“In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.”
Daniel 9:2

Successful people covet the wisdom, counsel and expertise of those who have gone ahead of them. That was how Jesse Duplantis became rich. He was not yet a teenager when he booked for an appointment with the wealthiest man in their city at that time. He proposed to see the man and to speak with him in the most expensive diner. The man agreed and came, he bought expensive food for him and this wealthy man taught him how to make money. Later, before the man died, Jesse Duplantis had the opportunity to see him, so he asked him if he still remembered him, the man said, no. Then he recounted to him how he taught him many years ago on how to make money. Today Jesse Duplantis is richer than that man.

If you are a young person reading this today, do not waste all your time on social media chatting or playing games with your phone.

Prioritize your time rightly. There should be time for you to expose yourself to reading books and other materials of successful people that will challenge you and teach you principles that will make you a success as well. Invest your time today in the right knowledge and life will reward you with success.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I believe I receive wisdom on how to prioritize my time effectively in this season in diligent study for greater achievements and results in the kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

“And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”
Luke 2:46

A very important tip that could help facilitate your success in life is to choose a mentor or mentors. Our opening scripture shows us that even Jesus who is said to be the greatest leader that ever lived was not proud. We see that he was also a learner, He sat in the midst of the doctors hearing them and asking them questions. Who are you following?

In Matthew 4:19 Jesus said to Simon Peter and Andrew his brother, “… Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Paul said to his sons in the gospel in 1 Corinthians 4:14-15, “For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.”

Job 8:7-10 (BBE) says, “And though your start was small, your end will be very great. Put the question now to the past generations, and give attention to what has been searched out by their fathers: For we are but of yesterday, and have no knowledge, because our days on earth are gone like a shade: Will they not give you teaching, and say words of wisdom to you?”

Do not be too proud to apply yourself to the wisdom of those who have gone ahead of you. It will amplify your speed in life. Job 8:9-10 (MSG) says, “For we're newcomers at this, with a lot to learn, and not too long to learn it. So why not let the ancients teach you, tell you what's what, instruct you in what they knew from experience?”

Prayer.

Dear Father, teach me to number my days that I might apply my heart unto wisdom. Teach me to always discern truth and the good and the right way for a life of distinction and excellence, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Go for knowledge

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
Luke 2:52

To be successful and fulfilled in every area of your life, you must constantly invest in your own personal development and the development of your team.

According to our opening scripture, if Jesus had to increase in wisdom, we also have increase in wisdom as well. This is because the measure of wisdom you possess will determine the measure of favour you experience.

In Mark 3:13-15 we see that Jesus not only invested in Himself but He also invested in His team. He invested in twelve men and those men changed the world. The Bible says, “And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,  And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:”

Do you have a plan for your personal development? Do you have a system for the training and retraining of your staff and team members? Read books and expose yourself to teachings that will challenge you and enhance your understanding and effectiveness in your field or profession.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You because You are causing the right materials to come towards me for my mental and spiritual development for greater effectiveness in that which You have called me to do, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Pareto principle 2

“Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” Acts 6:2-3

To be successful you must identify your priorities and discern your distractions. When you focus on your priorities you increase your fulfillment. What are your priorities? Your priorities are those things you do that move you faster towards fulfillment of your goals. What are your distractions? Your distractions are those things that minimize your effectiveness.

What are those things that when you do them they seem to make you energetic and fulfilled those are your priorities. Focus on them. Also as you focus on your priorities, delegate other responsibilities to others.

Who should you delegate to? If you are a business person or in the ministry there are certain qualities you must look out for when building your team. The Lord spoke to me saying, “Don't delegate to people who are disorganized. Don't delegate to people who have financial problems.”

