The realm of the spirit.

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.”
 1 Corinthians 12:1
The word 'gifts' in our opening scripture is in italics because it was not there in the original. This means that verse could have read thus, “Now concerning spiritual, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” This means that God wants us to become aware of the realm of the Spirit. He wants us to be trained in spiritual things and how to function in the supernatural.
For instance, I remember the story of a dear man who understood how to function in the supernatural. He was led by the Spirit to buy a piece of land. When he went to his realtor or real estate agent to inquire concerning the land, the realtor told him that the land was worthless, but he insisted on buying it because God told him to buy it. After he bought the land, sometime later, minerals were found in the same land which was termed worthless by the real estate agent. How did he know he was supposed to buy that land? He followed the leading of God's Spirit; that's how to function in the supernatural. As a result, that land alone made him a wealthy business man in America.
It is so important you realize that the realm of the spirit and walking in the supernatural is real. In fact, it is more real than the natural realm. Therefore, if you are a Christian reading this devotional, I encourage you to follow the leading of the Spirit of God in everything you do. If you are not a Christian, I encourage you to confess Jesus as your Lord and ask Him into your heart by praying the prayer of salvation on page 62 so that you can be ushered into the realm of the supernatural.
Get ready to learn more about the realm of the spirit and how you can function from the realm of the spirit as a child of God throughout this month's devotional.

Your imagination

“And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

One of the words for imagine in the Hebrew is the word 'yetser' it refers to conception. This means that whatever you are imagining is what you are conceiving. I will not be able to change your life, your conduct, or your character until I change the way you see yourself.
In Genesis 6:5 the Bible says, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Man was wicked because the imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. This means that the inward picture of a man is what determines his conduct and character.
You are the way you are today because of the way you see yourself. That means your conduct and character is a manifestation of the imagination of the thoughts of your heart. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …”
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I am who God says I am. I can do what God says I can do, and I have all that God says I have. I have victory in all realms of life by His grace that is at work in me, to the glory and praise of His Name. Amen.

See from your spirit.

"And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever."

Genesis 13:14-15

From our opening scripture God told Abram to look northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward from one point. It is evident that he couldn't have been able to see all these vast lands with his physical eyes from one point. He could only have seen it with the eyes of his spirit.

What do you see yourself becoming? What do you see yourself having? Do you see yourself having your child this year? Do you see yourself having your car this year? Do you see your church growing? Do you see your children sound and healthy? If you can see it you can have it. God told Abram in our opening scripture, "For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." This means that if you cannot see it, you cannot have it.

I have seen myself minister in stadiums around this country and beyond. Where have you seen yourself? Where do you see yourself? Do you see yourself begging? Do you see yourself giving? Remember that whatever you see becomes inevitable.

Instruction.

Celebrate what you see yourself becoming this year by His great grace.

Seeing from God's perspective

"By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."

Hebrews 11:27

Faith is seeing yourself from God's perspective. It has been proven in psychology that perception decides reality. The way you perceive life is the way you will respond to life. There are some people who believe that they are going to be poor and broke, therefore since they see themselves that way, no matter how hard they try to change their situation they will come back to being poor.

When you hear some people speak you can tell if the eyes of their understanding are darkened or enlightened See Ephesians 4:18. When you hear statements like, "I don't see how we are going to do it." If you are one of those who make such statements, and you are a child of God, you will need to spend more time praying Ephesians 1:17 for yourself so that the eyes of your understanding will become flooded with light so that you may be able to see the future that God has predestined for you based on His Word and His will for your life.

Prayer.

Dear Father I ask that you grant me insight into mysteries and secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of you and your plan and purpose for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Seeing the unseen

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

One of the reasons God gave us His Word is to form new pictures in our minds, because your present behavior is consistent with the way you see yourself. What you are attracting as an individual is also based on what you see in your spirit.

