Live for Christ

“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
2 Corinthians 5:14-15(KJV)

If you don't believe God loves you, you will be ineffective as a Christian and unwilling to surrender all and live for Christ. This is why some Christians  are scared of getting serious with the things of God; which causes them to make statements like: “if I get serious with God maybe He will send me to one village to be a missionary.”

For some Christians, when they find that they are becoming committed and passionate to the things of God, they become uncomfortable and may even want to draw back, making statements like; “I don't want God to call me.” They forget that they are already called from the day they got saved.
The reason why some Christians find it difficult to live for God is because they are not confident in God's love for them. They have not come to understand that when they believed that Christ died for them, from that day, they died to themselves and henceforth should not live for themselves anymore but for Christ who died and rose again for them.

Therefore, if you are a Christian and you are a banker know that you have been called to reach those in the banking world for Christ. The banking world has become your mission field. Your field of study or expertise has become your platform for ministry. So whatever you do is an opportunity for ministry, and  you are responsible to reach all those within your field with the gospel.

Jesus said in Matthew 13:38 that the field is the world, and He has commanded us in Mark 16:15 saying, “… Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This shows you that you have been called; it doesn't matter if you are a business man; you have been called to reach the world of business people. If you are a teacher or a lecturer you have been called to reach the academic world. If you are a student you've been called to reach your fellow students. So whatever you do as a child of God, know that you have been called into that field, so use it as your platform to reach others for Christ.

CONFESSION
I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the body, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

You can hear God's voice

“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.”
Psalm 81:11(ESV)

Our opening scripture today shows us that hearing from God is a choice. The people of Israel in our opening scripture refused to listen to God's voice and because of that they did not hear God's voice, not because God was not speaking, but because they were not listening.

The Bible says in Hebrews 3:7, “… To day if ye will hear his voice,” So you have to position yourself to hear God's voice. In Revelation 2:7 the Bible says, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” This means that God speaks to the man who cares. So if you are wondering if God ever speaks or when will He ever speak to you? That is not the issue, the issue is this, “will you be willing to pay attention to listen to His voice?”

This is because the quality of attention determine the quality of perception. So if you don't give God your attention, what you receive from Him will be less. In Mark 4:23 Jesus said, “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” In other words, if any man is paying attention, let him hear. Mark 4:23-24(AMP) says, “If any man has ears to hear,  let him be  listening and  let him perceive and comprehend. And he said to them, be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you – and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.” 

Child of God, when you are hearing the Word of God, give it your attention - focus your mind on it. Let nothing distort your attention from the stream of thought that the Holy Spirit is bringing to you, because whatever you get out of the Word of God is decided by the measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear, and that attention is what decides the measure of power and knowledge that you receive from the Word of God.
    
PRAYER
Dear Father I lay aside all filthiness and naughtiness. My heart is open to receive your Word with meekness. My eyes are anointed to see, my ears are anointed to hear, my mind is anointed to understand and my heart is anointed to receive your Word in Jesus Name. Amen.

Knowing His Voice 2

“… "If you hear God's voice today,”
Hebrews 3:7(CEV)     

Our opening scripture lets us know that God still speaks today. This is because in Malachi 3:6 God said, “For I am the LORD, I change not; …” So if God does not change; it means He still speaks today.

If God does not speak today as some people say, it means that He has changed, and if He has changed, it means that He has lied, and if He has lied, then He would have to cease to be God because the foundation of His throne is supposed to be truth and justice.

In Titus 1:2 the Bible tells us that God cannot lie. If God cannot lie it means that He still speaks today. And if God still speaks today, it means that He speaks to you. When you read the book of Revelation chapter 2 and 3, you will notice that the Bible continually says, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” This means that God still speaks to the church today through the Holy Spirit.

When you study in the book of revelation, you will notice that certain things that John said he saw was consistent and in line with the Word of God. This is why some of the things you see in the book of revelation can also be found in some of the books of the Old testament, because if it is revealed by the Holy Spirit, it must be in line with the Word of God. 

Therefore child of God it is important you judge every voice, prophecy, vision or revelation by the Word of God. If it is not in line with the Word of God, then it is not from the Holy Spirit.

