Give
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure,
pressed down, and shaken together, and running
over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the
same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.”
Luke 6:38
I want to encourage you to put God first in your finances. There is no other way to express your faith in God concerning you finances other than in giving. If you have faith that God will supply, you will give, but if you do not have faith in God's supply, you will not give.
One of the reasons why people do not give is because of fear. Fear is an expression of a lack of trust in God's ability to provide, protect and promote. So when God gives you an instruction to give this year, it is important you know that it is an invitation for a divine encounter in your finances and in His provisions towards you.
Every instruction you receive from God is access to provision, protection and promotion. When God instructed the widow woman to give all she had left to the Prophet Elijah she thought she was going to die, but when she obeyed she accessed divine provision.
The Bible shows us this in 1 Kings 17:12-16 (MSG), She said,
“I swear, as surely as your GOD lives, I don't have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we'll die." “Elijah said to her, "Don't worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you've said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what's left for you and your son. This is the word of the GOD of Israel: 'The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before GOD sends rain on the land and ends this drought.'" And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked. And it turned out as he said-- daily food for her and her family. The jar of meal didn't run out and the bottle of oil didn't become empty: GOD's promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!”
Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You that as I give in obedience to Your Word to me in this season, it
shall be given unto me; in good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into my bosom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Doing the Word
Whatever God demands that you give in this season, give it mindful of the harvest He has already prepared for you.
