A blessed plan.

Thursday, March 30th.
A blessed plan.

“And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].” Genesis 12:2(AMP)

God's plans are already blessed, and the blessing is God's power to get wealth. So if you find God's plan for your life, you have keyed yourself into the blessing. That means finding God's plan for your life is finding the place of your wealth.

God's plan for your life will make you distinguished and famous. God's plan for your life will also make you a blessing to your world.

I read about a boy who according to the time the article was written was twenty-one years old in 2008 and he has signed a contract with Sony with his own record label. Reading more about him I discovered that as a child at six he was already playing music and learning all kinds of music. He became successful because he found what he was wired for.

What are you wired for? It is not just enough to find your talent; your talent is what you have the ability to do naturally and you enjoy doing it too. You must also find your sweet spot. Your sweet spot is that place where your talent, your passion and your dreams all match at one point. It is when you find your sweet spot that you will be able to impact the world. That is when global impact is possible.

Martin Luther King Jr. was able to impact the world because he found his sweet spot. His talent (he was an orator) matched his passion and his dream which was racial equality in America. As he focused on this one thing he was able to make a global impact. Now he is dead but we are still talking about him and seeing the impact of his life. Finding your sweet spot will help you make the greatest impact with your life.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You because Your blessing is heavy upon my life. Therefore I am blessed to be a blessing until all the families of the earth have been blessed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

An invitation to greatness.

Wednesday,  March 29th.
An invitation to greatness.

“And I will make of thee a great nation, …”
Genesis 12:2a

When God shows you what He wants to do with your life, it is an invitation to greatness. The reason why many do not become great is not because they did not seek titles or positions. It is primarily because they did not follow after God's plan for their lives.

You may choose to become a doctor because your father wanted you to become a doctor but you may not love being a doctor because it is not in your DNA. For instance, I love what I am doing today because I am living out God's plan for my life. I do not struggle to do it because it is in my DNA. It is what I was created to do. When you are in God's perfect will for your life your success is effortless. One of the laws of success is called the law of least effort; that means when you are in the center of God's will for your life even the little thing you do will be amplified by God.

God's will for your life is something that you are wired to do. This is why people who succeed in life, succeed in doing what they love to do and they do it well. When you do what you love, you will do it with energy because you will always have energy to do what you love. Even when I am tired I still want to do what I love which is to teach and preach.

If you are reading this today, I want you to know that there is something that you are born to do. Find it and begin to experience God amplify even the least effort you put into what you do.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because You will help me to stand perfect and complete in Your will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Faith in God's plan.

Tuesday, March 28th.
Faith in God's plan.

“I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”
Jeremiah 29:11(GNB)

God's plan has no possibility of failure and man's plan has no guarantee of success. God says, “In my plan you will prosper.” I encourage you to have faith in God's plan for your life when you discover it.

When God began to unveil His plan for Abram in Genesis 12, God said to Him, “…Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Genesis 12:1. Prior to when God spoke to Abram he lived among his own family but when God began to unveil His plan it required Abram to get out of his country, his kindred and his father's house to a strange land. This meant that God was taking him to a place where he would have to depend completely on Him.

It is important for you to understand this principle concerning God's plan. You will have to depend completely on God for its fulfillment. God's plan for your life will always be bigger than what you can achieve by yourself. You will need God for the fulfillment of His plan. Trust Him to guide you to your wealthy place.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You stir my heart and order my steps in line with Your plan and perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Get in your place.

Monday, March 27th.
Get in your place.

“"Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations-- that's what I had in mind for you."”
Jeremiah 1:5(MSG)

In my younger days I loved playing football. As a result, I began to feel that I could be a professional footballer. I discovered that the more I grew and mixed up with some professional footballers, I knew that there are different levels of skills and being a professional footballer was not my place.

Looking back now, I will say that I first discovered my place when I was eight years old but since I was unlearned, I still got distracted from my place. And finally after I got restored to Christ at seventeen and went on to discover God's will for my life; which is the teaching and preaching of God's Word, wake me up any day and at anytime and ask me about any subject in the Bible I am ready. This is because I have found my place. This is my sweet spot. Have you discovered your place? Have you discovered God's will for your life? That is your sweet spot.

