Get A Mentor

“Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.”
Proverbs 11:14 (MSG)

One of the roadblocks to progress is lack of mentors. Do you have a mentor over your life? This is important because you need counsel in your life. According to our opening scripture, “the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.”

Uzziah became a successful king as long as he followed the counsel of his mentor Zechariah the Priest. This is why the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 26:3 (NLT), “Uzziah sought God during the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. And as long as the king sought guidance from the Lord, God gave him success.”

Proverbs 15:22 (MSG) says, “Refuse good advice and watch your plans fail; take good counsel and watch them succeed.” This is one of the reasons I encourage you to read biographies, so that you can learn from the lives of great men and women who have gone ahead of us, so that you can glean counsel from their wealth of experiences; both good and bad in order to know the right path to follow so you can be successful. Being a student of history will protect you from repeating the same mistakes made by the previous generation. Remember that a wise man learns from the mistakes of others.

When Moses was taking the Israelites through the wilderness, God was with him but he also needed the experience of Hobab; his father in law who served like a mentor to him as they journeyed through the wilderness. This was what Moses said to him, “… "Don't leave us. You know all the best places to camp in the wilderness. We need your eyes.” Numbers 10:31 (MSG). There is no meaningless detail in the Bible. God has documented this for us here so we can see the importance of following the right counsel. Who are your mentors?

Instruction.
Read 1 Chronicles 12:22 and 1 Samuel 23:16 and ask God to bring into your life people who will facilitate the fulfillment of your dreams and destiny.

Proverbs 15:22 (NLT), Proverbs 20:18 (NLT), Proverbs 24:6.

Plan

“Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run; hurry and scurry puts you further behind.”
Proverbs 21:5 (MSG).

One of the reasons why people fail and their progress is limited is poor planning.

The New Living Translation puts our opening scripture this way, “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” This shows us that the reason why many are poor is lack of planning.

What is a plan? A plan is a written strategy of how you want to achieve your goals. Plan your day, your week and your month. First begin your day by writing down your goals for that day. It will enhance and help you measure progress.

Peter J. Daniel who was once the richest man in Australia said ‘Think on paper.’ Hence, planning is thinking on paper. Write down whatever you want to do and plan it; strategically stating how you are going to achieve them.

A man of God spoke about how he researched and gathered about one thousand years of information on universities that have succeeded around the world and studied it before they took the step to establish a university. Now I hear that the same university is ranked above many universities abroad that were started before it did yet this university is here in Nigeria. This came as a product of planning.
Today, as a result of planning, we have New Vision TV as a ministry which God had told me about many years ago. I wrote it down in a book then that we were going to have it, we planned for it and we launched it. Now, in less than a year after New Vision TV was started, we received a statistic that it was the second most watched TV on the platform we are on. New Vision TV has made great impact in the lives of many and we have received so many glorious testimonies from those who have been blessed and impacted.

What has God told you concerning your future that He is going to do with you? Write it down and start planning.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto wisdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Do Not Hate

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”
1 John 2:9-11.

Hating your brother or anyone is living in darkness. Walking in hate is walking in satan's territory. This explains why some Christians are still being oppressed of the devil. When satan who is the prince of this world comes against them, he succeeds in oppressing them because he has something in them.

God is able to deliver you, but if you keep accommodating these roadblocks inside of you, you will remain vulnerable to the devil and demonic oppression.

If you are born again, you have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God's dear Son, so stop hating. You are now in the kingdom of light, walk as a child of light.

It is when your obedience is complete you are able to avenge every disobedience. Therefore, as you turn away from hate, bitterness and unforgiveness and you choose to walk in love, you are empowered to resist the devil and bind the workings and all oppression of the devil in your life, finances, family, etc. and those devils will flee from you and will never be able to oppress you anymore. This is the root of permanent deliverance from all the oppressions of the devil in your life.

The Apostle John was called the Apostle of love and he was the Apostle that lived the longest, he couldn't even be killed. He died a natural death because the realm of love is the realm of life.