Knowing His Voice 1

“Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,”
Hebrews 3:7(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that the Holy Ghost speaks. These words attributed to the Holy Ghost is found in Psalm 95:7-11. And Jesus tells us in John 4:24 that, “God is a Spirit: …” This means that when the Holy Ghost speaks, it is God speaking. Therefore, we can say that the Bible is the voice of God. So if you want to know what God is saying about any issue, you look at His Word.

In John 16:13 Jesus was talking about the Holy Ghost and He said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” You will notice in the verse above that Jesus called the Holy Ghost the Spirit of truth. Then Jesus goes on to say in John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” This shows us that the Spirit of truth is the Spirit of the Word. This means that the Holy Ghost always speaks in line with the Word of God.

In 1 John 5:6 the Bible says, “… And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” So if you want to know if it is the Holy Ghost that is talking to you, the words must be in line with the Word of God as revealed in the Bible.

Therefore child of God, don't just go by anything anyone says the Holy Spirit said, it must be in line with the Word of God. That is how you know it is the voice of the Spirit of God; because the Spirit of God is the Spirit of the Word. The Holy Spirit will never contradict the Word of God.

You are not insignificant

“And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.”
Luke 8:43-44(KJV)

The Bible in our opening scripture tells us about the woman with the issue of blood. She had suffered for twelve years, but  she came behind Jesus and touched the border of His garment and she was perfectly healed.

When you come to Jesus with your problem, He removes the label of that problem off your life. Initially, this woman was labelled the woman with the issue of blood, but when she came to Jesus, He gave her a new identity. First of all in Luke 8:46, “Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.” For this particular woman, Jesus not only called her Somebody, He called her Daughter(Luke 8:48).

I want you to know that even if you think you are a nobody, the minute Jesus comes into your life, you are somebody. You are the righteousness of God, you are a king, you are the child of the Most High God. Child of God when you know who you are, your confidence soars; because confidence is a function of identity.

I want you to understand that the woman was not the only one touching Jesus at that time, but Jesus sees every individual as a somebody in the midst of everybody. That means you are not a face in the crowd, God knows you and sees you as somebody special even in the midst of a crowd. That's how special you are to God.  You are not insignificant to God.

The Word has creative ability

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”          
John 1:1(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that God and His Word are one and the same because the Word is God. In John 1:2-3(CEV) the Bible says, “From the very beginning the Word was with God. And with this Word, God created all things. Nothing was made without the Word. Everything that was created” This shows us that all things were made by the Word. This means that there is no area of your need that the Word of God does not cover.

I will also like you to understand the word 'made' could also mean 'happen.' This means that whatever you want to see happen in your life can happen through the Word. The word 'made' could also mean 'come to pass.' This means that you can have things come to pass in your life by the Word of God.
For instance when Oral Roberts wanted to build his university, after he bought the land, he was praying and said to God, O God here I have the land to build the university but I have nothing. Then God replied and said, when I wanted to create the world, I had nothing too. God used His Word alone to create the world that we see today.

Therefore child of God, you may not have anything physical, but you have the Word of God. When that Word of God becomes a rhema in your mouth every problem that shows up in your life becomes a walk over. Your rhema is what the Word of God is saying concerning that situation.  If you have a mountain before you just like Zerubbabel, God has given you a specific Word already in Zechariah 4:7, “Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” So the prophecy to every problem in your life is that they shall become a plain.   

CONFESSION
 I believe and therefore have I spoken; in the Name of Jesus I declare that before me every mountain becomes a plain and every valley shall be filled up. I am walking in prepared places. The breaker has gone ahead of me to make every crooked place straight and the rough places plain. Amen.

He already provided 2

“And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.”

Our opening scripture shows us Hagar and her child been driven from the house of Abraham, the Bible tells us that Abraham gave them bread and a bottle of water and sent them away. This shows you that whatever a human being gives you is just enough. This is because as wealthy as Abraham was, what he gave them was just enough, and just enough was not enough to meet all their needs.

Even if you are from a very wealthy home and you believe that there is nothing that you need that your father cannot give you, it is still just enough. This is because when God gives you a dream, you will discover that the wealth of your father will not be able to sustain it. This is because whatever dream God gives you will require His involvement in your life.

Abraham gave Hagar and her child bread and a bottle of water, but when they got to the wilderness, they ran out of supply and the Bible records that the child became thirsty and began to cry. Hagar not wanting to see her child die went away from the child and wept. The Bible records that God heard the cry of the lad and  in Genesis 21:19 the Bible says, “And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.”