Stop comparing yourself with others. Our destinies are different. Therefore if you are going to be successful, find out what is in your destiny and do it. When you discover God's plan for your life, you have found the way into success.

Sunday,  March 26th.
Know His will.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it,

do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye

might be filled with the knowledge of his will in

all wisdom and spiritual understanding;”
Colossians 1:9

The will of God for your life is that which brings

Him pleasure. It also refers to His intention, plan

and purpose for your life.

Every human being on earth is designed to bring God

pleasure. This is because the Bible says in

Revelation 4:11, “… for thou hast created all

things, and for thy pleasure they are and were

created.”

You are not a child of chance. You were born to

fulfill a purpose. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I

formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before

thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,

and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

This verse reveals to us that God was the One who

actually formed you in the belly. This means that

your birth was not a mistake. Your parents may not

have planned to have you but according to the

scriptures, your existence is not a mistake.

According to Jeremiah 1:5, God not only formed but

He knew you; that means that before you were born,

God already had a picture of you. Therefore you are

God's dream manifested in the earth. You will also

notice from Jeremiah 1:5 that God already decided

your destiny before you were born because He says

that, “…before thou camest forth out of the womb I

sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto

the nations.” This is why it is important for you to

hear from God because He formed you, knew you and

destined you therefore He has the blueprint for your

life which you ought to follow. Therefore I

encourage you to follow divine guidance so that you

can be, do and have all that God has ordained for

you to be, do and have.

Confession.
I am not a child of chance. Predestination is at

work in me. I was born to fulfill God's purpose for

my life and I will fulfill it. I am anointed to be,

God speaks through the Bible.

Saturday, March 25th.
God speaks through the Bible.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”
Psalm 119:18

God speaks to you through His Word. The Bible is the voice of God in print. This means that God can speak to you from the written Word in the Bible. This is why you can be studying the Bible and a certain verse will just come alive to you as though it was written specifically to you. Anytime that happens, that is God talking to you from the scriptures.

For instance, my coming to Bayelsa was got from the scriptures. I was studying my Bible and I got to Matthew 4:15-16(NKJV), “The land of Zebulon, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light; And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” When I read, “The land of Zebulon, …” Deuteronomy 33:18-19 came to my spirit that made me know according to the scriptures that Zebulon shall suck from the abundance of the sea. The abundance of the sea refers to oil wealth. “And the land of Naphtali ...” Naphtali refers to wrestlings, also Genesis 49:21 also came to my spirit where the Bible lets us know that Naphtali speaks goodly words.

So as God spoke to me I understood that the place He was sending me to was a place in between Naphtali and Zebulon. Naphtali as I understood referred to Warri; a city in Delta State where slangs originates from in the Niger Delta and they have been some unrest in the city at that time. Then Zebulon the oil rich city was Port Harcourt. So the state in between these states where you find these two cities is Bayelsa. Bayelsa at that time fitted the description of Matthew 4:16 because the State had been in darkness for about six months because at that time because the turbine they used was faulty. On hearing this I just knew in my spirit that Bayelsa was the place. It is the place of my rising. So, the Bible can also talk to you as you let the Holy Spirit guide you in the context of God's plan for your life.

Dear Father, I ask that You grant me an understanding of the mystery of Your will even as I study Your Word daily, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Why some can't hear.

Friday, March 24th.
Why some can't hear.

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.”
Matthew 13:16

Being born again is a license to hear from God. Therefore, as a Christian God is talking to you because you have ears that hear and eyes that see.

Since you have ears that hear and eyes that see as a Christian, hearing from God is a choice because He is always speaking. If God is always speaking then why are some people not hearing? Firstly, they are not hearing because they are not listening. The Bible says in Matthew 13:9, “Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” So if you are not hearing, you are not listening.

Secondly, the condition of your heart is what determines your ability to hear and understand when God speaks to you. Jesus said, “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”
Matthew 10:13-15

God speaks today.

Thursday, March 23rd.
God speaks today.

“I am the LORD, and I do not change …”
Malachi 3:6(GNB)

Our opening scripture shows us that the Lord we serve does not change. Now if He does not change it means that if He spoke to those who existed in Bible days, it therefore means that He still speaks today.

