Access To The Kingdom

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
 John 3:5-7 

Being born again or the new birth is what gives you access into the kingdom of God. Until a man or woman is born again he or she is in the kingdom of darkness. Therefore the new birth is your entry into the kingdom of God.

What is a kingdom? A kingdom is a realm, an environment or a sphere where the authority of a king is recognized. So, being born into the kingdom of God by means of the new birth is being born into the realm where God reigns supreme and His dominion is recognized. When you are in the kingdom of God you receive the ability to exercise the power and authority of God over all the power of the enemy – satan.

Also, when you are a citizen of the kingdom of God, you have the legal right and authority to cast out satan and to bind all his works wherever you are and wherever you go. Jesus said in the constitution of our kingdom (The Bible) in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Praise God! “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
