Dearly Beloved,
Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the mandate to “Preach the Full Message of this New Life” to the peoples of this world. See Acts 5:20 NIV.
It gives me great joy to write you this morning after a long while. Today was the day we launched a Campus Fellowship called God’s Ultimate Young Soldiers (GUYS) on the grounds of Benson Idahosa University (BIU) then it was called Christian Faith University.
It began when I shared with three young men the God given desire to start a work that God had instructed me to pioneer. They all said yes. We set a date for our commencement: Saturday, 15th of November, 1997. That’s twenty two years ago. God has been faithful through the years.
The Campus Fellowship became a Church under divine instruction by the 6th of April, 2003 in Benin City. By July, 2005, the Lord instructed me to leave for Bayelsa based on a clear mandate given in April, 2004. God has magnified Himself through us in the many wonderful works He has done in our midst. Glory to God.
Time will fail me to count the many milestones we have reached by the help of God for the advancement of the Gospel of the kingdom. See Matthew 24:14; Mark 13:10; 16:15. Lives have been changed, impacted and transformed through the dynamic teaching of God’s Word. Bodies have been healed. Many have prospered financially. Marriages have been restored etc. Praise God!!!
Thanks to all our faithful members and volunteers, our generous partners, our selfless staff and our loyal Pastors. God has done well again and again for us. We can’t count the tremendous acts of God amongst us. Hallelujah!!!