The Bible says, “In the past God spoke to our ancestors many times and in many ways through the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son…” Hebrews 1:1-2a (GNB) This again shows us that God still speaks in these last days through His Son.

The voice of the Word is the voice of the Son. The Bible says, “But in the last days it will come about that the mountain of the Lord's house will be placed on the top of the mountains, and be lifted up over the hills; and peoples will be flowing to it. And a number of nations will go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will give us knowledge of his ways and we will be guided by his word: for from Zion the law will go out, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Micah 4:1-2(BBE)

The law of devotion.

Wednesday, March   22nd.
The law of devotion.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
John 10:27

The more time you spend in prayer and the study of God's Word the clearer God's voice will be to you; this is the law of devotion. Time invested in prayer and the Word of God will make God's voice clearer to you. I will like to explain this to you by what I experienced some years back, at this time we were not yet on television; I was only on radio preaching on Sound Dynamics.

On this day, I went to a popular eatery in Yenagoa at that time and as I passed a lady, and greeted her, suddenly she turned back at me and asked if I was Pastor David Wale Feso of which I answered on the affirmative. She then said that when she heard my voice she knew I was the one because she listens to me on radio. This meant that she had listened to me so much that she was now very familiar with my voice, even though she had never seen my face before; when she heard my voice alone she could determine my identity. That is what happens to you when you apply the law of devotion with God through the Word and prayer. When you have become so addicted to His Word, you can never miss His voice.

The more you spend time with the truth, you will be able to determine falsehood every time.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for making me attentive to Your guidance by Your Word. May Your Word continue to be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of confirmation.

Tuesday, March 21st.
The law of confirmation.

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”
Romans 8:16

Everything that someone claims to be a message from God should bear witness with your spirit. This is what the law of confirmation teaches. A very good account in scripture that emphasizes the law of confirmation was the encounter that led to the salvation of Cornelius the Roman centurion and his family.

In Acts 10:5-6 an angel appeared to him as he prayed and gave him the following instructions, “And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.” After the angel had instructed Cornelius on what to do, he obeyed and sent men to search for Peter. The Lord bearing witness to the law of confirmation also showed Peter a vision (See Acts 10:9-17). While Peter still thought on the vision and doubted not understanding what the vision meant, the Lord spoke to Him audibly in Acts 10:19-20, “…Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.” On hearing this Peter went out to them and finally went down with them to Caesarea  where Cornelius, his family, kinsmen and near friends were waiting to hear the words from Peter that ultimately led to their salvation.

The connection between Cornelius and Peter was only made possible by the law of confirmation. Therefore, whatever anyone says that is from the Lord should bear witness with your spirit because the Lord always confirms His Word.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for making me sensitive to the leading and prompting of Your Spirit to me always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of focus.

Monday, March 20th.
The law of focus.

“If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.”
Mark 4:23-24

Focus is directed attention. Therefore, focus is one of the laws you need to pay attention to if you want to hear from God consistently. To focus is to direct your attention or effort at something specific. To focus also means to concentrate your attention on something.

The Bible says in our opening scripture, “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” So if you are not hearing it means that you are not listening. Two people can be listening to a message together, but the measure of focus each one gives to what is being said determines what they will hear. The reason why someone will say something and then someone else says that he or she did not hear what was said is as a result of broken focus in concentrating on what was being said.

Pay attention to what God has said and what He is saying to you because as you do, more will be given to you, in other words, you will be able to hear Him more consistently. Mark 4:24(AMP) says, “And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”

The law of hunger.

Sunday, March 19th.
The law of hunger.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
Matthew 5:6

The law of hunger teaches that to be able to hear from God consistently you must have a hunger in your heart. If you are finding it difficult to hear or be guided by God's Spirit, the question I will like to ask you is this: are you hungry to hear from God? Are you hungry for another level in God? Are you hungry for the deeper things of God? Or are you satisfied with where you are?

Isaiah 55:1 says, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” God is saying come to the waters, if you have no money, come, buy and eat. How will you be able to buy wine and milk without money and without price? You buy with your thirst. Your hunger gives you access to these things.

