You and your success.

Saturday, December  31st.
You and your success.

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  Joshua 1:7-8

The words in our opening scripture spoken by God to Joshua are also His words to you as well especially as you prepare to enter into a new year. I will like you to read from your Bible the first six opening verses of Joshua chapter 1, and you will discover that before God spoke the words in our opening scripture to Joshua, He already gave him a word concerning the great things He was going to do with Him.

Joshua 1:7-8 was an instruction given to Joshua by God. This instruction was important because, Joshua's success and prosperity in what God has sent him to do was tied to His adherence the Word of God, and the instructions contained in it.Therefore, if Joshua does not observe to do all that God has spoken to Him, he will not be able to enter in and posses the land that the Lord has given to the children of Israel.

The year 2017 is a great year for you, but you are responsible for how much of the blessing that will be manifested in your life. So if you want to enjoy the very best that the Father has prepared for you next year, you must be diligent to begin to observe to do all that He has commanded you to do in the Word of God.

Meditate on the Word of God, let it be in your mouth day and night, then you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success. God bless you. Happy new year in advance.

Confession.
By my faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I declare that I am making progress, am moving forward, am getting greater and greater even as I proceed into the year 2017, because my path is the path of the righteous and it is shinning brighter and brighter until the perfect day, in Jesus Name.

Renew your mind.

Friday, December  30th.
Renew your mind.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2

Why is it important for you to constantly renew your mind by the Word of God? So that you can see the world from God's perspective. You may have learnt so many wrong things because of the company you kept, the books you have read and the movies you have watched. You would have to consciously and deliberately renew your mind with the Word of God for you to have a different world view.

The way you think with your mind is determined by all the information you have imbibed from the Word of God or from natural men, this is why you have to make sure your mind is renewed because your way of thinking is what will determine the way you see with your eyes. In other words, your world view is determined by the information in your mind.

For instance, because my world view is based on the Word of God or God's perspective, as a man I do not see a woman as the natural corrupt minded man will see her. I do not see a woman as a prey; someone to date, deceive and molest.

I see a woman as someone to be protected, prayed for, nurtured in the things of the Spirit and guided in the right way to be able to fulfill her destiny.

Therefore, as you are preparing to enter into a new year, prioritize the renewal of your mind because your life will not change if your mind is not renewed by the Word of God. So the change you desire will be according to the transformation that takes place in your mind.

Instruction.
Please read Ephesians 1:17-18 and pray the prayer for yourself.

The realm of death.

Thursday,  December  29th.
The realm of death.

“Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death …”
Romans 8:6 (AMP)

Many lives are without the blessing because they are living their lives from their carnal minds and reasoning. If you are going to walk in the blessing you must allow the Holy Spirit guide your life in God's way out the realm of sense and reason without the Holy Spirit.

When you start reasoning the things of God and your life outside of God's Word and going against what God has said in His Word you will cut yourself off from the blessing. Many have cut themselves from the blessing; going the way of sense and reason without the Holy Spirit which is the realm of death.

If you choose not to tithe because of the pressure of your needs; you are going the way of sense and reason without the Holy Spirit and the Bible shows us in our opening scripture that is the realm of death.

Instead of thinking like an ordinary man and allowing the pressure of your needs control you, think about the blessing, think about God's input into your life when you tithe, think about the favour you will enjoy, etc.

When your thinking is dependent on God this way it will produce life and peace; which is the realm of the blessing.

Do not drift from the blessing.

Wednesday, December  28th.
Do not drift from the blessing.

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
Genesis 3:1

Today, I want to highlight some things that led to the loss of the blessing by man in the beginning. This is important because if you know how man lost the blessing, you will know what you should not do if you want to sustain the flow of the blessing in your life.

The first thing that can begin to cause you to drift and disconnect from the blessing is questioning the integrity of the Word of God. So for you to receive, function and flow with the blessing consistently, you must learn to take God at His Word.

One way you know you are beginning to drift from walking in the blessing is choosing to do things independently from God. Unconsciously, you no longer rely on the Word of God and the principles of the kingdom. Such people who are drifting in this way, know very well that what they are about to get involved in or do is not in God's time and it is opposed to God's way, but they still persist in doing it. Living that way will disconnect you from the blessing.

