Give

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure,
pressed down, and shaken together, and running
over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the
same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
measured to you again.”
Luke 6:38

I want to encourage you to put God first in your finances. There is no other way to express your faith in God concerning you finances other than in giving. If you have faith that God will supply, you will give, but if you do not have faith in God's supply, you will not give.

One of the reasons why people do not give is because of fear. Fear is an expression of a lack of trust in God's ability to provide, protect and promote. So when God gives you an instruction to give this year, it is important you know that it is an invitation for a divine encounter in your finances and in His provisions towards you.

Every instruction you receive from God is access to provision, protection and promotion. When God instructed the widow woman to give all she had left to the Prophet Elijah she thought she was going to die, but when she obeyed she accessed divine provision.

The Bible shows us this in 1 Kings 17:12-16 (MSG), She said,
“I swear, as surely as your GOD lives, I don't have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we'll die." “Elijah said to her, "Don't worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you've said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what's left for you and your son. This is the word of the GOD of Israel: 'The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before GOD sends rain on the land and ends this drought.'" And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked. And it turned out as he said-- daily food for her and her family. The jar of meal didn't run out and the bottle of oil didn't become empty: GOD's promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You that as I give in obedience to Your Word to me in this season, it
shall be given unto me; in good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into my bosom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Proverbs 3:9-10, Ecclesiastes 11:1-2(MSG), 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.

Doing the Word
Whatever God demands that you give in this season, give it mindful of the harvest He has already prepared for you.

Keep Out Of Debt

A Word in Due Season

Keep Out Of Debt

“Keep out of debt and owe no man anything …”
Romans 13:8(AMP)

One thing you must do for yourself this year is to keep out of debt and do not owe any man anything.

Learn the discipline of not living above your means but relying on the sufficiency of Christ even in difficult circumstances.

Apostle Paul expresses this discipline to us in Philippians 4:11-13(AMP) saying,
“… for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am. I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].”

This year do not acquire debts: do not buy clothes and shoes on credit. Do not spend your money before it comes. This is because whenever you buy anything on credit you have spent the money in your future. Clothes and shoes do not have second hand value, so do not invest in them.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that in this season, may the work of my hands, my ideas and my business be anointed with grace to produce wealth and increase, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Proverbs 13:11, Ephesians 4:28, 2 Thessalonians3:7-12.

Be prudent in your finances. You can also get books and messages that will help you in that direction.

What Do You Have?

What Do You Have?

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: …”
Acts 3:6

Today, I want you to observe the words of Peter in our opening scripture. He said, “… such as I have give I thee …” The question here is: What did Peter have?

To understand what Peter had, I will like to share with you from Matthew 9 where Jesus had just healed a lame man, in Matthew 9:8, the Bible says,

“But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.” The word power in the verse you just read actually means authority. This is made obvious to us in the Good News Bible which puts it this way, “When the people saw it, they were afraid, and praised God for giving such authority to people.”

This was what Peter knew he had. He knew God had given him power and authority, so he knew what he had. He knew he had the right, the capacity and the jurisdiction to make the lame man walk in the Name of Jesus, so he said to him; , "I have no money at all, but I give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I order you to get up and walk!" Acts 3:6(GNB)

Do you know that you also have been given the same authority as a child of God in the Name of Jesus to do mighty works and to heal the sick? Therefore start using the Name of Jesus today with confidence and God will back you up.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have been given power and authority over all the ability of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. God is working special miracles, signs and wonders through my hands in the Name of Jesus.

For further study, read:
Mark 16:17-18, John 14:12-14, Acts 6:8, Acts 8:5-13.

Doing the Word
Confidently pray for the sick.

God Wants You To Prosper

A Word in Due Season

God Wants You To Prosper

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest
prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth.”
3 John 1:2

The word 'prosper' in our opening scripture also means to succeed in business affairs. This means that God wants your business to succeed. God wants you to make progress and move from one level to another. We live in levels and we arrive in stages.

There are different levels of success. That is why the word to prosper in the Greek also means a prosperous journey and it also means to be successful. This means that the word prosper and the word success are interchangeable in our biblical context.

Therefore since to prosper means to be successful, we can read 3John 1:2 in this context, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest succeed in your business affairs and be in health even as your soul prospereth.” This scripture shows us that God wants you to prosper and succeed in all three aspects of your life.

One is the material aspect of your life, which includes: your finances, your business and your career. The second aspect is your health. God wants you to prosper in your health. God wants you to be healthy. Thirdly, God wants you to prosper in your soul. Therefore, your total success is a priority to God.

If you are not successful in all three realms of success; materially, physically in your health and spiritually in your soul, you are not truly successful in the sight of God.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that as I long after You and desire more of You and Your word in my life. I thank You for it activates Your good fortune, progress, success and prosperity in my spirit, soul and body, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Deuteronomy 8:18, Proverbs 4:20-22, Proverbs 24:14.

Doing the Word
Give time daily to your spiritual development because that is what determines and sustains your material prosperity and your health.

Upgrade Your Thinking
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …”
Proverbs 23:7

Your present condition or your present circumstance is a result of your current level of thinking. The way you think will affect the quality of your life.

Dr. Tom Anderson said, “Until people think differently they will continue to be poor and they will continue to be sick.” Your thoughts affect the quality of your life. This is why you must continue to renew your mind with the Word of God.

When you hear the Word of God, God uses His Word to align your thinking with His thoughts. To the measure you align to divine thinking to that measure you will enjoy divine provision.

Dr. Jonathan Zinni did a research and they found out that if they gave everybody in the world one million dollars there will still be enough money to go round. Bill Gates alone is worth about sixty billion dollars or more. It is said that there are only about 6.8 billion people in the world, so it is obvious that there is a lot of money in the world.

So, the reason people are poor is not because of a lack of money. It is said that poverty is not a
condition of been without money, it is a belief of the heart. Therefore, it is what you believe that determines the condition and the circumstances of your life.

Prayer.
Dear Father, according to Your Word to me today, I reject poverty and lack, I choose to accept the life of abundance and plenty because according to Your Word in 2 Corinthians 8:9, Jesus became poor so that I through His poverty might become rich. I am rich, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

For further study, read:
2 Corinthians 8:9, Proverbs 24:30-34, Proverbs 28:19-20.

Doing the Word.
Do not be slothful and lazy. Do not live in idleness, you can create a job for yourself.

Your Success Is Your Responsibility

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:7-8

The words you just read in our opening scripture, are God's words to Joshua. I will like you to read from your Bible the first six opening verses of Joshua chapter 1, and you will discover that before God spoke the words in our opening scripture to Joshua, He already gave him a word concerning the great things He was going to do with Him.

I will like you to understand that Joshua 1:7-8 was an instruction given to Joshua by God. This instruction was important because Joshua's success and prosperity in what God has sent him to do was tied to the Word of God, and the instructions contained in it.

Therefore, if Joshua does not observe to do all that God has spoken to Him, he will not be able to enter in and possess the land that the Lord has given to the children of Israel.

The Father has spoken to you concerning this year. But you are responsible for how much of heaven you enjoy in your life this year.

So, if you want to enjoy the very best that the Father has prepared for you this year, you must be diligent to begin to observe to do all that He has commanded you to do in the Word of God.(Please read Deuteronomy 11:18-21)

Meditate on the Word of God, let it be in your mouth day and night, then you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success. God bless you.

Confession.
By my faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I declare that I am making progress, am moving forward, am getting greater and greater, because my path is the path of the righteous and it is shinning brighter and brighter unto the perfect day, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Deuteronomy 6:3, Deuteronomy 28:1-13, James 1:22-25.