I want you to know that while she was crying for provision, the well of water was already provided by God there. Therefore, if you have been crying and asking God to meet your needs, I want you to know today that God has already done something about your needs, all you need is for God to open your eyes; because the provision you are looking for is already there. Praise God.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask that you open my eyes to be able to see the opportunities and the provisions that you have already made available for me in Jesus Name. Amen.

He already Provided 1

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”                       
2 Peter 1:3(KJV)

When you study the Word of God, you will always notice that when it comes to provision, God is always ahead of you. For instance in our opening scripture the Bible says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things …” If He has given unto  us all things, it means that the provision that everyone of God's children will ever require has already been made available and He is bringing us that knowledge through the Word today.

Again, you will notice that before God made Adam, all that Adam would ever need was already created and made ready for Him. So when man was created, his first day was a sabbath; because Adam was created on the sixth day according to the Bible (Genesis 1:27-31). So Adam's first day was actually the seventh day, the day of rest. Showing us that Adam was born into rest.

Therefore, as a child of God, when you got born again you were born into rest. It is important you have this knowledge and understanding in your spirit. Please say this out loud, “I was born into rest.” You have been born into a life of rest where all that you require has already been made available. Live your life with this knowledge because this knowledge will activate your faith which will cause your provisions to gravitate towards you.

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus I declare that all things are ready unto me. All things that I require for life and godliness in mine. All my provisions are gravitating towards me freely. All God's benefits for me today are locating me by free course. I refuse to fear and I refuse to worry over anything because I have been born into a life of rest. Amen.

The reality of God 3

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
Psalm 14:1(KJV)

Luis Struble who was a former atheist who is now born again, defending Christ and the existence of God said that the reason he didn't want to believe that there is a God was because he wanted to sin.

He resented the reality of God because according to him, to believe in God was to believe that there are moral absolutes, and if there are moral absolutes then there is a judge. So he refused to believe that there was a God. But thank God he got born again.

This shows us again today that atheism is the denial of the existence of God. They try to deny the existence of God even when they can see that creation is the evidence of a creator according to the scriptures in  Romans 1:20 which says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

Therefore we see from the above scripture that creation is the expression of divine wisdom and the reality of God so that all those who deny that there is a God are without excuse because even creation will testify against them on the day of judgment.

INSTRUCTION
Please read 2 Corinthians 4:1-4, and then pray today for the unsaved. Pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ will shine unto them through every available means the gospel is preached to them today.

The reality of God 2

“That was the true light, which enlighteneth every man that cometh into this world.”            
John 1:9(DRB)

Our opening scripture shows us that every one that is born into the world is conscious of the fact that God exists. They may deny it but they know that He exists. I remember Craig Cameron who had claimed to be an atheist in his earlier days, but he said one day while he thought on the existence of God, he came to the conclusion that there is a God. He said he thought to himself that if he keeps on denying the existence of God and he dies, that will be terrible for him, so he decided to get right with God, and he did.

Child of God, everyone knows there is a God even if they deny it, and the reason they deny the existence of God is because of the fact that if they do accept that God exists, they will have to be accountable to Him and that is what they dread, so that makes them live in denial.

Therefore if you are reading this today do not deny the existence of God. He is the creator of the world and He loves you, the Bible says in Acts 17:30-31(CEV) “In the past, God forgave all this because people did not know what they were doing. But now he says that everyone everywhere must turn to him. He has set a day when he will judge the world's people with fairness. And he has chosen the man Jesus to do the judging for him. God has given proof of this to all of us by raising Jesus from death.” 

CONFESSION
I believe in God and I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus is the true light and His light has flooded my heart with peace. I believe with my heart and I confess Jesus to be my Lord and personal Saviour. His death paid for my sins and He rose again on the third day for my justification. I've received Jesus into my heart, therefore by my faith I declare that I am a son of God, I am born again because I believe on His Name. Amen.

The reality of God 1

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.”
Romans 1:18-19(KJV)

Today it is clear from our opening scripture that everybody is born with an inner knowledge of the reality of God. This is because the Bible says in Romans 1:19, “… that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.” This means that there is no unbeliever that can say, “I don't believe in God” without having a conviction from his conscience. There is the consciousness of the reality of God in the life of every unbeliever.

