Frame your year

Frame your year.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”
John 1:1-3

It is evident from our opening scripture that the Word of God has God's creative ability in it.
Therefore as you are about to enter into a new year, enter the year with this understanding that God's creative ability is in you because Christ who is the Word of God made flesh, according to John 1:14, is in you. The Bible also admonishes us in Colossians 3:16 to allow the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. So, I encourage you, even as you enter into the New Year, to load yourself up with the Word of God, until it comes out of your mouth. Then you can with those words frame your year.

Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Therefore, if God framed this world that we see with His Word, then you can also frame your year and the circumstances of your life with the Word of God. The word 'framed' also means repaired or mended. In other words, through the Word of God in your mouth, you can repair or mend anything, including your body, circumstances or even the year.

The word framed in Hebrews 11:3, also means restored. This means that if you seek any form of restoration in any area of your life, you can call forth that restoration with the Word of God. Get the Word (scriptures) that deals with that specific situation and speak to it demanding a restoration. And the Lord says to you, “I will give you back what you lost in the years … Now you will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied. You will praise the LORD your God, who has done wonderful things for you. My people will never be despised again.” Joel 2:25,26 (GNB). Amen.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I believe your Word to me. Your creative ability is in me because Christ is in me. Therefore, as I speak what I desire to see in the coming year, so shall it be unto me in the Name of Jesus. I bless the year 2016 with your goodness. May the year release favours and prosperity unto me. The year shall bring fruitfulness and productivity. Thank you Father for increased productivity in my spiritual life, in my mind and in my body. It shall be an acceptable year of the Lord unto me and my household in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The righteousness of God

The righteousness of God.

“For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God; And they may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the salvation which is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has put forward as the sign of his mercy, through faith, by his blood, to make clear his righteousness when, in his pity, God let the sins of earlier times go without punishment; And to make clear his righteousness now, so that he might himself be upright, and give righteousness to him who has faith in Jesus.”
Romans 3:23-26(BBE)

One of the reasons Jesus came was to make clear God's righteousness. This is because, all through history, God has been blamed for the sin Adam and Eve committed in the garden of Eden. Many have made statements like, “If God knew they were going to sin, then why did He make the woman?” They say, “If God had not made the woman, everything would have been okay.” So they put the guilt and the responsibility for the fall of man on God.

How does God justify Himself? He takes full responsibility for our sin. He made Jesus who committed no sin to pay for all our sins. Isaiah 53:4-5(GNB) show us the picture, "But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne. All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God. But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received.” So all the suffering that Jesus suffered was not for Himself; He did it for us.

Therefore, just as we became sinners and were condemned because of the sin Adam committed, now with the same principle, we are made righteous because of what Jesus did. The obedience of Jesus as well as His righteousness is accounted to us. By so doing, God justifies Himself.

Romans 5:18-19(ISV) say, “Consequently, just as one offense resulted in condemnation for everyone, so one act of righteousness results in justification and life for everyone. For just as through one man's disobedience many people were made sinners, so also through one man's obedience many people will be made righteous.”

Confession.
Jesus bore my sins, sickness, pain, poverty and every consequence of the fall of man, that I might become the righteousness of God. Right now, I declare that I am free from sin, sickness, pain, poverty and every consequence of the fall of man, according to the scriptures.

God is at work in you

God is at work in you.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:13(KJV)

You are not alone; God is in you, energizing you and producing in you the desires and the ability to do His good pleasure. God is working, talking and loving through you.

You have become God's headquarters on earth today. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 3:16, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” You have been made God's outreach centre to your world. You are God's point of contact and He wants to reach your world through you. God is within their reach because you are there.

In 2 Corinthians 3:5-6, the Bible say, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” In your own ability, you cannot effectively reach your world with God's power and do His good pleasure, but when He is at work in you, you are supernaturally enabled to reach your world with His power and do His good pleasure. Now, Christ can be seen in you because Galatians 3:27(ALT) says, “For as many as were baptized [or, immersed] into Christ put on [or, clothed yourselves with] Christ.”

