“…the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5
Jesus was so beaten and humiliated to the point that He was stripped completely naked yet little did the Roman soldiers know that they were actually accomplishing the redemption by what they were doing to Jesus.
For instance, they put a crown of thorns on His head. What was the significance of that? You have to understand that when God cursed the ground in Genesis 3:17-18, He said, “…cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; …”
Therefore, when the crown of thorns was forced into His head and blood gushed out, Jesus was redeeming you from that curse. Therefore from the day you believed in Jesus the ground is no longer cursed for you, it should respond to you favourably every time. This means that whatsoever you put your hands to do prospers. No longer should you struggle to eat. By the blood of Jesus you have been ordained for sweat-less success. Your least effort should produce the same results that others toil to get. Why? The ground is blessed for your sake.
Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the ground is blessed for my sake. The works of my hands are blessed. Whatsoever I lay my hands on to do prospers. By my faith in the blood of Jesus I declare that I have been ordained for sweat-less success. Amen.
