“And the Lord
answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he
may run that readeth it.”
Habakuk 2:2
Your
vision is not merely your wants, wishes or your desires, your vision is the
mental picture of a preferable future. This is why you have to train your mind
differently by renewing your mind with the Word of God, so you can think God’s
thoughts concerning what He desires from you to be, do or have.
Your
vision is the bridge between your present and the future. Therefore by
saturating your mind in scriptures, your capacity for vision will be enhanced. Disciplined
reading of scriptures is reading God’s thoughts after Him which expands your
capacity to think the thoughts of God necessary to transcend your convictions and to move you beyond all
your present limitations.
You
have got to have a renewed mind to experience a new quality of life. This is
because your life right now is a reflection of the way you see yourself,
because your thoughts are spiritual substance. Therefore I encourage you to
renew your mind with the Word of God.
Have
you written God’s vision for your life? Do you have a goal for this year? Do
you have a goal for this month? What do you see yourself becoming, doing and
having. If you have none, you will not achieve anything this year. Ask God to
show you His vision for your life, when He does, write it down. When you have a
definite vision, it will give you a definite focus that will help you know
clearly what you need to achieve in this month, or in this year as a whole.
Prayer:
Dear Father, anoint my eyes with your eye salve that I may see clearly what you
have ordained for me to achieve this month and this year as a whole in the Name
of Jesus. Amen.

study: Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:23, Acts 2:17.