Examine your life and your practices? Are you on the path of those who disconnect themselves from the blessing? If you are I encourage you to repent today and make the right adjustments to get back on the right course where the Word of God becomes the last Word in your life and all that concerns you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you expose every seed of falsehood or error that has entered into my belief system and purge me of them all, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Wisdom for prosperity.

Tuesday, December  27th.
Wisdom for prosperity.

“Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.”
Proverbs 23:4-5

There are people who do not believe in the blessing. All they believe in is hard work. Though it is possible for you to be rich through hard work alone but the wealth that comes from hard work alone without the blessing is not permanent.

There are others who believe in been mischievous and corrupt in other for them to be rich. Such wealth as well will not last. Any prosperity that is not based on God's principles has no guarantee because it has no sure foundations. Proverbs 13:11a (GW) says, “Wealth gained through injustice dwindles away …”

There are men who have amassed riches and money many years ago without the blessing; today we cannot even remember their names. Most of them went totally bankrupt before they died because their prosperity had no foundations. Do not envy those who may seem to be rising today without the blessing upon their lives, their end will be miserable unless they retrace their steps back to God.

If you are a child of God, your focus must be different from the rest of the world. You are not under the same economy with them so you should not operate the same principles with them. You rise by the blessing, so you must remain committed to the spread of the gospel through your material wealth because as you take part in furthering kingdom causes, not only will your prosperity be sustained, your children and their children's children will be great. It also guarantees the promise of an eternal reward for you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you grant unto me wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Accessing wealth.

Monday,  December 26th.
Accessing wealth.

“The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.”
Proverbs 10:15

To the natural man wealth is power but there are also other kinds of power. We have mental power; this can be referred to as scientific knowledge or intelligence to natural men but for us as Christians it is wisdom. There is physical power which is strength. We also have economic power which is money. There is social power which is favour. We also have spiritual power which we get from God as Christians.

Spiritual power can give you access to wealth, influence, wisdom, and to all the different types of power listed above.

So how then can one gain access to wealth? This could also be referred to as economic power. Deuteronomy 8:18 shows us how, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” This means that there is a supernatural empowerment to get wealth. That empowerment is the blessing as seen in Proverbs 10:22, “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

The blessing of the Lord upon you will give you effortless success. That does not mean that you would not need to work. Effortless success means that no matter how hard you work, your results would always be beyond every known effort you put into what was accomplished. The supernatural hand of God will always be evident in your life. But you must remember that such a blessed life is accessed and sustained by promoting God's divine agenda or by your partnership in the gospel. Therefore, I encourage you to make a commitment to kingdom expansion by partnering with the gospel and watch God expand your business and your capacity to get wealth.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you that as I commit financially to promoting the gospel through kingdom partnership, I believe I receive the supernatural empowerment to be more, do more and have more for the sake of the gospel, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Psalm 37:22, Psalm 107:38, Ecclesiastes 5:19.

Doing the Word.

The commandment of love.

Sunday, December  25th.
The commandment of love.

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8

Merry Christmas. Today I will like to remind us of a very important commandment we have in the New Testament; it is the commandment of love. From our opening scripture we see that love is not just an option for us it is an obligation we owe. There is no better day to talk about this than Christmas day; a day chosen globally to remember and celebrate God's gift of love to mankind. Just as God already gave us Love in the person of Jesus, you owe love as a debt to others. You owe your wife, your husband, your children, the Body of Christ, all men, the duty of love.

The Bible says in Romans 13:8, “… for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” In the Old Testament, if you want all of God's blessings to come upon you, you had to fulfill the Laws. But now in the New Testament, we have been given a commandment according to 1 John 3:23, “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” Therefore, we have been commanded by God to believe in the Name of Jesus Christ and to love one another. When you love, you have fulfilled the law. (See Romans 13:8)

Jesus said in John 13:34, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.” That is the only debt you should owe everyone, the debt of love. One of the ways to receive, function and flow with the blessing is walking in love. Therefore, the reason why some Christians may not be seeing the manifested blessing of God in their lives in the way they ought to is because they are breaking the commandment of love. Choose to walk in love.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I make a commitment today, to love others just as You have loved me. I thank you because Your grace is sufficient for me and your strength is perfected in me to love even as I ought to, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Where is your trust?

Saturday,  December  24th.
Where is your trust?