This is because one of the tests for success is your ability to manage money effectively. If you can fix the money problem you can fix anything. Don't delegate to someone who borrows a lot because credibility is at stake. When you delegate; at best look out for men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You expose every fraudulent relationship sabotaging your vision for my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Pareto principle 1

Wednesday,  April  26th

The Pareto principle 1

“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.”
Colossians 4:17

Do you know that in your life 80 percent of your results come from 20 percent of what you do? 80 percent of your income comes from 20 percent of what you do.

Therefore in your life you must find out the 20 percent that you need to do that will produce 80 percent of your results. This understanding will help you to invest 80 percent of your effort in the 20 percent which are your priorities, while you delegate the other 80 percent responsibilities for others to take care of.

The leader of an organization is the head of that organization. Therefore for him to be effective; he must be able to focus fully on what the head does. What does the head do? The head thinks, sees, speaks and hears. That is what the leader should focus on. He should delegate the works of the hands and the feet.
The principle is this; if the head is healthy it will be well with all the other parts and they will be effective too.

I challenge you to prioritize the 20 percent things that will produce 80 percent of your results. Focus more on doing these things daily and you will be more effective.

Confession.

Dear Father, I thank You because You are at work in me both to will and to do of Your good pleasure, in Jesus' Name.

Delegate your distraction

Tuesday, April  25th

Delegate your distraction

“And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
Acts 6:1-4

Co-opting the skills of those who will compensate for your weaknesses is one of the tips to achieving business or ministry success.

One of the things I learnt many years ago on business was 'to staff your weakness'. This is because there are certain things you cannot do by yourself because you have to focus on certain priorities.

To a great extent wisdom is the ability to determine your priorities, and success on the other hand is the reward for sticking to your priorities.

Successful people are people who stick to their priorities.

A minister was preaching one time and said, “I don't know where the oil of my car is.” He was speaking about certain things that he does not concern himself about to give him more time to focus on the major priorities of the vision he has from God. As a result he pastors one of the biggest churches in the world.

Delegate your distraction just like the Apostles did in our opening scripture. Anything taking you away from your priority is a distraction, delegate it.

Communicate the vision

Monday, April  24th

Communicate the vision

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.”
Acts 16:9-10

Another beautiful tip in the fulfillment of your vision in life or in business is to be able to communicate it effectively.

Using our church; Charismatic Renaissance International Church as a prototype of this point, there is hardly anyone who is a member of the church that does not know that we have been called to raise a people who are like Jesus, or that we are called to reach the world with the love of God, the Word of God and the healing power of God. Why? It is because we are always communicating our vision to them. Therefore most of our members have an international mindset.

Have you communicated your vision effectively to your staff or the members of your church?

Remember that the inspiration of the leader will be the motivation of his followers. So when your vision is effectively communicated, the people will be naturally motivated to pursue it.

Instruction.

Pray for your members or your staff in line with Philippians 2:2; that they all will be like-minded, having one love and one mind.

Decide your outcomes

Sunday, April  23rd

Decide your outcomes

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”
Genesis 11:1-6

Visionaries rule the world. Also, when a vision is clear it becomes inevitable even God confirms that in our opening scripture.

For instance, we are on television and radio everyday on several stations and I have never come on any of those platforms to beg for money. Why? It is because provision follows vision.

Before we got on television we had a vision for it. It states thus; “To change the world by changing the way people think.” We also have a list of objectives why we are on TV. We also have a mission statement on why we are on TV. When you find anyone that has something like that no matter how small they are at the beginning, mark them because the future belongs to them.

If you do not decide what you want out of life, you will settle for what you get. When you decide what you want out of life and settle your heart for it, it becomes inevitable.

Prayer.

Write your vision

Saturday, April  22nd

Write your vision

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

When God gives you a vision there will always be a process to the actualization of that vision. Whether it's a vision for your life, ministry or business. There will be a process to its fulfillment. In other words your vision will not come to pass over night.

Therefore, when you are writing out your vision, open your mind to divine possibilities. Do not doubt or be afraid to write down what God shows you knowing that the vision is for an appointed time.