Paul said in our opening scripture, "While we look not at the things which are seen, …" This means we refuse to consider the things we see with our physical eyes because they are temporal. Therefore, we look with the eyes of the spirit at the things which are not seen with our physical eyes that are revealed to us from the Word of God, the Bible says they are eternal.

The man that is not born again cannot see these things because the Bible tells us that the mind of the man that is not born again is blind See 2 Corinthians 4:4. It is only the man that is born again that can see these things because it is only through the gospel the eyes of the spirit are opened See Acts 26:18.

God wants the eyes of your spirit to be opened because He wants you to be able to see in your mind what He has said concerning you, this is because when you start seeing yourself that way, it becomes inevitable. Remember that the future that you see, is the future that will be.

Dear Father I thank you because your Word is producing in me what it talks about, even as I choose to see myself in the light of your Word, in Jesus Name. Amen.

What are you seeing?

"And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, …" Genesis 15:2

From our opening scripture we see that Abram was seeing wrongly because he was seeing himself go childless. As long as he kept seeing himself that way, God's word concerning him that he will be made the father of many nations will not come to pass. So God had to change the inner picture of his future.

If God doesn't change the inner picture you have of your future, the future that God has planned will never happen. The children of Israel died in the wilderness; those who were 20 years and above when they came out of Egypt except Caleb and Joshua because they refused to believe the Word of God to them since they could not see what God had said coming to pass. They couldn't enter the promised land because of unbelief and their inability to see themselves the way God saw them. (See Numbers chapters 13 & 14)

No matter what God promised you, if you don't see it, it will never happen. This is why I say, vision is the mother of faith. When Abram in our opening scripture saw himself dying childless, what did God do? The Bible shows us in Genesis 15:5-6, "And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; …" God gave him a new picture, when he began to envision his children, that was when he was able to believe God.

I encourage you to allow the Word of God form new pictures in your mind that are in line with what God has said concerning you in His Word as you do, your faith will be activated.

Prayer.

Dear Father I thank you because the eyes of my heart are anointed to see visions and revelations that are in line with your purpose and plan for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Know your identity.

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Jeremiah 1:5

God speaks in our opening scripture to you saying, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; …" The word 'knew' there is from the Hebrew word 'Yada' which refers to an intimate knowledge. Yada also means to 'ascertain by seeing.' This means that you were born because God had a vision of you. This means that we could read Jeremiah 1:5 this way, 'Before I formed you in the belly I saw you.' Then God said, "…before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." This shows us that God's vision for your life gives you a sense of identity.

When you find an insecure person, you've found someone who does not know why he or she was born. There is something every man of vision knows, he knows that if you put him anywhere, strip him of everything he has, with who he is, he would have. Have you found your identity in God's vision for your life? Have you found out that you have the capacity to shine wherever you are because of God's vision for your life?

You would not be insecure anymore when you discover God's vision for your life because God's vision for you would give you a sense of value. Don't measure your value by where you are today, measure your value by who God has made you based on His vision for your life.

Prayer.

Dear Father I thank you because I believe that the purpose for which you permitted my birth shall be fulfilled completely by the working of your grace in my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Knowing God's vision.

"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, …"
Acts 2:17
One of the things that the Holy Spirit came to do in our lives is to enable us to see visions. The Holy Spirit came to give us a vision for our lives. That is why as a young person it is important you are able to get a hold of God's vision for your life from an early age.
The Bible says in Proverbs 29:18, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: …" This means that living without a vision is like dying without knowing. This is because your life will lack meaning without vision.
How do you know that you have gotten God's vision for your life? You know you have gotten God's vision for your life when you know God's plan and purpose for your life, because vision is a revelation of God's plan and purpose for your life.
God's plan means what God wants to do with your life. God's purpose means why God wants to carry out His plan in your life. So if I find out God's vision for my life, it means that I know what God wants to do in my life
and why. That gives meaning to your life. Also, if you want to be ahead in life, then you must know why you were born.
Knowing God's plan and purpose for your life also gives you a sense of identity and self value, because if God has a plan and purpose for your birth it means that you are important and significant to God.
Prayer.
Dear Father I thank you for giving to me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you and your plan and purpose for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Do you question the Word.