Therefore in the realm of the spirit, hunger and thirst is currency. There are certain things God will not put into your hands until you hunger for them. You have to press into the deep things of God by your hunger. God will only give you what you value and we pursue only what we value. I encourage you to stir up your hunger for more in God. John G. Lake had such a hunger and he said to God, “I am going to give You a hundredfold obedience I want a hundredfold of Your power.” The intensity of your hunger for God is what decides the measure of your impact. Scholars say that the Apostle Paul lived for just fifty-six years and we cannot forget Paul's work till today. He was a man who had a deep hunger for God. Have a hunger to go beyond the usual. Have a hunger to go beyond the norm because there is more in God and He wants us to press into it.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask for grace to give You a hundredfold obedience in adherence to Your Word and instructions to me always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of readiness.

Saturday, March 18th.
The law of readiness.

“I have yet many things to say to you: but you cannot bear them now.”
John 16:12

You must also understand the law of readiness if you are going to hear consistently from God. There are certain things God cannot discuss with you unless you grow. If you do not take your spiritual growth seriously, there are certain things God will not be able to tell you because you would not be able to understand them.

Hebrews 5:11(CEV) says, “Much more could be said about this subject. But it is hard to explain, and all of you are slow to understand.” The deep things of God cannot be revealed to you until you are ready for them and one of the ways you make yourself ready is by growing spiritually.

1 Corinthians 3:1 says, “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.” There are certain things God cannot say or share with you if you are a child spiritually and not able to bridle your tongue. Children talk without restrain that is why you do not tell secrets to children.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 12:3-4, “And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” Why could God entrust such revelations to him? He was mature enough to bear them and keep them in trust. God will not trust you with His secrets until you are mature enough.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you give to me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You; may the eyes of my understanding be enlightened that I may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of knowledge.

Friday, March 17th.
The law of knowledge.

“… but the people that know their God shall prevail and succeed.”
Daniel 11:32(DRB)

The law of knowledge states that, “To hear from God consistently you must know and believe that God wants to speak to you.” You must also understand that God is speaking to you now and you must know how God speaks. This is important because if you do not know how God speaks you will miss out in a lot of things.

There are lots of people missing out on a whole lot of things because they do not know how God speaks, and even when He speaks to them, they cannot hear Him because they cannot discern His voice.

Kenneth E. Hagin was speaking one time on how God leads and a great minister of the gospel who was there in that meeting came to him after the meeting and told him that if he had known how God leads, he would not have had the accidents he had previously in his life. He said so because in the two accidents he had, he had felt that he should wait a little longer before they moved but because he did not know that was God, they went ahead and had those accidents. Why? It was because he did not understand the prompting of the Holy Spirit. This is why I am bringing this knowledge to you at this time. Learn how God guides and be sensitive to them because they will preserve you from a lot of harm.

Prayer.
Dear Father, teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto Your wisdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of environment.

“After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy: And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.”
1 Samuel 10:5-6

If you want to hear from God consistently then you must take seriously the law of environment. It matters where you are. According to our opening scripture, Samuel told Saul that when he comes into the midst of the company of Prophets, the Spirit of the Lord will come upon him and he will prophesy. That was exactly what happened “And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?” 1 Samuel 10:10-11. The law of environment is what made this possible.

The Bible also says in Proverbs 13:20, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” The company you keep could either make it easier or difficult for you to hear from God.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I pray that You will cause those You have ordained to influence me in the path of my destiny to come my way and every one that is sabotaging your will in my life will be exposed and removed, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of obedience.

Wednesday, March 15th.
The law of obedience.

“And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”
John 8:29

The more you obey God's instructions the more He will speak to you. Therefore I encourage you to prioritize the law of obedience. The more you obey God, the more He speaks to you.

God will not give you further instructions until you have obeyed the last instruction He gave you. If you want God to give you more, then you must step out in faith and obey promptly the present instruction He gave you.