Prayer.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am a child of God and the nature of God which is the nature of love abides in me. I do not hate. I cannot hate because the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit that lives in me. Amen.

Forgive 3

“Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.”
Hebrews 12:15b (NLT)

In the past three days I have been sharing with you on the importance of not holding bitterness and being quick to forgive others. Another reason why such a lifestyle is important is because it has been proven that one of the chief causes of cancer is bitterness. Holding bitterness in your heart will make you a breeding ground for cancer.

I heard that a man of God died of a particular disease and I was shocked that a man of God like that could die from such an affliction. One day as I talked with one of my friends about it, who is also a minister of the gospel, he told me that he called an elder in the faith when it happened and it was revealed that that particular man of God never forgives.

Do you forgive? When I did my research about cancer, I discovered that in one of the hospitals in America, one of the first things they do to any cancer patient is to find out if they are holding any unforgiveness against anyone. One of their basic stories is that of a woman whose husband was kidnapped by some rebels in Columbia. As they demanded for a ransom, they will repeatedly rape her husband and send the photographs to his wife with all the blood. She became very angry and bitter against them. Finally, after her husband was released and brought home, she was diagnosed with cancer, when she went to this particular hospital, as she was taken through the therapy and asked if she was holding unforgiveness, she admitted that she was bitter against the rebels who kidnapped her husband. She was counseled and encouraged to forgive them. After she was able to forgive them, the cancer went into remission.

I wonder what is in your body that your bitterness has caused. Do not let bitterness take root in your heart because according to our opening scripture, your bitterness will trouble you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You reveal Your love to me in a deep and intimate way so that I may be able to express the same quality of love to others around me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Forgive 2

“Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.” Matthew 18:23-30.

Every time you forgive others you are expressing the same character and quality of love God has shown to you in Christ. God expects you to forgive others in the same way you have been forgiven by Him.

Do not follow the example of the servant in our opening scripture but be quick to have compassion on others in the same way God has had compassion on you. If you refuse to forgive, this is what the Master is saying to you, the exact words He said to the unforgiving servant, “Shouldn't you have mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?' Then the angry king sent the man to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt. "That's what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart." Matthew 18:33-35 (NLT)

Prayer.
Dear Father, I completely let go and I choose to forgive all who have wronged me in anyway. I receive healing for my heart and the grace to do them good and to accept them unconditionally, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Forgive 1

“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?”
Matthew 18:21.

During the days in which Jesus lived, the Jewish rabbis had taught that you should forgive those who offend you at least twice, this was why when Peter came to Jesus and asked in our opening scripture, “…Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?” Peter felt Jesus was going to be impressed with him only for Jesus to answer Peter saying, “… I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:22. Jesus is saying do not stop forgiving until four hundred and ninety times.

This is to say that an individual has a right to forgiveness from you and I four hundred and ninety times. I believe that when you have consistently forgiven someone for four hundred and ninety times you must have learnt to overlook their short comings against you.

I encourage men who are married to give their wives the law of advance forgiveness. Let her know that she has already been forgiven by you of everything she will ever do to offend you. When you relate this way with your wife and your wife relates in the same way to you, the sweeter your marriage will be for you. It will be like heaven on earth.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause my love to abound more and more towards the brethren and towards all men, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Don't Be Bitter

“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;”
Hebrews 12:15.

Bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart is a roadblock to progress. Some people may look at these things as insignificant, but they are the biggest hindrances to success.

God told me many years ago that the biggest hindrances to your success are inside of you, and if you fix them you should be able to handle the ones outside like the challenges or excesses from those who work with you etc. If you fix yourself and get rid of these internal roadblocks, you will surely be able to make progress.

In Acts 8:21-23, we see the Apostle Peter addressing Simon who wanted to receive a gift from the Apostles but he couldn't because his heart was not right. Though he was saved, he was still in the gall of bitterness and held in the bond of iniquity.

