Rest from worry.

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”
Matthew 6:31-32(KJV)

Do you know  that your heavenly Father already knows about the issues that you are worrying about? He is already aware of your needs and concerns, but as long as you continue to worry about them, He is not going to do anything about it, because you are in unbelief. See 1Peter 5:7.

When you choose to rest from the worries of your life, that is when God will swing into action on your behalf.

Some Christians sometimes reveal their lack of faith and confident rest in God and His Word, by trying to make their way successful through the arm of the flesh. So, they begin to look for connections, or some begin to borrow money here and there. No, that's not the way of success. See Jeremiah 17:5-8.

The Psalmist said in Psalm 121:1-2, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Trusting in the arm of the flesh is also unbelief, because the arm of the flesh will fail you. See 1 Samuel 2:9. Psalm 20:7-8 says, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.”

Therefore, turn away from man's wisdom and do what the Word says in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” Its time to put the Lord first, then watch Him add all those things you desire to you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, my trust is in you alone. I rest from all my worries because I believe and I expect you to do for me exceeding, abundantly, and far above all that I can ask or think today according to your Power that is at work in me, in Jesus Name. Amen.