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.”
Psalm 20:7-8

If your trust is not in God to provide, you will experience lack. So the reason many are lacking is because they are not trusting in God to provide anymore. All their trust and confidence is now in their salary to provide for them. Therefore, the salary that is supposed to just be a channel has become their source; such that all their heart is so dependent on their salary and no longer in God who gave them the job in the first place. Some even find it difficult to tithe when they receive their salary because they no longer trust God to provide, forgetting that their salary was not meant to meet all their needs.

The Bible says in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” So my needs are not met according to my salary, they are met according to God's riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, I have all my needs met.

Those who trust in their salary to meet all their needs have now become stranded and in debt because their 'god salary' has not been paid. If all your trust and confidence is in your salary, you are serving mammon and not God. Therefore, for you to enjoy provision irrespective of circumstances you must make God your only source and  resource.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I submit my heart to you to trust you above all else. I take you as my source and only resource for the supply of all my needs. Therefore, I have all my needs met in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Instruction and provision.

Friday, December  23rd.
Instruction and provision.

“Look at the birds. They don't plant, harvest, or gather the harvest into barns. Yet, your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they?”
Matthew 6:26 (GW)

According to our opening scripture, if God feeds the birds that do not have as much value as you, how much more will He feed you? You ought not to struggle to eat. So if you are struggling to eat something is amiss.

God means what He says, and these are the very words of the Lord Jesus. He said the birds do not plant or harvest. That means their provision was not because they planted or saved. Their provision was because of the Father's care. If you are struggling for provision as a Christian you need to renew your mind to this truth. Provision is your right as a child of God. This is why Jesus said in Matthew 6:11 that when we pray we should say “Give us this day our daily bread.” You demand for your provision, you do not beg for it because it is your right as a child of God.

Also, another reason why some Christians are also lacking provision is because they have not learnt that divine provision is controlled by instruction. Supernatural success is not by human effort it is by following divine instructions. There is provision from God for you every day but you will have to learn to follow instructions daily to always access your provision.

There are times the Lord may instruct you to sow a particular seed; sow it. He may show you a need and give you an idea and an instruction to start a particular business; start it. Whatever instruction He gives you, obey it because your provision is controlled by instruction. Willful disobedience will cut you off from divine supply. Therefore, follow instructions because your provision and the fulfillment of your destiny depend on it.

Prayer.
Dear Father, teach me to number my days so that I may apply my heart unto wisdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Remain blessed.

Thursday, December  22nd.
Remain blessed.

“…The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.”
Ruth 2:4

The blessing is God's remedy in times of economic crisis. Therefore, in these times of economic crisis all around the world, you must learn how to receive, function and flow with the blessing.

To bless is to empower by speaking. This was why God stipulated the words that should be used to bless His people as seen in Numbers 6:22-27, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.”
Whenever we are declaring this blessing over God's people, God is putting His name upon them so He can bless them. This is why we do not end our services until we have declared this blessing over the people.

You also can practice doing this every day. When you wake up every morning, do not just walk into your day without first speaking words of blessing over your day, your family, your business, your goals and plans for the day, etc. Take charge of your day by speaking the Word of God to it and you will always have a prosperous day. May God bless you and prosper your day today.

Confession.
I declare today, that I am blessed and protected of the Lord. The mercy and grace of God is heavy upon my life today. The Lord is good to me today and gives me peace roundabout in Jesus' Name.

Access the blessing.

Wednesday, December  21st.
Access the blessing.

“And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.”
Galatians 3:8-9

Before the gospel of Christ was preached, it was only the Jews that had access to the blessing. They had access to the blessing because of their link with Abraham and because they had the Law of Moses. On that basis they could access the blessing.

The Gentiles (referring to all non-Jews) at that time did not have access to the blessing. The Bible referring to the Gentiles outside of Christ says in Ephesians 2:12, “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world” The Gentiles were under a curse outside of Christ.

When the gospel of Christ came, it gave all men both Jews and Gentiles equal opportunity to access the blessing by faith. Under the Law, the Gentiles did not have equal opportunity with the Jews, but through the justification of the faith of Christ every man has equal opportunity and access to God and the blessing. The Bible says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14. Now we all have access to the blessing and the blessing is now on us because of our faith in Jesus Christ. Praise God.