"And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?"

Acts 2:12

The basis for doubt as seen in our opening scripture is questioning the Word of God. Doubt begins to grow in our hearts when we begin to question the Word of God. One of the root meanings of the word 'doubt' means 'to double or to vacillate between two opinions.' That is why certainty is anchored on clarity.

When satan tempted Eve in Genesis 3:1, he began by questioning the integrity of the Word of God. Therefore the areas of your life where you have questions concerning the Word of God are the areas of your life where you will have doubt. This is because you cannot be sure of something you don't understand. So faith is anchored on clear understanding.

Therefore, until you understand the Word of God, you will not believe, and what you don't understand you will eventually lose. The Bible says in Matthew 13:19, "When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side."

If you are struggling with doubt in any area of your life, I encourage you to meditate on the scriptures that are listed below in the further scriptures below.

Vision determines what you receive.

"And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." Genesis 13:14-15

It matters who you are associating with because there are people who will blind you. For instance, the name Lot means veil or covering. So there are some friends you have to detach yourself from. This is because your association with them sabotages your destiny.

Also notice from our opening scripture that God told Abram to look from where he was, saying to him that, "… all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever." Showing us that your location is not what limits what God can do in your life, its your vision. The man with a vision attracts the support and resources He needs. This is because it is what you see that God will give to you.

I remember something that happened to a certain man of God named Happy Caldwell, he traveled to Hawai and saw a very beautiful house which was well situated. When he saw the house, he said, "I cannot see myself in that house." Then God said to him, "as long as you cannot see yourself in that house, you can never have it."

Where do you see yourself in the next ten years? Where do you see yourself at the end of this year? If you cannot see it, it will elude you but if you can see it, God will give it to you.

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus I see myself making progress, I see myself moving forward and upwards in this year. Nothing shall be impossible unto me. God's grace is heavy on me both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Amen.

Have a written focus

"Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:" Isaiah 30:8

Many people don't like to write, but today I want to encourage you to write down your vision in a book. Have a book where you write down the great things God have shown you, what you are expecting and what you want your life to be like.

Do you know that God writes down His visions? That is what is documented in the Bible for us. The Bible begins with a revelation of the past and ends with a revelation of the future.

This principle of writing down visions is also being practiced by the business moguls of the world. Those who have turned out to be the wealthiest people in the world all have clear goals that are written down.

I heard about a research that was carried out by Harvard business school; they asked their students concerning what they wanted to be, and about ten percent knew what they were going to be, but only three percent wrote it down. Now, among the seven percent that did not write out their vision, only five percent was successful later in their lives. Of the three percent that wrote down their vision, ninty five percent of them became successful in life. This was because their lives had a written focus. The question I will like to ask you today is this: "Does your life have a written focus."

Instruction.

If you've not still written God's vision for your life, please write it down today.

Vision unlocks prosperity and greatness.

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …" Proverbs 23:7

Many people are poor today not because poverty is so powerful, they are poor and in bondage to poverty because of the vision they have. They remain poor because they are limited in their thinking. They cannot see themselves any better, they cannot see themselves getting greater, they cannot see themselves moving forward, as a result they do not have anything worth living for therefore their lives lack inspiration.

When you have a vision you would have a drive and the motivation to wake up in the morning and get to work, it will give you the drive to stay up late at night to work or to seek for information when others are sleeping.

If you are going to become great and prosperous, then you must live your life primarily to fulfil a vision. Jesus our ultimate example lived His life on earth with a definite vision. He said in John 10:10, "… I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Notice that the vision that Jesus had was unselfish, it was all about making life better for the rest of humanity. Use this to judge your vision. Is your vision unselfish?