There was a time a minister of God was preaching the gospel in the American military and a young man came to him and said, “Am an atheist, I don't believe that there is a God.” The minster answered and said to him, “you know there is a God, but you just want to deny it.” After that conversation, that same young man later came to him at night crying and said, “I know there is a God, but I don't just want to accept it because I just can't live right.” The minister then showed him how much God loved him from the Bible and then led him to Christ.

From this fact we can see that atheism is not the belief of the non-existence of God, it is rather the denial of the existence of God. This is because “… that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.”

CONFESSION
I believe in One God who created the heavens and the earth. I believe in the trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe in Jesus Christ that He is the only true God and eternal life. He is the Saviour of the world and He is the Lord of my life. In Him I live, in Him I move, in Him I have my being.

You and your faith

“… O ye of little faith?”
Matthew 6:30(KJV)

Do you know that your faith is a reflection of your confidence in God's power? (Jeremiah 51:15) This is because God has showed us His eternal power and Godhead from creation. When you know this, you will begin to understand why Jesus told those who had little faith to observe creation.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:26-30, “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”

Therefore since God takes care of the things that have been created without any effort of theirs, how much more will He take care of you. Do you know you are of more value to God than all other created things? You know the value of a thing by what was paid for it. Jesus is the true measure of your value because God gave Jesus for you.

The Bible says in Romans 8:32, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” This lets you know that God is willing to give you whatever you require for your well being with ease. So no matter the job you do, there is sufficient grace upon your life to prosper without sweat.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I receive sufficient grace to prosper and to excel in all that I lay my hands to do. God's grace is upon me to prosper without sweat. My eyes are anointed to see my opportunities and to maximize these opportunities for increase and productivity in Jesus Name.

Change is commensurate to the word

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 3:18(KJV) 

The Spirit of the Lord will only change you according to what you know in the Word of God. This change the scripture is talking about here is according to what you see or behold in the Word of God.

So if you are not listening to the Word of God, the Spirit of God has nothing to change you with.
In Genesis 1:2, the Bible says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” So we see that the Spirit of God was moving but nothing was created because there was no Word from God yet.

Therefore, if you want the Spirit of God in you to do wonders in your life and produce changes and transform your life, you would have to feed yourself with the Word of God by studying it and confessing it. It is what you confess that the Spirit of God will take and create in your life.

Your change is according to your exposure to the influence of God's Word and His Spirit. The Spirit of God always works with the Word of God in you. Therefore your change is commensurate to the Word of God in you.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I do not get sick because by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. In the Name of Jesus I declare that the wisdom of God is in my mind, I have more wisdom than all my teachers. In the Name of Jesus my tongue is as the pen of the reader writer, I speak the right words. My words are full of power and they minister grace to them that hear me always in Jesus Name.

The divine nature

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
2 Peter 1:4(KJV)    

The word nature in our opening scripture is from the Greek word 'phusis' which also means natural inclination. This means that our opening scripture is letting us see that we share in the ability to live naturally in God's realm.

Therefore being a partaker of the divine nature makes it possible for us to live like our Father God naturally. So just as God will not lie you ought not to lie, because what is in God is inside of you, you have the same native constitution like God. It ought not to be a struggle for you to live right as a child of God because it is your nature.

You have escaped the corruption that is in the world. The word corruption used here refers to moral decay. In other words you have escaped the moral decay in the world because of your participation in the divine nature; where you are not struggling with sin, poverty or disease.

To live in this realm of God you have to soak yourself with the Word of God; listening to the Word of God and keeping your mind fixed on the Word consistently.

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am a partaker of the divine nature. I share in the ability to live like my Father naturally. I have escaped the corruption in the world because I am a partaker of the divine nature. I have dominion over satan, sin, sickness, weakness, disease, fear, death and hell in Jesus Name.

Called to dignity and moral excellence

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”

The glory in our opening scripture refers to 'dignity' and the word virtue refers to 'moral excellence.' That means that God has called each of us to a life of dignity and moral excellence. In other words people should look at your life and find no flaws because you have been given the ability to live a flawless life.

The ability to live a life that is scandal free has already been given to you as a child of God. You have the ability to live such a life that when people look at your life, there is no money anywhere that you have stolen neither is there any woman anywhere that you are hiding, your life is completely free from all scandal. The Bible says that you have been given such an ability. Believe it and walk in it.

Please make this confession if you truly believe; say, “my life is scandal free.” I want you to mean this confession you just made and live your life accordingly because you have the ability. You have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness and you have been called to dignity and moral excellence.

