Receive rhema
"Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou hath come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God."
Acts 10:33
Today I want you to understand that the rhema of God is a specific word, to a specific person, at a specific time. Cornelius, speaking in our opening scripture, was ready to hear God's rhema (what God had commanded) for him from the mouth of Peter the Apostle.
A minister of the gospel is a messenger. He has the rhema of God in his mouth to all whom God sends him to. The Bible says in Acts 10:44, "while Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word." I want you to notice from the verse we just read that whenever God's rhema is spoken, God's presence is released. When Peter spoke the rhema that God gave him for Cornelius and those with him which was consistent with what God had said in His Word, the Holy Ghost fell on all of them that heard the word.
I pray that, as you receive the rhema that God has for you in this season through this devotional, may you be empowered and endued with the ability of God's Spirit to be, do and have all that God has ordained you to be, do and have in Jesus Name. Amen.
