Prayer Averts Evil
“One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes.” Luke 18:1 (TLB)
Many destinies would not be fulfilled, not because God does not want them to be fulfilled but because they did not know the place of prayer when it comes to destiny fulfillment.
In Genesis 31:13. God had told Jacob to go back to the land of his fathers. As he was on his way there, he heard his brother Esau was on his way to kill him because he stole his birthright. If he didn't pray as he did, he would have been killed. His prayer averted death and turned his brother Esau's heart to favour him.
Never trivialize prayer for your destiny because it is necessary for destiny fulfillment. Those who don't pray will reap the consequences. In Acts chapter 12, James an Apostle was killed by Herod the king. Why wasn't he protected and delivered from death? Nobody was praying for him. But when Peter, another Apostle, was arrested and kept in prison by Herod, the Bible says, “But earnest prayer was going up to God from the church for his safety all the time he was in prison.” Acts 12:5 (TLB). The prayer of the church delivered Peter from death.
Therefore, if you are not praying for yourself and nobody is praying for you, you may not fulfill destiny.