Make no excuse for sin because you have been given everything you need to live a life of dignity and moral excellence. So if you are living in sin, you are living beneath your potential, if you are living in sickness or fear, you are living beneath your potential because as He is so are we in this world (I John 4:17).

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that as He is so am I in this world. I have the ability to live a life of dignity and moral excellence. I renounce every form of compromise even as I manifest the character of Christ in me to live above sin, sickness, fear and every oppression of the devil. Amen.

Our opening scripture shows you that there is no impossibility to you as a child of God. Therefore I will like you to make this confession out loud say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I have the life of God in me. if Jesus won't do it, I won't. If Jesus can do it, I can, because He is in me.”

If Jesus went for an interview, will He be scared? No. That same Jesus is in you today, so don't be scared because you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. So what is that seemingly impossible thing you have to do, approach it with this new attitude and mentality knowing that you can.

Maybe you want to stop a bad habit. The first thing you have to do is to change that mentality that tells you it is not easy, and begin to think based on the Word of God. Meditate on Philippians 4:13 and keep telling yourself “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

When the power of that Word overwhelms your mind, nothing shall be impossible unto you. This is because the Bible says in Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,..."

Therefore I encourage you to walk into new possibilities by the transformation and renewal of your mind by the word of God.

Yesterday, we learnt that we become what we see, so if a Pastor wants to have a church that is holy, he doesn't need to keep on giving them more rules, what he needs to do is to put before them the mirror of the Word of God. As they keep on looking into the mirror of the glory of the Lord, they will be changed into the same image.

One time the Lord spoke to me saying, “It is easy to have a holy church.” And I asked how? Then He answered saying, “I said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”” (John 17:17) The word sanctify in that verse is the Greek word 'hagiazo' which means to make holy. So if you want the church to be made holy, it is not going to be by rules, just keep bringing them the Word of God.

As they keep hearing the Word of God, the Word will start affecting their minds; transforming their thinking, and as a man thinketh in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7). When their minds are transformed, their words, their desires and their conduct will surely change.

You may be reading this today and you know you have some moral struggles that you ought not to  have as a child of God. What you need to do is to expose yourself to the ministry of the Word of God, and as you do, it will make you holy. And before long, you can't dress indecently anymore, you can't go to night clubs anymore. You will be totally changed.

This is why satan always seeks to distract you from the Word of God through condemnation. For example, someone struggling with guilt from a past wrong may find it difficult to read the Bible because of condemnation. This happens because satan knows that if you do not study the Word or listen to the Word of God anymore you are not going to get cleansed. Jesus said in John 15:3, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”  So, no Word, no cleansing. Therefore I encourage you to get to the Word and let it cleanse your mind and your spirit from all filth.

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you for the ministry of your Word in my life, I ask that your Word will purify and cleanse my heart from all filth and condemnation, renewing my mind and producing in me what it talks about in Jesus Name. Amen.

Our opening scripture lets us know that we become what we see. The more we look into the glory of the Lord in the mirror of the Word of God we are changed into the same image from glory to glory.

The question I will like to ask you today is this; what image is before you? “Is it the image of your earthly father, your mother, or your uncle?” Remember that the image you are focusing on will determine what you say about yourself. So if you are saying things like; “I am easily provoked because in our family we have anger problem”. It is because you are focusing on the wrong image of you.

Therefore it is time for you to stop looking into the wrong mirror and start looking into the mirror of the Word of God and your shall be changed into the same image you see in the Word from glory to glory. When you look at the life of Jesus you will discover that He was never sick but rather He was healing the sick and casting out devils.

Therefore, since the Bible says in 1 John 4:17 that as He is so are we in this world, it means that you should also be healing the sick and casting out devils in His Name because you are as He is. Praise God.

PRAYER
Dear Father I ask that you make me perfect in every good work to do your will, working in me that which is well pleasing in your sight in Jesus Name. Amen.

Your true Identity 1

Our  opening  scripture shows us that we are already sons of God just like Jesus. We are not going to become sons of God in the future, no, we are already sons of God today. The Bible goes on to say that when we see Jesus we shall be like Him. So the more I see Jesus in the Word of God (the Bible), the more I see who I am because I am as He is.

