You have no reason to be a failure.

“The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.”                     Proverbs 12:24(KJV)

Have you seen Nick Vujicic, he has no hands, only one small leg. Yet he is not poor today. He swims, he writes, he is a motivational speaker, he has spoken to a stadium full of people. So what excuse would you want to give on why you are not a success?

You must take full responsibility for where you are. That is when you will start walking towards success. But when you still have someone to blame you are not ready yet. Zig Ziglar said, “A man is no failure until he begins to blame someone for where he is.” So, success begins with a sense of responsibility. You ask yourself, “How can I move from here to there?”

The wealthiest woman in the world is a billionaire and she is black, from a very poor background. Yet she said she made up her mind that everything she does, she will do it with a hundred and ten percent. She said so because she knew that excellence is the greatest deterrent to sexism and racism. And she became the richest woman in the world in the billions.

Don’t say words like, “if I was from a wealthy home, I know the way my life would have been by now.” Being from a wealthy home does not mean you will get anywhere if you have the wrong mindset. Now you are already here so do something with your life. There are a lot of people who started from very poor homes but became very great.

Lester Calvin Brown was said to be mentally retarded, but as he waited for his friend in His friend’s class. His friend’s Algebra teacher walked in, wrote a question on the board and called on Lester Calvin Brown to go and solve it. He answered the teacher telling him he was not supposed to be in that class. But the teacher still insisted that he should go and solve the question. Then Calvin told the teacher he was mentally retarded. Then the teacher answered and said to him, “Do not allow someone else’s opinion of you become your reality.” This is because the way you see yourself is what decides the way you will act.

Today Lester Calvin Brown reads four books every week, every time he is invited to speak for about 45 minutes to one hour he is paid four hundred and fifty thousand dollars yet he was said to be mentally retarded but when he took responsibility and started reading he became a success.

Confession
I declare that I am a success because I am a child of God. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I have a sound mind, the mind of Christ, mental sagacity that surpasses human intelligence and nothing shall be impossible unto me. Amen.

Doing the word
Make up your mind to give a hundred and ten percent to all you do.