In writing down your vision statement, you must know that a vision is a strategic statement. This means that when you are writing out your vision it should not only contain what you want to do or achieve it should also contain how you intend to carry out that vision.

A vision and a dream are not the same. A vision is more than a dream.

A dream is a picture of the future but a vision is a strategic statement. This means that a vision is not only descriptive of the future but it also includes your how; in other words, your plans and other deliberate actions that will lead to the actualization of your vision.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you give to me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

What is your vision?

Friday, April    21st

What is your vision?

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Habakkuk 2:1-2

To succeed in any business it is important that you create a clear and concise vision statement. In other words you must have a vision before you embark on any business enterprise.

Microsoft had a vision; they wanted to become the software language of the computers of this world. Today, thirty-six years from the time the first version of Microsoft was developed, over 80 percent of the world's computers and an estimated 1.5 billion people use the Windows operating system each day.

Have you written down the vision of your business? Your vision should be able to describe what you want to achieve in your business. It should describe what you want to be, do or have.

For us as a ministry, our vision statement does exactly that; it states thus,“As we preach the full message of this new life, our goal is to raise a people who are like Jesus, by exposing them to the influence of God's Word and His Spirit in an atmosphere of love, so that they may be able to take the love of God, the Word of God and the healing power of God to every individual within their sphere of contact.” You can tell from our vision statement that the people in this ministry will be like Jesus; they will love, they will preach and they will heal.

What about you in business, is your vision clear and concise? Is your vision descriptive of the future you desire? If it does not then you have work to do. Go and spend time with God and let Him give you a picture of the preferred future for your life.

Be diligent

Be diligent

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
Proverbs 22:29

From today I will begin to teach you some important wisdom tips that will make you excel in your business. These tips can be applied in any business and they will produce successful outcomes.

One of the first tips is for you to be diligent. When you do a research on the biggest companies in the world, you will notice that their focus is to meet a need or to solve a problem faster and better than anyone else. This is important because so long as you solve a problem faster and better than anyone else you are definitely going to be ahead of everyone else in that field.

Do whatever you do faster and better than anyone else. If you are into any form of business or service delivery you must consistently research on how you can develop your business to deliver services faster and better.

“Observe people who are good at their work-- skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don't take a back seat to anyone.” Proverbs 22:29 (MSG) Do you want your services to always be in demand and be admired? Do you want to be counted among the first and the best in your field? Then you must be diligent in what you do.

Proverbs 12:24 says, “The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.”

Prayer.

Dear Father, I receive grace for diligence in my field, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Strategic insight

Wednesday, April   19th

Strategic insight

“As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.” Daniel 1:17

One of the things you need to be successful in life is wisdom. That is why as a Christian one of the things you should pray for is wisdom. Wisdom is strategic insight from a divine perspective. Therefore ask wisdom from God for whatever you do. If you are into music, there is wisdom for music. There is wisdom for ministry, accounting, medicine, etc.

When people do not see the connection between divine wisdom from God and the natural realm a lot of people remain poor. For instance, most of the wealth of this world is controlled by Jews because they understand the importance of the spiritual realm in connection with the natural realm. You cannot have success consistently without a spiritual connection. That is why you must ask God for wisdom for whatever you do.

When you have wisdom, you make the right decisions the first time.
Wisdom will teach you the why of a thing. It will show you how it operates. For instance the Lord said concerning Bazaleel in Exodus 31:3, “And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” Wisdom teaches you why. Understanding teaches you how and knowledge teaches you what.

       Instruction.

Ask God to fill you with wisdom, understanding and knowledge for whatever you do.

Word seed

Tuesday, April   18th

Word seed

“You will have to live with the consequences of everything you say. What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words.”
     Proverbs 18:20-21 (GNB)

The words you are speaking are seeds. When you speak words you are actually planting seeds. Therefore the outcomes of your life are the harvest of your words. So if you do not like the outcomes of your life then you must of necessity change your words.

