God wants you to prosper

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
Psalm 35:27(KJV)

For the most part when people think about prosperity, all that comes to their minds is money and having a lot of it. Yes it is true that when you are prosperous you will have money, but having money is not what defines prosperity. Having money is financial prosperity which is just one area of prosperity. God wants you to prosper financially, but He also wants you to prosper in your spirit, soul and body. God wants you to be in health, and He wants you to reach all your goals.

Our opening scripture says that God has “… pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”, The word prosperity here is from the Hebrew word 'shalom'. Shalom means peace, nothing missing, nothing broken, safe, welfare, etc. This means that if all is well with you and you are dwelling safely, it means that you are prospering.

Child of God I want you to know that God is happy when you prosper. For instance, there are Christians who feel bad when they prosper because they have been wrongly taught about prosperity.

So when they begin to prosper, they begin to feel insecure with their wealth because they do not believe that God wants them to prosper.

Today I encourage you to purge your heart from all wrong teachings you have heard in the past concerning prosperity. This is important because your prosperity is going to start with your thinking, so stop thinking lack and shortage. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” Open your mind to abundance, prosperity and wealth because that is your life in Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father I open my heart to the life of abundance, prosperity and wealth. I thank you for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ upon me that has endowed me with the ability to make supernatural progress. I dwell in prosperity where nothing shall be missing or broken in my life in Jesus Name. Amen.
