Increase in wisdom 2.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.” Proverbs 4:7-8(KJV)

From our opening scripture, we see that if you get wisdom and increase in wisdom, that wisdom will promote you.

One of the ways to increase in wisdom is to spend time meditating on the Word of God. This is because as the intelligence of that Word gains control over your mind, that is wisdom. This is because God’s Word is His wisdom.

In Matthew 7:24-27 the Jesus said, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

The proof that you are wise is choosing to build you life by the Word of God. The words of Jesus shows us that there is a reward for building your life by the Word of God. The reward is that when the rain, the floods and the negative wind of life comes against you, you will not fall because you are founded on the rock.

The Word of God is a sure foundation for everyone who will build their lives upon it.

Prayer:
Dear Father I thank you that as I subject my mind to meditating upon the truth of your Word, may your wisdom dominate my mind and all my actions to be in conformity to your Word so that all that I do will be crowned with success in Jesus Name. Amen.