Confession.
I declare by my faith that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me by His death on the cross. Now the blessing of Abraham is upon me and I have received the promise of the Spirit and access to all the benefits of salvation. Therefore I am justified, am righteous and I have peace with God, in Jesus' Name.

Speak with boldness.

Tuesday, December 20th.
Speak with boldness.

“Therefore, since we have such a hope, we speak with great boldness …”                                                2 Corinthians 3:12 (ISV)

Today I want to emphasize the importance of using your mouth in activating the blessing. We have learnt that the realm of faith is the realm of the blessing. Therefore, you must also understand that in the realm of faith, we create with words. The spirit of faith speaks. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:13, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”

Now declare Psalm 91 aloud over you and your home. “I dwell in the secret place of the most High I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me. Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon Him, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will He satisfy me, and show me His salvation.” Amen.

The fear of God.

Monday, December 19th.
The fear of God.

“The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.”
Proverbs 19:23

Walking in the fear of the Lord will not only prolong your days, you shall abide satisfied; in other words, you shall have need of nothing and you shall not be visited with evil. One of the ways you know you are walking in the fear of God is seen in your attitude and response to the Word of God. Do you hold the Word of God in high regard? Do you have reverence for the Word of God?

A man who is walking in the fear of God knows that whatever God says is the last Word. Is God's Word the last Word in your life or you have a better idea? Do you acknowledge Him by giving Him all that is due Him with reverential fear and worship? Does He have access to determine how you use your time? Does He have access to determine how you use and apportion your money and resources? Does He have control over your will to determine what you do with your life? Are you walking in His ways?
Walking in the fear of God is more than attending church services and singing worship songs. The genuine fear of God includes consciously choosing to honour God with all your heart, mind, will, emotions, strength and all that you have. When you live your life with such consecration the blessing of the Lord will be upon you and overtake you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I dedicate myself to you and I choose to honour you with all my heart, mind, will, emotions, strength and all that you have blessed me with for Your glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Stand your ground.

Sunday, December 18th.
Stand your ground.

“Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:9

The realm of faith is the realm of the blessing. Therefore as a blessed man or woman, what should be your response in difficult times? You must not let your heart be afraid neither should you begin to talk negatively like the rest of the world.

Putting down the guard of your faith is giving satan permission to attack you. Do not be intimidated by challenges which satan throws at you. Satan is not all knowing; he does not know if your hedge is broken or not. Therefore to test the hedge around you, he throws some challenges at you to see if your hedge has been broken. He will know from your response; what you say when challenges arise against you. Do you begin to speak negatively? You will be a prey to satan that way. But when you counter your challenges by speaking the Word of God to them, you are resisting the devil and he will flee from you.

Do not be afraid of challenges or trials. They will come but in the midst of them all you are more than a conqueror. Therefore, when challenges come that is the time to believe and stand in faith. That is the time to confess that the blessing is working in your life. Why? It is because the realm of faith is the realm of blessing and as long as you are functioning in faith, the blessing will be working.

Confession.
Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. Thanks be unto God who has given me the victory through my Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, I stand strong, unmovable and steadfast, abounding in the work of the Lord and undaunted in the face of challenges.

Don't break the hedge.

Saturday, December 17th.
Don't break the hedge.

“The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.”
Job 3:25-26

It is important you know what you have in the blessing and learn how to protect it. Do you know that it is possible to break God's circle of blessing that is around you as a Christian? Interestingly, satan cannot break it. The only person that can break it is you. One of the ways you can break the circle of blessing around you is by speaking negatively with your mouth. Satan can only gain access to attack you only when that circle of blessing or hedge around you is broken.

A lot of good Christians are suffering today because all they know about God is an assumption of who He is. They do not have a personal revelation of God, His love and the blessing. So there are Christians today who do not know what they have because they are not acquainted with God and His Word. As a result of their ignorance, they do not know that they are protected. They do not know that they are surrounded by God's circle of blessing. They do not know that negative talking will destroy the circle of blessing around them.

Stop speaking your fears and expecting evil to happen, that is negative faith. Instead, speak your faith. Stay your mind on the Word of God and do what the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7-9 (AMP), “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith …”

Instruction.
Do not complain and do not fret, instead cast all your care, anxieties, worries and concerns once and for all upon the Lord.

Circle of blessing.

Friday, December 16th.
Circle of blessing.