When Christ was here on earth carrying out His ministry, the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that, “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself …” Today, the Bible says that Christ lives in you (Colossians 1:27). If Christ lives in you, it means that He will continue to carry out His ministry of reconciling the world to God through you. That is why the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

Confession.
Christ in me the hope of glory. God was in Christ and Christ is in me. I am not trying to reach God; He is already resident in me. I am His home, His abode, His dwelling place. I cannot leave Him because I carry Him in me wherever I go. The presence and the power of God are in me, twenty four hours a day every day of my life. Praise God!

Jesus made us righteous

Jesus made us righteous.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus came to give us righteousness. What is righteousness? Righteousness is the right and the rightness of being to stand in the presence of God without guilt, inferiority or condemnation.

The Bible says in our opening scripture that Jesus was made sin for us. Where? On the cross! He was our sin offering because God laid all our sins on Him. Therefore His death became the payment for all our sins. As a result of His sacrifice, we are made the righteousness of God in Him.

So when you believe in Jesus Christ, by that faith, you receive a right to stand in the presence of God. Your access into the presence of God is not by your works, because no one can come to God or be righteous before God on the basis of his works (See Romans 3:28). It has to be by faith in the blood of Christ.

Romans 10:4 says, “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” So then, what was the purpose of the law? The purpose of the law was to show us what sin is (See Romans 3:20), to

make us guilty before God (See Romans 3:19) and to show us our need for a Saviour (See Romans 7:24-25). Romans 3:24(BBE) says, “So the law has been a servant to take us to Christ, so that we might have righteousness by faith.”

Galatians 2:16 says, “Being conscious that a man does not get righteousness by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we had faith in Christ Jesus, so that we might get righteousness by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law will no flesh get righteousness.”

Confession.
By my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am righteous and I have peace with God by my faith in the finished works of Christ. Amen.

For further study, read:
Acts 13:38-39; Romans 5:12-19; Galatians 3:10-12; Galatians 5:4.

Doing the Word:

We have delegated authority

We have delegated authority.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Mark 16:17-18

We have divine immunity in the Name of Jesus. The authority of Jesus has been delegated to every one of us that believe in His Name. For He said in our opening scripture, “… In my name shall they cast out devils …”

Through the authority that we have in the Name of Jesus, we have become a victorious and triumphant Church. The Bible says in Luke 10:17, “… even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” We are not afraid of devils because they are our subjects. They are slaves unto us in the Name of Jesus. Therefore they obey every command from us.

The greater One is inside of us. We are not weaklings; we are victors because Christ, who whipped the devil, sin, sickness, disease and poverty is inside of us today. This means that we are more than a match for any devil.

The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” In Romans 8:37, the Bible says, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Therefore, we are more than conquerors because the all-conquering One is in us today.

Confession.
I am more than a conqueror because the victorious Christ who conquered death, the devil, sin, sickness, disease, poverty, fear, and all the power of the enemy, lives in me today, and He has given me the legal right to use His all-conquering Name on earth. In that name, I have authority to command obedience of things in heaven, of things on the earth and of things under the earth, because Jesus is Lord.  Amen.

The devil is incapacitated

The devil is incapacitated.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Hebrews 2:14-15

Jesus came to destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. The devil's greatest weapon is death and all fear is rooted in the fear of death. Therefore, for Jesus to be able to break the power of death, He had to die.

According to the scripture in Hebrews 2:9, Jesus tasted death for every man. By dying for you, He paid the full penalty for your sins so that satan would not be able to touch you or your seed. Through His death for you, Jesus made satan's power of none effect. He reduced him to nothing; completely incapacitated Him and took from him the power of death.

