same thing today, there are many people who are living right but they are broke, they are living right but they are sick, they are living right but they are dying in car accidents because they have no faith in the blessing for their prosperity, protection and well  being.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I believe that I am the blessed of the Lord. I thank you Father for the blessing is working in my life and bringing about increase in my finances, restoration and soundness in my health, and protection from all evil in Jesus Name. Amen.
