No righteousness by the law.

No righteousness by the law.
“If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing).”
Galatians 5:4(AMP)
Do not seek to become justified or made righteous by the law. You are made righteous by faith in Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:16(AMP) says, “Yet we know that a man is justified or reckoned righteous and in right standing with God not by works of the Law, but [only] through faith and [absolute] reliance on and adherence to and trust in Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). [Therefore] even we [ourselves] have believed on Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law [for we cannot be justified by any observance of the ritual of the Law given by Moses], because by keeping legal rituals and by works no human being can ever be justified (declared righteous and put in right standing with God).”
Our faith in and absolute reliance on Jesus Christ is what makes us righteous before God.
Confession:
Dear Father, I thank you for the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that you have given me. Therefore I reign in life by my Lord Jesus Christ.
