Be Specific

“And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”
Mark 5:21-23.

Yesterday, you learnt that whatever you are believing God for must be clear and specific for it to come to pass. That is what we see in the request made by Jairus the ruler of the synagogue in our opening scripture when he came to Jesus. He came in faith and was specific about what he wanted. He said, “I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”

You must know that faith will not work until your expectation is specific. If you want your faith to flourish, you must be very definite about what you want from God. This was why God told Habakkuk “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

It has been said that clarity is one of the most important keys to success. So I encourage you to be very clear about what you want from God in this season.