For instance, when you look into a mirror, who do you see? You see yourself. This is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” So the more we look into the mirror of the Word of God, the more like Christ we become. Therefore, the identity crisis we have in the body of Christ is because we are not beholding Christ in the Word; “… because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17.

Having this understanding that we are like Jesus means that we ought to respond to the challenges of our lives in the same way Jesus will respond to them. Will Jesus have any sleepless night because of a financial need? When Jesus had no money with Him what did He do? Did He complain? No.

Matthew 17:24-27 shows us what Jesus did when He didn't have any physical cash with Him to pay tax, He immediately knew what to do. He simply said to Peter in Matthew 17:27(GNB), “But we don't want to offend these people. So go to the lake and drop in a line. Pull up the first fish you hook, and in its mouth you will find a coin worth enough for my Temple tax and yours. Take it and pay them our taxes.”

Child of God even as Jesus could not be disadvantaged even in an emergency need, it means that you can never be disadvantaged. Do you believe this?

WHAT ARE YOU LIVING FOR?

“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” Hebrews 10:7(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that Jesus came to do the will of God as written in the volume of the book referring to the book of the law or the Bible as we call it now. Therefore as a child of God if you want to know the will of God for your life, it can be revealed to you from the Bible.

Jesus Christ was the manifestation of the perfect will of God because in John 6:38 Jesus said, “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” This shows us that Jesus came to do the will of God, not His own will. What about you, can you say that about yourself; that you are living for the will of God and not your own will?

So if you want to live in the perfect will of God for your life, the first step you need to take is to be born again.  Jesus reveals this in John 3:7(Good News Bible) where He said emphatically,  “…you must all be born again.” So if you are not born again, you can never fulfill the perfect will of God for your life no matter how good what you are doing is. You must first of all be born again; that is your access into God's perfect will for your life.

Therefore if you want to make Jesus the Lord of your life today and be born again, I encourage you to pray the prayer of salvation below: “O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He is the Son of God. I believe that He died for my sins. I believe with all my heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day for my justification. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my Lord and personal savior. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I receive eternal life into my spirit even now. I ask that you fill me with the knowledge of you will for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.”

INSTRUCTION
 Rededicate yourself today to living for the will of God just as Jesus exemplified for us.

The Word Blessing

Our opening scripture today shows us that God's blessings are carried in His Word because the Bible says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them,…” So the blessing was carried in the words God said to them.

Now if God wants to bless Wale Feso, how is He going to bless me? He says, “I have blessed you with my Spirit.” So I am blessed because He said so. Therefore because I know what God has said when He blessed me I have faith for the Word to manifest in my life.

When Melchizedek blessed Abraham in Genesis 14:18-20, He only spoke words over him. So when you find what the Bible says concerning you, you are finding your blessing because the blessing is your inheritance. Let me explain this with the scenario of a man whose father died. Prior to his death, lets assume that his father was the richest man in that country. When the lawyer comes to read the will his father wrote, whatever the will says belongs to him is automatically his inheritance legally. But he has to take those words as his strong reasons and use them to claim what was given to him by his father in spite of any opposition that comes to challenge the acquisition of his inheritance.

Therefore, God has given you His Word, use that Word to war a good warfare against the devil and every contrary circumstance or situation challenging your faith in the acquisition of your inheritance in Christ. So when the devil challenges you saying, “why are you not going to fall sick, are you not a human being?” Use the Word against him, tell him, it is written, “by the stripes of Jesus I was healed.” Always use the Will which is the Word of God to lay claims to all your inheritance in Christ and every opposition will bow to you.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that by the blood of the lamb and by the Word of my testimony, I have overcome every negative opposition. I lay claims to all my inheritance in Christ. I am strong, the Word of God abides in me and I have overcome the wicked one. Amen.

So the question you need to ask yourself is this, “has God spoken well over me?” And the answer is yes. Go to the Bible and you will find so many blessings that God has already spoken over your life. The reason some Christians are not seeing the blessing in manifestation in their lives is because when they see what God has spoken concerning them in the Word of God, they do not believe it; neither  do they lay claims on it and declare it over their lives.

Some others instead of them to simply believe the Word God has spoken concerning them, they are looking for some spectacular manifestation or maybe for an angel to appear to them and say, “Titilayo you are blessed.” They are like Thomas who  wants to see before he believes, but Jesus said in John 20:29, “…blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you because I know that you have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Greatness is at work in me, greatness is upon my name and greatness is upon my seed in Jesus Name. Amen.

