Created for a purpose.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11

Our opening scripture reveals to us today that God created all things for His pleasure. The word 'pleasure' is from the Greek word 'thelema' which means; will, inclination, determination, purpose. This means that the Bible is letting us know that God created all things for His purpose. Therefore, everything God created exists for a purpose.

When you understand that God created you, and He created all things for a purpose, it lets you know that you were created by God for a purpose. There is a reason why you are here today. There is nobody in the world that is here by mistake. But until you find out God's purpose for your life, you will never truly know your true value.

Value is rooted in purpose. Until you find out why you were born, you will be insecure before others. If you don't know why you were born or why you are alive, you will have a meaningless existence.

I encourage you today to live your life for the reason and purpose for which you were born. That is what guarantees a truly successful and fulfilled life.