For example in 1 Samuel 16 God instructed Samuel to send for Jesse and his sons because he has chosen one of them to be king over Israel yet God did not reveal to Samuel which of the sons he had chosen. The Prophet had to first obey by sending for Jesse and his sons to come to the sacrifice. This was why when Samuel saw Eliab the first son of Jesse he felt he was the one God had chosen because he did not know; because God had not yet revealed it to him. After he had seen all Jesse's sons present and God had not chosen any one of them, Samuel had to ask Jesse if he had any more sons. The moment he saw David, that was when God spoke saying, “… Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:12-13. As you obey God, He gives you further instructions.

Tuesday, March  14th.
The law of love.

“Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”
I John 2:8-11

Prioritize the law of love because walking in love facilitates your ability to hear from God. The reason some people find it difficult to hear from God is because their hearts have become hardened. So if you are someone that is not quick to forgive, you will not be hearing well. When your heart is hard, you will not be able to perceive divine judgment.

When you are selfish and seeking your own interest, you will not be able to hear God well. For example as a minister, the concern of my heart for the world and my desire to see that everyone who hears the message of this new life that God has given to me to preach is able to live a more productive life free from sorrows and regrets, leads me to pray for everyone who will have the opportunity to hear this message. As I do, God begins to give me revelations that will make your life better when I teach you. These things I am teaching you in this devotional came because I wanted you sincerely from my heart to be able to hear from God consistently and God began to speak to me concerning these things.

Walking in love is the pathway to the supernatural. Not walking in love is walking in darkness and such an individual lacks divine guidance because he is in darkness.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that my love is abounding more and more towards the brethren and towards all men, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of meekness.

Monday, March   13th.
The law of meekness.

“What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.”
Psalm 25:12

To hear consistently from God, you must prioritize the law of meekness or humility. Meekness or humility guarantees continuous hearing from God.

If you want to consistently hear from God you must remain meek. The Bible records in Numbers 12:3, “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” Therefore because of the meekness and humility of Moses the Man of God, God said concerning him in Numbers 12:6-8(GNB), “… “Now hear what I have to say! When there are prophets among you, I reveal myself to them in visions and speak to them in dreams. It is different when I speak with my servant Moses; I have put him in charge of all my people Israel. So I speak to him face-to-face, clearly and not in riddles; he has even seen my form! How dare you speak against my servant Moses?"” God spoke to Moses face to face because he was the meekest man among all men on the face of the earth.

Arrogance and pride will cause you to lose access to divine guidance. Cultivate the virtue of meekness and humility it is one of the keys to hearing consistently from God.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that the Spirit of the fear of the Lord will mantle my heart and cause me to prioritize your voice and instructions above all else, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of prerogative.

Sunday, March  12th.
The law of prerogative.

“And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.”
Numbers 12:6

Today I will like to teach you about the law of prerogative. A prerogative is a special right or privilege that someone has. Now this means that God has the prerogative or right to speak to you in any way He chooses. It is not compulsory for God to speak to you in just one particular way only.

God can speak to you when you are studying, listening to, or meditating on the Word of God. God can also choose to speak to you when you are praying. God can speak to you from the voice of your Man of God. God can speak to you through another believer through prophecy. God can speak to you through visions and dreams. God can speak to you through a still small voice or an audible voice. He has the prerogative to speak to you in any way he chooses. How you know it is God communicating to you is that whatever you are hearing, must be consistent with the written Word of God according to the law of truth.

At one time we see God speaking to a Prophet through an ass in the scriptures because of the stubbornness of the Prophet as seen in Numbers 22:28-30. So be flexible because God has the prerogative to speak to you in any other way sometimes to get your attention especially if you have not been listening.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because you have given me a heart that is receptive to your voice always. My ears are anointed to hear. My mind is anointed to understand and my spirit is anointed to receive in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of dependence.

Saturday, March 11th.
The law of dependence.

“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
 John 5:30

To hear from God consistently you must also function with the law of dependence. Jesus said, “I can of mine own self do nothing …” Are you that dependent on God just like Jesus was? God speaks consistently to those utterly dependent on Him.