Holding bitterness in your heart will disqualify you for your inheritance. Holding bitterness in your heart will keep you bound to sin. So many people are not making progress because they are holding bitterness in their hearts; some are bitter against God, some are bitter against their earthly father, others are bitter against the government or their spouse. No matter who you are bitter against, it has been said that holding bitterness in your heart is like swallowing poison and expecting your enemy to die.

It has been said that forgiveness doesn't set the person forgiven free, it sets you free. I encourage you to get rid of all bitterness from your heart so that you can enjoy the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause Your love to abound in my heart more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Be Grateful

“And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.”
Numbers 21:5-6.

Our opening scripture shows us that ingratitude can lead to death because that was what caused many of the Israelites to die in the wilderness.

How grateful are you? Are you angry and ungrateful to God because you have not gotten your Masters certificate yet? Why don't you be grateful that at least you have your BSC or your HND certificate? Do not allow ingratitude to blind you from seeing what God has already done for you. As you thank Him for what He had done in the past instead of complaining about the present, He would cause you to go forward.

Are you being ungrateful to God because you are not yet a graduate? No, be grateful that at least you are through with your secondary school education. There are many who do not have the opportunity to even finish their secondary school education. How grateful are you?

A man was complaining that he had no shoes until he found someone who had no legs, it was then he saw a reason to be grateful to God for his legs. When last did you thank God for the meal before you?

I encourage you to always remember to be grateful because wherever you find gratitude, you will find increase. I heard a billionaire say that one thing he does every day is to write things to be grateful for. Are you that way? I've also observed that even the believers that are doing very well in ministry are very grateful people. Until you learn the attitude of gratitude as an individual, you are likely to suffer frustration.

Instruction.
With the list you wrote down yesterday, express gratitude to God by reading out those things in praise and thanksgiving to God.

Stop Complaining

“And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.”
Numbers 11:1.

Complaining and murmuring can hinder your progress in life. Most of the successful people I have studied both secular and religious all had a common trend; they had an attitude of gratitude.

Complaining is actually a sign of ingratitude. Also, ingratitude is always an expression of pride because proud people are always ungrateful.

If you feel you didn't get what you wanted or that the condition you are in isn't good enough, always remember that it could have been worse so maintain a grateful attitude no matter where you are today. Whatever you are grateful for, God increases and whatever you complain about diminishes.

Don't complain because complaining displeases God according to our opening scripture. What pleases God? Faith. The Bible says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him:” Hebrews 11:6a. So, instead of complaining, express your faith in God and His Word by giving Him thanks not complains. This is important because when God is pleased favour will be released.

Instruction.

Be Humble

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
James 4:6.

The sin of pride can hinder you from making progress. What is pride? Excessive preoccupation with one's interest, opinion and one's self. Pride is an overestimation of one's value.

To resist in our opening scripture means to 'stand in battle formation against'. It does not matter who you are, when you are proud, God will be against you; whether you are a Christian, Muslim, Pagan, Naturalist, etc.

For some of you, it is your pride that is limiting you but you do not know. God is standing in battle formation against you because of your pride.

Repent from the sin of pride today and turn away from the excessive preoccupation you have of your own interest, opinion and self.

When Nebuchadnezzar was boasting about himself and his greatness instead of giving the glory to God, God gave him the mind of an animal and he left the palace, went into the fields and began to eat grass for seven years. After he had that experience, when he came back to his senses he lost all his pride and he knew he should always acknowledge and give all the glory to God. See Daniel 4:1-37.

You do not need to go through all that before you repent of the sin of pride. Humble yourself and God will give you more grace.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I humbly repent from every way I have manifested the sin of pride; consciously or unconsciously in my dealings with men or towards You. I vow to always acknowledge you, to give you the honour and glory and to obey your Word to me. Give me the grace and wisdom to relate appropriately with everyone within my sphere, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Turn Away From Sin

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.”
1 John 2:1a.

Another roadblock to progress is sin. Let no one deceive you, sin is sin no matter who is sinning it. When David the man after God's heart sinned, he had to bear the consequences; for a while, he had to vacate the throne. There are many today who are vacating their designated place in destiny because of sin.