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings …” Proverbs 28:20a

Proverbs 20:6 says, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” Are you a faithful man? Our opening scripture shows us that a faithful man shall abound with blessings. It's a law.

This was the character that was found in the life of Job such that God had to boast concerning his faithfulness in Job 1:8, “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” The answer of satan points out to us that there are benefits for serving God faithfully. Satan answered and said, “… Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” Job 1:9-10. Job was abounding in blessings because he was a faithful man.

Walking in faithfulness to God and His Word will cause the blessing to rest in your house and on all that concerns you. Just like Job you will always abound with blessings. You will live within God's circle of blessing. By the circle of blessing I am referring to the hedge (fence) that God will make around you, your house, your business and all your possessions on every side. So as you learn to walk in the fear of God and faithfulness, there will be a force field around you, those associated with you and all that concerns you, including the smallest thing that you have.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because your blessing surrounds me, my house, business and all that I have on every side like a shield, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

No limits.

Thursday, December  15th.
No limits.

“Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.”
Genesis 18:11

The blessing does not recognize any limitation. Even though Sarah was old and in menopause, that was when God spoke to her that she was going to have a child in one year. The Bible says in Genesis 18:14(GNB), “Is anything too hard for the LORD? As I said, nine months from now I will return, and Sarah will have a son.” According to the Word of the Lord, a woman that has passed menopause was able to conceive and gave birth to a son.

If Sarah could conceive and have a child when it was naturally impossible and difficult, I do not know what may look impossible and difficult for you to achieve or to get even at this time of the year; the last month of the year and just a few days to the end of the year, every barrier and limitation is broken by the blessing, in Jesus' Name. That miracle you have been waiting for will happen in this season, in the Name of Jesus. For those of you reading this today expecting to conceive, I declare by faith in the blessing of the Lord and the Word of the Lord that has gone forth, that in nine months, just like Sarah, you too will carry your own baby in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The blessing upon you.

Wednesday, December  14th.
The blessing upon you.

“These are all the blessings that will come to you and stay close to you because you obey the LORD your God”
Deuteronomy 28:2(GW)

The blessing breaks barriers. The blessing is a limit breaker. The blessing is your own personal atmosphere. It is not decided by the general cloud. Blessed people carry their own atmosphere.

For instance, when the children of Israel walked in the wilderness, the Bible shows us that they carried their own atmosphere or cloud with them. “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.” Exodus 13:21-22.

Why did God put a pillar of cloud above them by day? God did that to protect them from the heat of the scorching sun of the desert by day. The desert is usually very hot by day but because of the blessing, God's people did not feel the heat because they were under God's air conditioned atmosphere in the desert. At night when it is extremely cold God shielded them with a pillar of fire to give them warmth. The blessing will shield you from the adverse effect of natural laws that others suffer.

The circumstances of life should not determine how you should feel or act. It should not also determine what you should have or what you can do because the blessing is on your life. From today be conscious that you are living under a blessed atmosphere that is not decided by what is happening in the country. You are blessed that is what counts.

Confession.
I declare that the blessing of the Lord is upon me. The Lord's hand shall help me. The Lord has blessed me with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of children, and in all things, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Above natural laws.

Tuesday, December  13th.
Above natural laws.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Luke 1:37

The blessing upon your life is not dependent on natural laws. The blessing defies natural laws. That was why Isaac could plant seed in a land devastated and dry by famine and he reaped a hundred times as much as he had planted. He reaped a harvest without watering the seed he planted because there was no water for irrigation since there was no rain because of the famine. The blessing defied natural laws right there because there was no rain and there was no water and yet his seed produced a hundred times more totally because of the blessing.

This is what God is saying to you, “You are not governed by the laws of this life.” The blessing is the supernatural empowerment for success, prosperity, progress, etc. The blessing is supernatural. Do not think like the natural man whose life is governed by natural laws, your life is different; you are not governed by natural laws. In the realm of the blessing where you live as a child of God, the impossible is natural there.

From today henceforth, think possibilities and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Nothing is too hard for you because the blessing is on you. This is the life that you have been called to live. Spend time meditating on this truth and then release the blessing into every area of your life by confessing the Word of God into every area of your life to activate the supernatural effects of the blessing in all that pertains to you.