Therefore, satan has no legal right to kill you because of what Jesus accomplished for you by His death. It is illegal for satan to oppress you or make you sick anymore. The devil has been totally disarmed in your case. Every oppression of the devil is illegal.

So, I encourage you today to serve a notice to all oppression, sickness and every devil of darkness. Adjure them in the Name of Jesus to stop in their maneuvers against you or any member of your family and all that concerns you, and cast them out.

Prayer.
In the authority of the Name of Jesus, satan I bind you and every devil of darkness to stop in your operations concerning me and every member of my household. We are completely immune and free from all spiritual harassment in every area of our lives in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Rebirth

The Rebirth.

“Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; the old [things] passed away, look!, all [things] have become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17(ALT)

Our opening scripture shows us the revelation of the New Birth. It is the actual rebirth of the human spirit. We become new creatures without a past, because the old has passed away and all things have become new.

1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” So, being born again is being born of God by the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. A born again person is truly of divine origin. He is an offspring of God. The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: …”

Just as Jesus Christ was a child of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18), we also are born of the Spirit. John 3:5-7 say, “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

If you are not born again, you can get born again right now and become a new creation in Christ, free from all your past sins and the sin nature. All you need to do is to receive the salvation gift which Jesus Christ offers to you today. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. To For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

If you believe in your heart the Lord Jesus and you want to make Him your Lord and personal Saviour today please pray the prayer below:

Prayer of Salvation.
“O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He is the Son of God. I believe that He died for my sins. I believe with all my heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day for my justification. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I receive eternal life into my spirit even now. Amen.”

He destroyed satan's works.

He destroyed satan's works.

“… For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
1 John 3:8

One of the reasons Jesus came was to destroy the works of the devil. The word destroy in our opening scripture means to undo. This means that Jesus came to undo the works of satan. The word destroy also means to loose. This means that Jesus came to break off the hold of satan from us.

Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Therefore, if you are being oppressed in your body by any form of sickness, use the name of Jesus right now to undo and break off that hold of sickness in your body.

In Luke 4:18 Jesus declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” That anointing that was on Jesus is with you today. According to Isaiah 10:27, when that anointing is at work every, “…burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I command every yoke and burden of the enemy upon my life to be destroyed and taken away right now, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Colossians 2:15; 1 John 3:8; Hebrews 2:5.

Stand therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, and be not entangled again by the yoke of bondage.

You have life and light in Christ

You have life and light in Christ.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
Acts 26:18

At the new birth when you get born again, is when your spiritual eyes are open. That is when the life of God that enlightens a man's spirit comes in. The Lord Jesus said in John 9:39, “…For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see …”

When you begin to see as God wants you to see, in line with His word, the mundane things of this world that used to be important to you will become absolute nonsense.

Paul the Apostle in Philippians 3:7-9 say, “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

Any man that has not received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is still in darkness whether He knows it or not. He may even be educated or may even be zealous and religious like Saul before he received salvation (Galatians 1:13-16). Until you receive Christ as Lord and Saviour, you are not saved, neither are you enlightened as far as God is concerned. Such a person is still in darkness until now.

The Bible testifying about Jesus in John 1:9-12 say, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”

Jesus Christ is the only true light. Every other light, christ or religion outside of Jesus Christ is false. 1 John 4:1-3 say, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

Confession.
I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, and I believe that He is the true Light and that He came in the flesh to save me by His life. Now, I have the light of life because I have received the life of God into my spirit. That life has brought enlightenment to my mind and vitality to my mortal body by His Spirit that lives in me. Amen.

He saved us from sin.

He saved us from sin.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21

The name Jesus means Saviour in the Greek translation. In the Hebrew, Jesus means Jehovah is Saviour. That is why to get born again, according to Romans 10:9, you would have to confess that Jesus is Lord.

The next thing we see in our opening scripture is the first reason why Jesus came; He came to save us from our sins. There is no way any man can be saved from sin apart from Jesus. Jesus is our deliverer from sin and the power of sin. He is our redeemer. He redeemed us by the price He paid in His death, and by the shedding of His sinless blood, our sins were remitted.

