The Bible is absolute truth 2.

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:20-21(KJV)

The Bible is not the opinionated documentation of questionable men. The Bible says in our opening scripture that the writers of the scriptures were holy men. If the scriptures were not written from private interpretation as the Bible says in 2 Peter 1:20, it therefore means that the scriptures are not the opinions of men.
The Bible is not the opinionated documentation of questionable men but holy men wrote the scriptures as moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible is God’s accurate opinion about everything. The Bible is God’s opinion that is why we should always let scripture interpret scripture. By so doing, we are allowing God to speak for Himself.
Accept the Bible as the truth and the teachings it contains as absolute truth. The Bible is a written revelation of God’s progressive plan of redemption consummated by Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

The central theme of the Bible is God’s redemptive plan. The Bible is not a history book, though it contains some historically accurate information. Its focus is on God’s redemptive plan to bless all men through the seed of Abraham.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Bible that daily reveals to me the truth about you, the redemptive work of Christ and my identity in you as your child. Help me to walk in the reality of this truth and grow in the perfection of Christ everyday of my life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