Confession.
By my faith in the blessing, I declare that nothing shall be too difficult or impossible for me, in Jesus' Name.

Supernatural supply.

Monday, December  12th.
Supernatural supply.

“And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.”
Genesis 24:35

Do you know that as a blessed man or woman you are not supposed to lack provision because of the blessing that is upon your life? This is because every provision you will ever need for your wellbeing and the fulfillment of God's plan and purpose for your life has already been provided in the blessing that is upon your life.

The reason Hagar and her son Ishmael did not die of starvation when Abraham sent them away into the wilderness was because the Lord's blessing was on the lad. God said to Abraham in Genesis 17:20, “And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.” Therefore because of that blessing upon Ishmael, he could not die prematurely. If the blessing worked for Ishmael, what about you?

Therefore, it becomes clear to us that when God's blessing is upon a man, he cannot die of starvation. This is why you must be conscious of the blessing and learn to receive, function and flow with the blessing because as you do, whatever provision you need or require will come to you, even if it means an angel bringing it to you. You must know that when you are blessed, you are connected to supernatural supply.

Confession.
My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

No disadvantage.

Sunday, December 11th.
No disadvantage.

“There was a famine in the land, as bad as the famine during the time of Abraham. And Isaac went down to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar. GOD appeared to him and said, "Don't go down to Egypt; stay where I tell you. Stay here in this land and I'll be with you and bless you.”
Genesis 26:1-3 (MSG)

Today, I want you to be conscious of what the blessing can do in your life as a child of God. It does not matter where you work, where you live, or how unpleasant the economic situation is in the country where you are, as long as that is where God wants you to be, the blessing will cause you to thrive and prosper inspite of the physical conditions.

This is your heritage as a child of God because just as Isaac was so are you. (See Galatians 4:28) God instructed Isaac to stay in a land where there was famine when he was planning to relocate, and as he obeyed and stayed in that land, God blessed him and he prospered. The Bible says, “Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings. And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished; He owned flocks, herds, and a great supply of servants, and the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:12-14(AMP).

The blessing thrives in difficult places. That is why for you as a child of God, there is no difficult place; because if the place is difficult the blessing will cause you to shine more. That is when it becomes obvious that you are really blessed. Therefore, if where you are right now looks unfavourable and difficult, it will be your place of favour because the blessing is on you.

Prayer.

Seed of equal benefit.

Saturday,  December 10th.
Seed of equal benefit.

“And the Lord made up to Job for all his losses, after he had made prayer for his friends: and all Job had before was increased by the Lord twice as much.” Job 42:10(BBE)

When the blessing is on your life it becomes impossible for you to be disadvantaged no matter the circumstance. The blessing will cause all things to work together for your good inspite of unfavorable circumstances.

Kenneth Copeland told a story of how his camera was stolen from him in an airport. He had hung the camera around his neck, so as he bent down to carry his luggage, before he lifted up his head his camera was gone; snatched away by a fast guy.

Finally, as he boarded the plane on his way to Hawaii he was very angry because of the loss of his camera. Then God spoke to him correcting his attitude; letting him know that being angry was not the right attitude to the young man who had stolen his camera. Trying to justify his attitude, he replied the Lord saying, “But he stole my camera.” The Lord replied him and told him to consider the camera that was stolen as 'a seed of equal benefit' instead of been angry and bitter. Considering the camera as 'a seed of equal benefit' means considering whatever has been taken away from you unjustly as a seed into that person's life. As he decided to obey God and considered the camera as a seed of equal benefit, God told him to name his harvest and he called the name of one of the best camera's then in America which was very expensive. On getting to Hawaii, he got the best camera he named as his harvest for just fifty dollars. That was far below the market value of that camera. What made that possible? He learnt to receive, function and flow with the blessing. I want you to know that you cannot lose when you are blessed. The blessing will always give you an advantage.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I choose to consider as a seed of equal benefit whatever has been taken away from me unjustly. I choose to let go of all bitterness and pain, knowing that you are able to make it up to me for every loss and you are able to give me double for every shame, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The blessing and the anointing.

Friday, December 9th.
The blessing and the anointing.

“And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him. And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him …”
Judges 13:24-25a

Do you know that there is a connection between the blessing and the anointing on your life? The Bible shows us in our opening scripture that it was after the Lord blessed Samson the Spirit of the Lord began to move him. So if you do not learn to function in the blessing, you will lose the anointing.