Secondly, Jesus was so passionate about His vision that He was willing to sacrifice Himself for the actualisation of His vision. He said in John 10:11, "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." Martin Lurther said, "A man that has nothing to die for, is not fit to live."

Therefore no matter where you begin in life or in your business, if you truly have a vision you will be diligent, if you are diligent in what you do, the Bible says this concerning you in Proverbs 10:4, "… the hand of the diligent maketh rich."

Prayer.

Dear Father I come boldly to the throne of grace and I receive grace for the fulfilment of God's vision for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

See yourself the way God sees you.

"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes."
Psalm 82:6-7

Our opening scripture shows us that our limitations are based on the way we see ourselves. You rise or fall to the size of your vision. You are either limited by your vision or you are empowered by your vision. This is because your life is moving in the direction of your vision or what you see in your mind.

God called them gods in our opening scripture but they died like men and fell like one of the princes because they couldn't see themselves that way. If you want to change the mental picture in your mind especially if it is contrary to God's view of you, then you must learn to meditate on scripture. What has God said about you in the Word, what picture do you see in the Word? Meditate on it until you see yourself in the light of what the Word of God says concerning you.

When you meditate on the Word until you see yourself in the light of it, faith comes. It is the faith that comes through the mental picture you conceive from the Word of God that enables you to take the risk involved to see your vision come to pass. This explains why those without vision spend their lives taking the path of the least resistance as they try to avoid discomfort. The level of sacrifice that a vision requires will determine the size of the people who follow it.

The necessity of vision.

"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." John 4:34

What you are willing to die for is what you will live for. God spoke to me in 1999 saying, "the man that has nothing to die for, has nothing to live for." I remember when I said that to a friend of mine at that time, he said to me, "you must have heard that from Martin Lurther" I said, "no God told me that." Martin Lurther actually said, "the man that has nothing to die for is not fit to live."

Have you ever thought of what you will be remembered for when you die? Always remember that what you live for is what you traded your life for. Therefore is all your life worth the way you are living right now?

I want to encourage you to know that there is always more in God. Don't settle for anything less than the vision that God has birthed in your heart concerning your life, your marriage, your business, etc. Work at it. If you are falling short in any area, seek the right information and knowledge that will give you the advantage in those areas of weakness.

You were born to be excellent, therefore let that passion to be the best drive you to make the necessary sacrifice needed for the actualisation of God's vision for your life.

What do you see?

"And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour."

Joshua 6:2

Our opening scripture shows us that Joshua needed to have the mental picture of Jericho been defeated with her king and the mighty men before he actually took the city. This is because your vision is what decides your reality. I remember the story of the lady that became Miss America some years ago. Before she contested for Miss America, she got the previous videos of the beauty pageant, she watched them over and over again, until she started seeing herself winning it. When she became Miss America, they came to interview her asking her what it feels like to be Miss America? She answered and said she had walked up that stage a thousand times. Therefore that mental picture she had was what became her reality. So what do you see yourself becoming?

Yonggi Cho the Pastor of the largest Church in the world, sets a goal for his church and then begins to envision it, he will see it in his mind, carry it in his spirit praying in tongues and confessing it, by so doing, he has grown the largest church in the world. When churches that are not growing come for his seminars, he lets them know that they are not growing because they do not have a clear vision and goals concerning where their church should be going.

Do you have a clear vision concerning where your life, business, ministry, etc. should be going? If you don't, I encourage you to write down a clear vision because according to Oral Roberts, when you write your vision you empower the possibility to achieve it three times over.

Prayer.

Dear Father I ask that you help me to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Vision the essence of life.

“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Habakuk 2:2

Your vision is not merely your wants, wishes or your desires, your vision is the mental picture of a preferable future. This is why you have to train your mind differently by renewing your mind with the Word of God, so you can think God’s thoughts concerning what He desires from you to be, do or have.

Your vision is the bridge between your present and the future. Therefore by saturating your mind in scriptures, your capacity for vision will be enhanced. Disciplined reading of scriptures is reading God’s thoughts after Him which expands your capacity to think the thoughts of God necessary to transcend  your convictions and to move you beyond all your present limitations.