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.” John 5:19-20

If you have been trying to do things your own way and yet you are wondering why God is not speaking to you or why you are not hearing His voice, I believe it is now clear to you today; it is because you are not dependent on Him. I will like to remind you again that, “God speaks consistently to those utterly dependent on Him.” Therefore cease from your own wisdom and go to the Father today with a sincere heart and ask Him to show you what you need to do and be attentive to the impressions of the Spirit and His voice.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I let go of mine own ways and every superfluity of naughtiness. I open my heart today to hear your voice and instructions to me in this season, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WHY MARRIAGES FAIL 1

The law of priority.

Friday, March  10th.
The law of priority.

“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”
Mark 1:35

The law of priority is another law you will need to prioritize if you are going to be able to hear consistently from God. If you want to hear from God, you must prioritize Him and His Word. This means that God must be first.

Jesus put God first as seen in our opening scripture. He prioritized His fellowship with God such that the first person he spoke with each day was His Father. Are you that way? Do you prioritize fellowship with God everyday consistently just like Jesus? If you do you will never lack divine guidance.

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;  To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.” Psalm 63:1-2. To consistently hear God and flow in His power you must consistently seek Him first.

I trust that from what you have learnt today, you will consistently maintain fellowship with your heavenly Father first thing in the morning every day. It is one of the keys to consistently hear from Him.

Prayer.
Dear Father, You are my God; early will I seek You: my soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; I ask that You express Your power and glory, even as I express the fullness of Christ wherever I go today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The law of expectation.

Thursday, March 9th.
The law of expectation.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1

Hearing from God consistently will require that you understand how to function with the law of expectation. The law of expectation states that, “God the Father will speak to you if you expect Him to.” Expect to hear from God because if you are a Christian you have the capacity to hear God's voice.

“But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” John 10:2-5. Knowing the Word of God helps you to know clearly God's voice because God always speaks in line with His Word.

Whenever you get into the place of prayer, expect to hear from God. Whenever you are reading the Bible, listening to the Word of God or meditating on scripture expect to hear from God. God is always speaking, but if you will pay attention you will always hear Him.

“If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”
Mark 4:23-24(AMP).

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because my ears are anointed and open to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Psalm 85:8, John 10:27, Revelations 2:29.

The law of honour.

Wednesday,  March  8th.
The law of honour.

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:”
John 15:26

To hear consistently from God, you must prioritize the law of honour. Every time the Holy Spirit speaks, He honours Jesus. Therefore any voice or teaching that does not honour or exalt Jesus is from the devil. That is the spirit of the anti-christ.

“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” 1 John 2:22-23. Any religion or spirit that teaches that Jesus is not the Christ is not of God.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3. Any religion or spirit that disagrees that Jesus came in the flesh is not of God.

1 John 4:15 says, “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” Any religion or spirit that teaches that Jesus is not the Son of God is not of God. Now you know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error; any spirit that does not honour Jesus is not of God.

Confession.
I declare with faith in my heart according to the scriptures that Jesus is the Son of God. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I believe with all my heart that God raised Him from the dead on the third day. I submit to His authority and leadership. Amen.

The law of truth.

Tuesday,  March 7th.
The law of truth.

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.”
1 Corinthians 12:1

Today it is obvious from our opening scripture that the things of the Spirit can be taught. Therefore, I will like to begin to teach you some laws that you will need to comply with if you want to consistently hear from God.

The first law I will be teaching you today is the law of truth. The law of truth states that the Holy Spirit will never violate the Word of God. In other words, the Holy Spirit only speaks in line with God's Word. Therefore if anybody tells you anything that is inconsistent with the Word of God that is not the Holy Spirit.

1 John 5:6b says, “…And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” The Bible also shows us in John 17:17 that the Word is truth; “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” This shows us that the Holy Spirit and the Word of God are always in agreement. So if it is the Spirit of God then it must be in agreement with the Word of God. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Any voice or revelation that violates the Word of God is not the voice of God and it is not from the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and the Word of God is truth, therefore the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Word. Jesus said in John 6:63, “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you grant to me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The inward witness.

Monday, March  6th.
The inward witness.

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”
Romans 8:16

God guides you through your inward witness. The inward witness is the witness of the Spirit. These prompting from the Spirit can be felt like a hunch, an impression from within or it could come strong like a knowing. Sometimes this prompting can come to you as a check or an inner restrain from your spirit about someone or concerning doing something.