Notice that the blessing made it possible for us to receive the promise of the Spirit.

Isaiah 32:15 says, “Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.”

This shows us that when the Holy Spirit is upon your life it will produce the same effect with the blessing because when the Holy Spirit is upon you it is proof that the blessing is upon your life as well. Just as the blessing produces fruitfulness, when the Holy Spirit is upon you, He will also produce fruitfulness. Therefore, functioning with the Holy Spirit and the anointing will be easier for you if you will learn how to receive, function and flow with the blessing.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for blessing me with your Spirit, thereby empowering me for a life of productivity and fruitfulness all my days, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

You are blessed 2

Thursday,  December  8th.
You are blessed 2.

“…knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.”
1 Peter 3:9b

The first step into the blessing is being born again. So the day you got born again, you were blessed. Yet there are some born again Christians who are still suffering under generational curses. How can a generational curse be on the life of a believer? That is only possible either because of ignorance or such a believer is living in sin.

The day you confessed the Lordship of Jesus over your life, every generational curse was broken. Therefore if you are born again, it is important you renew your mind to the truth that you are blessed of God. So you should always expect fruitfulness, multiplying, replenishing, accomplishing, fulfillment, subduing and dominion.

With this understanding of how empowered a Christian is because of the blessing on his life, how could he still be oppressed by devils? Something must surely be amiss for that to happen. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee …” This shows us that the strength of the oppressor is the ignorance of the oppressed. Therefore one major reason why Christians are oppressed is because of ignorance or the lack of knowledge.

God has said, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalm 82:5-6. Walk with this understanding of your true identity in Christ by reason of the blessing.

Prayer.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me; for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree; that the blessing of Abraham may come upon me; that I may receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Therefore I declare by my faith that I am blessed and highly favoured. Amen.

You are blessed 1.

Wednesday,  December  7th.
You are blessed 1.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Ephesians 1:3

The blessing is the empowerment to be, do or have all that God has ordained for you to be, do or have. Therefore, without the blessing you cannot fulfill your destiny. We know this is true because when God made man in His image and likeness, he made him to have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  This shows us that Adam was born to reign, but for him to reign he had to first receive the blessing.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28.

The blessing is what empowers you to walk in dominion. That is why for man to be able to walk in dominion; God had to put the blessing on him first. So the blessing is the key. Even when God wanted to start afresh again with Noah and his sons, God blessed them first. The Bible says in Genesis 9:1, “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” God blessed them first because the blessing is what empowers us and fully equips us with all that we require to fulfill our destiny.

Therefore as a Christian it is important for you to understand what it means to be blessed because you have been blessed already with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; meaning you have been fully empowered and equipped with all you require to fulfill your destiny. Praise God.

To be more blessed ...

Tuesday, December  6th.
To be more blessed ...

“… and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Acts 20:35

The scriptures stipulate for us the required order for a life of prosperity and increase. Our opening scripture reveals to us from the words of Jesus that, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” So if you want to live a life of prosperity and increase Jesus is showing you the order.

Whenever we have God's order there will be a blessing because the blessing follows order. Therefore to the measure we comply with God's order, to that measure we will see the blessing of God manifested. So if you want to see manifestations of God in your life, stick to His order.
For instance, there are certain people who want to come out of poverty who do not give. They are not following God's order because Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” This means that following God's order by giving will make you more blessed; showing us that the blessing is in levels. More blessings come to the giver. So if you want to see more of God's blessings in your life then giving is not an option it is an obligation because it is the required order.

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”  2 Corinthians 9:6-8.

The blessing.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:28

Our opening scripture shows us that the blessing is released through words. When God blessed man, He spoke words over his life. God said to me in 2006, “The blessing is the empowerment to be, do or have what God has ordained for you to be, do or have.”

After God created man, He blessed him. Why? The blessing is what sustains and perpetuates what God has started. When God starts something in your life, if you want it to continue, you must learn to receive, function and flow in the blessing. This is important because learning how to receive, function and flow in the blessing is the key to seeing all your goals and dreams fulfilled.