You cannot have the right outcomes without consistency in making the right confessions of the Word of God. For instance, there are people who confess right for three days and then begin to confess negatively afterwards. You cannot have the right outcomes that way. You would surely produce the right outcomes when there is consistent faith in your heart in the confessions of your mouth. As long as you do not doubt and change your confessions because of what you see, hear or feel you shall surely have whatsoever you say. The Word of God is more real than sensory evidence. Maintain your confessions notwithstanding because those seeds that you have
sown will surely come to fruition as you continue to consistently water them with the right words.

Being successful is intentional. The Bible shows us that an unstable man will not receive anything from God. (See James 1:5-7)

Take responsibility

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:7-8

Today I will like to teach you the place of the Word of God in your success and fulfillment in life. A lot of Christians do not know the importance of taking time to read, study, meditate and confess the Word of God daily.

You cannot talk failure and have success or be successful. This is because words have creative power. Every man is the architect of his own fortune by his words.

Zig Ziglar said “A man is no failure until he begins blaming everybody for where he is.” God will not give you the credit for success until you are willing to take responsibility for where you are.

Success begins with a sense of responsibility. Until you take responsibility for where you are, you would not do something about where you are.

Things may never turn out right in your life until you talk right. God made Joshua know in our opening scripture that he was responsible for his success through meditation. To meditate also means to speak, talk or mutter. That means there is a place in meditation where you give voice to the Word. If you are going to have permanent success and fulfillment, you must learn to speak the Word of God over your life, business and all the works of your hands. That is taking responsibility for your success God's way.

The Master teacher

Sunday, April     16th

The Master teacher

“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
Isaiah 48:17

The Holy Spirit can teach you how to do your job with excellence and make profit. No Christian should be a failure.

A man called R. G. LeTourneau. He was a believer and a tither. He knew that when you tithe God will partner with your business and give you ideas. As a result, by inspiration from the Holy Spirit he was able to design a floating barge that you can put a rig on. By so doing, he actually pioneered off shore drilling of crude oil. He was also largely responsible for the invention and development of many types of earth moving machines now widely used. He designed and built machines using technology that was years, sometimes decades, ahead of its time and became recognized worldwide as a leader in the development and manufacture of heavy equipment.

The Holy Spirit is a Master teacher. He can teach you how to excel in any business or workmanship. Therefore learn to recognize the Holy Spirit and fellowship with Him and He will give you the knowledge of witty inventions in your field.

There was a man named Booker T. Washington. He was a black man and at a time he produced more self made millionaires than Harvard, Yale and Princeton universities in America. He was able to produce such feat because he partnered with the Holy Spirit.

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard neither has it entered into the heart of men what the Holy Spirit has prepared to do with you if only you will partner with Him. When you walk with the Holy Spirit your possibilities are endless.

Confession.
I declare that my possibilities are endless even as I yield myself to the Holy Spirit to give to me creative ideas and the knowledge of witty inventions that will fetch me an income for my generations, in Jesus' Name.

Capacity for efficiency

Saturday, April  15th

Capacity for efficiency

“I have filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, making him highly skilled, resourceful, and knowledgeable in all trades.”
Exodus 31:3 (GW)

God never intended for you to live life alone all by yourself in your own strength. He wants to be with you, live and walk with you in the person of the Holy Spirit. Therefore if your life looks meaningless, confused and characterized by failures it is because you have not yet recognized the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has never made any man a failure.

The Holy Spirit took a woman named Kathryn  Kuhlman and gave her such fame worldwide to the point that most of the great and influential men of God at that time sat and listened to her even though she was a woman. Get to recognize the Holy Spirit; He is a barrier breaker.

If you have the Holy Spirit you have received more than just the ability to speak with tongues. When you speak in tongues you are bringing the influence of the Holy Spirit upon you so that you can drink of His ideas and His thoughts which will make you a wonder to your world.

