Take responsibility
“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:7-8
Today I will like to teach you the place of the Word of God in your success and fulfillment in life. A lot of Christians do not know the importance of taking time to read, study, meditate and confess the Word of God daily.
You cannot talk failure and have success or be successful. This is because words have creative power. Every man is the architect of his own fortune by his words.
Zig Ziglar said “A man is no failure until he begins blaming everybody for where he is.” God will not give you the credit for success until you are willing to take responsibility for where you are.
Success begins with a sense of responsibility. Until you take responsibility for where you are, you would not do something about where you are.
Things may never turn out right in your life until you talk right. God made Joshua know in our opening scripture that he was responsible for his success through meditation. To meditate also means to speak, talk or mutter. That means there is a place in meditation where you give voice to the Word. If you are going to have permanent success and fulfillment, you must learn to speak the Word of God over your life, business and all the works of your hands. That is taking responsibility for your success God's way.
Instruction.
Declare the blessing in Deuteronomy 28:3-13 over you and your household.
