The law of expectation.
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1
Hearing from God consistently will require that you understand how to function with the law of expectation. The law of expectation states that, “God the Father will speak to you if you expect Him to.” Expect to hear from God because if you are a Christian you have the capacity to hear God's voice.
“But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” John 10:2-5. Knowing the Word of God helps you to know clearly God's voice because God always speaks in line with His Word.
Whenever you get into the place of prayer, expect to hear from God. Whenever you are reading the Bible, listening to the Word of God or meditating on scripture expect to hear from God. God is always speaking, but if you will pay attention you will always hear Him.
“If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”
Mark 4:23-24(AMP).
Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because my ears are anointed and open to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