Acts 1:8a (AMP) says, “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you …” When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, He gives you the capacity for efficiency. What fails in you has been removed. Trust and lean on the Holy Spirit and He will help you to minimize your mistakes.

Confession
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have the capacity for efficiency. Nothing shall be impossible unto me. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Amen.

A great secret

Friday, April   14th

A great secret

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.”
John 14:16-17 (AMP)

Today I will like to share with you another important element of success you need to have to enjoy a fulfilling life. This is the fact that you need to receive the Holy Spirit.

Life without the Holy Spirit is like a one legged man trying to run a race with men who have two legs. This is because the Holy Spirit is your Helper. For many people all they think the Holy Spirit came to do was just to help them speak in tongues. He came to do much more than helping you speak with tongues.

In August 2002 the Holy Spirit said to me, “If you will recognize me as a person, I will thrust you ahead of those you have envied.” Are you aware that the Holy Spirit can make you popular? He can talk to people about you.

He can help you publicize your business and your ministry. Luke 4:14 says, “And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.”

Do not live your life without the help of the Holy Spirit. You need him for your success and fulfillment everyday.

Prayer.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Mark 8:36

There is a difference between accomplishment and fulfillment. The reason why many people are not fulfilled in life inspite of their achievements is because they have left out certain important elements of success.

If success is becoming all you were born to be, doing what you were born to do and having all you were born to have, then according to Revelations 4:11 that reveals that God has created all things for His pleasure; it means that if you are not living your life for God's purposes you will not be fulfilled no matter your accomplishments.

If you are going to begin to live for God's purposes you must understand that one of the reasons why God created you is to know Him. Therefore if you do not have a relationship with God or you have not received eternal life you cannot be fulfilled, something is actually missing in you.

In Matthew 19:16-21, when the young rich ruler came to Jesus, inspite of all his accomplishments something was still missing in his life.

He was not following the Master, in other words he had no relationship with Jesus. When this vacuum is not filled in the life of seemingly rich men and women it drives them to all kinds of addictions and vices because the richer and the greater your accomplishments in life without God, the more empty you become.

True fulfillment can only be found in God. Search no further because you can never find fulfillment in expensive cars, houses, shoes or clothes. Get your relationship right with God today. That is the first thing you must do to enjoy a fulfilling life. You can start by praying the prayer below.
Prayer of salvation.
“O God, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He is the Son of God. I believe that He died for my sins. I believe with all my heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the third day for my justification. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I take Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. Jesus, come into my heart, make me a new person. I receive eternal life and the love of God into my spirit even now. Amen.”

Manage your time.

Wednesday, April    12th

Manage your time.

“Take care then how you are living, not as unwise, but as wise; Making good use of the time, because the days are evil.”
Ephesians 5:15-16 (BBE)

Yesterday I taught you that time is your most important resource and if you are not using it objectively, creatively and effectively you are wasting your life because all you have is days. Do not let anyone deceive you that you have so much time at your disposal. Let your life count by making sure that each day counts; by using your time effectively and objectively daily.

A year is only 365 days or 366 days in a leap year. Do not waste any day. Ecclesiastes 8:5 says, “Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.” This means that a wise man knows what to do at the right time for the right reasons.

Have a plan for each day and then allot a specific time to each activity or task that will help you to effectively carry out your plan for that day.

Do not start any day without a written plan of what you intend to achieve that day.

Therefore I challenge you to write out in a book what you want to achieve today and then break them down into smaller goals and tasks and then write down the time you want to carry it out during the day. If for any reason you were not able to carry out any of your goals, do not be discouraged, transfer it to your list for tomorrow. But make sure you discipline your self to fulfilling your goals for the day daily.

Do not waste.

Tuesday, April  11th

Do not waste.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12

If you want to be successful then you must let wisdom guide the way you live your life. What is wisdom? Wisdom is the effective use of limited resources to attain a goal that make a lasting impact.