The greatest decision you could ever make is your salvation. So if God validates the greatest decision you could ever make by the inward witness as seen from our opening scripture that means that it is also possible for God to guide you concerning every other thing by the inward witness.

When God guides you with the inward witness, it is voiceless, in other words, there may be no audible voice. All you get is like a nudge from your spirit by the Holy Spirit within you. The Holy Spirit gives you these signs from your spirit. Sometimes you could feel a discomfort in your spirit when you are about making a decision; that may be a sign from the spirit saying no or restraining you from going on that path. If you feel a joy or peace in your spirit prior to making a decision, that is a yes or acceptance. These witnesses and expressions has nothing to do with your natural emotions, they are picked from your spirit.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that you expose every seed of falsehood that have entered into my belief system, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Acts 27:10-26, Mark 2:8, Romans 9:1.

Word guidance.

Sunday, March 5th.
Word guidance.

“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”
Hebrews 10:7

One of the ways God guides you is through His Word. This is because the Word of God is the written revelation of God's perfect will. So whatever the Word of God tells us to do is what we should do.

Jesus found God's will for His life from the written Word of God. Therefore God's perfect will for every area of your life can be revealed to you from the written Word of God. So the written Word of God in the Bible teaches us how to judge truth because God will never lead us away from His Word. So any revelation or teaching that cannot be validated by the written Word of God is error and from the evil one.

For instance, there is no place in the Bible that teaches us that sickness is good. The Bible only shows us that sickness is an oppression of the devil. Therefore the will of God can never be for you to live in sickness. (See Acts 10:38, Luke 4:18) There is no place in the Bible that teaches that it is okay to beat your wife so that she will be more submissive. The Bible shows us that the will of God is for husbands to love their wives and give themselves for their wives even as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. Therefore the way to win your wives submission is to love her unconditionally. (See Ephesians 5:25-28, Colossians 3:19). In line with this truth, any teaching or voice that you hear that cannot be validated by the Word of God is error. The Word of God is the rule book for all faith and practice.

Confession.
Just like Jesus I declare according to the Word that, “I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” Dear Father, open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of Your Word concerning Your plan and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The way you should go.

Saturday, March 4th.
The way you should go.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Psalm 32:8

Do you know that there is a way you should go? There is a preordained path that God has planned beforehand that you should walk in. Therefore the only way you can have access into that plan is by following divine guidance.

I will like you to settle this in your heart once and for all; whatever God tells you to do is not a suggestion, it is a command. Obeying those instructions could either make or mar your destiny. So anyone or anything that will suggest that you violate divine instructions is from the enemy.

For instance, Jesus knew He was to die in Jerusalem according to divine instruction. The Bible shows us this in Matthew 16:21, “From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.” Notice that He knew He must go to Jerusalem. That was not a suggestion it was an instruction therefore it was a command because that was what God wanted Him to do. This was why Jesus rebuked Peter in Mathew 16:23 saying, “…Get thee behind me, Satan …” because Peter was suggesting something contrary to the divine instruction He had received. Do not follow any suggestion contrary to the divine instruction you have received because the only way you can accomplish your destiny is by following divine instruction.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because I know that You who have begun a good work in me, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, even as You continue to stir up my heart by Your Spirit to continue to will and to do of your good pleasure, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Divine guidance.

Friday, March 3rd.
Divine guidance.

“…he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”
Psalm 23:3b

Our opening scripture shows you that if you follow divine guidance, you will not fall into immorality. Following divine guidance will not lead you into sin; it will lead you away from sin. Divine guidance is one sure way you can escape the fall.

Also, divine guidance is your only protection against losses. Every loss in your life is traceable to disobedience to a divine instruction. The Psalmist said in Psalm 119:67, “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.”

Following divine guidance is the key to uncommon results. What is the secret behind the success of great men with uncommon results? One of their secrets is hidden in the instructions they obey. For instance, why was Joshua successful? He followed divine guidance by harkening to divine instructions. The Bible says in Joshua 1:7-8, “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Therefore, if you want to produce uncommon results and accomplishments, then be committed to following divine guidance by obeying divine instructions.
