"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men."
Proverbs 22:29
A man that is diligent is also a faithful man because you cannot be diligent if you are not faithful and consistent in what you do.
For instance, there are some people who have a business or store where they sell, but they do not open at the same time every day. They open for business any time they want. They have no specific time when they open. So you cannot predict when they will be there. Yet the same person who is so unfaithful in his business may be praying seriously for progress. He does not know that he is hindering his own progress by breaking the Word of God concerning faithfulness.
For that person who is unfaithful in his business, someone may have seen your store or your business place and has decided to come the next day at 8am to patronize you. Now the person comes at 8am and you are not yet open for business. That is unfaithfulness. It has cost you that customer.
If you are in business, have a specific time you open and a specific time when you close. Do not open or close just at any time. Be faithful in your timing. When you are faithful, people will trust you and because they trust you they will be willing to come to you knowing that you will be there to render the service required.
The man that is faithful and consistent in his business will surely prosper because with faithfulness comes increase. When you are faithful, you will also be diligent in your business. When you are diligent that way, you will stand before kings, not before mean men.
Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because your blessing is upon me and all that I lay my hands to do for increased productivity even as I embrace diligence in Jesus Name. Amen.