Our opening scripture shows us that God does not expect you to sin as a Christian. A life of sin is not convenient for a Christian.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-8 (NKJV) says, “Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God; for you know what commandments we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.
For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause my love to abound more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that I may approve things that are excellent; that I may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Who Are Your Friends?

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
Proverbs 13:20.

Negative associations can hinder your progress. This is because friendship is like a force field taking you in a particular direction.

The Lord spoke to me saying, “Your friends determine your size.” Every man will rise or fall to the level of His relationship.

It has been said that if you want to know your net worth, count five of your friends, write down the amount they each earn, add it altogether then divide the sum by five whatever that amounts to is your net worth.

Your life will take on the character of your friends so you better be careful who your friends are. Proverbs 28:19 says, “He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.”

I choose my friends carefully and I encourage you to do the same because to choose a friend is to choose a destiny. Friendship is a covenant relationship. Your friends reveal your values. You will end up where your friends end up. So I can predict your future if I look at your friends.

Friendship is influence. Hence, you must examine the values of those around you before you choose them as friends. If their values contradict what the Bible teaches you, run away from such associations. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”

Instruction.
Please read 1 Chronicles 12:22 and 1 Samuel 23:16 and ask God to bring into your life people who will facilitate the fulfillment of your dreams and destiny.

What Are You Saying? 2

“From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden. For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs." And she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children's crumbs." Then He said to her, "For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter." And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.”                    Mark 7:24-30 (NKJV).

Just as the daughter of the Syro-Phoenician woman was delivered from the oppression of the devil by the words of her mother, your words can either accommodate or perpetuate your problems.

The children of Israel kept saying they will die in the wilderness, so God finally told them that they were going to die in the wilderness. It matters what you are saying because your words can either keep you in bondage or liberate you from bondage. If you learn to talk right there are certain oppressions that will not come your way. If you learn to talk right there are certain oppressions that will leave you. Start speaking liberating words.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I speak life to all that concerns me. I speak health to my body. I speak soundness to my mind. I speak abundance and prosperity to my finances. I speak progress to my goals. I speak favour concerning all that have to do with me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

What Are You Saying? 1

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name.”
Malachi 3:16 (NKJV).

What you are receiving from God is what you've been speaking before God. God listens to everything you say. This is why your words are documented in the realm of the spirit as seen in our opening scripture which spoke about the book of remembrance written on behalf of those who feared the Lord.

Since God documents your words, it means that it is what is documented that will be implemented. If you've been speaking negatively, then that is what will be happening to you; negative things.

What you say about your life, marriage, business, ministry, etc. is what you will get. If you say your life is hell, you will get hell in life. Hence, cancel all negative confessions you've made in the past about your life and start speaking right today.

Instruction.
Declare Psalm 23 over you and your household.

Speak Right

“I create the fruit of the lips; …”
Isaiah 57:19.

Words matter because your life will take on the character of your words. Your life right now is a reflection of the words you've been speaking. This is why one of the roadblocks to progress is negative confession.

Your current reality reflects the words you've been speaking. This is why you cannot blame anyone for where you are because your words brought you here. You are where you are today because of what you said yesterday. Your future will also be determined by what you are saying today because God uses your words as the creative material for your future.

Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

One of the reasons you could not get what you wanted was because you were hindered by your words. Why could the children of Israel not enter the Promised Land? It was because of their words. God said to them in Numbers 14:28-32, “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, in the Name of Jesus I cancel every negative word I have spoken concerning any area of my life right now. I declare that I am Blessed and highly favoured. I live a Blessed life, full of all grace, every favour and earthly Blessings, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

A WORD IN DUE SEASON - THURSDAY 8TH AUGUST 2019

Limiting Thinking

“Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.”
Psalm 78:41.

One other hindrance to progress is limiting thinking. Many people are thinking too small to accommodate God's power. That was one of the things that hindered the children of Israel from entering into their inheritance. They limited God by their way of thinking.

