The divinity of Jesus 2

The divinity of Jesus 2.
“… Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father…” John 14:9(AMP)

Do you know who Jesus is? Jesus is the Father personified. What He said to Philip He says to all, “…Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father…”

Hebrews 1:3(AMP) says concerning Jesus, “He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, …” The Contemporary English Version puts it this way, “God's Son has all the brightness of God's own glory and is like him in every way…” The King James Version says, “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person …”

Jesus proceeded from the Father to reveal to us the very image of God's nature. He is the perfect expression of who God is because He is like God in every way. He reveals to us God's person because He is that express image.

John 1:18(CEV) says, “No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.” Therefore, if you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. Jesus is revealed to us in the Bible. As you read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you will notice that every act of Jesus reveals to us what the Father is like.

Confession.
I believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and my God. He is the Faithful Witness, the first begotten of the dead, the Prince of the kings of the earth, the first and the last. The One that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, is alive for evermore. He has the keys of hell and death, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
