walk in your inheritance 1

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that there are things that God has prepared for those who love Him. In other words, God has made ready some good things for you if you love God. It is important you know, that when you got born again, you were born into a divine inheritance.

Some of these divine inheritance you have a right to now as a born again child of God are forgiveness, healing, deliverance, soundness in your mind, in your spirit and in your body, preservation, safety, prosperity, etc. These are some of the benefits of salvation which the Bible tells us has been revealed by God to us by His Spirit.

This means that without the Holy Spirit, we will not know what God has revealed. And the Holy Spirit is the One that reveals the Word of God to us. This shows us that the Bible is the Holy Spirit talking to us. Also in 1 Corinthians 2:10-12, the Bible says, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

Therefore, give attention to the Word of God because it is the voice of the Spirit revealing to you, your divine inheritance in Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for my eyes are anointed to see, my ears are anointed to hear, my heart is anointed to receive and to understand your Word. I believe I receive supernatural insight and revelation from your Word, by Your Spirit, on how to lay hold of my inheritance in Christ everyday in Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
From today's devotional, make a list of some of your inheritance. Know that each one is your right in Christ. Declare that they are yours if you have not started enjoying them. Don't let satan rob you of them.
