We have received of His fullness.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
  Acts 10:38(KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. By so doing, He was manifesting the goodness of God. He went about doing good; demonstrating the virtues and perfections of God.

Jesus Christ was the glory of God personified according to Hebrews 1:1-3, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”

Jesus is the glory of God personified, and all of us who have received of His life, have received of His fullness. The Bible says in John 1:16, “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” This means that God's glory is in us today. Therefore, we have received grace and the ability to do good works and also to demonstrate the virtues and the perfections of God.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Therefore, Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Titus 2:13-14 says, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
