Act on your faith.
“And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.”
Acts 14:7-10
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. That is what we see in our opening scripture. The crippled man heard the gospel and faith was stirred in his heart for his healing. When Paul saw that the man had faith to be healed he commanded him to stand up and he leaped and walked. This shows us that when you have faith, you act on what you believe.
Therefore, if you say you have faith to be healed and hands are laid on you or someone prays for you, what you need to do at that point is to begin to act out your faith and immediately begin to do what you could not do before.
“And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.” Mark 2:2-5, 11-12.
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus I declare that I believe in the infallibility of the Word of God. Therefore I confess that God is who He says He is and He can do what He says He can do. I am what God says I am, I have what God says I have and I can do what God says I can do. By the stripes of Jesus I am healed. Amen.