The blessing activates fruitfulness. Fruitfulness refers to reproductive ability, perpetuating what you start, etc. For instance, there are people who start a business and the business remains the same way and dies; it is because the blessing is not working in their business so they could not be fruitful. When you learn to receive, function and flow in the blessing, you will not only be fruitful in your business, you will be fruitful in your body and in every other area of your life.

What are you creating?

Sunday, December   4th.
What are you creating?

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21

You are creating what you are saying. When you understand this truth, you will no longer talk carelessly anymore. God declares in Isaiah 57:19a, “I create the fruit of the lips; …” So whenever you are talking, you are participating in creation. Pause and calmly think about the words you have been speaking lately. I hope you have been creating good things for the future.

Everything you see in creation is a product of words; they were first created by God's words before they were manifested. A lot of people do not take speaking the right words seriously because they do not know that it is at the point of speaking things are actually created. Things are created first in the realm of the spirit before they are manifested in the natural realm.

Everything God said is what He saw, and everything God made is sustained by His Word. The Bible lets us know in Hebrews 1:3 that all things are sustained and upheld by the Word of His power. The same principle applies to us today because we have been made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, everything we say is what we will see and experience in our lives and what is sustained and upheld in our lives is what we say. So what is growing in your life today is what you said or words which have been spoken over your life. I encourage you to speak the right words always.

Prayer.
Dear Father, in the authority of the name of Jesus, I cancel every curse, inoperative and non working word that has been spoken over my life. I declare that I live a blessed life and I am empowered to be, do and have all that you have ordained for me to be, do and have, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Faith-filled words.

Saturday, December   3rd.
Faith-filled words.

“A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: …” Proverbs 13:2a

A good and fulfilling life is the product of speaking right words. So if you want to live a blessed and prosperous life, you must learn to use your mouth well. A lot of times what is working against you are the words you have spoken.

Everything God created responds to faith-filled words. For instance, Jesus said you can speak to the mountain (Matthew 17:20). God created the mountain so it responds to faith-filled words. This shows you that the realm of faith is the realm of God's creative ability.

God created everything by faith-filled words. Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Therefore when you speak with faith, those words have creative ability; that means they are self fulfilling.

Most of the successful men in the world are very positive people including Christians and unbelievers. They trained themselves to be positive. You also have to use the Word of God to renew your mind to that point where you always speak faith-filled words concerning your life, family, children, etc. This is important because if you want to have it good, you must learn to talk right.

Prayer.

The word of blessing.

Friday, December   2nd.
The word of blessing.

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word …”
Luke 1:38

What do you do when the blessing is declared over your life? Your response should be the same with that of Mary in our opening scripture when angel Gabriel was sent to give her the Word that caused her to conceive.

Why is your response in verbalizing the Word important? It is because God does nothing on earth until a man says it. Just as for the Word to become flesh, the Word had to be believed, and the person who believed had to verbalize her faith saying, “Be it unto me according to thy word.” That was what made it possible for her to conceive. Therefore, if God's Word is going to come to pass in your life, you must believe it and speak it.

The most important decision of your life is the decision for your salvation. How does a man access salvation? The principle is the same; the gospel is declared to him, then he must believe and speak it. The Bible says, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:8-10. You activate salvation by words. Matthew 12:37 says, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” If you are going to function well in the kingdom of God, you must learn the importance and the power of words.

To bless.

Thursday, December 1st.
To bless.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:28

In Hebrew, the word bless or blessing means 'to speak well of' or 'to pronounce upon'. Do you know that there are words that God has spoken over your life? God has spoken well of you; these words refer to the blessings that He has pronounced over your life in His Word because every child of God has been called to inherit a blessing according to 1 Peter 3:9.

Therefore, how are you going to see those words of blessing that God has spoken over your life already come to pass or manifested? Those blessings will only come to pass in your life when you speak them forth just as God has spoken concerning you. It is important you understand this principle because God works with His Word.

God's works are always linked with His Word. Jesus said in John 14:10, “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” The Message Bible puts it this way, “Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you aren't mere words. I don't just make them up on my own. The Father who resides in me crafts each word into a divine act.” God does nothing until He says it. So until you start speaking what God has said concerning you, it will not be manifested. Therefore, as you proclaim the Word of blessing, God confirms it in your life.

Confession.
I declare in the Name of Jesus, that I am what God says I am, I have what God says I have and I can do what God says I can do. I am strong; the Word of God abides in me. I have overcome the wicked one. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
