Free from sin.
“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” John 8:10-11
It is knowing you are the righteousness of God that breaks your bad habits. When the woman that was caught in the very act of adultery was brought to Jesus, in John Chapter 8, by the scribes and Pharisees demanding that she should be stoned to death, none of them could condemn her because they were not without sin. Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” When you are free from condemnation, you would be free from sinning.
John 3:16-18 say, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Romans 6:22 says, “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” When you got born again, you were made righteous and became free from condemnation; as a result you were made free from sin. Understanding that Jesus has freed you from sin breaks the power of sin from your life and empowers you to go, and sin no more.
Romans 4:6-8, Romans 6:11-18, Romans 8:1-2.
