Think Possibilities
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …” Proverbs 23:7a.
How are your thinking? In Numbers 13:26-33 some of the leaders of the children of Israel were sent out to go and spy the Promised Land but they came back with an evil report because of their mindset. As a result of their negative report, fear gripped the entire congregation of the children of Israel, but Caleb one of the leaders of the children of Israel that had gone out to spy out the land had a different spirit, he said to the people in Numbers 13:30, “... Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” He had the mindset of a conqueror. The mindset of the other leaders were not so they ended up dying in the wilderness.
If you are going to make consistent progress in life, one thing you must invest in working on is your mindset because your mindset decides how you see life.
Numbers 13:31-33 says, “But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
They were limited because of their way of thinking. So, stop thinking limiting thoughts like the other leaders of Israel, think possibilities like Caleb and you will start making undeniable progress because the things you fear that can stop you are not real. Your limitations only exist in your thinking.
I encourage you to renew your mind to the possibilities in the Word of God for you.
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” All things are possible unto me. I am more than a conqueror and a victor in this life and nothing shall be impossible unto me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