You are blessed 1

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Ephesians 1:3(KJV)

Today we see from our opening scripture that we have already been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. So as a Christian, stop waiting for God to bless you because God has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings.

The Christian that is waiting to be blessed is limited but the Christian that knows he is already blessed has the limits removed from his life. So he already has it made. Please make this confession out loud, say “I am blessed.”

The Bible says in Galatians 3:9, “So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” 1 Peter 3:9 says, “… knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.” The blessing and the blessed life is your inheritance in Christ Jesus. You are already blessed. Therefore stop making statements like; “if God can only bless me.” Child of God, you are already blessed by God.

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus I declare that Abraham's blessings are mine. I am blessed with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I am blessed in my body, I am blessed in the city, the works of my hands are blessed, I am blessed with safety in my going out and in my coming in. My family is blessed, my finances is blessed, nothing shall be missing and nothing shall be broken. I and my household is blessed with peace, prosperity and health and the number of our days we will fulfill. Amen.

Living the finished work

“He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, he made us completely well”
Isaiah 53:5(CEV)

As a Christian you were born into the finished works of Christ. This is because everything written before Jesus went to the cross was a promise, but after Jesus died and rose again, all the promises have become our reality; in other words we have a right to enjoy everyone of those promises now.

For instance, before Jesus went to the cross Isaiah the Prophet prophesied many years before in Isaiah 53:5 saying, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Then after Jesus died and rose again, Peter the Apostle said in 1 Peter 2:24, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Notice that Isaiah said, “…with his stripes we are healed.” After the cross Peter said, “…by whose stripes ye were healed.” This means that when you became born again, you were born into a life of health. So stop waiting for God to heal you, take your healing right now in the Name of Jesus because  by His stripes you were healed.

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus I declare that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. Right now on the authority of the Name of Jesus and the power of the Word of God; I speak life to every fiber of my being, every bone of my body and every cell of my blood, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet I am completely made whole. Amen.

Sickness is not for you

“… Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
Matthew 8:17(KJV)

The Bible shows us in our opening scripture that Jesus already took away from us our infirmities and all our sicknesses. If Jesus took away my sickness, it means that I don't have any. If you believe that then make this confession out loud say: “Sickness is not for me.”

This is true because according to the Bible your sickness has been carried away by Jesus. If Jesus has carried away all your sickness, it therefore means that there is no sickness left for you to be sick with because the one you had has been carried away. So refuse to make confessions that makes it look like sickness is your possession because it is not.

Therefore from today stop making confessions like, “this my headache”, “this my malaria” or “this my waist pain” because of the way you feel. Sickness is not your possession, it is not yours. So instead of laying claims to any form of sickness, disease or pain, tell it to go in the Name of Jesus.

When you make the wrong confessions concerning sickness or disease by laying claims to them, you make it yours because your confession is your collection. What you confess is what you possess because you shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23).

CONFESSION
 In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I do not get sick because Jesus Christ has carried away all my sickness, weakness and disease. The life of God in me makes me immune to every contamination and infection. Amen.

THE SUPERIOR LIFE

“… Christ in you, the hope of glory:” 
Colossians 1:27(KJV)

God spoke to me saying, “Any Christianity that is less than what you see in the life of Jesus or the apostles is substandard Christianity.” This is because Jesus is the model of what we as Christians should be.

Jesus is a prototype of what zoe (the life and nature of God) can do in a human body. The Bible records that when Jesus touched a leprous man the leprosy left him (Matthew 8:3). This was to let us know that disease does not infect those who have zoe.

In order for you to better understand the power of the life and nature of God (zoe) in us, I will like you to know that under the law, if a man had leprosy and you touched him, you will become unclean because according to the law when you have leprosy you are unclean and whoever touches you becomes unclean.  (Leviticus 13:26, 44) But that is not the case when a man has zoe in him.

When you have zoe in you, instead of the disease contaminating you, you decontaminate the disease. How is that made possible? It is because zoe (the life and nature of God) is superior to every sickness and disease. For example we see the workings of zoe in the life of Paul when he was bitten by a serpent in Acts 28:1-5. When you read that portion of scripture, you will notice that the natives were watching him expecting him to die after he was bitten by the serpent, but when he didn't die, they concluded that he was a god.