You have got to have a renewed mind to experience a new quality of life. This is because your life right now is a reflection of the way you see yourself, because your thoughts are spiritual substance. Therefore I encourage you to renew your mind with the Word of God.

Have you written God’s vision for your life? Do you have a goal for this year? Do you have a goal for this month? What do you see yourself becoming, doing and having. If you have none, you will not achieve anything this year. Ask God to show you His vision for your life, when He does, write it down. When you have a definite vision, it will give you a definite focus that will help you know clearly what you need to achieve in this month, or in this year as a whole.

Prayer: Dear Father, anoint my eyes with your eye salve that I may see clearly what you have ordained for me to achieve this month and this year as a whole in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Make it plain 2.

"Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; …" Genesis 49:4
One of the reasons we see in our opening scripture why Reuben the first son of Jacob could not excel was because he was unstable. Do you understand clearly what you want out of life? Don't live your life without having a clear focus. There are those who are always drifting in life, today they want to be this, tomorrow they want to be some thing else. They live their lives without a focus and a clear vision.

Be focused and definite about your life. You ought to be clear concerning what you want to achieve, what you want to become, and what you want to have in life. Most people are not definite about these things in their lives, that is why they have become unstable.

If you are into business, you should have a vision for your business? If you are married, you should have a vision for your family? When I learnt about the power of vision and writing it in such a way that I can see it, one of the things I wrote as part of my five year goal was about moving into a duplex, I described it in such a way that I could see it. In less than five years I had already moved into that house.

Let your goals be so clear in such a way that you can see it because we are designed in such a way that we move in the direction of what we see, we desire and pursue what we see. So if you can see that vision, it will surely come to pass.

Prayer.

Dear Father I ask that you grant me an understanding of the times that I may know what to do and how to plan concerning every area of my life according to your plan and purpose for my life in Jesus Name. Amen.

Make it plain 1

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."

Habakkuk 2:2

Today, I want to encourage you to write down your vision and make it plain. How do you make it plain? That is where goal setting comes in. You must set daily goals that will lead you to the fulfillment of your vision.

Write down your vision for the year in such a way that you can see it with your mind's eyes. It amazed me when I discovered that Toyota had a dream of becoming the number one company in the world. It was clear, it was part of their philosophy and they were thinking like it. Today Toyota sells more cars than General Motors. They became the number one car seller in the world because they had a clear vision.

Do you have a clear vision? What do you want to achieve? A vision is what you see yourself becoming, doing and having. Write it down clearly. I remember the story of Cassius Clay when he became the world heavy weight boxing champion of the world at 22. When he got the belt, he said, he said it everyday, and he told his Pastor, that "I must be the greatest." It was clear what he wanted to be, he could see it, and he achieved it.

Pele the Brazilian footballer was 9 years old when Brazil lost a world cup final in 1950, when he saw his father in tears, he told his father, "One day, I'll win you the World Cup." At the age of 17 Pele helped Brazil to win the world cup by scoring two goals against Sweden in the final match in 1958. He saw that future when he was 9 years old.

Don't let your vision for a great future die. If you work at, it will surely come to pass.

Prayer.

Dear Father I thank you because you are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think according to your power that is at work in me, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Let vision guide you.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: …” Proverbs 29:18
Vision is a mental picture of a preferable future. It means to see mentally or to see in your mind.
The Spanish translation says that where there is no vision the people run like wild horses. That means vision gives you focus. Without a vision, you will have no focus. Do you know what you want to achieve in the next five years, in the next two years, or even at the end of this year? What do you see?

