The Christian

“This Christian life is a great mystery, far exceeding our understanding, but some things are clear enough …”
1 Timothy 3:16 (MSG)

The word Christian is from the Greek word 'Christianos' which refers to one that is like the Anointed one. It also refers to one joined to the Anointed one and His anointing. Therefore, the Christian is that man or woman that is a joint heir together with Christ. The Christian is linked to the anointing that is on Jesus.

Galatians 3:26-27 says, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” The shows us that, God's perspective of who a Christian is, is the man or woman who has put on Christ. The word 'put on' in the verse above is from the Greek word 'enduo' which means to be clothed, to sink into, etc. Therefore, to put on Christ means that you have sunk into Christ, so you are completely clothed and wrapped with the same anointing that is on Jesus.

You are no longer ordinary anymore. You carry in you and on you the same anointing that Jesus carried. The Bible says, “… as he is, so are we in this world” - 1 John 4:17. Whatever cannot stop Christ cannot stop you. Whatever bows to Christ bows to you because you carry the fullness of Christ in you.
Praise God!

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am unstoppable because I carry in me and on me, the same anointing that Jesus carried. Nothing shall be impossible unto me even as I make unhindered progress in all that God has called me to do. Amen.

Doing the word
Meditate on 1 John 4:17, “… as he is, so are we in this world.”
