You have found grace.

You have found grace.
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” Genesis 6:8

The word grace in the Old Testament is from the Hebrew word 'chen.' It means to be gracious, kindness, favour, precious or well favoured.

Grace is God coming to man's level to do Him favour. Grace is God's willingness to come down to your level to do you favour. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord and God preserved him from destruction. This means that grace will preserve your life. God wanted to destroy all men and all living creatures because the wickedness of man was great on the earth but Noah was preserved by grace.

Grace distinguished Noah from the rest of the world. That means that God's grace on your life will distinguish you. Also, grace prevented judgment from coming on Noah. That means grace will prevent judgment from coming on you.

For instance, Jesus took our place on the cross, was punished for us and died for us. He paid for our sins through His death so that we may be free, delivered, saved, preserved from judgment and condemnation, etc. That is grace. This is why the Bible says in Ephesians 2:3-5, “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for your grace that has distinguished and preserved me from wrath. I am preserved from sudden destruction and all evil, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Doing the Word:
Be confident in God's grace to preserve you from all wrath.
