Lessons From Jesus 3

“Then Jesus went up a hill and called to himself the men he wanted. They came to him, and he chose twelve, whom he named apostles. "I have chosen you to be with me," he told them. "I will also send you out to preach, and you will have authority to drive out demons."
Mark 3:13-15 (GNT)

You cannot follow the principles of Jesus and fail in business. For instance, Jesus understood personnel training. He trained His staff (His apostles). Isn't that what we do today when anyone is employed in a corporate establishment? They are given an orientation and trained to know what obtains in that establishment.

When you read our opening scripture, you will see that Jesus chose twelve to be with him so that they could be trained before they are sent out to do the work. This meant that Jesus did not send out the Apostles without training them first. What about you? Do you train your staff before you post them out to work?

In every business, you ought to submit reports. Jesus also practiced this principle with the Apostles as seen in Mark 6:30 (NIV), “The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.” This reveals that Jesus had a time when He met with his leaders to receive their reports. Do you have that in your business? You can't follow principles like this and fail in business. I encourage you to put these things into practice in your business.

Instruction.
Please read 1 Chronicles 12:22 and 1 Samuel 23:16 and ask God to bring into your life people who will facilitate the fulfilment of your dreams and destiny.

For further study, read:
Proverbs 16:11 (MSG), Proverbs 20:8 (MSG), Luke 16:1-2.

Doing the Word
Do not delegate to anyone you have not trained. Prioritize training.