This is why the Bible says in Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that the Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in me, therefore He that raised up Christ from the dead gives life to my mortal body by His Spirit that dwells in me. I declare that greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. Amen.

THE REALM OF LIFE

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24(KJV)

Jesus said in our opening scripture that when you hear His words and believe in God who sent Him you have everlasting life. Having everlasting life or eternal life is having life as God has it. It is having the God-kind of life that Jesus brought to us.

The moment you got born again, you received the life and nature of God into your spirit. Being born again is an actual rebirth of the human spirit. In John 3:6-7 Jesus said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” This means that if you are born again, it means that your spirit has been reborn. Your spirit has been reborn with the life and nature of God in it.

Titus 1:2 says, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” This means that God wanted us to have eternal life; the same quality of life that He has. Jesus Christ did not come to restore us back to what Adam had, because Adam did not have eternal life. Jesus Christ came to give us zoe – the life and nature of God Himself which was higher than what Adam had.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:45-47(AMP), “Thus it is written, the first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving spirit [restoring the dead to life]. But it is not the spiritual life which came first, but the physical and then the spiritual. The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven.”

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am a child of God, I am born again, I have the life and nature of God in me because Jesus is Lord over my life and I believe with all my heart that God raised Him from the dead on the third day for my justification. Amen

LIVE HOLY

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, …” 
2 Peter 1:3(KJV)

Our opening scripture lets us know that all things that we need for life and godliness have been given unto us. The word godliness in our opening scripture is from the Greek word which also means holiness. This means that everything you need to live a holy life have been given to you.

Child of God a life of holiness is possible because you have been given all the ability you require to live a holy life. So in case you are one of those Christians who make statements like; “I don't know why I cannot live the Christian life, it is not easy.” It is because you are not taking advantage of what has already been given to you, because according to the Word of God, the power has already been given to you to live right.

Therefore know that the ability to live right is already in you. So you do not need to struggle to live right but instead yield to that ability already inside of you as a child of God empowering you to live right.

PRAYER
Dear Father I thank you because I am strengthened with might according to the riches of your glory by your Spirit in my inward man. I am strengthened to do what I ought to do and to refuse to do what I shouldn't do in Jesus Name. Amen.

“… as he is, so are we in this world.”
 1 John 4:17(KJV)

Jesus was the physical manifestation of the possibilities of the divine life. So when you look at Jesus in the Bible, you are seeing what eternal life could do in you; because Jesus is the embodiment of eternal life; and as he is, so are we in this world.

Therefore as a Christian you have received eternal life, this means that you can live life like Jesus. If Jesus was in your situation what will He do? That is how you should think. Think differently because of the possibilities that are available to you in Christ. Don't think like a victim, you are a victor.

Always remember that you have been given all things that pertain unto life; therefore maintain that consciousness knowing that all that you need to live the same quality of life that Jesus lived is available to you.

God said to me, “As thy days, so shall thy strength be.” That is what I confess to my body whenever I feel exhausted. Child of God the victorious life is possible. So don't give up because of what you see, no, be convinced knowing that the Jesus life is possible today in the here and now of your existence.

CONFESSION
As He is, so am I in this world. I am a victor and I have overcome this world because I have the life of God in me. I have been given all things that pertain unto life, and as my day, so shall my strength be in Jesus Name.

The God Kind of Life

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”                      
2 Peter 1:3(KJV)

Our opening scripture lets us know that God's divine power has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. The word life here is from the Greek word, 'zoe' referring to the life and nature of God. Therefore it means that God has given us everything we need to live the God-life.

So Christianity is God bringing man into His realm. This means that everything we need as Christians to live the God-kind of life has been given to us by His power. So as a child of God you can live the God-life on earth.  

1 John 1:2 says, “(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)” This scripture reveals to us that Jesus is zoe in manifestation; because zoe is the life and nature of God.

The only person who demonstrated the life and nature of God first before anyone else is Jesus. He was the life and nature of God manifested. So if God has given us all things that pertain unto life, it means that God expects us to live the Jesus kind of life in the here and now by His power at work in us.

Therefore as a child of God you have been given the capacity to handle your job, your spouse, your children, and all that you do in the way Jesus will handle it.

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I have the gift of eternal life in me. My whole being is dominated by the life and nature of God. I have all I need to live the God life and to experience victory in every area of my life because Christ is my life. Amen.
