Get A Friend 2

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a
companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

Proverbs 13:20.

According to our opening scripture, you
know you are associating with wise companions
if you are able to achieve
your goals in your relationship with them but you
know you are with fools when you are unable to
achieve your goals in your relationship with them.

Ecclesiastes 10:15 says, “The labour of the foolish
wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not
how to go to the city.” If your friends are not in any
way adding value to you, it means you are in a
company of fools.

Knowing someone since childhood does not mean
you should be friends with them if they are not
adding any value to you. As much as you have the
opportunity to help people, help them, but do not
keep anyone in your life who is a parasite. A
parasite is someone who is just a liability to you.
They never add value in anyway.

In this year, I encourage you to get out of any
association of friends you have been a part of in the
past years that is not adding any value to your life
or helping you make progress in any way. It is time
for you to get new friends that will add value to
your life and help you make progress. That is why I
have very few friends. Others are colleagues and
acquaintances in ministry. Some are my disciples,
but for anyone to be my friend, they have to be
people who are adding value to me as I am adding
value to them. Choose your friends wisely.

Instruction.
Please read 1 Chronicles 12:22 and 1 Samuel
23:16 and ask God to bring into your life people
who will facilitate the fulfilment of your
dreams and destiny.

Doing the Word
Examine your relationships and cut off those
that are not adding any value to your life.