A man of God spoke about how God spoke to him saying, “You are limiting me.” And he wondered why God said so because by his own estimation, they were making progress, but God made him know that He wanted to do much more for him than they were experiencing at that time. As a result, he said he began to study the Word of God to expand the capacity of his thinking. In a short while after that, their income jumped until their yearly income became their monthly income.

I want you to know that no matter how good where you are might seem to be right now, God has something far better for you.  One day, a man of God said as he was travelling in his jet, God asked him, “Is this all I can do?” He thought God had done so much for him already, yet God was still asking him, “Is this all I can do?” No matter the level you are in right now, there is a better level for you in God.

Life is from glory to glory. So from today, do not limit God in your thinking any longer. Expect to move from glory to glory because God has much more in store for you.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that my path is the path of the righteous and it is shining more and more unto the perfect day. I am moving from glory to glory and from grace to grace. I am moving upward and forward. Am advancing by the speed of the Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Be Focused

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”         James 1:5-8.

A WORD IN DUE SEASON FRIDAY 2ND 2019

Take His Yoke

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:29-30.

Jesus tells us in our opening scripture that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. This means that if you are burdened by the work God has called you to do, it means that you are not working in partnership with Him.

What does Jesus mean when He said, “Take my yoke upon you …” To be yoked to someone means you are joined to that person. For instance, marriage is a yoking. That is why the Bible says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: …” 2 Corinthians 6:14.

Hence, when Jesus tells you to take His yoke upon you, He is telling you to work in partnership with Him. Don't try to do whatever God tells you to do by yourself or in your own ability; work in partnership with Him.

In my walk with God, there are times He instructs me to rest and I reply saying, “Lord, how can I rest, there is so much work to do.” Until He made me know that He is the Lord of the work. As I repented and chose to walk in partnership with Him; not trying to carry the burdens by myself but instead casting it on the Lord the easier the work becomes.

I encourage you to stop worrying about your life or the work God has called you to do but instead cast your burdens on the Lord and be at rest being conscious that He is able to take care of it. Whenever you are worrying about anything, know that you are not depending on God.

Instruction.
List out the areas of your life where you have been burdened and cast it to the Lord.

Genesis 28:15, Deuteronomy 31:6, Philippians 4:6, Hebrews 13:5-6, 1 Peter 5:7(AMP).

DEARLY BELOVED

Dearly Beloved,
Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to “Preach the Full Message of this New Life” to the peoples of this world.
It gives me great joy to write you this letter. Welcome to the eight month of the year 2019 (August). our Month of New Things. God is bringing closure to the previous season or cycles of
your life. He is opening the door to a new season. Hallelujah!!! Get ready for new things.

A WORD IN DUE SEASON THURSDAY 1st JULY 2019

How To Make Progress

“The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.”
Ecclesiastes 10:15.

What is progress? Progress can be defined as a forward and onward movement to an objective or goal. Progress means to advance. It also means gradual betterment, to move forward, to proceed, to develop to a higher, better or more advanced stage. This means that when you are making progress, you are advancing.

In this month's devotional you are going to be learning how to make progress because you will be able to identify the roadblocks to progress so that you can get rid of them. Also, I believe that as you study the principles in this devotional and practice them, you will make such progress that will cause you to be amazed.

From our opening scripture, we see that hard work alone does not guarantee success because the individual labored yet he did not reach his goal. Secondly, vision alone does not guarantee success because the individual described in our opening scripture had a vision to go to the city but he didn't get there because he lacked know-how and strategy.

So the escape out of frustration and a burdensome life is knowledge. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Therefore, if God wants to get you out of your frustration, He gives you knowledge. I encourage you to treasure the knowledge you will be receiving in the devotional this month, and it will put an end to all your frustrations in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for this new month. I ask that You grant me the know-how and the knowledge I require to succeed unhindered in every area of my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Luke 6:46-48, 2 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:27.

Doing the Word
Take an area of your life where you are having frustrations as a project this month and seek knowledge from the Word of God and good Christian materials including what you will learn in the devotional this month and do them because that is what will end your frustrations.