Therefore as you learn to apply your heart to wisdom, you will understand the importance of one of your most valuable asset in life which is TIME. If you do not learn how to value time you are not walking in wisdom.

A man is no fool unless he does not know how to use his time objectively. So the individual that does not have anything allotted to his time that he is going to achieve in a day or monthly is not walking in wisdom. One mark of a fool is that a fool is a waster. Do you waste your time?

Proverbs 21:20 (AMP) says, “There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and wastes it.” A fool wastes; they waste time, money, opportunities, etc. From today determine not to be a waster.

Prayer.
Dear Father, teach me to number my days that I may apply my heart unto wisdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Find your purpose 2

“Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.”
John 4:34

Today I will like to emphasis the importance of discovering God's plan and purpose for your life and sticking to it. Fulfilling God's plan and purpose for your life is the only guarantee of an eternal reward from God. It is important you know this because when you get to heaven, God is not going to reward you for what you achieved, He will reward you based on the fulfillment of what He sent you to do (your divine assignment; that is your purpose in life).

For instance, if I employed you to be at the gate and then you decided to take the decision to go somewhere else to begin to cut grass which I did not send you to do neglecting your primary assignment for which you were employed which is to secure the gate. If you do that everyday, at the end of the month, you will not be paid any salary because you will be appraised based on what you were employed to do which you neglected and not what you chose by yourself to achieve.

Living within the confines of God's vision for your life is living in God's perfect will for your life, and it is only when you are in God's perfect will for your life, you can claim perfect provision and protection. The safest place on earth is the center of God's will for your life. A lot of people have lost their lives and also their eternal reward because they choose to walk out of God's will for their lives.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I receive grace to remain focused and committed to Your will for my life till I see You face to face, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Find your purpose 1

Sunday, April  9th

Find your purpose 1

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Jeremiah 29:11

The second key you need to adhere to be truly successful is for you to discover God's plan and purpose for your life. The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is in one's destiny to do and then do it. The true measure of success is the fulfillment of your own destiny.

When you follow God's plan for your life, prosperity, protection and longevity is guaranteed. A man was dying of a heart attack and while he was unconscious, he had an encounter with God, he said he told the Lord that there was so much he had not done that He told him to do, so he should not die now, and he said immediately, he found himself back in his body. Why? Your vision preserves your life. That is why so long as you stay within the confines of God's vision for your life, you cannot die prematurely.

For instance, until Jesus was ready to lay down His life according to the set time God had determined,

He could not be killed even when they attempted to kill him according to Luke 4:28-30, “And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,” Why could they not kill him? It was not time and he had not completed all the things He was sent to do in the fulfillment of the scriptures as it was written concerning Him.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for I am filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Put God first

Put God first

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:31-33

Your priority is what determines your prosperity. So if you want to prosper and be truly successful, you must put God first. The proof of loyalty is prioritizing God inspite of difficulty or contrary circumstances.

You are not loyal to God if you give only when it is convenient. When you are loyal, you give even in the midst of challenges. For instance, there are some people who do not tithe whenever things seem difficult especially in the area of their finances. Such persons are not loyal and fully committed to God in their hearts. When you are truly loyal, you do what you are supposed to do inspite of how you feel.

The provisions you enjoy in life is directly proportionate to the devotion you display to God.
Job 36:11 says, “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” Days of prosperity and years of pleasures are the benefits of a life of devotion to God. Therefore if you are suffering right now, it is not God's fault, but if you will reorder your priorities and put God first things will surely go right with you.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I receive grace to always be willing to give myself and my material possessions in my service to You with joy both today and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

True devotion

True devotion

“GOD is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him …”
1 Chronicles 16:9 (MSG)

To be truly successful, there are some keys that you must adhere to. The first is devotion to God. It is impossible to separate the quality of your life and the outcomes of your existence from your relationship with God. It is possible to deceive others that you are spiritual or that you know God, but the result speaks for itself.

