Hold on to your faith

“The lame will leap and dance, and those who cannot speak will shout for joy. Streams of water will flow through the desert;” Isaiah 35:6(KJV)

I heard the story of a boy who had no hip joint, which means that he is supposed to be paralyzed forever. His mother brought him to a Man of God for Him to pray, so that he will be healed.

When the Man of God saw the boy, and he was told the condition the boy was brought, he said, he couldn't believe for the boy to be healed, and so he hesitated from praying for the boy. But the mother of the boy said to him, “you pray, and I will do the believing.”

After the Man of God prayed over the boy, they carried the boy with his flabby legs away. By the next day, that same boy was completely healed and he was running on the stage to the glory of God.

I want you to notice that, even though the Man of God did not believe the boy could be healed, his mother's faith put a demand on God's ability.

Therefore, I want you to recognize today that every sickness can be healed, and that problem can be solved. That hopeless situation that you may have found yourself is subject to change. Be confident in God knowing that things will surely get better for you inspite of what you see today.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Therefore, refuse to give up because of the challenges surrounding you, know that according to the Word of God, they are temporal (in other words, they are subject to change), but instead, set your focus on the eternal Word of God because it is able to produce in you what it talks about.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I believe in the power and efficiency of your Word to produce in my life what it talks about in Jesus Name.
