Established in righteousness.
“In righteousness shalt thou be established: …”
Isaiah 54:14
The Christian that does not understand the doctrine of righteousness would not be established because the Bible says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: …”
I read a story of a particular woman of God who, in her earlier days, wanted to be righteous in the sight of God. So, in trying to be righteous, she will stick pins in her body to disfigure it so that she will look ugly. She thought that, maybe, God will look at her, feel sorry for her and accept her. Do you know that there are many who still think that God will accept them because of their suffering? So they inflict punishment on themselves because of the sins of their past so that God can look on them and feel pity for them and accept them.
God does not accept us because of our suffering; He accepts us because of the suffering of Jesus Christ. Jesus already suffered for all our sins. Isaiah 53:4-6 say, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” You do not need to pay any longer for your sins; Jesus Christ paid it all. Surrender to Him, and receive by faith His salvation and righteousness. He became sin for you that you might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus I lay aside all inferiority and condemnation of the devil because Jesus already suffered for me. He was wounded for my transgressions. He was bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon Him; and with his stripes I am healed and completely made whole: spirit, soul and body. I am already accepted in the Beloved. Amen.

Doing the Word
Stop trying to pay for your sins; Jesus already paid.
