Watch your diet.

Monday, November 14th.
Watch your diet.

“Don't associate with people who drink too much wine or stuff themselves with food.”
Proverbs 23:20(GNB)

Many people do not know that their diet can affect their health positively or negatively. What you eat can make you sick or keep you in health. Do not feed yourself with junk food. Isaiah 55:2(MSG) says, “Why do you spend your money on junk food, your hard-earned cash on cotton candy? Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best, fill yourself with only the finest.”

If you want to stay healthy, you must maintain a healthy diet. Minimize your intake of foods and drinks that contain caffeine; apart from it been used as a stimulant, it provides no nutritional value. The side effects of caffeine can lead to heartburn, increased blood pressure, headaches, etc.

Also, minimize your intake of junk food otherwise known as fast foods and processed foods; such foods can lead to obesity in children and adults, including heart diseases and diabetes. These chronic diseases can be averted in our lives if we choose to eat healthy.

Are you aware that Quaker oats is good for your brain to enhance memory? It can also help to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart diseases. Do not fall for the temptation to neglect your diet because you are young, paying attention to your diet now will cause you to be smarter, healthier and sound mentally even as you advance in age.
