A vision is a revelation of God's plan and purpose for your life. Vision gives meaning to life. When you discover God's vision for your life, your life takes on a new meaning.
For instance, our opening scripture is a revelation of God's plan and purpose for the life of Jesus. The reason Jesus came was to save His people from their sins.
Since Jesus understood God's plan and purpose for His life, He said in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Therefore, discovering God's vision for your life gives you a sense of value. This is because if God has a plan for my life it means I am important. You plan for only what is valuable so if God Almighty has a plan for my life it means I am of value and I am important. Discovery of vision will cure you of insecurities.
I encourage you to discover God's vision for your life and keep your focus on it.