1 John 3:4-5 say, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”

Until Jesus came, no man was qualified to pay the price to take away sin. The Bible says in Psalm 49:7-8(AMP), “None of them can by any means redeem [either himself or] his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him-- For the ransom of a life is too costly, and [the price one can pay] can never suffice” It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that can redeem man. Ephesians 1:7 says, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because I know, according to the scriptures, that I have been completely delivered from sin and the power of sin has been broken from my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You are a new creation

You are a new creation.
“So then, from now on we do not think of anyone from a human point of view. Even if we did think of Christ from a human point of view, we don't think of him that way any more.”
2 Corinthians 5:16(ISV)

Brothers and sisters in Christ, it is high time we stopped judging ourselves according to our natural birth or surrounding circumstances. Jesus said in John 15:19, “… ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world…” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18a (ALT) say, “Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; the old [things] passed away, look!, all [things] have become new. And all these [things are] of God,”

We are new creatures now in Christ, and because of that, we do not judge ourselves by our natural birth anymore. All things, including our spiritual and moral condition, have become new. We are new on the inside, having a new heart and a new spirit.

The Bible says that all these things are of God. Thus, all these new things are of God, who has brought divinity into us today. Everything inside of us now is of divine origin. The Bible lets us know in John 1:13 that as new creatures, who are sons of God. He says that we “… were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
Now that we have been born of God, it means that the Life of God is in us. 1 John 5: 11-13 say, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Therefore, we have become more than mere human beings because the ability as well as the nature of God is inside of us today as a result of our new birth in Christ. So, let us not judge ourselves by natural circumstances anymore. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:18(BBE), “While our minds are not on the things which are seen, but on the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are for a time; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” You may not see it with your physical eyes, but God is in you. Become God-inside-minded. So, judge yourself by what the Word of God says and not who the world says you are.

Confession.
I am what God says I am. I choose to see myself the way God sees me. I am more than a man because the nature and the ability of God are at work in me and through me. I declare that the life as well as the ability of God in me is subduing my human nature and desires even as I learn to live with the consciousness of who I am in Christ.

For further study, read:
Titus 3:3-7; James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:23.

Doing the Word:
Stop seeing yourself just from a human point of view. As a new creation, you are more than human.

Go for knowledge

Go for knowledge.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge …”
Hosea 4:6

Ignorance is weakness. Knowledge is strength. The Bible also says in Proverbs 24:5, “A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.” There is a strength that is imparted into you when you have knowledge. That strength is called confidence this confidence produces in you a firm assurance or conviction in these truths that have been revealed to you from the word of God.

This is important because we can only enjoy our God-given authority over the cohorts of hell when we have a revelation of who Jesus really is. When we know Him, then we will understand the power we have in His Name.

Paul the Apostle praying for the Ephesian Church in Ephesians 1:17(GW) prayed, “I pray that the glorious Father, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know Christ better.” Why did Paul pray for them in this way? He did because of what the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Christ better will do for them and every child of God as revealed in Ephesians 1:18-23(GW), “Then you will have deeper insight. You will know the confidence that he calls you to have and the glorious wealth that God's people will inherit. You will also know the unlimited greatness of his power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers. He worked with that same power in Christ when he brought him back to life and gave him the highest position in heaven. He is far above all rulers, authorities, powers, lords, and all other names that can be named, not only in this present world but also in the world to come. God has put everything under the control of Christ. He has made Christ the head of everything for the good of the church. The church is Christ's body and completes him as he fills everything in every way.”
Therefore, I encourage you to pray Ephesians 1:17 for yourself everyday because as you do, you would have the revelation of Christ. In other words, you would have an accurate, full, specific and precise knowledge of Christ.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask for a release of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, that the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened, that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what is the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