What is devotion? A feeling of strong love or loyalty. Is your heart loyal and totally committed to God? If God finds the devotion of your heart that way, you will see that there will be a God dimension to whatever you do.

Devotion can also refer to the use of time, money, energy, etc. for a particular purpose. Therefore it is important you realize that you are not truly loyal to God if He does not have your time, money and resources. Mathew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Prayer, worship or other religious activities that are done in private rather than in a religious service can also be referred to as devotion. Therefore, if you are not create time to study the Word of God or pray outside what you do in church, you are not truly devoted to God.
Dear Father, I commit all that I am and all that I have to Your pleasure. May my life continually bring praise and glory to Your name.  As I offer my life as a living sacrifice to You, let every service I render be acceptable unto You sanctified of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Success dimensions 5

Success dimensions 5

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”
John 10:10 (AMP)

The eighth dimension of success is that success is significance. This means that you are making a difference in your community, city, nation or the world as a whole. There are many ways you can make a difference? There are those who are making a difference by helping to meet the felt needs in society through charitable donations and works in helping the poor, sick, vulnerable and the less privileged.

The ninth dimension of success is that success is eternal. This means that you are fulfilling your destiny. Successful Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” He was successful because he fulfilled his destiny.

Therefore just as there are nine fruits of the spirit and nine gifts of the spirit, there are also nine dimensions of success. So if you want to find out if you are successful, examine your life based on these nine dimensions of success.

The truly successful life that God wants for you is one of spiritual, physical, financial and social blessing. It is a life that includes salvation, joy, peace of mind, good relationships, health, financial ease, freedom, and much more.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for by Your grace, I am empowered to live a life of prosperity and health. I thank You because Your blessing is upon me indeed, my coast is enlarged, Your hand is upon me, I am exempted from all evil and sorrow, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Success dimensions 4.

Wednesday, April  5th.
Success dimensions 4.

“And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.”
Genesis 13:2

In the past three days, we have examined five dimensions of success. Today I would be teaching you the sixth dimension of success that reveals to us that success is financial. This means you should have enough money to meet your needs and to help others.

The seventh dimension of success is that success is career. This means that you should be making progress in your career and be effective in your God given assignment. If you are not effective in your assignment, you cannot claim to be successful. When you know this you will take responsibility for where you are and you will be willing to apply yourself to all that it takes to grow beyond where you are right now.

The Bible tells us concerning successful Joseph in Genesis 39:2-4(AMP), “But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to flourish and succeed in his hand. So Joseph pleased [Potiphar] and found favor in his sight, and he served him. And [his master] made him supervisor over his house and he put all that he had in his charge.” You can measure success by progress in your career.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You because the blessing of multiplication is upon all that I have and upon the works of my hands, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Success dimensions 3

Success dimensions 3.

“My loved one, it is my prayer that you may do well in all things, and be healthy in body, even as your soul does well.”
3 John 1:2(BBE)

In learning about the dimensions of success, it is important you know that success is health. How can you claim to be successful and your body is not healthy? God wants you to be healthy in body; therefore health is also a measure of success. Jesus Christ is the measure of all round success and He was healthy in body. The Bible says concerning Him in Luke 1:80(MSG), “The child grew up, healthy and spirited …”

Another dimension of success is that success is social. This refers to your relationships. Your success can be measured by the quality of your relationships. Do you have a healthy family? This means that no matter how much money you make, you are not yet truly successful if your family is in disarray. Success is having a healthy family.

God had this to say concerning successful Abraham in Genesis 18:18-19, “Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Abraham was a success because he raised his family and his children after him. That was why he had a successor in Isaac and the blessing was perpetuated to the next generation. Therefore, I encourage you to make having a healthy family one of your priorities so that God's blessing in your life can be perpetuated to the next generations.