Vision is the essence of life because vision is a revelation of God's plan and purpose for your life. A man or woman without a vision is perishing. So to live your life without a vision is like dying without knowing. Your vision is what gives you a reason to live.
Proverbs 29:18(NIV) says, “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; …” This shows us that vision will make you disciplined. When you start thinking in line with your vision, it will discipline you. For instance, if you see yourself graduating with a first class from the university, it will discipline you to read more, and do more research and study than the average student.
Don't live your life this year without a definite vision that God has birthed in your heart. Pray and ask the Father to show you His plan for your life for this year. Write it down, keep the picture in your mind and discipline yourself to consistently move in the direction of that vision everyday.
Instruction.
Please pray the prayer in Colossians 1:9 for yourself today.

A global vision.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8

From our opening scripture, we see from the words of Jesus that He gave to us a global vision because He asked us to be witnesses for Him not just in Jerusalem, Judaea and Samaria, but to the uttermost parts of the earth.

This is why if you are a child of God reading this today, you must learn to think beyond you because Jesus did not just come to die for a few persons, He died for the whole world. That is the example we are encouraged to follow.

He has given us a global vision, To take the love of God, the word of God and the healing power of God, to every individual, to every home, to every city, to every state, to every nation, to every continent, everyday, through every available means.

If you have been reached by the gospel, you must see to it that someone else hears the gospel beginning from your home, to your street, to your community, to your city, to your state, to your nation, and to the rest of the world.

God has given us a global mission, To reach every individual in this world with the gospel in order to raise fully functioning followers of Christ in every nation. This we will continue to do till our King comes back.
Instruction.
Please pray for the salvation of souls today reading Psalm 2:8.

The gospel – the power of God.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16

The gospel is a universal message; it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes it. The Bible reveals to us that there is only one gospel that brings salvation to all, and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every other gospel cannot give salvation.

Jesus said in Mark 16:15-18,20, “… Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”

I encourage you to go and do likewise; preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. As you do expect the signs to follow you.

Dear Father I ask that the gospel of the Lord Jesus would spread rapidly and be glorified through every available means it is been preached today in Jesus Name. Amen

Mark 16:20, Acts 8:4-6, Acts 14:3, Acts 14:8-10.

Doing the Word: Confidently pray for the needs of those you preach the gospel to because the signs are guaranteed to follow you.

Go into the kosmos.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”Mark 16:15

The word ‘world’ in our opening scripture is from the Greek word ‘kosmos’ which means orderly arrangement, decoration, the inhabitants of the earth. This implies that God wants us to go into the orderly social arrangement of the world and impact every sphere of society with the gospel.

For instance, there are seven social arrangements. They are; 1. Family.2. Religion.3. Education.4. Government and Politics.5. Business and Economics.6. Mass media.7. Arts, Entertainment and Sports. Whatever you do falls into one of the social arrangements listed above; this means that as a child of God your vocation is an avenue for you to impact the people within that social arrangement with the gospel.

You have a responsibility to reach every individual within your world with the gospel, because the gospel is a universal language. Everybody in the world needs to hear it, and each of us have been assigned that responsibility to our world. Therefore as you go to work today, use every opportunity to be a witness for the Lord Jesus, by so doing you will be fulfilling your role in God’s redemptive plan.

Instruction: Pray that God will open unto you and every child of God a door of utterance to be able to speak the gospel wherever we find ourselves.

Romans 1:14-16, Acts 20:20-21, Acts 5:42, Acts 8:5.

Doing the Word: Fearlessly speak for Christ today.

Teach all nations.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Matthew 28:19

Our opening scripture sums up God’s vision. In this context we shall define vision as God’s redemptive plan and your role in it. Every Christian has a role in God’s redemptive plan. One of our roles is to ‘teach all nations.’ The word ‘teach’ in our opening scripture is from the Greek word ‘matheteuo’ it means to make disciples, to become a pupil, to enroll as a scholar, to instruct. This means that when Jesus said that we should go and teach all nations, He wanted us to make them students of the Word of God.

The word nations in our opening scripture is from the Greek word ‘ethnos’ from where we get the word ethnic, it refers to a tribe, race, a people group, a multitude of individuals of the same nature, people of the same culture or people of the same habits. This means that Jesus sent us to make pupils of every people group, every tribe and every race.

