The law of focus.

Monday, March 20th.
The law of focus.

“If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.”
Mark 4:23-24

Focus is directed attention. Therefore, focus is one of the laws you need to pay attention to if you want to hear from God consistently. To focus is to direct your attention or effort at something specific. To focus also means to concentrate your attention on something.

The Bible says in our opening scripture, “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” So if you are not hearing it means that you are not listening. Two people can be listening to a message together, but the measure of focus each one gives to what is being said determines what they will hear. The reason why someone will say something and then someone else says that he or she did not hear what was said is as a result of broken focus in concentrating on what was being said.

Pay attention to what God has said and what He is saying to you because as you do, more will be given to you, in other words, you will be able to hear Him more consistently. Mark 4:24(AMP) says, “And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You expose every seed of falsehood that have entered into my belief system and every distraction in any form opposed to my destiny, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