This is why the Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” In Hebrews 5:12 the Bible says, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, …” This means that God wants everyone of us to become teachers. You should grow to the point where you are able to teach others the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is part of your role in God’s redemptive plan. If you are not doing this as a believer you will begin to experience unfulfilment in your Christian walk because of your neglect of this important role which is part of your destiny in God.

Prayer: Dear Father I ask that you fill me with utterance that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel with every opportunity I have in Jesus Name. Amen.

Further Study: 2 Timothy 4:2, 2 Timothy 4:5, Mark 16:15-18.

Doing the Word: Consciously create the time to get involved with soul winning and discipleship no matter what you do as a Christian. You can start teaching others from where you are.

Living for His will.

“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” John 4:34

Nothing else would give you any greater fulfillment in life other than finding God’s will for your life. For instance I am not considering any political office, because that will mean walking away from God’s purpose for my life. God told me that the true measure of success is the fulfillment of His purpose for your life.

A television set is not successful if it is not working. Therefore until you live out the reason why you were born, you will be a failure in God’s sight. This is why it is so important that our yard stick for success should be the fulfillment of purpose. The fulfillment of God’s purpose for your life is the key to significance.

The world does not celebrate people who do not have a cutting edge but when you live out God’s purpose for your life, you would have a cutting edge and you would be more effective because you are functioning in line with all the abilities and the graces God has given to you to live by. That is the key of Jesus success, therefore fulfilling God’s will for your life should be your pursuit in life.

Prayer: Dear Father I ask that you fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in Jesus Name. Amen.

Colossians 1:9-11, 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Psalm 40:7-8.

Doing the Word: If you know you are living outside of God’s will for your life, I encourage you to reorder your steps back into God’s will because that is where true success and fulfillment comes from.

Vision unlocks potential.

“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12
Today I want you to understand that God’s vision for your life unlocks your potential. Gideon did not know his potential and value until God’s vision and purpose for his life was made known to him. Judges 6:14 revealed to Gideon God’s plan and purpose for his life, the Bible says, “And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
Gideon didn’t know that he had the potential to save the nation of Israel from the Midianites until he knew God’s vision for his life. Judges 6:16 says, “And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.”
God’s vision for your life reveals your purpose. Your purpose is the why of your existence; it reveals why you were born and what God has made you for. Therefore, when you discover what God has made you for, it is a discovery of what God has already empowered you to do. Your purpose reveals your ability and your potential.
Prayer: Dear Father I thank you for I am strengthened by your Spirit to be all that you have made me to be, to do all that you have called me to do and to have everything you have ordained for me to have in Jesus Name. Amen.
Genesis 45:4-8, Acts 7:35, Judges 3:9.
Doing the Word: Receive grace to do all that God has called you to do.

Vision preserves life.

“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” Acts 26:16-19

Our opening scripture reveals to us the vision statement of Paul the Apostle. God’s plan and purpose for his life preserved him from death several times. The necessity of his vision made God to continually deliver him from the people and the Gentiles to whom he was sent. They were not able to kill him because his work was not completed.

In 2 Timothy 4:16-18, Paul recounted an experience he had towards the end of his assignment on earth saying, “At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” This shows us that God preserved his life and delivered him from death because his assignment was not complete.

Therefore when you discover God’s vision for your life and you begin to function in it, you become immune to death. Know that when you are living for God’s purpose for your life, you are indestructible until your work is done.

Prayer: Dear Father I thank you because you will continually preserve me from all evil, even as I live my life in line with your plan and purpose for my life. Faithful are you who have called me who will also empower me to finish my assignment without reproach in Jesus Name. Amen.

Acts 9:22-25, Acts 9:29-30, 2 Timothy 3:10-11.

Doing the Word: Trust the Lord to always deliver you from all evil as you live your life for His purpose.
